IN THE MALT SHOP

Shaggy had gotten up to place everyone's orders. Him, Scooby, and Daphne were simply having some strawberry milkshakes as usual for them, Tom was getting a Coca-Cola, and Sonic was getting a chocolate milkshake. Sonic himself however was playing a claw machine with Daphne watching over him to keep him out of trouble.

"You sure you got this, Sonic?" Daphne said as she put a coin into the claw machine

"Yeah, i've got it, Daphne. I've seen people use claw machines before." Sonic said as he started moving the claw movement joystick

"So I guess you're gonna cross this off the ol' bucket list?" Tom said

"What's a bucket list?" Sonic asked not knowing what a bucket list was

"Well, Sonic, it's a list of things you want to do in your life before you well, kick the bucket."Tom explained

"I've never kicked a bucket either! Oh, I GOTTA make my list." Sonic said as he ran off after pushing a button letting the claw machine claw drop down and grab the item, a fitbit, and dropped it in the award area and Daphne grabbed it

Tom and Daphne walked back over to their booth as Sonic rushed to it and started writing down his bucket list. Shaggy and Scooby came back with a tray that had their orders on it and they sat down. hat's when Sonic went silent and stopped writing.

"What? What's wrong?" Daphne asked the blue speedster hedgehog

"There's so much stuff I haven't done. Now that i'm leaving Earth, I guess I missed my chance." Sonic replied

"Like, trust us,Sonic. We know how it feels. There's things we wish we could still do. You aren't alone on missing the chance to do things. Besides, I guess this Malt Shop is the kinda place you can get a lot of living done in a short period of time." Shaggy re-assured the hedgehog

They then started having fun with everything around The Malt Shop. Daphne challenged him to a game of dart throwing. Daphne missed the bull's eye by a few centimeters. Sonic grabbed the cup of darts and the all of them at a fast speed. Not a single one hit the dart board though. They all hit around the board.

Tom was then at one of those basketball hoop games. He tossed a few balls in then tossed in Sonic who curled up into a ball and he sat on the hoop ring and pressed the trigger several times with his feet.

"New high score." Sonic said as he pressed the trigger

Shaggy and Scooby then had helped him onto a mechanical rotating horse body. Right now, it was going at medium speed

"Wait a minute, is this horse missing a head or does it have two butts?" Sonic said

Shaggy faked a yawn as he stuck a quarter in the machine controlling the mechanical horse. Scooby pressed the button with his tail and the machine sped up nearly throwing Sonic off but he just barely managed to stay on.

"I'm okay!" Sonic called as he stood up on the mechanical horse

They were then sitting at the counter for their second rounds of shakes.

"That sure was fun." Sonic said as he took a sip of his chocolate milkshake

'Yeah. By the way Sonic, that claw machine you were playing earlier actually grabbedthis." Daphne said as she pulled out the fitbit and Sonic put it on

"Wow...it's amazing." Sonic said

'We don't like your kind around here." They all heard a gravely voice seeming to aim itself at Sonic

They turn around and saw that a biker said it as Sonic said, "Our kinds? And what kind is that?"

"Hipsters." The biker said

"How dare you." Sonic quickly said

"It's alright, sir, we were like, just about to leave anyways." Shaggy said as he tried to pull Sonic along with them

"No no no, it's okay, I know exactly how to handle this." Sonic said as he grabbed an empty glass soda bottle from the nearby counter. "Pop quiz, hot-shot, you just picked a fight with a poorly disguised hedgehog who's seen way to many action movies. What do you do? What do you do?" he added as he hopped up and slammed the bottle on the biker's head

Much to Sonic's dismay, the bottle didn't break, nor did the biker flinch.

"I'm crazy, this is supposed to break, right?" Sonic said as he slammed the bottle on the biker's head again several times but still nothing happened

The biker went to hit Sonic but missed and hit Tom instead. This started a bar fight. Everyone was fighting over what just happened. Soon after,Scooby, Shaggy, Sonic, Tom, and Daphne found themselves back to back occasionally throwing defensive punches and kicks.

"GREAT JOB!" Tom yelled at the small hedgehog

"I know, this is awesome, right?" Sonic said

Sonic saw the biker who had punched Tom from him ducking and ran up and punched and kicked his face as he went through the air. He landed behind the biker and blew on his fists. He turned to the biker as the biker turned to him and growled and went running at him. Out of nowhere, Sonic found everything except Scooby was frozen as if time was stopped. Of course, he was focused on the biker at the moment so he didn't fully notice Scooby just yet.

