A/N: Here is another update! I don't have any new news... Enjoy! Oh! and check out my other writings if you haven't already! Thanks!
Rory and Logan were in a car that was driving them to their house.
Once they arrived, Logan told her to close her eyes. She did so and he helped her out of the limo. He stood behind her with his hands over her eyes, making sure she couldn't see.
Logan removed his hands from her face, "Welcome home Ace."
"It's beautiful." Rory said as a tear ran down her face. She looked at their huge, white brick, house. It had wooden shudders next to the huge windows and a big double door in front. The driveway that led up to the garage was long and there was green grass and plants that surrounded it.
They had a nice porch to sit on, with wooden rocking chairs under the overhang that was the upstairs. Four large, wooden, columns held up the overhang above the first floor. The front doors had huge wreaths on them. It had a homey, farmhouse feel to it that Rory and Logan both loved. It was a mix of modern and classy with her style of rustic and historic.
"So.. do you like it Ace?" Logan said finally.
"Like it? Are you kidding me?" She said turning around to face him, flinging her arms around his neck, kissing his cheek. "It's perfect!"
"I'm so glad!" Logan said embracing her again in another loving hug. "Do you wanna see the inside or just stare at the outside the whole time?" He said with a laugh.
"Let's go!" She said grabbing his hand and walking him to their front door for the first time.
Once they were inside, they walked directly into the living room. The ceilings were very high and their was a beautiful wooden and metal fan above their heads. There was a fireplace that was off to the side of the room. It had white brick, just like the outside of the house. Rory looked at the open floor plan and absolutely fell in love with it. She walked into the kitchen completely speechless. The cabinets were white and the counter tops were marble. There was a huge farmhouse sink in the middle of the island in the middle of the room. The dishwasher was attached to it and the stovetop was on the other side of the island, next to the sink. She turned around the there were more cabinets and a huge oven and broiler. Next to it was a big fridge.
She opened the fridge and there, in the middle of it was a single stem rose with a card attached to it that read, "I love you Ace."
Rory turned around to a smiling Logan and she flung herself over to him again, this time in tears.
"I love you too Logan. This is perfect."
"Good." He said enjoying her happiness and instant love for the house he chose for them and their baby.
They went up the stairs and looked around. As soon as they reached the top of the stairs, there was a small area that was perfect for a little playroom and off to the side was the guest bathroom. The walked down the hall and reached the master bedroom and walked in. It was huge! There was a window that looked like a bed would fit perfectly underneath it and there was a huge walk in closet for both of them to share. They walked in the bathroom and saw the same cabinets and counter tops that were downstairs. Rory looked over at the luxurious bath tub under a window. And off to the other side was a large double head shower, meant for two.
They kept walking around and there was two guest bedrooms and a room that looked like it could be a study, it had huge bookshelves that lined across the walls. Rory loved the idea of having her own study. To write her book.
She turned around and looked at Logan and smiled. He smiled back and held out a hand for her to take it. She took his hand and they walked back downstairs and sat on the only couch in the whole house.
"I love it here." She said looking around.
"Me too. I'm so glad that you are letting me raise this child with you. I will always have your back. No matter what."
"Thanks Logan..." she said but then getting lost in her thoughts.
"What? You look a little distant there, Ace."
"I was just thinking."
"About what?" He asked interested.
She turned towards him and sat cris cross applesauce on the couch, "I want to get married right after I have the baby." She said with concern in her tone, wondering what his answer is going to be.
"Ace, you better not be proposing to me because I already have something planned and your going to love it." He said smiling, "I will love to marry you after you have the baby. You are my one and only after all. I choose you Rory."
Rory smiled at him, not saying a word. But her smile instantly said over a million things to Logan and he knew this was right.
Logan's POV: A few hours later.
Logan and Rory were at the Dragonfly that night and Rory was already in bed, reading some book in one of his T-shirts. God she looked sexy with her glasses on and her hair up in a messy bun. He was taking a shirt off, when he heard his phone ring, so he answered it.
"Little brother! I have been trying to contact you all day!" A female voice came from the other line.
"Sorry I was with Rory and my phone was off." He responded but winced when he realized that Honor didn't know about Rory and himself yet.
"Rory?! Is that why you broke off your engagement with that awful woman?"
