TIMESKIP ONE WEEK

I looked out at my accomplishment, mana-based reinforcement. I knew that there were such things like Touki out there, but I don't remember there being anything for mana based physical improvements.

The spell acted similar to Might Guy's Eight Gates. Not in terms of actual ability but in consequences of pushing your body so far beyond what it should be at.

I could theoretically boost myself to my equivalent of 8th gate Guy, but then I would probably get myself killed as my body shut down.

It would still get the job done, and if I could learn senjutsu and Touki then the spell would become even more effective.

Besides that my Gemini had made an unexpected breakthrough on my flexible barriers and they were not much stronger, strong enough that I couldn't breaks them alone, while it would be useless against people like Sirzechs or Vali, it would buy me time and in the case of Vali, prevent him from using his sacred gear on me.

Besides that, things have been going well. Xenovia hasn't done anything overt about trying to seduce me and from my perspective, as I can't read her mind, we have settled into an amicable friendship.

Her lessons in swordsmanship have been incredibly useful, especially because I was planning on forging swords out of the material, I got from Issei and Vali.

Besides that, I also submitted a request to Heaven for some Magical metals. I would be repaying them with Holy swords that had low enough requirements that anybody could wield them and had minor useful properties.

I had made enough progress on the links that I believe that I need to start gathering materials now.

I went to bed tired and satisfied with my day.

TIMESKIP ONE WEEK

Today was an incredibly important day for Heaven. The Brave Saints system was finally finished and with my connection being the basis for the pieces our faction would be able to recruit more people without fear of them falling easily.

We had been asked to meet up with Michael as he has a proposal for Xenovia, Irina, and Asia.

My guess was that he was going to recruit them. I was only in the loop because I have been keeping contact with Ruhiel and the others about their progress.

After a couple of hours of anticipation, we all met up with Michael.

"Greetings Lord Michael"

"Greeting you four, how are you all doing?"

"We have been doing fine"

"Agreed"

"Great Lord Michael"

"Same here!"

He smiled at us

"I am glad"

He removed a deck of 13 cards from one of his pockets.

"I have asked you all to come here, with Adrien coming along so he may see what he has helped to create, to give you an offer"

Irina, Xenovia, and Asia were curious as I hadn't been telling them what I had been doing up in heaven.

"This here is a deck of our new reincarnation system, the Brave Saints. I would like to ask the three of you if you would want to become Angels under my command."

The three immediately jumped at the chance to become actual Angels.

In short order they were reincarnated. Irina would be going to get some training from other people as she has to head back.

I, on the other hand was going to be showing Xenovia and Asia the ropes when it comes to fighting and flying as an Angel.

Michael eventually pulled me aside and handed me the metals that I had requested. I thanked him and asked that he send me a list of swords that he wants me to create.

We parted ways a bit after that. Xenovia and Asia were ecstatic for the rest of the day.

THE NEXT DAY

Today was the day that I was going to forge my two dragon swords. I was going to call the sword forged from fragments of the boosted gear Red Reign, the sword forged from divine dividing would be called White Ruin.

I had been holding off on the actual forging of the swords until I had strengthened the links much further beyond what they were previously. Now that I have, I was not going to waste any time making them.

I knew that the three factions would be making a pact with the Norse mythology to go against the Khaos brigade next week. Something that meant that Loki would be attacking then, and I would likely be in the group that will have to fight Loki.

I set the materials for Red Reign out first. I had more materials for it, so I was going to create a practice knife as a proof of concept before making the actual sword.

I created a couple of Geminis to make sure that nobody would bother me and to assist me if I would need it.

I took a deep breath in and began to forge.

ONE HOUR LATER

I had finished the blade and affixed it to a crude handle, I had affixed a fragment of one of the larger orbs into the handle of the knife before creating the link between the blade forged from the metal of the Balance Breaker.

The blade was actually an alloy made from titanium and the metal from the balance breaker, I had used my ability to create holy weapons to bestow greater durability and strength upon the blade as well.

Once the link was secure, I tried channeling some mana into the blade and orb fragment to see if I could get the ability to work.

