Part 1
He was a man obsessed with the notion of being number one. Before he entered the Academy, nobody could ever come close to him when it comes to dueling.
Those who were younger than him, those who were the same age as him, and those who were older than him were no match for his dueling skills.
That was, until he met them. A younger boy in purple, a boy of the same age that loved gems, and finally an older male that mastered the art Cyber Style.
His pride was instantly shattered once he realized that he could never catch up to them. It annoyed him to no end. But alas, that was his fate. Forever the weakest of the four. He accepted his said fate.
For his name was Edo Phoenix, a duelists the long since given up the notion of being the number one.
Part 2
XYZ Dimension...
"Yooooo Edo! Did you miss me? I bet you did!"
"Ugh..."
"I heared that you were able to take control of 100% of Heartland. Bravo! As your former classmate, it makes me happy to see that your succeeding in life!"
I told my former classmates, Edo Phoenix in a sarcastic tone. He had this annoyed look on his face once he saw me. Good, I love it when he's annoyed.
"Yuri... Still a cheeky brat I see."
Those words will filled with venom. I could feel it through my skin. It seems that he still hate me. Hehe...
"Me? Cheeky?"
I pointed to myself and gave Edo a confused look.
"Your words hurt me my friend."
"Were not friends and never will be."
Was his swift reply to me. Hahaha! He really hates me!
"Ouch. I'm just trying to make some conversations."
"I don't care for your conversations. Now out with it, why did you come here for?"
"Fine fine. I'm here to ask if you've found the location of the user of the Dark Rebellion card."
"Sadly no, even though we have taken over the entirety Heartland, there are still places that they can hide. Finding them will take some time."
"Boo~ That sucks~. Can't you find them faster?"
He became more annoyed due to my constant begging. I knew that for a fact due to him gritting his teeth in anger.
"I can't! If you want to find them, go do it yourself!"
Bingo! Just what I was waiting for.
"Nice! Thanks for giving me permission to gk Edo!"
Edo eyes widened once he realizes what I tricked him into saying. Hahaha! Getting a rise from him is so easy!
"No! Wa-"
"Too late! I've already recorded your voice!"
I played the recorder in my hand. To rub it in some more.
"If you want to find them, go do it yourself!"
"Awesome right?"
I asked in the most sarcastic voice that I can muster. Ahh~ I love trolling Edo.
"Damn it! Give that thing to me!"
Edo tried to stop me, but instead I gave him a sly grin then ran out the room before he could even follow me.
"Nope! To late! See you Edo! It was nice catching up with you!"
"Damn it Yuri! Comeba-"

As the door closed, my face soon morphed into a sadistic grin. I started to get excited at the prospect of meeting my "brother".
"Now then... Let's see how much we are alike 'brother'... I know that Starving Venom feels the same way that I do with Dark Rebellion."
Part 3
As soon as Yuri left the room, I slammed my fist onto the nearest wall then gritted my teeth in annoyance.
SLAM!
"That bastard Yuri! Lord Z-arc is going to kill me for this!"
Master Z-arc ordered me to not lt Yuri out off my sight until we found the user of the Dark Rebellion card. That brat really has no care for the others around him.
"Hahaha! Yuri got you good there Edo!"
That voice?! They were only a few people in the whole of Academia that can laugh at me like that. I turned towards the voice and saw someone that I knew very well.
"Johann, how long have you been there?"
I asked the Johann Anderson, the strongest student of Academia and another classmate of mine. He was lazily sitting by the window, which is how he probably got into this room in the first place. Also we were in the third floor... How did he get up here? No, it's better not to question what he does.
"Well I've been here when the two of the two of you started talking to one another."
He answers me nonchalantly as he was busy playing with his deck.
"So? Are you finished with your mission already?"
"Yup! The Archlight Family is no more! I've carded all of them!"
He show me the cards of the three brothers and thier father.
"To tell you the truth, I expected a lot more from them."
Johann shrugs his shoulders due to disappointment.
"But sadly, all four of them couldn't do anything once I summoned my Rainbow Dark Dragon."
Johann is special in a sense. Even though he's from Academia, I've never seen him use a Fusion Monster once. Heck, he doesn't even use Ritual Summon. He told me that he didn't need it due to the power of his Rainbow Dark Dragon, which was proven once again due to him defeating the Arclights.
"Excellent as always Johann."
I praised my former classmate. The Archlight's, they are... no scratch that, they were a family of powerful XYZ duelists that opposed Academia's invasion. Luckily for us Academia we had Johann Anderson.
Johann here is what I call a dueling monster. His skills are far above that of a normal Academia student. I've only ever seen him lose one time, and that lost came from Master Kagemaru, the right hand of lord Z-arc. It's natural for him to defeat the Arclights so easily.
"What about Ryo? Any news from him?"
"You know full well that Ryo hates my guts Edo."
"Yeah? So any news from him?"
I pressured him some more. He really doesn't want to give credit to Ryo.
"Fine, from what I heard from a couple of the Obelisk Force. He was able to card one of the Resistance leaders, Shun Kurosaki.
"I see... Very well, rest for the day Johann. I've got a mission for tomorrow."
"Way ahead of you."
Johann mused as he was already leaving the room.
"See you tomorrow Edo."
As Johann left the room sat down my chair a let out a tired sigh.
"Haaah..."
Leading an invasion is very exhausting. I haven't slept for 48 hours and also, Yuri's here. Sometimes I regret taking the position of commander.
"I can't wait for this invasion to be finally be done and over with."
This invasion is taking a toll on me.