"How did you know that?" The crease formed between his eyes, but he realized...
"Our father." Mitchum! Oh that horrible man. He has eased up since Logan told him about his unborn baby, but still.
"Oh my goodness, Honor."
"What? This is great! You finally got rid of that wretched woman and you've got the love of your life back!"
"I'm glad you think that way. Do you know what? Maybe you and Josh could go out to eat with us sometime soon. We can get a chance to catch up I'll bring Rory, she's my girlfriend after all."
"Girlfriend?! Ohhh!"
"You sound like a highschooler."
"That's me at heart."
"Don't you have like two kids?" Logan said laughing.
"Yes and Friday? Does that work for both of you?"
"Perfect! See you then sis! I was thinking one of the family holdings, sound good?"
"Great! It's a plan. Bye little brother."
"Goodbye Honor." Logan disconnected the line, set his phone down, and sat next to Rory on our bed. She was still concentrated on that book and didn't even notice him sitting down.
Logan put one hand on Rory's belly and kissed her neck to get her attention. She smiled and closed her book. "Good book?" Logan asked.
"I don't know yet. So who was that on the phone?"
"My sister."
"Oh! How is Honor? I miss her. I haven't seen her in like forever!"
"She's good! She actually called me to tell me that she found out from Mitchum that I broke off the engagement with Odette."
"Oh. So she knows about us?"
"Well, she knows that we are back together but she doesn't know about your little bean here." He said with a chuckle, pointing at her stomach. Rory let out a sigh of relief.
"But I told her that I think we should go to dinner on Friday with her and Josh. Like a double date or something."
"Yay! That sounds fun! And then we can tell them both about the baby."
"That's exactly what I was thinking Ace." He said giving her a light kiss on her face.
They both settled down that night in bed and he put his arm around her and they soon fell asleep. He was so lucky to have this woman by his side. He just was worried about how his mom would take the news when they tell them on Christmas Eve.
Rory's POV: that next Friday evening, Rory and Logan were both getting ready for dinner.
Rory was standing right in front of the bathroom mirror, looking at her baby bump. She was waiting for Logan to get out of the shower. The water turned off and Logan got out and started to dry off when he noticed Rory's expression on her face.
"Ace, What's going on in that head of yours?" He asked putting underwear and his dressy shirt on.
"I'm just thinking.. now get out so I can shower!" She exclaimed smiling and pushing him out of the bathroom.
Rory showered as he finished getting ready in the room.
She got out of the shower and walked into their bedroom with a towel rapped around herself.
"Looking good Huntzberger." Rory said as she walked into the room and saw Logan adjusting his tie in front of the mirror.
"You don't look to bad yourself." He said with a sneaky grin.
"Why Huntzberger, do watch your manners." She said grabbing a bra and underwear out of her suitcase and walking back into the bathroom. She brushed her hair and put her garments on. She walked back in the room and grabbed her dress she was going to wear and stepped into it.
Logan walked up to her from behind and zipped up her tight fitted dress. He stepped back when she turned around to face him. He gave the nod of approval and then walked back up to her.
They stood in front of the mirror together admiring her baby bump that was obviously visible with that tight dress on.
"You know that they will know your pregnant the moment they see you Ace."
"Well we were going to tell them anyway so why not wear a dress that fits the occasion?"
"Damn! You are a beauty!"
"Save the sweet talk Huntzberger." Rory said walking into the bathroom to touch up her makeup and curl her hair.
She walked back into the bedroom and heard a whistle of approval coming from Logan's direction. She smiled back and slipped her sandals on her feet. Logan grabbed her hand and Rory grabbed her purse with her free hand on the way out the door.
They reached the restaurant and Honor and Josh where already at their reserved table. As soon as Honor caught a glimpse of Rory's whole body, her face lit up instantly. She quickly stood up from the table and ran up to her brother and gave him a big hug.
"Hello baby brother!" Honor said pulling away from the hug.
"Hey Honor." He said with a chuckle. Honor stood back and observed Rory, but then smiled.
"Wow, Rory. Your pregnant." She said wide eyed.
Rory and Logan both laughed at her face, "Yes, yes I am." Rory responded as Logan reached his arm around Rory and they all walked to the table.
While Logan shook Josh's hand, Honor was still marveling at Rory.
