"Good Morning, handsome." Kavin smile slighlty as he heard his mother when he walk in the dining room.
"Good Morning, beautiful." Kavin says and winked making her laugh softly. He walk over and leaned down to press a light kiss on her cheek before taking his seat beside her.
"So, what are your plans for tonight?" Nandini asked as she take a bite of her breakfast. Kavin shrugged and serve his plate.
"I can't say anything right now. I depend on my work." Kavin answer her question and started to eat his breakfast as well. Nandini nodded and observe his son.
It has been two days, since Kavin talk to Purvi at beach. After he walk away, he come straight to home and went in his room without even talking to his mother or eating dinner. That night he didn't sleep. He do have a slight idea that whatever Purvi says that night was only to push him away without knowing how much it hurt him.
Next day after that, he wake up and continue his routine as he know he have to keep moving because he couldn't put his job and family aside. Kavin finish up his breakfast and leave for his work. Kavin heard his phone ringing as he drive to the bureau. He pick it up from the passenger seat before looking at the caller ID.
"How is it going?" Kavin asked as he answer the call and put it on speaker.
"Very well. We are already working on it. It should be done by the tomorrow." The person on the other line says. Kavin shake his head and take a turn toward the bureau.
"You will get everything ready but wait for my order. I will tell you when you should make a call for it." Kavin order the man.
"Okay boss. You got it." Kavin hung up after bidding his goodbyes and a small smirk came on his face before he speed up to reach his destination.
"Right on time, as always." Kavin mumble to himself as he park his car and was about to step out but stop when he heard his phone ring again. Kavin frown when he saw an unknown number but pick it up.
"Hello." Kavin answer the call and frown when he didn't hear anything. He pulled his phone back to see the call still going on.
"Hello?" Kavin says a bit loudly but still he didn't get any response from the other side. He end call and leave his car to go inside the bureau.

"How long I have to wait to claim the money?" Purvi asked trying not to loose her control on herself. She is getting frustrated as she get closer to the deadline that Kavin placed in front of her.
"Don't worry, they will call you soon." Anaya says as Purvi pace in living room. Purvi look at her and nodded slowly. "You want something to eat?"
"Nah, I am good." Purvi says quietly and take her place on the couch beside her friend.
"Purvi, you didn't much from the past two days and if you keep doing this then it will affect your health. I am going to make some pizza for us." Anaya says before Purvi could protest. Purvi get quiet and nodded before following her friend to kitchen.
Purvi freeze when she saw Anaya taking out bowls from fridge before doing exactly what Kavin did when she went his home for lunch. Purvi feel the flashback as she remember how his closeness make her nervous. How his small act make her heart skip a beat. How his single smile make her feel safe, like he had taken away all her problems.
"Why are you standing there like that?" Anaya asked her confused when she notice Purvi at the entrance of the kitchen.
"I-I am going out for some fresh air." Purvi mumble and walk out of there then of the apartment ignoring Anaya calling.
Purvi walk toward the elevator and step in when it came empty and press the last floor button. Purvi leaned back and sigh closing her eyes when it gets teary. Purvi open her eyes again when she heard the elevator ding and walk out. She takes some steps on the stairs and open the roof door. Purvi let her tear flow as she feels the rain dropping heavily and a cool breeze hitting on her face.
Purvi slowly walk toward one of the bench that apartment secretary build on the roof. Purvi close her eyes as she sits and her heart break when she remember the lie she told him to push him away. Her heart clench when she saw his teary eyes looking at her with a hope that she might says that she is joking but it didn't happen.
Purvi open her eyes and wipe her face before she pulled up her feet on the bench. She brings her knees to her chest and cried silently. She cried for everything. She cried for her biological parents abandoned her. She cried for getting adopted. She cried for her Dad leaving her alone with his wife. She cried for hurting the one who cared for her the most. She cried for breaking someone's heart when she unknowingly started to fall for him as well. She cried for her bad luck.

"What are you guys doing here at this time?" Anaya asked as she let in her boyfriend and his brother in the apartment.
"He wants to talk about something." Anaya boyfriends says after giving her a hug. Anaya look at Kavin but take them inside.
"What is so important that you wanted to talk about? You do know if Purvi sees him here then it will be a problem." Anaya says as she point to her boyfriend. Kavin and his brother sits on the couch in the living room.
"Care to explain me how it will became a problem if I came in front of her? Huh?" Anaya boyfriend asked leaning back on his place.
"You alreadt know how." Anaya says and glare at him. A small grin came on Anaya boyfriend's face as he challenge her glare.
"Not now both of you." Anaya look away when she heard Kavin. She could feel stressed in his voice.
"Ha! I win." Anaya boyfriend cheers ignoring his brother rolling eyes. Anaya give him a look that shut up him quickly.
"What's wrong? You didn't seems like yourself today. Is everything okay?" Anaya asked him with a concern look. Kavin sigh and nodded.
"Yeah, it is just something happen in between Purvi and me." Kavin says quietly. Anaya look at her boyfriend raising her eyebrow but he shake his head in saying that he doesn't know anything.
"Tell me everything." Anaya demand and rolled her eyes when Kavin look at her weirdly. "I already get a hint about that when Purvi came back that night but didn't tell me and since then she hadn't taken a proper meal and right before you guys came, she left saying she needs some fresh air."
"But her car is in parking." Anaya boyfriend told her confused what he see as they come up. Kavin nodded agreeing with him.
"Then she would be probably on roof. She love rain, anyways." Anaya shrugged and turn her attention to Kavin who sigh and told her everything.
"Ahh! You both act like kids." Anaya says with anger in voice as she stood up from her place.
"What you m-" Kavin was cut it off by his brother girlfriend.