Sawatari Residence, Dining Room...

"What's the meaning of this Shingo?"
Masumi, my childhood friend asked as she was pointing to Olga and Serena, who were both flanking me on both sides. Serena was to my right whilst Olga was to my left.
"Shingo open your mouth. It's my duty as your fiancé to feed you."
Serena had this look of determination as she said those words, it was cute. She told me that she read some of my Visual Novels whilst I showing Olga around the city yesterday. (Without my permission mind you.) Serena also told me that saw a one of the main heroines of my favorite visual novel, Dance Princess Lover feeding the protagonist. Due to that, she decided to imitate the heroine as it would improve our relationship, or so she says...
"Serena... Don't mix up visual novels with real life."
Words of a hypocrite, I know. But as was busy talking to Serena, Olga suddenly asked me a question.
"Master, who is this ugly girl and why is she here?"
Olga asked as she was hugging my left arm. Her question only made Masumi more angrier from what I could tell.
"Shingo answer my question."
"Now Masu-"
"I'll crush your balls along with snow white over there if you don't answer my question within 5 seconds."
My eyes widened due to fear when Masumi suddenly threatened. Olga on the other hand... Well let's just say that her pale skin became even more paler once she heared my childhood friends threat.
"One..."
I suddenly felt a chill go down my spine. Also my right hand involuntarily hid my junk from her.
"Okay I'll answer you! Just stop counting!"
"Two..."
Fuck! Tsundere's have monstrous strength and speed when they're angry at the guy they like. Fuck I don't want to have crushed nuts!
"Masumi wait!"
"Three..."
Ah shit... I could see a silhouette of a demon behind Masumi, and that demon was a Summoned Skull with bleeding eyes to exact. Well... I knew this cliche harem bullshit would happen once I agreed to Himika Akaba's proposal but.
"Four..."
"Masumi, I've been in love with you even since we were kids!"
I lied. But I needed to do that for the sake of my fucking health.
"Huh?"
"Please! I beg of you! I've always wanted you to join my harem!"
Musumi was a Tsundere, and one they ways to deal with Tsundere's is by direct romance.
"Huh?! W-What are y-you talking about you I-idiot?!"
Musumi stuttered as her face became blushing mess. Yes it fucking worked.
Quest Completed: Taming the Tsundere
Masumi joins your harem.
Yes! Weeb knowledge saves me again! My balls get to live for another day! Damn I'm a genius!
"So Masumi's s real life tsundere. Who could have guessed."
Serena replied whilst giving Masumi a curious look. Huh? Since when did she learn that term? I don't remember teaching her that? Damn, my visual novels educated(corrupted) her rather quickly.
"T-Tsundere?! Who are you calling a tsundere?!"
"You obviously. It thought I was pretty clear with what I said."
Serena answers in a serious and confused tone. I really couldn't tell whether she's joking or not. Serena, your socials are really like that of a brick wall. We'll need to work on that in the future.
"Okay ladies let's all just calm down and-"
"Shut up Shingo and sit down!"
"Ok, you don't have to tell me twice."
She's in her Raging Tsundere Mode, I'm not fucking arguing with her when she's in that mode. Especially when a part of my manhood is on the line.
This chaos lasted for another 10 minutes.
Part 5
Later...
After everyone finally calmed down. I decided to explain my current situation to Masumi. This took another 10 minutes.
"Haah... So let me get this straight. You're currently in a marriage agreement with Serena because you're a degenerate and you wanted to have a harem. Is that correct?"
"Yeah..."
But did she really have to include the degenerate part? It's true, but hearing out loud is kinda like an arrow to my head.
"Okay... So Snow White over here is your new personal servant and-"
As Masumi was trying to finish her sentence, she was suddenly interrupted by said newly appointed servant.
"The nerve of some people! I'll have you know, My name is not Snow White is Olga Valen-"
It was Olga's turn to be interrupted.
"Servants don't get to talk, so shut your mouth and let me finish my sentence you skank."
Masumi suddenly gives Olga the most threatening glare that I've ever in my life, it was even scarier than the glare from earlier. Poor Olga, she looks like she's about piss herself. And also, Masumi just called Olga a skank? Jeez... I've never seen Masumi act like this before... I get the feeling that it's my fault that she's acting like this. Maybe I'll ask her.
"Um... Masumi... My very cute childhood friend... Are you angry because of me?"
Masumi gives me deadpan stare then afterwards rubs her temples.
"Thank you Captain Obvious! Of course I'm mad!"
"Uh yeah... Why are you mad exactly?"
"I'm mad because I'm not your number 1!"
Wait what? That's why she's mad. Okay, I didn't expect this type of answer from Masumi.
"Your not mad about me having harem?"
"No! I've always known that this was going to happen! Especially once I saw the visual novels I your PC!"
Why the fuck does she know about the visual novels in my PC?! It has to be my dad! There's no other explanation for this! It's the same thing with Himika Akaba! Damn old man to told them!