It took a couple of tries, but I managed to get a single boost out of the knife. I had to judge the increase by feel, but it should be around a 1.5x modifier to my power level.

I waited for the boost to wear off before trying to boost something other than myself, after various bits of testing I found that I could only boost a couple of things. The easiest being my energy reserves, followed by my body, the knife itself, and then anything the knife is touching.

With more than one full orb I should theoretically be able to have more than one boost active, but I wasn't getting my hopes up. I am imaging it would be similar if I were to do something with the materials from Divine Dividing, but I just didn't have enough spare materials to do so

Now that my proof of concept was working, I removed the blade and the fragment and would be putting them on an actual handle later.

I would be forging into those blades' incredible durability and strength as well, so that they would be able to withstand more total energy than what it would with me just relying upon the base materials.

The metals I requested from my faction are going to be playing a huge role in creating a much stronger and magical alloy compared to the Titanium Balance Breaker alloy that I used for the knife.

I plan to spend days making these swords the best that I can get them. If Gemini was my best magical creation, then these two swords would be my greatest pair of Holy Swords for a long period of time unless I come across more pieces of Longinus level sacred gears.

I wasn't just planning on stopping with creating links to the orbs to the metals that make up the sword, I was planning on linking everything together both ways. This was on top of also including other materials with beneficial properties to the swords.

I had disassembled my healing gauntlet and was planning on adding hydra scales to Red Reign and while a couple of scales might not do much, the regenerative properties would be great for the sword as even minor damage regeneration would be incredible when added to a weapon that should be able to boost said property.

As for White Ruin, there wasn't really anything beneficial that I would be able to add to the sword that is beneficial to its ability to divide. I was going to keep it nice and simple while Red Reign got more things due to how it was extremely synergetic with most things.

I went over my plans a couple of more times before beginning with Red Reign. It was going to be around the size of a great sword with the width of the blade being a bit bigger than typical for great swords. It was going to take almost all of my materials I had set aside for the sword, so I had no room for mistakes.

I had my work cut out for me.

TIMESKIP THREE DAYS LATER

I looked out upon the first sword and found it beautiful.

I had no time to waste though, I only had six days until Loki attacks, and I would need both swords for a god level opponent.

I took a short break to make sure I got something to eat and drink before setting out all of the materials and going over my plans for White Ruin.

White ruin was going to only be the size of a short sword. It wasn't going to have all of the fancy bells and whistles that Red Reign has simply because it doesn't need them. It's ability to divide was an amazing ability and with how few materials I have from Divine Dividing I am going to make every single scrap count.

I sighed and created a couple of new Geminis while dispersing the old.

Once more into the breach.

TIMESKIP TWO DAYS LATER

I was finally finished. I set the sword down and resolved to test it later, I was tired and mentally fatigued. I was going to take the rest of today off and then I would get to testing and practicing with the blades tomorrow.

I was going to see if I could recruit Xenovia to spar with me and act as a possible test dummy for the boosting and dividing powers of the swords.

In my all-consuming tiredness, I waved to Xenovia and told her that I was going to nap for a bit before crashing into my bed.

I would wash it later.

TIMESKIP THREE DAYS LATER

Irina, Xenovia, Asia, and I were invited to what was more or less a party with Michael as his entourage. We were meeting up with the Norse faction.

I was a bit surprised as I was expecting to have to deal with Didoria first, but reality rarely ever follows a set path and with me as part of this world, the plot was never going to become true.

We had arrived later than everyone else and missed all of the awkwardness that I would have had to suffer at the party if we were early. I have always felt awkward in large crowds.

I think that Loki was going to attack soon enough, but I couldn't accuse him of anything of that sort without causing a diplomatic incident.

There wasn't a thing that I could really do about it. I remember Issei and the others winning, but I don't really remember the fight. Past that, Didoria is still something that can happen, and something happens in Kyoto.

I turned my attention to the ongoing conversation between the leaders and found that for the most part, they were making small talk until the big event started in a couple of minutes.

I looked out into the crowd and spotted the bastard himself, Didoria. I was going to have to kill him off at some point.