"I'm so happy for you guys!" She said giving Rory a hug,
"How far along are y'all?" She asked as the all sat down at the table.
"We are about 14 weeks now." Logan piped in. Rory just smiled at how fascinated Honor was with the whole situation. Josh just sat there, quietly like he normally does.
"Wow. I can't wait to have a little niece or nephew! I hope it's a girl! I have two boys and we need a girl in the family."
"I agree. We need another Gilmore Girl. Well Huntzberger." Logan said with a grin.
Rory smiled at Logan and he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh my goodness, y'all are so cute! But stop. Please. We are about to eat." Honor commented.
They all let out a laugh and soon they ordered their dinner.
Rory and Logan told Honor and Josh about their house in Stars Hollow and how Logan was going to move back to the states and lead the Hartford unit of the HPG. Honor, especially, was very exited to live within an hour from her brother again.
"So we are planning to tell 'Them' about the baby at dinner on Christmas Eve. Well dad already knows but mom is in for a big surprise."
"We will be there." Honor said and Josh nodded.
They talked for a little while longer about work, kids, and family, when a familiar face entered the restaurant with a unfamiliar person with him.
Rory turned around and saw her friend walk in the building.
Oh jeez. It's been a long time since she saw him. Well she saw him like a few months ago, a few days before Lorelai and Luke got married, but she thinks she could guess who he's with.
Rory got up to go to the bathroom so that maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't see her. Especially her with Logan. She used the restroom and walked back out of the bathroom, not paying attention to where she was going, and she ran straight into the person she hoped not to see.
He stepped back, "Oh I'm so sorry.. wait. Rory?"
"Oh hey! Sorry for bumping into you like that."
"No your completely fine." He said with a smile, "So a lot has changed since the last time I saw you? As I can see."
"Yeah. That." Rory said looking around for the person he was with.
"Well congratulations! Jenny is here around somewhere. We are visiting my parents and we decided to take advantage of the free babysitting."
"Parents do work that way."
"Who are you with?"
"I'm here with them..." Rory said pointing back at her table.
Logan's back was facing her and he didn't see Rory talking to him.
"Who's the blond dude? You with him?"
"That's Logan. And yes."
"Logan?... oh him." He sighed remembering when he broke up with Rory for the second time. "He's the dad?"
"Yep. We just bought a house in the Hollow."
"I'm so happy for you! It's good to settle down. But I don't see a ring so invite me to the wedding ok?" He said jokingly with a smile.
"Haha I will. If we ever do."
"You will. Trust me."
"I do."
"Good... well I should probably get back to my wife. As people say, happy wife, happy life." He laughed.
"Yeah. It was great to see you! I can't wait to meet your little family you created."
"Thanks Ror. That means a lot." He said and then gave Rory a hug, "See you later Rory."
"Bye Dean." Rory said as she watched him walk over to his table and give Jenny a kiss.
Rory was so happy for Dean and she really wanted what he had. A family.
Rory walked back over to the table and sat next to Logan.
"Who was that guy you were talking to?" Logan asked, being a little protective.
"That was Dean. He is here with his wife. They are visiting his parents and his kids are with them."
"Huh. He's THE Dean isn't he?"
"Yeah."
"Ok. I'm glad he's moved on and settled down."
"It's been a long time since then Logan."
"I know. Just taking care of you." He said giving her a kiss.
"Who's Dean?" Honor butted in.
"My ex boyfriend. We dated twice. Once in high school and once my freshman year of college. But the second time was kinda testy." She explained.
"What do you mean?" Honor asked. Still very confused.
"He was married in the beginning but he used me to cheat on his wife. He's the guy I lost my virginity to. But then he got a divorce and he was with me for a while."
"Wow. Rory Gilmore, I didn't know you were so bad." Honor said with a chuckle, "Why did y'all break up?"
"Haha um... so my grandma hosted this party and after it was over he was waiting for me outside and when I came to meet him, I was actually followed by Logan and the gang. He broke up with me because he saw me with Logan." Rory said elbowing Logan in the chest gently.
"Wait. Seriously?"
"Yeah. Soon after that I started catching feelings for this guy over here." She elbowed him again and he smiled.
"That's sweet." Honor said smiling at Logan.