No stop Shingo! Focus on what's important right now! Forget about the visual novels for the time being!
"So your okay with me having a harem, as long as your number one correct?"
"Yes! I've always loved you since we were kids! And I hate the thought of somebody else being your number one!"
Okay, this is fucking giving me a headache. I decided to rub my temples first, then afterwards I turned to Serena.
"Hey Serena, are you okay with Masumi being my number 1?"
Masumi face brightens when I asked that. But on the opposite side of the spectrum, Serena frowns in annoyance.
"What does that entails, does that mean she's going to be the legal wife then?"
"No nothing like that, she's just going te be the one in charge of the harem."
"My answer is no then."
My fiancé replies in a pissed off tone.
"...No?"
"Of course its no! I'm not taking orders from someone weaker than me! But if she wants to be the number 1, she'll have to defeat me in a duel! Otherwise, she'll just have to stick to number 2!"
I should have fucking known. It all comes full circle ladies and gentlemen. This universe, is after all an anime about children's card games. Of course it's going to end up in a duel! Well then...
"You heard the girl Masumi, are you okay with that?"
Masumi frowns and reluctantly nods at what I said. It seems that she's fine with it.
"Fine, I'll concede for being the number two of your harem for now. But she'll have to hand me the number one spot once I beat her in our duel."
"Wait... You just agreed to be in my harem just now?!"
I already knew that she was going to join my harem due to the [Quest], but I still get excited by the prospect of it. Man my harem is slowly but surely increasing in numbers. Man I can't wait for the Tyler Sisters to join to. Man they were my favorite girls in Arc-V, Dub or Sub.
"Yes, but don't get too excited. I'm still mad at you."
Yup, noted. I still want to have kids after all.
"She's really going to challenge an Akaba. I can't wait for her to be destroyed."
Olga, who I almost forgot was here, stated.
"I wouldn't underestimate Masumi if I were you, she's been my Dueling partner since we were kids. You know what that entails right?"
"I see... If you say so master."
Serena and Masumi tried to duel afterwards, but I stopped them because we had school. I'm not failing junior high. I still want to have a proper education after all.
Part 6
Maiami Second Junior High, Lunchtime...
It was lunchtime and me and my harem were currently in the rooftop with Yuya and his gang of friends. Oh yeah! I almost forgot! Olga enrolled herself to Maiami Second earlier this morning, and she choose my class which a lot male students give me jealous looks due to her announcing herself as my servant. But lets forget about that and go back to the current story at hand.
"Congrats on getting married Shingo Sawatari! This man Gongenzaka is impressed with you!"
"Uh... Thanks Gongenzaka but, I'm not exactly married yet. I'm just engaged to Serena."
I've never realized it, but Gongenzaka can get really emotional at times. He was happy for me it seems. I honestly thought that he was going to get jealous of me, but doesn't seem to be the case. Man, that line of thinking makes me wonder if I've been corrupted by the multitudes of harem anime that I've watched.
"So how does this work exactly?"
Yuya asked with a curious tone.
"Your going marry all three of them? Serena, Masumi, and... What's your name again?"
She asks my personal servant.
"Olga Valentina."
"...and Olga. Is that legal?"
Are harems legal? I questioned myself. Hmm... Maybe, but just to make sure, I turned to the smartest girl in harem for some answers.
"Hey Masumi, are they legal?"
"Technically yes. But you'll need to have a lot of money and for the other girls to agree on it."
My childhood friend explained to me as she was busy fixing her deck for her upcoming duel against Serena.
"See there Yuya, it's legal."
"I see... Well I don't really see the benifits from it. Getting married seems like a pain to me."
I raised a brow due to what Yuya said to me. Curious... I wonder what his reasoning is?
"Why is it a pain exactly?"
"Dude, have you seen how married couples act?! They're disgusting! They always do this lovey dovey act that always make me want to vomit!"
"Well that's not entirely true."
I told Yuya in a nonchalant manner.
"It's different from couple to couple. Some them act lovey dovey like you stated, while other are not like that."
Heck some of them fight constantly, like my parents from my previous life. It was annoying to say the least. But I'm not going to be like that the women in my harem. I'm a man of style and class after all.
"If you say so."
Yuya shrugs his shoulders. It seems that Yuya and Gongenzaka were not to bothered with me having a harem. Yuzu on the other hand...
"This is so weird! How can girls agree to this?!"
She was pissed and loud. Olga who was sitting to my left was the first to respond.
"Master I've been meaning to ask you this question from earlier but, is this girl related to Serena in any way?"
Olga asked me in curious tone as she pointed to Yuzu. Yep, I knew this was coming. The people in the Arc-V universe seems to have a hard time differentiating the Bracelet girls from one another, which was fucking stupid in my opinion. But I digress. There's no need for to rant once again.
"Nope, funnily enough, their not related to each other."
I lied to Olga. There's no need to cause her anymore confusion.
"Oh? Weird."
"Grrr! Stop ignoring my question!"
Ah Yuzu, you fucking tsundere... I really want to tease you right now. But I won't, because Masumi is here, and she'll probably get pissed off if she gets an inkling of me trying to add you to my harem.
"Hey girls answer poor Yuzu here."
I told my harem.
"Fine..."
Masumi was the first to respond.
"What was your question again Yuzu?"
"How can you agree to this!"
"This what?!"
"This harem?!"
"It's simple. I love him, even though he's a perverted, a idiot, a degenerate, and many others."
Hey! I'm none of those things! Just because I'm scared of incurring your wrath, doesn't give you the right to talk shit about me! I what I wanted to say... But, yeah... The Sawatari family jewels need to survive... Damn, that Taming the Tsundere [Quest] made me afraid of Masumi.
"Ohhhh! Such a pure and honest confession Masumi Kotsu! This man Gongenzaka is moved to tears by what you said!"
You are a fucking idiot at times Gongenzaka! Nothing about what Masumi said was pure and honest! She just was basically insulting me there!
Luckily for me, Yuzu decided to change the topic as she turned to the next harem girl, Olga. Who was clinging to my left arm, even though it was fucking hot. In her profile, it stated that hated warm places. You know what, I'm not going to question it.
"Okay Olga right? Why are you okay with this?"
Olga let's go of my arm the puffs her massive chest proudly. Yeah, she's fucking stacked for someone her age. You wouldn't notice it in the anime, because she was wearing her winter clothes. But as soon she changed to her school uniform, hoo boy, her massive chests makes their presence known to the world. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it, but she's now wearing the Maiami Second Junior High uniform now. My bad continue on with their conversation.
"I'm glad you asked Yuzu Hiragi. My family has been worshipping Nordic Gods since ancient times. Master Shingo here possesses all three of them! It's only natural for me to be a part of harem!"
"Wait, there's three of them?!"
Yuya shouted in surprise.
"Yeah, didn't I show them to you guys?"
I asked in confusion. Didn't I? Wait...
"That's right, I only showed you guys Loki. You still haven't seen Thor and Odin."
"Thor and Odin?"