Soon enough the Sirzechs gestured to quiet the crowd and he began to speak.

"Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels have reflected upon the past and have allied together to live in peace"

Not a bad way to start off. I don't think I could have made myself get up there to do a speech like that.

"But there are ones who wish to start war once again."

The Khaos Brigade.

"The new alliance with the Norse gods is truly heartening and we look forward to cementing this alliance tonight"

Sirzechs turns around to Odin before speaking again

"Lord Odin, if you have no objections, please sign the pact monument."

Odin walked forward and was about to place his hand onto the monument.

A voice echoed throughout the hall.

"Objection"

"I'm surprised he waited this long."

Odin commented

If Odin had known about this why hadn't he done anything?

"You arrogant fool"

A circle appeared in midair before parting like a door, letting a new person hover out of it.

Loki.

"I am the Norse god Loki, greeting"

Identity confirmed, I got ready to cast Gemini and grab my weapons from my pocket dimension.

"Alright! Now we got a party!"

Damn It Azazel, take this more seriously.

"Lord Loki, you may be the Norse god of mischief, but that gives you no rights to cause problems here"

Sirzechs spoke up.

"Seeing Odin, our great all father, mingling with lesser mythologies causes me to suffer indescribable torment Sirzechs"

"Leave Loki, if you return to Valhalla immediately, I'll forgive you for this public affront"

I have already released my resistance and weight spells and was now casting my reinforcement spell on myself; I wasn't going to let the bastard get any cheap shots in. I remember him being sealed for a bit, but I don't remember how, so I am preparing to fight.

"Really? You can shove your forgiveness"

"Oh, great. Another man without manners"

Rossweisse commented.

I glanced at her briefly, she wasn't in her armor just yet.

"If he chooses to sign an alliance with the other mythologies it will make things incredibly difficult for me to set Ragnarök into motion"

"The lyrics are different, but the song sounds the same"

Was Azazel talking about Kokabiel? That was the only thing that I could probably compare the situation to.

"Look kid, you're just a clown working for the Khaos Brigade"

"Working for? No. Working with? Yes. But I admit, this Op was my idea"

He raised an arm to the side

"Now let me introduce you to my beloved son!"

Another gate came into existence with a lightning affect before shattering into a giant wolf with a horn on each front shoulder.

Fenrir.

I immediately pulled my weapons from where I was holding them.

Loki snapped his fingers and Fenrir leapt forward, damaging the hall, Akeno blasted some debris away from her friends and got Fenrir's attention.

I had positioned myself in front of her to intercept the attack when a bluish lightning attack hit the wolf. Baraquiel, Akeno's father, had attacked Fenrir.

"This girl is off limits, Pup"

He was suddenly standing right next to me. Jeez, I really need to get stronger faster if this is what some of the higher ups could do.

"Oh look, a hero"

Loki commented, his face still shaped into a smug expression.

Suddenly a green glow surrounded Loki and I saw one of the most impressive pieces of spell work I have seen before myself, trapping both Fenrir and Loki.

"You left yourself open"

"Beelzebub!"

Loki shouted out in surprise.

The glow intensified and in a short flash, both Loki and Fenrir were forcibly teleported away.

"Well played Beelzebub"

Said Sirzechs as he looked at the subject of his praise.

The leaders decided that they would be holding a meeting later on how to decide to handle the situation.

A COUPLE HOURS LATER

I was with Irina and Xenovia in the meeting chamber, Rias had just proposed for her and some others to go off and act as a diversion so that Mjolnir can arrive.

We were given the rest of the night off so that we can prepare for the upcoming fight.

I for one was going to get some sleep and make sure I am well rested and ready for the upcoming fight with a god.

THE NEXT DAY

I stood in a magic circle with Rias, Issei, Koneko, Akeno, Xenovia, Irina, Saji, Tsuabaki, Sona, and Rossweisse. We were just about to be sent to where Loki is trapped to act as a diversion.

I had already pulled out both Red Reign and White Ruin. I sent out a silent prayer in hope that things would go well. I was more or less blind to future events at this point.

In a flash, we were teleported away.
