Hopefully y'all are going to get a lot of chapters these next couple of weeks, I am in highschool, and winter break just started for me. I'm really excited about this chapter, that's all I'm going to say to avoid any spoilers:)

Elena Pov

There was a mandatory meeting at the school for safety, It's kinda ironic being as there are so many supernatural students here. Tyler was really frustrated because Klaus had killed the hybrids and he was on Klaus's hit list, now more than ever. And on top of that Carol had barely gotten out with her life, Caroline showed up and somehow managed to talk Klaus down. Tyler, being himself, obviously was angry about her even talking to Klaus. He rushed off, clearly angry, about halfway through the assembly. When I looked up to follow him with my eyes I swear out of the corner of my eye... I saw Rebekah. But didn't Klaus dagger her?

I rubbed my eyes and looked back to see nothing. Great, I was going crazy again. Bonnie asked me if I was okay and I gave a quick response before walking in the direction where I thought I saw Rebekah. When I went through the double doors, I scanned the room. No Rebekah.

I heard sniffling around the corner so I cautiously walked around the corner. It was April. I walked over to her, and the tension disappeared.

I put a hand on her shoulder " April, are you okay?" I ask giving her a comforting look.

"Nothing... just I know you're a vampire." the tears stopped flowing, and her expression went blank. I felt another presence behind me before it went black.

I felt my eyes flutter open to see April standing in front of me. She knows. She started talking and then she mentioned Rebekah. God how couldn't I see that it was related. I took her hand and started to lead her away when Rebekah flashed in front of me. Dammit, how the hell does she have perfect timing whenever I'm involved. She compelled me to stay here. I guess I better get comfy. A few minutes later I see Rebekah flash away and come back dragging Caroline by the crook of her elbow and shoving her down into the chair next to me. When she leaves, Caroline explains how Stefan had called and said that I was trapped at the highschool and decided to try and dagger Rebekah. Clearly it failed because about two minutes later Stefan was also being shoved into the chair next to me.

Kol Pov

Bekah was back from the dead, well as dead as you can be, being a daggered thousand year old vampire. For whatever reason she asked me to do her a favor. I am currently walking up the steps of a college building to get a curly haired noodle. I coincidentally walked past the Bennett witch, apparently she doesn't remember me, because she gave me a smile. I walked up to the door she just exited and grabbed the man, with little stuggle and hopped out the window. I heard the witch run back to the office. I guess she remembered me now. I threw the man into the back of my car and drove to the highschool. I heard Bekah's raised voice " Now why in the bloody hell would he do that?" from what seemed to be the school library and dragged this Shane guy over to it before opening the door and poking my head through.

Elena Pov

Hadn't Rebekah already gotten her revenge on me, she killed me after all. What the hell could she possibly want now?

She was asking about the cure when suddenly her focus shifted to me and Stefan. "They broke up, okay" Caroline had proclaimed into the silence. She seemed to be put off by that, I mean we were broke up before she was daggered, maybe she just didn't know?

"Why?" she compelled Stefan, and he began to tell her about how I couldn't turn out like Katherine, stringing both brothers around until I sorted out my feelings.

She squinted her eyes slightly " There's more, tell me." she commanded. Stefan sighed at looked her in the eye " She's been different lately, she'll disappear for hours at a time without answering her phone." he paused, looking over at me shortly " She said she was staying at Ric's old apartment, but when I went there the other day, none of her things were there and I could tell nobody had lived there for weeks if not months." he finished.

Dammit I knew someone would catch on but I didn't think it would be this soon. Rebekah backed up from the table, gave a small chuckle and turned her focus to me, her smile widening.

"My, my Elena, what are you hiding?" she smirked as she took two swift steps over to me and leaned down to my eye level. I could tell that she was enjoying this way more than she should be, although she was about to find out about Kol letting me stay at the mansion. I wasn't concerned about her knowing, but if my friends knew they would just become even more restricting.

"Elena, where have you been staying for the past few weeks?" she gave me a wicked smile. I didn't even get a chance to think about my answer before I blurted it out.

"With Kol, at the mansion." I said simply, as I looked over to Stefan and Caroline to see their disapproving stares, and dumbfounded looks.

Her smile disappeared and I could sense the anger radiating within her. "Now why in the bloody hell would he do that?" she almost screamed.

I didn't have a chance to answer her because I heard the creak of the library door and saw Kol's head poke into the room and make eye contact with ome. I could've sworn I saw his features soften for a split second, before I saw anger flash in his eyes.

Before he could get a word in Rebekah looked over her shoulder " Well speak of the devil, and the devil may come." She stormed over to him and I could see that she was going to try to challenge him but he was already pinning her against the wall.

"Now, now little sister, what's the meaning of this?" he said with the raise of his eyebrow, he reminded me of Klaus now more than ever.

"And why do you care Kol?" she choked out with a tilt of her head the pointed to me " Because of her? Haven't you learned for Nik and 'Lijah, all who have her face are nothing but trouble." she finished and he loosened his grip, letting her feet drop back down to the floor. And then he snapped her neck.

After Stefan had compelled April to forget about the supernatural, I had convinced him and Caroline to let me go. Then there was the problem about professor Shane. We found him running away from the school and cornered him. I guess now was a better time than any for a QA.

We were in the forest, me and Kol standing while he sat down on a nearby tree stump.

"You're human, what do you want with the cure anyways?" I ask, my brows furrowed.

"That's the beauty of it, I don't want the cure, I just want Silas." he said with a smile. It took me a moment to remember the name from the occult lesson we walked in on when we all first met. I felt Kol become tense before flashing over to him and throwing him up against a tree.

"No, what do you know of Silas?" he yelled. I flashed over to him begging him with my eyes not to kill him. His eyes softened but his grip didn't loosen. Shane went on to say that Silas is buried with the cure and that he was the first immortal being. Kol seemed pretty convinced that he would bring death upon all vampires. I barely convinced him to let Shane leave with his life. I guess I had finally dealt with the crazy Kol Mikaelson that everyone talks about, but somehow I knew that he could have been way worse if he wanted to be.

We got back into his car and began the drive back to the mansion. Out of nowhere I chuckled and he looked up with a smile on his lips.

"What?" he asks, and I stop twiddling my fingers, and shake my head. "Nothing it's just you really have a bad habit of saving me." and give him a genuine smile, which he returns.

" Well darling, I just can't help but be the white knight to a damsel." he says with a smirk and a glance in my direction. At that I chuckle and shake my head.

"Actually scratch that, dark knight sounds much more fitting, and I think you'd be the princess." he said with a smile.

I look up at him with a small smile " Hmm, the dark night and the princess." I muse "sounds about right" I chuckle and we drift into a comfortable silence before arriving at the mansion and settling into our separate rooms.

I roll my head as I drop my clothes to the floor and hop into the shower to melt away the stress, that has become my life. When I get out I wrap a towel around my body and check my phone to see messages from all my friends, a few of which deeply disturb me.

I look at my texts from Damon from about an hour ago. He said even though he wants to murder me for making such a careless decision, that "my plan is genius".

What plan? I scroll more and freeze. Damon thinks that I planned on befriending Kol so that we can get another original onto the chopping block.

I start to try and correct him when I see the recent messages.

Oh my God, I'm going to kill Damon

Hey I know it's been like a week since I last posted but I swear I'm still just as interested in the story as you are. The next chapter is going to have the other half of the episode, where the plan to kill the newly turned vamps goes wrong, idk if that's gonna be the whole chapter though yet. Anyways the day that I'm writing/ posting this is Christmas day, so Merry Christmas y'all!

P.S I'm so happy 2020 is almost over lol.