Yuzu muttered. She was curious of th Polar Gods it seems. Sorry Yuzu, but I don't want to dwell on this subject any longer. So I decided to get her right back on track.
"Yuzu weren't asking the girls some questions?"
Heys eyes widened upon realizing what I just said. She nods then turns to Serena who was been quiet for a while. Why was she quiet you might ask? Well she was focused in optimizing her deck. She really doesn't want anyone else as the number 1.
"That's right. Hey Serena, are you really okay with joining his harem."
"..."
She didn't reply as she continued on with fixing her deck.
"Hey Sere-"
"Don't talk to me while I'm busy with my deck!"
Yuzu flinches slightly due to Serena screaming at her. There's a first, normally its Yuzu that does the screaming. It was was weird to see somebody else doing it to her.
"Well there you have it Yuzu."
I stood up then patted Yuzu on her shoulder.
"They don't have a problem with it. What are going to do now?"
Yuzu frowns before she reluctantly gives up on the subject.
"No..."
"Good, because I'm fucking starving."
It was our lunch break after all, in case any of you forget. Plus, I didn't want to deal with anymore of Yuzu's bitching.
Part 7
One Meal Later...
"Damn that was good. I'll have to thank the chef later for this meal."
Was what the pervert Sawatari muttered as he finished his meal. Jeez, why are both Yuya and Gongenzaka so indifferent about this degenerate rich boys harem! Am I, Yuzu Hiiragi, the only sane person here?! Masumi, Serena, and this new girl Olga is no exception either.
"Hey Yuzu your spacing out, is something wrong?"
Yuya asked me with a worried tone. Huh? I was spacing out? Well this is embarrassing.
"No it's nothing Yuya, I'm just thinking about a few things."
Especially Sawatari's harem. Again, why is this a thing? Why are the girls so okay with it?
"If you say so Yuzu."
My childhood friend shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly before going back to eating his lunch.
"Ah whatever."
I just hope that the girls in Sawatari's harem comes to their senses. It makes me wonder what they see in him. Is it his handsome face, is it his carefree smile, or is it h- Noooo! Stop thinking these thoughts Yuzu! Ahhhhhhh! You'll get dragged into his harem before you know it you keep these thoughts up!
But as I was busy having a mental breakdown, Yuya decided to interrupt me for some reason.
"Are sure you're okay Yuzu, your face is turning red. Are you sick or something?"
"Shut up Yuya!"
"Why?! Did I do something wrong?!"
Part 8
"What the fuck is happening between those two?"
I whispered to myself as Yuzu was currently blushing and was continously hitting Yuya with a her comical paper fan.
"Oww! What the heck Yuzu!"
"Shut up Yuya!"
Weird... Really weird. No! I know this scene! I've seen to many romance comedies to know where this is going. Yuzu is falling for Yuya! (Shingo Sawatari got the wrong idea.)
Damn, it's happening faster than I thought! I need to make a move on her fast before her relationship with Yuya escalates any further! But first, how do I befriend her? ! Think damn it! Think! No... Calm down. Rushing these type shit will only make it worse.
"Hmm... Maybe I'll remove this card to increase the consistency."
Masumi stated as was fixing her deck whilst taking a bite of lunch.
I'll try to befriend Yuzu tomorrow, Masumi's and Serena's duel is much more important to me currently. The head of my harem is going to get decided here after all.
"I can't wait."
I want to see how well Masumi will stack up against Serena in this timeline. Will she beat or will she lose. That, I do not know. This is getting me excited.
"Can't wait for what master?"
My personal servant, Olga asked. Shit, she heard that?
"Don't worry about it Olga."
Damn, I forgot that she was near me. Fuck, one of the downsides of having a harem member that clings to you, is that you can't fucking do a monologue.
"If you say so master."
Welp, I'll have to stick with my inner monologues then. They're much more cooler and much less chuuni. Which is a huge plus for me.
After that, lunch was basically the same as always, chaos everywhere, except now, Olga was added into the mix. Man I love my chaotic daily life. I really want these moments to last forever.
Part 9
Later that day, Public Park...
Due to Masumi's and Serena's duel, me and my harem decided to skip LDS for the time being. Olga was against it a first due to it being her first day of school, but I was able to convince her with my charms and charisma, and by charms and charisma, I mean my Popular ability.
"I can believe these girls, their throwing their lives aways for a pervert like."
"Did you really just come here to insult me Yuzu?"
Oh yeah, Yuzu was here. That's a plus and a minus at the same time. The plus is that I could raise my relationship with her. The minus is that she's constantly nagging.
What about Yuya and Gongenzaka? Well Yuya and Gongenzaka couldn't come due to various reasons. Yuya has detention due to him sleeping in class and Gongenzaka was busy with his family's dojo. The Steadfist yadda yadda... whatever I don't fucking remember it's name. The point is Yuza was here and the other males weren't.
"Master, can I teach this girl a lesson in respect?"
Olga asked whilst glaring at Yuzu. It seems that Olga didn't like the fact that Yuzu was constantly insulting me. Masumi also insulted me, but Olga was too afraid to confront my childhood friend about it. Yuzu was a different story. Olga didn't fear her in the slightest.
"Calm down Olga. Yuzu here, just doesn't realize how awesome I am. Leave her be for the time being."
"Awesome, pfft yeah right."
Yuzu added that snide remark. Man Yuzu's such a Tsundere. Her's and Masumi's characters really Clash with one another.
"Arrogant girl."
Olga mutters before giving Yuzu one last glare. Ah Olga, my opinion of of you is slowly rising right now. I'll definitely train you in the future so that you won't get carded... Wait, that's a [Quest] right? Yes, I almost completely forgot about that [Quest]. Yeah... Moving on... Let's focus on Serena's and Masumi's duel for the time being. I want to see if Masumi can Serena.
Part 10
With Masumi...
"Heads or tails?"
I asked my opponent Serena. She had this pensive look whilst she was staring at me.
We both decided to do a coin toss to determine which one of us will go first or second in our duel.
"Tails."
Tails huh? Okay then. I tossed the coin up into the air, before it landed onto the palm of my hand, and then it revealed...
"Tails..."
I let out sigh of annoyance. I really don't want to go first.
"So are you going to go first or second?"
I asked the girl in front of me.
"Second."
She answered in a deadpan manner. Damn it, I wanted to go second... Oh well.
"Very well!"
We both went to our sides of the field, then activated our duel disks.
Masumi VS. Serena
"Duel!"
"Duel!"
Masumi's Turn
Masumi's LPs: 4000
Masumi's Hand: 5 cards
I studied the 5 cards that were hand and nodded. It was an average draw, so I couldn't really do some crazy plays.
"I'll set this card is face-down defense position..."
The monster that I set was Gem- Turtle. It's a Flip Monster with 2000 DEF.
"...then afterwards, I'll set a card then end my turn."
Masumi's Hand: 3 cards
I'll go with this setup for now. Afterwards is when I'll really start to duel.
Serena's Turn
"My turn draw!"
Serena's LPs: 4000
Serena's Hand: 6 cards
Serena draws a card then starts her attack.
"I'll activate Polymerization!"
There it is! Serena's Fusion Summon!
"I'll fuse my Lunalight Blue Cat with another Lunalight Blue Cat! The twin cats prowling in the azure darkness! Spiral into the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Come to me! Beautiful beast that dances in the moonlight! Fusion Summon! Level 7! Lunalight Cat Dancer!"