"Don't Mr. Kavin Ahuja. Not right now. Seriously? You guys acted like kids. When it was time for you to tell her how you feel about her, you made a deal with her. And that is the reason she is soo much stress. Did you have any idea, how she feels when she say all those things? It wasn't easy for her either. She is already in so much problems right now and you add another in it." Anaya burst out and glared at him as both brother look at her without saying anything because they know if they did then it will end with one of the brother in hospital. That is how much voilent she gets when she loose her temper.
"And on top of that, Insurance company is making hurdles in front of her to claim the money." Anaya says and look away when her boyfriend look at them confused.
"Insurance?" Kavin brother asked them confused. Anaya look at Kavin but he was already looking at her and motion him to handle the situation.
"Yeah, Insurance. Actually, I sold our vacation house and some bonds that I buy, to help her out. After whatever happen in between her and her mother, she couldn't get herself together to continue her work. So I sold my savings to help her." Kavin told his brother who look at him shocked.
"W-what? Y-you sold that house? What the hell are you doing Kavin? You are giving all your things to a woman who you didn't know for 2 months. You even went ahead and sell our vacation spot. It wasn't only yours. It was mine as well. We both put money together to buy that house. You love it as much as I love it." Kavin brother yelled and glared at him. He look at Kavin but in return to get to see his silence and blank eyes. Something click in his mind.
"Is this the reason, you want my signature on that file?" Kavin nodded as the answer of his brother question.
"You-" Kavin look at his brother to hear his yelling again but Anaya cut him off.
"Hey, stop shouting. Why don't you fully listen to him? We get whatever he do is only for Purvi, for his love but you are his brother as well, he care about you as much as you do. And that is why, he sold that house to me, so there wouldn't be an unknown owner of that house." Anaya says trying to calm her boyfriend. He look at her and take a deep to control his anger.
"But..." Both brothers look at Anaya when she trailed off.
"What is it?" Anaya boyfriend asked as she look at them nervously. Kavin leaned forward and raised his eyebrow at him.
"The thing is that, if Purvi couldn't complete the contract that she sign then she have to go jail. Mrs. Mathur illegally get her signature on the additional page in the agreement of the acting CEO. So, now she couldn't resign from her position and if she didn't complete her project/contract then she will go jail." Anaya told the brothers. Both of them looking at her shocked.
"When did this happen and why didn't she tell me about it?" Kavin asked as he stood up.
"The day when you guys go to the event. She didn't tell you because she didn't want to worry about her or do anything to Mrs. Mathur." Anaya says and look at her boyfriend when she saw Kavin taking a deep to control his anger.
"Where is she right now?" Kavin asked her calmly. Anaya swallow and look at him.
"As I said before, if she didn't leave this building then she must be on roof." As soon as Anaya says that, Kavin turned around and practically run of the apartment to go on the roof. Kavin didn't wait for elevator and went up with stairs, taking two steps at a time.
When he step on the last steps, he saw the door already open. Taking a deep breath, Kavin step out in the rain and look around the roof slowly before his eyes stop on the figure sitting on the bench. Kavin heart clench as he saw her hiding her face in her hands and heavy rain voice couldn't even cover her loud sobs. He slowly started to walk toward her. He stops in front of her and sit a seat beside her. Kavin put his hands on hers and gently peel it away.
Purvi shiver slightly when she feels the familiar touch. She let his hands take away hers and close her eyes unable to look at him after that night. Purvi leaned in when feels one of his hand caressing her cheeks. Kavin smile slightly and saw as she slowly open her eyes to look at him.
His heart breaks again seeing her sad and pained eyes and he forget everything she said that night. Kavin gently put his hands around her and pull her on his lap. He kissed her temples when she hide her face in the crook of his neck and cried wrapping her arms around his shoulder as well. Kavin rock back and fourth to get her calm down and started to whisper comforting words to make her relax.
Kavin slowly stop moving when he feels her breathing even and heard her soft snores. He smile softly and again press a soft kiss on her temples. He stood up slowly and carefully with her in his arms. He adjust his grip and walk back downstairs in the apartment.
The love birds, Anaya and her boyfriend look from the couch as Kavin carry a sleeping Purvi in her room where he go only twice before. Both boyfriend and girlfriend follow Kavin and saw as he lower her on the bed. Kavin stood back and look at Anaya over his shoulder.
"Change her cloths, or she will catch cold." Kavin told her. Anaya nodded and went to the closet to grab clean a pair of pajamas to change Purvi.
Kavin leave with his brother while Anaya change her cloths before she join them in the living room. Anaya stop and smirk when she saw her boyfriend being held on gunpoint by his own brother.
"Say one more word and I swear I will shoot you." Kavin says in a calming voice. Anaya shake her head and went in he room as they started to argue why he shouldn't shoot his brother. Anaya grab a pair of clean cloths of her boyfriend before going back in the living room. She was surprised to see her boyfriend press on to the couch on his front while Kavin was twisting his brother hands behind him.
"Okay, that is enough. Here, this is your brother cloths. He used to wear it when he stays here for a few days. Now change into this or you will catch cold as well." Anaya says and Kavin take the cloths from her after releasing his brother. Kavin nodded and stood up.
"I already made some pizza for dinner. So freshen up and after that I will make some hot chocolate." Anaya says and rolled her eyes with a smile when her boyfriend cheers. Kavin rolled his eyes as well and walk out to change his cloths.
"That is why I love you." Anaya blush slightly when she heard her boyfriend comment.
"And I love you too." Anaya says taking a seat beside now her sitting boyfriend. He smiles and slowly put his arms around her and making her lean into him. He kissed the side of her head and they continue to watch the show that were watching before.
