As Alexis is sitting in a room drawing while Ikki and Meelo are playing with Pabu they are soon joined by Bumi as he runs in.
"You're not gonna believe what just happened. Where's your father?" Bumi asks excitedly.
"Dad!" Ikki shouts loudly as Tenzin runs in.
"What is it? What's wrong?" Tenzin asks worriedly.
"The most amazing, wondrous, fantastical thing just occurred. Okay Bum-Ju and I had a little fight. I made him this sweater and he didn't seem to like it and I'll admit it might need work. But it was my first attempt at knitting so I was a little hurt." Bumi says as Tenzin looks at him.
"Hilarious. Time for dinner everyone." Tenzin says as the group begins walking.
"No check this out. I can airbend. Yeah wait seriously. I was doing it. No hold on. I just uh maybe if I.. No." Bumi says as he tries to airbend to no avail.
*Timeskip*
"I swear I'm not making it up." Bumi says as he is waving his arms around at the table.
"Stop waving your arms around at the table. It's not funny anymore." Tenzin says angrily as he looks at Bumi.
"It's not a joke." Bumi says as Asami and Korra walk in.
"What's up with him?" Korra asks as she looks at Bumi.
"Bumi says he airbended earlier but he can't now. Oh and I guess he's not very good at knitting either. I gotta say I love being a part of this family. You got the grumpy dad, the wacky uncle, the put-upon mom, crazy kids. Well that's just great. Am I right?" Bolin asks as he looks at Alexis who doesn't look at him.
"Mhm? Oh yeah. Sure. Whatever." Alexis says coldly as Bolin looks at her sadly while she keeps eating.
"Where's Mako?" Asami asks as she doesn't see Mako in the room.
"Oh you mean the brooding teenager? He's staying in the police station." Bolin says as Korra looks at him.
"Still?" Korra asks.
"I told him Tenzin invited us to stay here since our apartment is a vine habitat now, but, he said he had to focus on work." Bolin says.
"Oh did you see that? I think the napkin moved." Bumi says as Kya looks at him.
"You blew on it." Kya says annoyedly.
"Wait! Maybe I can only do it when my life is in danger. Bolin bend a giant boulder at me." Bumi says as Alexis looks at him.
"Yeah I don't think that's a good idea." Bolin says.
"If you're going to be bending giant boulders you can do it outside." Pema says irritatedly.
"No one is bending giant boulders!" Tenzin shouts.
"Look alive Uncle Bumi!" Meelo says as he throws a plate at Bumi before Bumi catches the plate in a ball of air.
"I told you!" Bumi says excitedly as everyone looks at him in surprise.
"Unbelievable. You're actually an airbender." Tenzin says in shock.
"Wait util I tell Mom. She's gonna love this." Bumi says as he then loses control of his bending and the plate smashes onto the table and shatters.
*Timeskip*
"Oh come on Alexis. You can't be mad at me forever." Bolin says as he is following Alexis around the temple.
"Leave me alone Bolin." Alexis says angrily.
"Please Alexis. I hate you not talking to me or hanging out with me anymore. I miss you." Bolin says sadly.
"Well you should of thought of that before you compared me to Korra. Besides I'm not angry at you I am mad at myself. I'm angry because I was the idiot who said something to begin with now for the last time leave me alone." Alexis says angrily as Korra and Asami come over.
"Alexis, Bolin we're headed into the city. Wanna come with us?" Korra asks.
"I'm actually trying to see if Alexis would talk with me about something so I'm gonna have to say no." Bolin says as Alexis looks at him angrily.
"No our conversation is done. But to answer you Korra I do not wish to go. I just want to be alone right now." Alexis says as she angrily walks off.

Later As Alexis is sitting by a river she soon hears someone walking over and sees Tenzin.
"So here's where you've been getting off to. I wanted to check with you. You've seemed a little unhappy lately." Tenzin says as he sits beside Alexis.
"I'm fine Tenzin." Alexis says.
"Are you sure? Are you sure you're not angry. At a certain earthbender?" Tenzin says as Alexis looks at him in surprise.
"How did you know?" Alexis asks.
"Well you haven't exactly been secretive about it." Tenzin says as Alexis looks down.
"I'm not so much angry at him as I am myself. I feel like an idiot for telling him how I felt with how he reacted. I knew it was a bad idea and I did it anyway. I'm mostly angry at him for comparing me to another girl." Alexis says sadly.
"Yes that can be hard but you shouldn't hold onto this anger. If you are ever to be a complete master of water like my mother you will have to learn to change as your life changes and accept that change. Water is the element of change but if something is blocking it then it can not flow properly the way it should." Tenzin says.
