The Weasleys table was filled as everyone huddled around, trying to figure out a way to find and secure the dark magic from pandora's box.
"What about the hope? Sirius, you said that after the evils were released from the box then hope would attach itself to someone and they would be able to find and lock the magic back up". Harry said.
He nodded but didn't look hopeful. "That's true but I don't know how to find who the hope has attached itself to."
"This is hopeless!" Ron whined. "We're never going to be able to figure this out."
No one even tried to argue with him. Everyone was just tired of fighting. The war was over. They were supposed to be getting on with their lives not chasing around more evil. They sat in silence until the minister showed up.
"I'm calling you guys off of this." Kingsley decided.
"I thought you said this was official Order business? That you didn't have enough Aurors?" Hermione asked.
The minister shook his head. "Originally yes, but I have more available now. And the Order can be limited, the ministry just has more resources available. Besides, you have done enough. If I do end up needing any more help, I will let you know immediately."
There seemed to be a collective sigh of relief. Until Molly decided what to focus on.
"Oh well, that lets us get back on track with the weddings!"
Percy cringed at the thought. As he warned, he didn't show up to the ceremony that Penelope had planned. He was working closely with everyone to find Fred. Needless to say, Penelope hadn't spoken to him or anyone else since. "I'll go to Penny's later and talk to her about when she would like to have our ceremony."
Molly nodded encouragingly and turned to the next in line. "Charlie and Alexis, your wedding was originally planned for this weekend. Do you still want to reschedule?"
"I think we should just go ahead and have it, " Her son said.
Alexis looked a little concerned about that. "It's just a few days away though. We told most of the guests that we probably needed to change the date."
"I will owl them all tonight and tell them that it's still on. We can do this!"
She blushed at his enthusiasm but grinned. "Ok yes, of course, we can!"
"Bloody Hell, mum, I'm getting hitched this weekend!"
Molly gave him a warning look for his language but couldn't help but smile and Arthur looked so excited that his children's weddings were starting.
"Oh, I just loved weddings!" Narcissa cooed. "Oh, Draco, please invite Cho! I'd love to see her again. She was just lovely."
"Yes everyone should invite their partners. Weddings are a great way to get to know each other." Molly added.
Hermione noticed a few different looks around the room. Draco looked anxious at the thought of being around Cho. She also noticed Blaise give Ginny a very seductive look that she wished she hadn't seen. And then there was George. Poor George had been trying so hard but was miserable with Angelina. She treated him awful and wasn't shy about flirting in front of him.
"Hermione, earth to 'Mione!"
She snapped back to reality and saw everyone staring at her. "Huh..."
"Mum was wondering if our date was still okay, love," Fred said.
"Oh yes, we'll be all set. After Charlie and Alexis get married, we finalize all of our details."
"We should go shopping tomorrow for dresses " Ginny suggested. "We'll need a few different things for all the weddings coming up. Oh, and we could look at wedding dresses!"
Hermione tried to politely decline, she really didn't want to go shopping, but before she knew it Fluer and Luna both were excitedly inviting themselves and making a day out of it. She looked pleadingly at Fred but he just smirked and tried to keep himself from laughing.
"Ok, ok. We'll all go shopping." She groaned.

Hermione and Fred had gone back to their flat that night. She wanted to start making it cozier and welcoming now that Fred was back and safe, so they decided to start with the bedroom.
"What about maroon?" Fred asked as they looked at the pale grey wall.
"I was thinking more of a blue theme throughout." She answered.
He nodded. "Blue is good"
With a few flicks of their wands, their room was slate blue, with white trim. She resized some of the furniture from her parent's house so they had two dressers and nightstands, and Fred used magic to clean them up and restain them to be a color that complimented the room.
"Look at us." Hermione gushed. "Decorating our first house?!"
Fred scooped her up and spun her around. "You know I really can't wait to marry you."
She blushed. "I love you, Fred."
"I love you too."
"Have you thought about what you want for the wedding?" She asked.
"I don't want much. George is going to be my best man. Mum could take care of the food. And we fly away to our honeymoon on broomstick."
She laughed. "Very funny but I'm not getting on a broom all the way to Paris."
"Paris sounds lovely." He said.
"Oh goodness no, I was only joking! Paris would be way too much money right now!"
He shook his head. "Nope nope. If my love wants to go to Paris, then that is where we go. Besides the shop has been doing so well. It'll be nothing."
She wanted to argue but she had always wanted to go to Paris. She grinned at her soon to be husband and tackled him onto the bed. "Oh, Merlin we're going to Paris!"
He smiled at her excitement and pulled her close. "You feel like home."
She leaned in to kiss him and felt her heart flip inside her. He was right. This was home.

"Time to gooo!"
Hermione popped up from behind a bookshelf and saw Ginny, Fleur, and Luna coming into the bookstore. She wanted to open the store in the next week but it was in need of a good cleaning and redecorating.
"Just a minute!" She yelled at them.
She finished the shelf that she was working on and met the girls at the counter. "What's our first stop?"
"Fleur is taking us to this little shop outside London for our dresses and to a cafe for lunch. Then Luna and I decided to stop and look at wedding dresses at a boutique here before we go home." Ginny said.
"Simple enough. Let's get to it." She replied.
Lucky for Hermione, the shopping passed quickly. She had bought way more dresses than she needed but it was done. And she really had enjoyed having lunch with the girls. They had grown rather close during and after the war, she always found comfort with them and it was nice to talk like normal girls and not soldiers.