"Really?" Sonic said looking at the biker

Sonic took off running to do stuff around the Malt Shop while things were frozen in time for him.

Scooby looked around confused as he also saw things were frozen in time around him seemingly, He walked around on all fours and joined in with Sonic on the shenanigans about to ensue.

First thing they did was eat a few chili dogs out of the air.. Sonic seemed to enjoy them. Scooby then re-positioned Shaggy, Daphne, and Tom, who were all now in the middle of separate fights, back at the counter and set their second milkshakes in their hands. Scooby slurped his until nothing was left.

Sonic wrapped a couple of people with all the toilet paper from the bathrooms. ALL OF IT. Scooby then helped Sonic stick some sparkler fireworks Scooby obtained from The Mystery Machine in someone's ears. Sonic grabbed a bear mask off of a wall and put on the biker's head

Scooby then sat back at the counter with Daphne, Shaggy, and Tom. Sonic grabbed a fries basket cloth and went back where he was and put his disguise back on.

Just then, everything unfroze for them.

"Ole!" Sonic said as the biker ran past him and broke through a window

Daphne, Tom, and Shaggy looked around confused about how they were at the counter again. They finished their orders as Sonic showed up and said, "So, should we get out of here?"

"Yeah, time to go." Daphne said as the group ran out of The Malt Shop and for The Mystery Machine

Daphne tossed Tom the keys as they got closer and Tom caught the keys.

"I always wanted to do this!" Sonic said as he slid along the slanted hood of The Mystery Machine and into the passenger seat. "Nailed it!" he added

Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby got in the back of the van as Tom got in the driver's seat. Everyone put on their seat-belts before Tom took off driving after backing out of the parking space.

"Oh boy, you guys were great back there." Tom said

"Like, did you see Sonic at all? He was really fast and couldn't even be seen." Shaggy responded

"You should have seen what I did with the toilet paper. Next person to go in any of those bathrooms will have nothing to wipe with." Sonic responded

LATER THAT NIGHT IN A MOTEL ROOM

In a Motel Room, Shaggy and Scooby were passed out on the couches and Tom was getting some ice for the area he was hit in the face.

"The floors were wet. The odds were against us. But there was no stopping The Doughnut Lord, The Purple Diva, The Sandwich Lords, and The Blue Blur." Sonic said as he sat on the bed he would be sleeping on

Daphne had just changed into clean clothes after having a quick shower and drying off. She came out of the bathroom in her sleepwear and aid down on the bed she would be sleeping on and fell to sleep.

"So, now what? Sonic asked Tom

"Well, i'm gonna pass out watching TV. I think you should, too." Tom said

"But this is my last night on Earth! I want to soak up every last second." Sonic stated

"Alight. Anything you can do in this room, you can knock yourself out." Tom responded

Sonic then ran around the rooms doing several things visually at once. After a few seconds, he went into the bathroom and came out with towels wrapped around himself.

"Good times." Sonic stated

"You are a weird little dude." Tom sad as he laid back

"I really am gonna miss this place. I know I have to leave Earth to be safe, but what if Longclaw was wrong? Maybe I could have a life here." Sonic said

"So...what''s this next planet you're supposed to go to?" Tom asked

"It's no Earth, I can tell you that. Just breathable air and giant mushrooms and stuff." Sonic explained

"Well, look at it this way, at least you won't be the only Fungi." Tom said in a joking manner

"No. Don't ever do that again." Sonic said as Scooby seemingly laughed in his sleep as if he heard Tom's joke

Tom stood up and fixed a lamp Sonic had knocked over.

"I don't know about you, but i'm gonna get some sleep." Tom said

"You sleep. I'm gonna soak up and enjoy every last second of Earth while I can

"Sure, buddy. Just as long as we're on the road by Eight..." Tom said as he turned to Sonic and saw him fast asleep

Tom walked over and tucked him in and looked over at his bucket list and saw only one thing was left un-scratched off.

MAKE REAL FRIENDS

Tom sighed as he turned to the TV with a news report that made it look like him, Shaggy, and Daphne were terrorists.

"Thomas Michael Wachowski, Daphne Blake, and Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers are now apparent terrorists. Any clues to their whereabouts are helpful." The news anchor said as Tom sighed

Tom knew they were in real trouble with that Robotnik dude. They had to get Sonic's rings for him fast. He looked at Scooby and noticed his dog tag was gone and got a bit confused but had a terrible feeling as to who had it.