A knight with pure white armor appeared onto my side of the field. In addition to that Prismaura was also wearing red cape the fluttered in the wind.

I banished Gen-Knight Amber.
"-to add Gem-Knight Fusion back to my hand!"
The graveyard in my duel disk shines, then afterwards Gem-Knight Fusion returns to my hand.
"Hoh? That's an interesting fusion spell that you have. You're going to use is for another Fusion Summon right?"
Serena said in amused manner.
"It that what you think? Sadly that's not the reason. I'm not going to do another Fusion Summon. I'm going to use Gem-Knight Fusion in a different way."
"A different way?"
Serena asked in a confused manner. I don't blame her for being confused though, the past me with my past deck would have definitely done that. But now I'm different and my deck is different, I'm not going to over extend my plays like that.
"I'll activate Prismaura's effect! By sending the Gem-Knight Fusion from my hand to the graveyard, I can target 1 face-up card on the field and destroy it!"
Prismaura's lance begins to gather some electricity.
"Prismaura destroy Cat Dancer! Lightning Lance!"
Prismaura destroys strikes Cat Dancer with its electricity which in turn destroys the beast warrior.
BOOM!
The resulting electric attack causes an explosion which causes Serena to put up her guard.
"Tch!"
"Then I'll return Gem-Knight Fusion to my hand by banishing Gem-Knight Sardonix!"
The fusion spell returns once more to my hand.
"Now then..."
Serena's field is wide open! Time to end this duel quickly!
"I'll Normal Summon Weathering Soldier in ATK position!"

