Back with Sonic and Amy, they were sitting on a rooftop in Chun-Nan with Omega in normal form sitting behind them "It's all so magical" Amy said with Sonic replying with a smile "Yeah". But then Amy decided to get it out in the open "It's a shame Tails had to miss this" "Nah, he hates fireworks, and he prefers flying himse… Oh no" "How you are still alive is something I will never understand, flesh bag". Sonic ignored Omega then Amy took his turban "It is you, I knew it. Why would you lie? Did you think I was stupid? That I wouldn't figure it out?". Sonic was trying to think of something "I didn't want you to know" "Who are you? Tell me the truth" "Okay, the truth is... the truth is that I sometimes dress as a commoner, to escape the pressures of palace life. But I really am a prince" "Well done. Dig yourself deeper, always the best way to escape". Omega was once again ignored and Amy then realised something "I thought you were dead. Infinite told us you were executed" Sonic was surprised to hear this "Infinite? I didn't meet him till earlier today". "Then why would he tell us that and furthermore why didn't you just tell me who you were?". Sonic actually smiled at this "Well, you know, royalty going out into a city in disguise. Sounds a bit strange, doesn't it?" he said with the feather of his turban falling. Amy could tell what he was getting at and put the feather back up properly "Not that strange" she playfully nudges him with her arm.
They were back at the balcony, Amy stepped off Omega and then she looked back at Sonic "Goodnight, my handsome prince" "Sleep well, Princess". Sonic wasn't sure if he should kiss her, but Omega knew what he had to do and pushed Sonic slightly forward causing them to kiss on the lips. Sonic was so happy even Omega casually saying "Your welcome" didn't ruin the moment. Eventually they stopped, and Amy started walking back inside but gave Sonic a nice smile before disappearing. Sonic was so happy that he fell back onto Omega who slowly descended back to the courtyard. "For the first time in my life, things are starting to go right" suddenly the palace guards grabbed Sonic and tied his arms "What? Tails! Tails!" but he then saw Tails knocked out on the ground. Omega tried to stop them but one of them was able to stun him with an electric stick. Sonic had a cloth shoved in his mouth, he then saw Infinite and Jet in front of him. "I'm afraid you've worn out your welcome, Prince Sanic" he then looked at the guards "This man was attempting to kill the princess. Make sure he pays with his life" they both walked away, Sonic tried to struggle but was hit over the head and the next thing he knew he was falling with something heavy tied to his legs and then a splash.
Sonic was dragged to the bottom of the sea, but the ruby fell out of his turban releasing Shadow and Knuckles. "Oh no, Sonic listen we can't help you, only Silver can. You need to rub the ruby, so it'll call him, hurry!" Shadow said with a lot of fear in his voice. Sonic struggled but the weight was to heavy and he passed out. Knuckles pretended to accidently hit the ruby into Sonics hands "oops". Silver then appeared "Did you guys have to call me now? She's going to be wondering where… What!?" Knuckles and Shadow both pointed behind him and he finally saw Sonic. "OH, MY GOD! Sonic you can't cheat out of this one. I can only save you if it's a wish, so say it. Say 'Silver I wish for you to save my life' okay? COME ON SONIC!" Sonic did not respond. "Oh, fine that's good enough" he then turns into a submarine, picks up Sonic and makes his way to dryland with Shadow and Knuckles right behind them. They were at the top of the cliff and Sonic wakes up coughing up water "And Tails wonders why drowning is my worst fear". "Don't scare us like that" said Silver concerned. Sonic looked at the three genies "Guys, listen, I um… Well thanks" the four of them had a group hug with Shadow saying "Well, even I have to admit we're getting fond of you kid" with Knuckles adding "Not that we want to start picking up curtains or anything" they all flew back to Shamar.
