"Chief? May I speak to you?" Patsy found B'Elanna as she reported for duty. Nodding, B'Elanna led Patsy to her office.
"What can I do for you?" B'Elanna asked as they sat at the desk. Patsy was chewing on her lip.
"As you know, Seven took me to Sickbay yesterday after I went faint. When The Doctor examined me, it was discovered that I'm pregnant" Patsy said quietly.
"Congratulations Patsy" B'Elanna replied. They went on to discuss her duties going forward. There were things it would be un-safe for her to do now, and things she would find more difficult to do as her pregnancy progressed.

"Permission to enter the Bridge, Sir?" Patsy asked, stepping out the TurboLift a few hours later.
"Granted, Ensign" Captain Jepson replied.
"May Lieutenant Kim and I speak to you, Sir? In private?"
"Of course." He led the way to his Ready Room.
"Please, take a seat" Jepson said. "Would you like a drink?" They both declined.
"I don't really know how to say this so, I'm just going to say it" Patsy said. "I recently found out that I'm pregnant, Sir."
"Congratulations, Ensign" Jepson replied. He then addressed Harry. "I assume you are the father, Lieutenant?"
"I am, Sir. The other thing we wish to discuss is, with this news, we would like to share quarters" Harry said, explaining their plan.
"Permission granted" Jepson said, smiling, "and congratulations again."
"Thank you, Sir" the couple replied. He promised to keep the news to himself unless they told him otherwise.
Exiting the Ready Room, Harry walked Patsy to the TurboLift. He quickly kissed her before she stepped into the TurboLift. She smiled as made her way back to Engineering.

A few days later, Tom and B'Elanna, and Chakotay and Seven, had been roped in to help with moving both Harry's and Lexa's belongings. Luckily, the rooms weren't on the opposite sides of the ship to each other and it hadn't taken long to move the various boxes of belongings to where they needed to be.
All the boxes moved, it was time to unpack. Harry had placed a few photos on the side in the lounge, next to the photos of Patsy's family. His saxophone went in the corner of the lounge area with the music stand next to it, the sheet music going on the shelf with Patsy's novels.
Patsy was helping Harry unpack by hanging his clothes in the closet. As she did that, she found a couple of Lexa's tops that she had borrowed at some point but forgot to return. Lexa was busy unpacking when Patsy arrived at the quarters that used to be Harry's to return them. It was a little surreal, seeing Lexa's photos were on the sides where Harry's used to be, the Bat'leth now displayed on the wall, different throws on the couch.