A rock golem with fossil fragments manifested onto my field right next to the knight of prism.
"Gem-Knight Prismaura attack Serena directly!"
The Gem-Knight raises his lance, then he begins to gather light onto its tip.
"Prismatic Lance!"
And as I ordered, the Gem-Knight unleashes a beam of light which causes massive damage onto Serena.
"Kch! Not bad!"
Serena exclaimed whilst having a smile on her face.

"Wipe that smile off your face! Weathering Soldier end her!"
The fossil golem lumbered its way towards Serena so that it could attack her, but before it could do so...
"I'll activate Call of the Haunted!"
Damn it, I knew it was too easy. Serena is an Akaba, she's not going to lose to something so simple.
"Come back once more! Lunalight Cat Dancer!"
A portal appeared in front of Serena and what came from it was her dancing Fusion Monster, Lunalight Cat Dancer. It blocked Weathering Soldier's path which prevented it from attacking Serena.
"Fine, I'll end my turn then. But before that happens, during the End Phase Weathering Soldier's ATK is going to get reduced by 600."

Serena wasted no in activating the card that she drew. Serena didn't want to give me time to react.

Another Fusion incoming, I could feel it.
"I'll activate Polymerization to fuse my Lunalight Cat Dancer with the Lunalight Blue Cat in my hand!"
Serena then clasps her hands then starts to chant for her Fusion Summon.
"Beautiful beast dancing in the moonlight! The azure cat prowling in the darkness! Swarm in the vortex of the moon's gravity and become a new power! Fusion Summon! Elegant Beast dancing in the Moonlit wilderness! Level 8! Lunalight Panther Dancer!"