"I just don't know how to react Tenzin." Alexis says as Tenzin sighs and stands up.
"Well if I was you I would let it go. You did what you did and it's in the past. Move past it and become stronger from it." Tenzin says as he leaves before Alexis hears footsteps assuming Tenzin has come back over.
"Alexis.." A voice says as Alexis realizes it is Bolin.
"Now what do you want Bolin?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"I.. no.. we need to talk. Now." Bolin says sternly.
"You are the most persistent human being I have ever met." Alexis says as Bolin sits beside her.
"And you're the most stubborn girl I've ever met but that's beside the point." Bolin says.
"Just get it over with Bolin." Alexis says coldly.
"Look I know you're angry but I wanted you to know I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what I said. I don't think of you as Korra." Bolin says as he looks down ashamedly.
"Then why did you say it because that's how it come off." Alexis snaps.
"I know and I wish I hadn't. Look I'm really idiotic when it comes to relationships. I was just scared that I would get hurt again." Bolin says as he looks at Alexis.
"I wouldn't of hurt you." Alexis says as she doesn't look at Bolin.
"I know but I was scared. You are an amazing person and the truth is I do like you back. I lied when I said I was acting. I wasn't. I just didn't know how to tell you. I said what I did because I was scared to lose you but I lost you anyway. I want you back in my life. Even if it's only as a friend." Bolin says as Alexis looks at him.
"I'm not-" Alexis then gets cut off as Bolin kisses her on the lips before pulling away.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is will you be my girlfriend? I promise I will do anything and everything to make up for what I said. Please can you give me a chance?" Bolin asks.
"I think I can let you back in my life Bolin.." Alexis says as Bolin smiles.
"Really?" Bolin asks hopefully.
"But it's as a friend. I'm just not sure if I want you as a boyfriend right now. Just give me a bit to think about it.." Alexis says.
"Alright. But as long as you're talking to me again I can wait for as long as you need." Bolin says as he stands up.
"Thank you.." Alexis says as she stands up.
"Do you uh want to uh raid the kitchen with me?" Bolin asks shyly causing Alexis to chuckle slightly.
"Didn't you have enough for breakfast?" Alexis asks as Bolin smiles.
"Not really. I'm still a bit hungry." Bolin says happily causing Alexis to smile and shake her head.
"Sure Bolin. I'll make us some noodles or something." Alexis says as Bolin hugs her.
"Oh how I've missed your cooking. Most amazing girl ever." Bolin says as he pulls away from Alexis.
"Flattery will get you nowhere." Alexis says as she begins walking with Bolin.
"But I can try." Bolin says as Alexis smiles slightly.
*Timeskip*
"Whoa. There is a airbender on the bridge." Alexis says as the group arrives where Mako and Lin are.
"Come down immediately or we will be forced to take action." Lin says through a megaphone as metalbenders attack the boy before he knocks them off the bridge.
"Korra see if you can do anything." Alexis says as metalbenders get back on the ground safely.
"Trust me I'm going to." Korra says as she goes up to the boy on the bridge before she and the man fall only for Korra to catch them as Tenzin and Alexis go over.
"Daw this is Tenzin. He is going to help you. The girl with him is my friend Alexis." Korra says kindly as Alexis and Tenzin bow to Daw.
"It is absolutely my pleasure to meet you Daw. I have never met a new airbender before. Well at least not one whose diaper I didn't have to change." Tenzin says.
"Actually I just fell off a bridge so I could use a fresh diaper right about now." Daw says.
"I could of gone without hearing that." Alexis says in disgust.
"So is this the deal? We have crisis every other day now thanks to you." Raiko says as he comes over.
"Listen I know you're having a tough time getting used to these changes and I'm sorry for that but you and everyone else are going to have to learn live with it. The vines and the spirits are here to stay." Korra says as she looks at Raiko.
"Well you know who's not here to stay? You! I order you to leave this city. You've caused nothing but trouble since you arrived." Raiko says as the others gasp at the decision.
"You can't do that! Korra has done more for this city than most have." Alexis says angrily.
"It's okay Alexis. Don't worry I was already leaving." Korra says as she and Raiko walk away from each other.
"Korra?" Alexis asks as she goes over to Korra with Tenzin.
"I can see my path now. There are new airbenders out there and I'm going to find them and rebuild the Air Nation." Korra says.
"Don't think I'm not going with you. It's so exciting. Who knows who's out there now. Discovering the gift of airbending for the first time?" Tenzin asks.
"And I'm going with you too. I've came this far with you and I'm not leaving now." Alexis says as Korra smiles.
