Welcome Back! This is a fun one! Shawn and Juliet are still keeping the relationship secret here. (3ish months)
SBPD
Shawn walked in the SBPD wearing a 3-piece suit and walked straight for Juliet's desk.
Juliet noticed someone standing in front of her and she looked up.
"Shawn?" Juliet asked.
"Hi Jules." Shawn said.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to sweep you off your feet and take you on a date."
"Shawn…"
Shawn bent down next to Juliet and whispered in her ear, "Come on. It's Saturday night and I haven't seen you all week."
Juliet smiled and nodded.
Shawn stood back up and smiled.
"Would you like to go to your apartment and get dressed first?" Shawn asked.
Juliet nodded.
Juliet got her stuff ready and shut her computer down and walked out the station with Shawn behind her.
Shawn got on his bike and followed Juliet to her apartment.
They both arrived at the same time.
Shawn took off his helmet and revealed his helmet hair.
Juliet looked next to her and saw Shawn's hair and chuckled.
"Something funny?" Shawn asked.
"Your hair." Juliet said.
"Well good thing I have hair gel here."
Juliet started walking to her apartment and Shawn was in tow.
They walked inside and Shawn hugged Juliet.
"I missed you this week." Shawn said.
Juliet leaned her head back to look at Shawn, "I know. I missed you, too."
Shawn bent down and kissed Juliet.
Juliet wrapped her arms around Shawn's neck and kissed him back.
They pulled away and Juliet walked to her bedroom and started to find stuff to wear tonight.
Shawn followed her and talked to her from the bedroom.
"So, why are you all dressed?" Juliet asked from her closet.
"It's Saturday night and I wanted to take you out to eat." Shawn said.
"Wait, you're dressed up…are we going to Mario's?"
Shawn got up and met Juliet at the door of her closet.
Shawn saw Juliet undressing, "Yeah."
"We've never been there as a couple." Juliet said.
"I know. I thought it's was overdue."
Juliet dropped her clothes she just took off and went up to Shawn and kissed him.
"Thank you." Juliet said.
"What did I do?" Shawn asked.
"You're the best boyfriend ever."
"You're the best girlfriend ever."
Juliet smiled and kissed Shawn one more time.
Shawn pulled away, "Juliet…you better stop right now."
Juliet pulled away and looked Shawn up and down and smiled, "Fine, go watch TV."
Shawn smiled and went to the living room to watch TV.
10 minutes later, Juliet came down the hall dressed and her hair in loose curls.
Shawn heard Juliet's heels coming down the hallway, he got up and met her halfway.
"I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world." Shawn stated.
"Really? This outfit was kind of iffy." Juliet said.
"Baby, it's perfect."
Juliet walked up to Shawn and kissed him.
"Go put some gel in your hair while I get my stuff ready." Juliet said.
Shawn went into the bathroom and fixed his hair and met Juliet at the door.
They exited Juliet's apartment and Juliet turned around to lock it up.
Shawn took Juliet's hand and they walked to Juliet's car. Juliet got to her car door and Shawn opened it for her.
"Thank you." Juliet said.
Shawn smiled and shut it and went to the passenger seat.
Juliet left her apartment's parking lot and headed to Mario's.
15 minutes later, Juliet pulled into the semi-full parking lot of Mario's and was able to find a spot a few spots down from the front.
Shawn got out and ran to her side of the car and opened up the door for her.
"You're being very chivalrous tonight. What's up your sleeve, Spencer?" Juliet asked.
"Don't ask questions." Shawn said.
Juliet took his hand and they walked into the restaurant.
As soon as they walked into the restaurant, they were greeted by the hostess.
"Welcome to Mario's. How many?" the hostess asked.
"2." Shawn answered.
The hostess grabbed 2 menus and guided them to an empty table.
Shawn and Juliet sat down at the table.
"Your waiter will be right with you." the hostess said.
"Thank you." Juliet said.
They looked at their menus and immediately decided on what they wanted.
Shawn closed his menu and put it to the side and took a sip of his water.
"You're quiet." Juliet said.