Another Beast Warrior appeared onto my opponent's side of the field. This time, it looked much more ferocious than Cat Dancer.
"Lunalight Cat Dancer can attack all your monster, and each one of them twice. But they cannot be destroyed by the first battle with this card!"
Serena explained as she was pointing to Lunalight Panther Dancer.
"Now Lunalight Panther Dancer! Start of with Gem-Knight Prismaura! New Moon Cresta!"
Panther Dancer delivers a kick I the abdomen of Gem-Knight Prismaura.

My grunted in pain as he fell to his knees. We wasn't destroyed though due to Panther Dancer's effect.

"I'm not finished, Panther Dancer finish off Prismaura! Another New Moon Cresta!

Panther Dancer follows her masters order. The Fusion Monster delivers an axe kick which crushes my Gem-Knight's skull, which in turn destroys my monster in the process.

Lunalight Panther Dancer let's out a roar when it destroyed my monster by battle.
"Lunalight Panther Dancer's ATK will increase by 200 when it destroys a monster by battle. This changes lasts until the end of the Battle Phase."

Damn, monster really getting strong! Should I activate my Trap Card? No... I'll still have LPs after this. I'll save it for later when things get dire.
"I'm not done! Lunalight Panther Dancer focus your attack Weathering Soldier this time! Double New Moon Cresta!"
The Fusion Monster delivers two kicks onto my monster. The first kick didn't destroy it.

My monsters body begins to crack when the first landed. The second kick destroys my monster which in turn causes an explosion.

I searched my deck then added one of the Fossil Fusions in it to my hand. Serena was mildly surprised when she heard about the card that I added.
"Fossil Fusion?"
"Yes, I have Fusion Monsters other than Gem-Knight's."
"I see."
Serena nods then continues on with her turn.
"During the end of the Battle Phase, the ATK of Lunalight Panther Dancer returns back to normal."

As her monster weakens, Serena looks at her hand and contemplates. It seems that she doesn't like the remaining cards in her hand.
"I'll set a card then, end my turn for the time being."

With Yuzu...
I couldn't help but stare the in wonder at the duel that was in front of me. I could already tell that I'm no match against either of them. Masumi and Serena clearly far above me when it comes to dueling. I started to wonder how strong the right next to me is...
"Keep it up the both of you!"
The playboy right next to me, Shingo Sawatari cheered the two girls on.
"Hmm..."
I wonder, from what I've heard from their conversations, both Masumi and Serena lost to him... How strong exactly is he I wonder. Darn it, I hate being so weak.

This is getting good. Serena has the LP advantage but it's far from over. Masumi, your childhood friend is truly proud of you. Your no longer a scrub that loses due to stupidity. But... She did misplay a bit there.
"You seem happy Master Shingo."
Olga suddenly told me.
"Of course I'm happy, my childhood is going toe to toe against Serena Akaba, how can I not be?"
"Toe to toe? But Serena clearly has an advantage?"
Olga Olga Olga... Your assessment is wrong. This is why I need to train her in the future.
"A duel is not over until one of their LPs turns to zero. Plus Masumi added Fossil Fusion."

Olga asked in a confused tone. I smiled at the girl then motioned her to focus on the duel.

Serena becomes wary when I activated my Fusion Spell.
"Fossil Fusion allows me to Fusion Summon by using material in both players graveyards!"
"Both! That means!"
"Yes, I'll banish one of your Lunalight Blue Cats and the Weathering Soldier in my graveyard!"
I closed eyes then started to chant.
"The azure beast prowling in the darkness and the warrior of the past! Manifest into an ancient being that will make my foes tremble! Fusion Summon! Appear Fossil Warrior Skull Bone!"

A skeletal monster that was wielding a bone spear manifested onto the field.
"Is that it? I only has 2000 ATK. I'm disappointed, I expected more."
"Just wait! I'll activate my Spell Card, Time Stream!"
This will allow me to tribute a Fossil Fusion Monster that I control-"
I tributed Fossil Warrior Skull Bone.
"-to Special Summon a Fossil Fusion Monster in my Extra Deck that is 2 levels higher than the one that I tributed! Appear! Fossil Warrior Skull Knight!"

A much more modern looking Fusion Monster appeared in place of the previous one. It had a steel sword and shield made out of bone.
"It changed, no it evolved."
Serena mutters in wonder. Yes, I expected that type of reaction. When Shingo gifted me these cards, I had the same reaction as her.
"Just wait, it will evolve even more! I'll activate Fossil Warrior Skull Bone's effect! By banishing it from its graveyard, I can add another Time Stream from my deck to my hand!"
The Time Stream was added to my hand.
"Another one?! Don't tell me?!"
"Yes, I'll activate another Time Stream! Appear! He who ruled the ancient world! Fossil Warrior Skull King!"

