Hey guys! How are you all?

This is actually the second last chapter. I have written the epilogue, but I have a specific day when I want to post it.

Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

"Jethro?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"Do you want to get the twins tomorrow or should I?"

"I can do it," he assured her.

"Great." She smiled at him and then left the house.

He went over to the sofa and sat down, more relieved than he had been in a long time.

Present

There was a knock on the door, and Lottie ran to get it. It was her Mom, twin sister and Ducky.

"Hey," she greeted, hugging each of them in turn.

"Hiya," Jenny responded.

"We brought cake," Connie told her sister, nodding her head down to the box she was carrying.

"You're the best. Just bring it through to the kitchen," Lottie said.

Connie grinned and did just that, as Lottie's phone buzzed.

Message from Tim.

That's us just leaving now. Ziva's driving.

Lottie shook her head as Connie walked in.

"What's happening?" The latter asked.

"The others are only just leaving. Ziva's driving."

"I guess that's a good thing."

"Maybe not for the boys, but at least it'll get them here quicker."

Connie grinned as she and Lottie sat down on the sofa.

A few minutes later

A car pulled up at the front door, and the other "kids" all got out.

"Hey," the twins chorused as they walked up the small drive.

"Hi," Jimmy greeted them.

The twins hugged each of their "siblings" and then let them in.

"How was the journey?" Connie questioned as they all walked into the lounge.

"Not that bad actually," Tony answered, glancing over at Ziva with a smile.

"What?" Lottie asked, her eyes darting between them.

"I spent the night at Tony's last night," Ziva told the twins who screamed and hugged the Israeli and the film nerd.

"You guys! This is the best!" Connie cried.

"That's what Abby said."

"That's not surprising," Lottie answered with a grin as she caught the eyes of her adoptive older sister.

"What's going on?" Gibbs asked as he, Jenny and Ducky all came through to the lounge.

"Um, Ziva and I broke rule 12, boss," Tony told him nervously.

Gibbs's face broke into a wide smile.

"It's about time," he told them.

"You're not upset?"

"Not at all. Anyway, I've been breaking it myself for the past month."

Everyone except Ducky and Jenny looked at him in shock.

"What?" They all chorused.

He took Jenny's hand and they shared smiles.

"Jenny and I are back together," the Marine told them and all of the kids screamed and hugged them.

Eventually, they all broke apart and went through to the kitchen.

"We did it," Lottie told Connie, tears in her eyes.

"Yes we did," the latter responded, wrapping her arms around her sister. "I love you."

"I love you too."

They broke apart and went through to the kitchen with linked arms, their hearts filled with joy.

You're the best!
