2:40 am
Killian had been resting silently in the water. That scared Emma because he looked as if he died. It was because his skin was so cold.
Emma saw Regina, who looked the exact same as Killian now. "Y-you'll s-s-see Henry again. I h-have h-hope." There was a crack in her voice as she spoke.
Regina had stopped shivering a while back, a few minutes after Killian stopped. Regina said calmly, eyes closed and mouth barely moving. "I won't see Henry again."
"D-don't say t-that."
"It's true. I've been in this water too long. Hook and I both have." Regina paused and then opened her eyes to see Emma. "But like Hook said, you can live on. I want you to promise me, Emma." She paused again to get her strength up to say some more words. They only came out as a whisper. "I want you to promise me that you will find Henry and that you will take care of him for me. Promise me that the two of you will be a family when you do survive."
"I m-might not survive."
"Yes you will. You'll do what I can't and see Henry again. He won't be an orphan. He will have you. You will find him and tell him I love him more than anything." Tears flowed down their cold cheeks. "Promise me now, Emma. And never break that promise."
"I promise."
Minutes pass and Emma was still out of the water and holding onto Killian's hand. She was practically asleep when a small boat was coming near them. The light of the boat caused her to open her eyes. She knew by the sound of a voice, it had to be David. Her father was alive and searching for her. "Is anyone alive out there? Can anyone hear me?" He kept repeating himself. She softly smiled and then turned to Killian and Regina, who were side by side. Her smile got bigger when she recognized a second voice which was her son, Henry.
She first tapped Killian's shoulder. "Hook. My father is here to pick us up." She told him as she shook his hand. "Killian." She repeated his name. "Hook!" Her voice got louder as she started to get scared for him.
Then she noticed absolutely no one was screaming much less even moving. Everyone in the water was absolutely still, every single one was dead. She turned her head back to Killian and Regina. Both were still like the rest. Sadness filled her. "Killian. Come on." Nothing. No response at all. Her true love couldn't be dead. She refused to believe it.
She looked to Regina this time. "A boat's here. Our son's here. Henry is on the boat, Regina." Emma said, shedding tears.
She stared back at Killian. "A boat's here to take us home. Please! Killian! I love you!" She held her hand tight with his as she rested there, crying. She felt like not moving on. Not living anymore. She wanted so badly to die in the ocean beside them. All she wanted was to have them back. She wanted them all to be in Storybrooke as a family again, where they could be safe. But Regina and Killian were gone now. Killian, her true love was dead. She didn't feel like living anymore. The grief was so heartwrenching. She closed her eyes as she cligged to Killian's hand and let the boat pass.
All of a sudden the memories came back to her. She told Killian that no matter what happened she would be strong and that she would survive. That she wouldn't give up, no matter what happened. Even if that meant, everyone had died. She promised Regina that she would raise Henry for her. She promised to tell Henry that Regina loved him more than anything. She promised to be a mother now that Regina couldn't. "Come back."
Emma opened her eyes and then leaned upward. "Come back." She said in a soft cracking voice. "Come back. Come back." She kept repeating. She then kissed Killian's cheek. "I love you so much, Killain. I promise I'll survive." Emma wept when she pushed him off the board as he sank into the ocean.
She touched Regina's hand, as she gazed at her. "I promise I will take care of Henry, Regina." She whispered. She almost let her go until she realized Regina had to be alive. She felt a weak pulse in her hand and sensed that she was slightly breathing. She was unconscious but alive. She tried her best to push her onto the floating door. She knew that she had to get the boat's attention for both her and Regina's sake now.
She pushed herself off the board and swam as fast as she could to a dead officer who still had a whistle in his mouth. She took it and blew the whistle until she could see the boat coming back for her. "Come about!" An officer screamed from the boat. The lifeboat turned her direction and shined their light on her.
"Emma!" Her father was shocked that she was in the water but also relieved his daughter was alive. His wife had died, but atleast his daughter was still alive.
Henry screamed at his mother. "Mom!"
They grabbed Emma out of the water as quick as they could. Emma directed them to go find Regina, so they did the same with Regina.
Regina and Emma were now wrapped up in blankets on the boat. Regina was still uncousious but her breathing and pulse started to return to normal. They made it to another ship the next morning, the Carpathia. From there they went to New York City. Emma, Regina, David, and Henry were glad to finally be on land. They were so heartbroken though, that Rumplestiltskin, Belle, Zelena, Snow, and Hook lost their lives on the Titanic.