A regal looking Warrior with armor made out of golden bones appeared replaced Fossil Warrior Skull Knight. It showed a lot confidence due to how it positioned itself.
"Impressive, now we both have monsters that have 2800 ATK. Are you going to crash then both?"
"Crash them? Don't be stupid Akaba. Just like Skull Bone, Skull Knight has graveyard effect!
Serena's eyes widened due to my proclamation. This the first time that I've seen her with his type of expression.
"By banishing Skull Knight from my graveyard, I can target 1 monster on the field and destroy it!"
Suddenly a skeletal hand appeared beneath Lunalight Panther Dancer.
"What the?!"
Serena says in shock as the skeletal hand grabbed a hold of her monster.
"The monster that I targeted was Lunalight Panther Dancer! Ancient Grave!"
Lunalight Panther Dancer was dragged into the ground, perishing due to it suffocating.
"Now your wide open. It's my win."
I boasted. How could I not.
"Now Fossil Warrior Skull King attack Serena directly! Kings Swordplay!"
My monster charges at Serena to deliver a slash attack, but before it could connect...
"I'm not going lose like this! I'll activate my Trap Card, Final Life Gardna!"
I tiny knighr appeared between my monster and Serena. It blocked Skull King's sword slash whiched caused my monster to back off.
Clang!
"What?!"
I momentarily surprised by what happened. Damn it, I forgot her set card.
"If my LPs would be reduced to 0 by battle damage, Final Life Gardna would end the Battle Phase then makes my LPs 100 instead."

As soon Serena drew her card she closed her eyes. I wondered why she did that.

"This card will allow to draw 3 cards, then discard 2 cards afterwards!"
Serena then opens her eyes a grins at what cards she saw.
"I'll Normal Summon Lunalight Black Sheep in ATK position!"

I monster that was wearing a tuxedo appeared onto my opponent's side of the field.
"100 ATK? Why did you Summon such a weak monster?"
I questioned my opponent. Summoning such weak monster is such confusing move. It made me warry for some reason. She must be planning something.
"You seem confused why summoned such a weak monster."
Serena taunted me.
"Well I'll show you why! I'll equip Lunalight Black Sheep with the Equip Spell, Path of Destiny! This card will allow my monster to attack directly!"
What?! Damn it. I have no choice then.
"Lunalight Black Sheep atta-"
I decided to cut Serena off.
"I'll activate my Trap Card, Destruction Ring!"
Serena eyes widened due to her recognizing the Trap Card.
"Damn it! Your planning on mutual destruction!"
"Correct, Destruction Ring will destroy a monster that I control, then both of us will take 1000 damage!"
A ring suddenly appeared the neck of my monster, then suddenly it exploded causing a massive shockwave that caused both me and Serena to be sent flying.

My servant Olga says in surprise. Like myself, she didn't expect this type of outcome. Plus Destruction Ring? I didn't know a scuffed version of Ring of Destruction existed. Welp... You learn something new every day.
"Am I really that weak?"
I suddenly heared Yuzu mutter to herself. It seems that she's doubting her dueling skills. All according to keikaku?
Welp whatever, its time to put my moves on her. Now is the right moment.
"I could train you if your interested."
I told the bracelet girl right next to me. Yuzu in turn, turned her attention towards me. She was surprised by my offer, before it turned to disgust.
"Your planning to make a move on me aren't you?"
She asked in a wary tone. Shit, she's perceptive.
"Nope."
I lied.
"Plus I'm going to train Olga here as well."
I motioned to Olga who's was confused by what I said.
"Your going to train me? Why?"
I decided to give her a fake answer.
"I want my girls to be good at dueling."
Olga blushes the nods due to being called 'my girl'. That was cute reaction Olga, as your master I approve of that cute shit.
Yuzu on the other hand, like Olga blushes, but instead of nodding she turns her head away from me, plausibly wanting to hind her blushing face from me.
"Fine, I'll let you train me... But I'm not doing this because I like you or anything! Don't misunderstand! I'm doing this for the You Show Duel School!"
"Yes yes."
I mused. Nice, this is like killing two birds with one stone. I'll befriend Yuzu and finish Olga's [Quest]. Everything is looking up for me.
"I'm not going to let it end like this! I want a rematch!"
"Heh! I was about to say the same thing!"
Well fuck... It seems Masumi and Serena are not finished yet.

I just hope that this duel doesn't last as long as their first one. I don't want to wait for them for another 15 minutes or so.