"So, Ginny, I've been made aware that you and Blaise are getting on rather nicely."
Ginny blushed slightly at her friend's statement but nodded. "We are...he's really an incredible person, in more ways than one..."
"Oh, dear..." Luna laughed. "I didn't realize you were getting on that well."
"I know, I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys. I just don't want to jinx it." The redhead said.
Fleur chuckled. "I don't think you're going to jinx it, dear. According to an ancient spell, he's your soulmate."
"I know, I just worry since I'm going back to Hogwarts. What if things change while I'm gone?"
Hermione squeezed her hand and smiled. "I don't think they will. In fact, knowing Blaise he is going to be sneaking into Hogwarts all the time to see you."
Luna snickered. "If you need a good hiding spot, you can always use the Room of Requirement."
"You ladies better not let Molly hear you talking about these things." Fleur lightly chided. "And Ginny, you better be using protection. Your parents will kill you AND Blaise if you get pregnant before you graduate."
She blushed again but nodded. Fleur really was the big sister that all the girls needed. She would never tell on you, but she would make sure you were being smart and safe.
They talked a little more about weddings and each other. Luna said that she and Harry were finally getting to a good place and Teddy was partially the reason why.
"When Remus died and Harry told me that he would be raising Teddy, I realized that meant I would be raising Teddy with him. And I want Teddy to grow up in a fun, loving house. I realized I hadn't been to welcome to Harry when we first found out about all of this. But after just letting go, it's been kind of perfect."
"What about Draco and Cho?" Hermione asked. "When Narcissa brought her up, he seemed really anxious."
Ginny sighed. "It's not been going well. Blaise said that Cho wants nothing to do with Draco. He's tried to get to know her and spend time with her, but she refuses it."
"That's awful. I think they would be so good together." Luna added.
"It's this awful law." Fleur snapped. "Forcing everyone to get married and breed? It can take the joy out of any relationship. Especially when you take away people's choices."
Hermione agreed. "Fred and I wouldn't have married for years if we had the choice."
The older witch sympathized with her younger sisters. She was lucky enough to have already been married, but she still hated to see her family being affected.
"Oh my..." Hermione breathed.
Across the street, in the arms of Oliver Wood, was Angelina. The other girls followed her eyes to see why she had paled.
Ginny was instantly enraged. "That no good, rotten, slimy, slag!"
She raised her wand, but Fleur and Hermione grabbed her, and with Luna, they disapparated to Fred and Hermione's place.
"That's my brother she's cheating on!" Ginny screeched.
"You can't just start throwing hexes in the middle of the street." Hermione reasoned..
Fleur agreed with Hermione. "I think we should let it up to George to decide what to do."
"Let me decide what?"
They whipped around to see George standing in the doorway.
"What are you doing here." Hermione squeaked.
He looked at them curiously but shrugged. "Fred forgot some notes that he had written about some possible new products. He asked me to swing by and get them on my lunch. What's going on?"
"Nothing. Really, it's just wedding stuff. But Uhm. You're busy. And you know... we're busy. So we'll just talk to you later, okay? Okay. Bye!" She spit out.
She pulled the girls through the floo and to Molly's. She felt awful for not telling George, but she just didn't have the heart.
"Why did you do that?" Ginny asked. "He has to know!"
"I know, I'm sorry. I just saw him and my heart broke. I'm sorry. But please let me talk to Fred first and see what he thinks. I think it will better coming from Fred "
"What's coming from me?"
This time they whirled around to see Fred in a doorway.
"Merlin you twins are everywhere." Fleur joked.
He raised his eyebrows at the girls and as if on cue, Fluer took Luna and Ginny back through the floo. Hermione mentally cursed them.
"Ok, love. I really need to talk to you about something. I need your advice and possibly your help." She took a deep breath and she could feel tears pricking at her eyes as she spoke. "We saw Angelina today. With Oliver Wood. Like, with him."
His face fell and that broke her heart even more. George being heartbroken was bad enough, but if he was hurting then Fred was hurting.
"How could she do this to him? We were all such good friends. She should be happy she was paired with him." Fred's voice was slowly rising, his face getting red with anger. "She was lucky to be paired with him and she needs to realize that! You know what, no. She doesn't deserve him. She deserves nothing."
He stormed back through the floo and Hermione groaned. Not quite the conversation she wanted to have. She quickly followed, knowing she had to stop Fred from doing something stupid.
She stepped out of the floo at the joke shop and saw George cheerfully ringing someone out at the counter. He motioned to the back room and she hurried back to find Fred.
"Fred, I know you're upset..."
"Of course I'm upset. My best friend, my twin, is going to get his heart broken by someone who is supposed to be our friend. Did you tell him?"
She shook her head. "No, we ran into him back at the flat but I panicked. I just wanted to talk to you first."
He nodded and ran his hands over his face. "Bloody hell. Babe I don't want to tell him."
"He'll be more hurt if we don't. And you don't have to be there if you don't want to. I can tell him."
"No, I want to tell him. He's my other half, besides you of course. He needs to hear it from me."
She gave him a sad smile and leaned against him. She and George grew a lot closer when she started dating Fred, and even close when Fred was missing. She wished more than anything that she could prevent this heartbreak for him.
"I can't wait to see that slag in Azkaban," Fred muttered.
"Well, Fluer made a good point. She said we need to let George decide if he wants to report her."
He laughed. "Oh love, you girls are so classy and mature. I am not. I am petty as hell."
Hermione groaned at her fiance. She had a feeling this was going to get very ugly very quickly.
