Still at Meyer Vet Clinic
{Peyton}We just finished eating and now we are just sitting on the picnic blanket talking, so Rowan is this our first date or does this not count as a first date?
{Rowan}Do you want this to count as our first date or do you want this Saturday to be our first date?

{Peyton}Well let me tell you Rowan you are very beautiful and I couldn't get you off my mind at all that night after the party, I leaned in to kiss Rowan and she was to when we heard a small bark I laugh and smile at Rowan and get up I look at the puppy well look at you, I check the puppy and make sure it's healing up nicely your healing up very nicely yes you are you good little puppy I pet the puppy's head

{Peyton}I look at Rowan she's doing better she's healing up nicely I pick up the puppy now let's see if she can walk I walk over to the picnic blanket I have on the floor and sit on it then I put the puppy on the floor to see if she can walk, come on baby girl walk you can do it yes you can I look over at Rowan and she's standing by the exam table hey Rowan why don't you come over to the end of the blanket I want to try something she smiles and walks over to the end of the blanket OK now call the puppy to you
{Rowan}Come here baby girl come here she don't move so I look at Peyton, Peyton why isn't she walking?
{Peyton}I don't know but I'm going to find out I reach over and pick up the puppy and put her back on the exam table Rowan can you get me that little portable x-ray machine please? She nods and hands me the little portable x-ray machine alright baby girl let's see why you can't walk I start the x-ray and what I seen on the x-ray pissed me off
{Rowan}What Peyton what did you see in the x-ray?
{Peyton}Not only does she have cuts all over her body she also has 4 broken legs, somebody really wanted to hurt this poor precious little puppy, I look at the puppy and pet her head it's OK baby girl I'll fix you up good as new
{Rowan}What are you going to do?
{Peyton}Well she's already got a cone on her head so she can't lick her wounds so now I'm going to put her little legs in casts I was about to wrap up her legs in the casts when the bell over the door chimed signalling that someone came in I look at Rowan stay with the puppy I'll be right back, she nods and I walk to the front I look at the person that walked and to my utmost disgust it was Marcy, Marcy what the hell are you doing here?
{Marcy}Well I did help you get this place up and running it's part my place too
{Peyton}You don't have any steaks in this place this place was all my doing I was the one that went to school to be a veterinarian I was the one that got a veterinarian degree and I was the one that opened this place not you now if you'll excuse me I have a patient I need to attend to I was about to walk away when Marcy said
{Marcy}How are Josephine and Julie?
{Peyton}Don't-don't do that don't ask about my daughters don't give me some kind of bullshit that you care about them your not their mother

{Peyton}I look at the picture and it's a picture of the puppy that's in the exam room right now, that precious puppy is your puppy?

{Peyton}You have a funny way of showing it, you know animal cruelty can land you in jail? And I'm so glad that you aren't in my daughters lives lord only knows what you would do to them if giving the chance you are not getting that puppy back now get out of here before I call the police
{Marcy}I look up when I see a brown haired woman coming from the back, oh and who is she?
{Peyton}That's my assistant she's assisting me with the puppy
{Marcy}Well aren't you going to introduce me to her?
{Peyton}I wasn't going to but if that will get you to leave then I will, Marcy this is Rowan my assistant at the clinic Rowan this is Marcy the "mother" of my daughters, there your introduced to Rowan now leave Marcy I watch as she turns around and walks to the door but she stops at the door and she says
{Marcy}I'll be back for Josephine and Julie, oh and don't think I don't know that they are with your parents Peyton, after I said that I walk out the door and to my car and head home to plan out how to get Josephine and Julie

{Rowan}Well she's seems like a bitch
{Peyton}Oh she is and get this that puppy that we are working on in the exam room is her puppy and she was the one that stabbed her and broke her legs, I look at Rowan and she looks worried for the puppy, so I say but don't worry she won't be getting the puppy back now come on let's go work on the puppy Rowan nods and we head back into the exam room to finish working on the puppy, OK come here little girl let's get your legs in the casts once I get her legs in the casts I carefully pick her up and put her back in her cage there you go sweet girl rest up