Amy was in her room brushing her hair humming 'A Whole New World' when Blaze entered "Do you know where Silver is?" "Who's Silver?" Blaze looked disappointed "Never mind". Before Amy could ask, Fang all of a sudden entered "Your highness, are you alright?" the three of them stared confusingly at each other "….I'm fine Fang. Why, what's the matter?" "One of the guards told me you were in danger?". Before Amy could question this, the king entered in a trance state "Dad, do you know what's going on?" "No worries, Amy. I have found you a husband, you shall marry Infinite" the door opened to reveal Infinite and Jet. Everyone gasped at this as Infinite walked up to Amy and took her hand "Your speechless, I see. A good quality in a wife" Amy moved away from him "I'd never marry you. Dad. I chose Prince Sonic" "Well, I'm sorry to say this but Prince Sonic left" Infinite replied.
"You better check again, Infinite" Sonic was now standing at the entrance with Silver who saw Blaze and gave her a nervous wave. "How in the he…Um, I mean, oh, good, he's back" Jet said in surprise wondering how Sonic could possibly be alive "Tell them the truth, Infinite. You tried to have me killed". Infinite seemed rather calm "Oh, what ridiculous nonsense, your majesty. He's obviously lying" he said while putting his hand with the ring on the Kings shoulder which both Sonic and Fang noticed. "Yes, he's obviously lying. Fang take him away" the king said, Fang hesitantly began to advance on Sonic but Silver got in between them "Listen to me. Infinite lied to the guards that Sonic was trying to kill the princess". Fang realised that's why he was told she was in danger "Fang, kill him" the king said which confirmed for Amy that he wasn't in his right mind "Dad, what's wrong with you!?" she said as she shook him by the shoulders. Fang and Sonic both looked at each other and said in unison "The ring" they both then immediately ran at Infinite, pushing him against the wall. Sonic grabbed his hand and bashed it against the stone, smashing the ring. This knocked the King out of his trance "Huh- what?". Sonic then threw the now broken ring to the king "Your highness, Infinite has been controlling you with this" the king was not happy with this news "Infinite, you Traitor!" Infinite began to back way "Your majesty, if you would allow me to explain".
The king began calling for more guards as Sonic along with Blaze, Fang and Silver began to advance on Infinite and Jet "Well, that's it. We're dead, I mean there's no way of avoiding it, we're so dead" he said sarcastically but Infinite then notice that in Sonics turban lied a ruby but he and Jet were then get grabbed by two guards. Infinite however pulled out a vile of red liquid "This is not over yet, hedgehog!" he then throws it to the ground creating a burst of red smoke and when it clears they are gone. The guard leave to try and find him. "I can't believe it, Infinite my most trusted advisor. How long has he been controlling me?" the King asked Fang who looked disappointed in himself "I'm not sure. Forgive me, your highness. I should have seen it earlier".
The King however smiled at his captain of the guards "Fang, you couldn't have known. Infinite is a smart one. You are blameless and your years of defending my family prove that". Fang was happy to receive such recognition from his king and he started walking past Blaze who was helping up Silver. "Hello again. What happened earlier? I turn around and you were just gone" "Oh, um… I saw my prince being attacked by the guards and I had to help him… I even saved his life" Silver looked proud of himself. Fang on hearing this began walking to Sonic and Amy who were hugging, he didn't hear the rest of the conversation between Silver and Blaze. "I would like to apologies on behalf of my guards. There loyalty can sometimes cloud their judgement" Sonic thought it was very weird getting an apology from the guy that's been chasing him for years "It's alright" was all he could say. Fang seeing the two together was able to work out what's happening "I take it you have finally found a husband your majesty?" Amy nodded, and Fang smirked at Sonic. "Well, prince, I just want you to know that I have watched this one grow from since she was a child. So if you hurt her, I will kill you" he said this rather casually "Same from me!" Blaze said across the room. Amy rolled her eyes, this was clearly not the first time either of them have used that threat. The king was listening to this conversation and finally came forward looking excited "You've chosen a husband? Haha, praise Gaia. My boy I could kiss you. I won't obviously I'll leave that to-. Nevermind you will be wed at once and then my boy; you will become King". "King?" Sonic was excited to hear this, but it very quickly turned to concern "Yes, a fine upstanding fellow like yourself with a strong moral character is exactly what Shamar needs".