"Yeah, I'm enjoying the moment." Shawn said.
"Can we go for a walk on the beach after this?"
"How'd you know I planned that?"
"I didn't."
"Well, after here, I was going to drive to the boardwalk, we were going to get some ice cream and go for a walk on the beach."
"Do you have sandals?"
"You and I both have a pair in the back of your car."
Juliet smiled and grabbed Shawn's hand, "Thank you for tonight."
"I wish I could've seen you more this week."
"I know, but I know you want to keep us on the down low for now. I know if I would've called you to the station by yourself, I wouldn't be able to stop holding your hand."
"I know you are ready to scream it from the rooftops, but I wanted to wait a little bit before I knew we were going to get serious."
"3 months is serious to you?"
"Yeah. I mean you're it, Jules."
Juliet's hand went to her chest, "Shawn, do you mean that?"
"I do Jules."
Juliet waved her hand in front of her face to stop from crying.
The waiter came and took their order and brought their drinks.
25 minutes later the food was ready and the waiter brought them their food.
Shawn and Juliet enjoyed their meal.
45 minutes later Shawn stretched, "You ready?"
Juliet nodded.
Shawn put a tip down and then went and paid at the front.
"Jules, keys." Shawn said.
Juliet handed Shawn her car keys and they got in the car and drove to the boardwalk.
Shawn pulled up close to the boardwalk and went and grabbed their sandals from the back seat.
Juliet opened her door and stepped into her sandals and saw Shawn putting his on.
Shawn stood upright and grabbed Juliet's hand and went to the ice cream shop.
Juliet ordered first and then Shawn.
They got their ice cream and set off for a walk on the beach.
"It's so pretty tonight." Juliet said.
"It is. It's been the perfect date." Shawn said.
"You say that about every date."
"I mean it about this one."
"What do you mean?"
Shawn threw away their trash. He went up to Juliet and grabbed her hand and kept walking.
"How is this date perfect?" Juliet asked.
"Juliet, you're my best friend. I've liked you for years, but now, I'm in love with you. I can't imagine without you in my life. I don't want to know what it feels like either. I've never been in love before. When we were apart this week, I felt like my other half was missing, you're that other half. Sweetheart, I know we've only been dating 3 months, but for me, you're it. You're my girl. Is love supposed to hurt this much?"
Juliet looked up at Shawn with tears in her eyes, "I love you too. You're my forever, Shawn."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I know things about you that you don't know I know, but after I found out, I saw you put all the pieces together and all my anger was replaced with respect. You are very smart, Shawn. I would be a fool to let you get away."
"Jules…"
"Don't worry, it's just between us."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"But you never answered my question."
"What question?"
"Is love supposed to hurt this much?"
"It depends on who the person is. But I felt the same way when we didn't see each other this week."
Shawn pulled Juliet into a hug.
"You live on the other side of town, I was thinking about this the other night, I want you closer. Not just to me, but to work." Juliet said.
"How close do you want me?" Shawn asked.
"You sleeping next to me every night."
"Jules are you asking me what I think you're asking me?"
"What do you think I'm asking you?"
"Do you want to live together?"
"I do. I can't stand it, not being with you. It sucks."
Shawn took Juliet's hand and started walking again, "It does suck, but we don't have to worry about that anymore."
"When is your lease up?"
"Next month."
"Do you want to move next weekend?"
"That sounds amazing. Should I put my furniture and stuff in storage?"
"It's up to you."
Shawn turned around and they headed back to the car.
They got back to the car and Juliet took her keys from Shawn.
Juliet drove them home and they got out and went inside.
"Are you staying the night?" Juliet asked.
"Yeah. I'm not just going to say a sappy speech and leave you." Shawn said.
"It was sappy, but I loved it."
"I love you."
"Now, we're home. What do you want to do?"
"I can think of one or two things."
"And what would those be?"
Juliet started to undo Shawn's tie and then removed his waistcoat.
Shawn started to unzip Juliet's dress.
Shawn stood up and held out his hand for Juliet to take.
Juliet lead them to the bedroom and shut the door for the night.
