The group is on it's way to silver town and stop when they see a lot of people in front of a closed gate.

"Excuse me what's going on here?"asked ash.

"You see,everyone is waiting here at the ho oh shrine to see the official johto league torch"said a man.

"But this is the only way to go to mt.silver"groaned leaf.

Then the door opened and the guard said that the torch runner is delayed.Then ash asked"Can I ask what is wrong here?,I am Ash ketchum the kanto champion"said ash.

The people were shocked to see ash ketchum there.Then the guard sighed in relief and said"you see,we have prepared a sacred fire for the league but it was blocked by a sneasel,a machoke and a machamp.We couldn't get it".

"let's go get it"ash said and they nodded.

"Why don't you let me help as well?" a trainer said as he stepped forward with his houndoom.

"who are you?"

"I am Harrison from little root town,Nice to meet you kanto champion ash"said Harrison

"so you are from hoenn region,Nice to meet you"ash said.Then they went to find the sacred fire.

When they arrive at the shrine machamp's arm thrust pushes ash to the ground.

"Ash"leaf,gary and harrison help ash get up.

Then sneasel says that they won't let humans take ho oh's sacred fire with them.

"We have no other choice,gary release suicune"ash said and gary released it.Harrison and others were shocked on seeing suicune.Then ash tells suicune to call ho oh as it nods and roars loudly then a rainbow forms and ho oh comes out of it.It makes sneasel understand that these humans are trust worthy so sneasel returns the sacred fire and goes away with machoke and machamp.Then gary returns suicune.

"Gary surprised me by sending out suicune,I suppose your two also possess legendaries"asked harrison and both nodded.

"I am looking forward to battling you kanto champion"he says and leaves then ash and his friends go to attend the silver conference.

As they arrive and ash registers for the league they meet up with professor Oak,delia,daisy,Tracey,ethan,kris,jasmine,janina and their grandfather.Professor elm also arrived while blue called and said that he has some important for which he can't come but wished ash best of luck.

As they check up the rules and other things they find out that there will be more than 100 participants going down to 16.So,every trainer will battle in one on one battles thrice and in order to qualify he needs to win all three.

In the first round ash battles a trainer and his furret by using his newly hatched phanpy.He thought this might be a good experience for phanpy.Also it gave a good challenge to ash and surprisingly phanpy evolved into donphan.Then in the second he battled a trainer named Vincent and his meganium with his venusaur(trainers carry limits are removed during leagues) and won.His last battle was next day against a girl named Macy.

Later that evening,while ash and his group were talking a came to them.

"Hello Ash ,I am Macy your next round opponenet"said macy.

"Nice to meet you,Macy"said ash.

"Listen Ash,after our match tomorrow we will go on a date"said macy and others were shocked.

"Macy I am sorry to disappoint you but I have already have a girlfriend"said ash and pulled jasmine closer to him.

"What no, I have said that I want a date with you means I will have"yelled Macy.

"Stay away from my boyfriend you bitch"yelled back jasmine angrily while the others were scared of the two girls.

"Fine then if I win tomorrow you will leave ash and if ash wins I will not come in between you"suggested Macy.

"fine"ash said and she left.

"ash you know if you lose tomorrow what will happen"jasmine said worriedly.

"Don't worry I know that she is a fire type specialist so I will destroy her pokemon"ash said and held up a pokeball with the fire symbol.

'macy is massacred'everyone thought except ash as they looked at ash's pokeball.In order to comfort jasmine,ash carried her bridal style to his bed in the pokemon center.And kissed her passionately which calmed her and she slept peacefully with her head on his chest and his arms around her back protectively.

The next day in the stadium,

"Ash get ready for our date"said Macy with a wink.

"macy yesterday when you made my jasmine cry,you did the biggest mistake of your life"ash said calmly glaring at her.

She angrily sent out electrabuzz much to the others shock.

"I know I am a fire type specialist but electrabuzz is my secret weapon now sent out your water type I can't wait for the date"she said dreamily while ash only smirked.

"you thought I will bring a water type,now take this charizard come out"ash yelled and sent out charizard.

Macy looked terrified at the sight of the fire dragon but ordered electrabuzz to use thunder while ash said charizard to use blast burn which knocked out electrabuzz.

"e...el..electrab..electrabuzz is u..n...able to battle,charizard wins and the match goes to ash"the referee said in shock.

Macy tried to take ash by force but the guards came and took her while many girls were drooling over ash.Jasmine saw this and went to ash and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him giving a clear message to the girls that her boyfriend is not available while the crowd'awed' at the sight.

Ash also qualified for the victory tournament and the qualifiers had ended and ethan and harrison also made it through in the top 16.Ash next battle was a against a trainer named silver,so he went to prepare his team.
