In front of Beacon Academy, we see all the students and teachers before seeing Ruby Rose one last time, before a white mist envelopes the screen! Then, strange symbols appear as a chilling voice speaks.

The voice states as the largest symbols turn into Horrors before turning into a hand and then finally, into the Golden Knight: Garo, who slashes the mist in two , revealing strange cravings and Garo's helmet!

The camera now follows Garo on a golden horse riding into battle!

Showing Garo winning every single fight and holding a Horrors head!

Garo then runs forward, ready to clash blades with a man with short-red hair and green eyes!

JNPR: Chapter Eight:Beast in black part 1
(Forever Fall forest, 2:30 PM)
A group of students, consisting of teams:RWBY, GARO, JNPR, and CRDL, were walking through the forest under the supervision of Glynda Goodwitch. "Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so." She informed them as they came to a hult. It was then that Jaune, who was wearing a mask that resembled one you'd find on a plague doctor, took a quick glance at Cardin, who seemed perfectly fine as if nothing happened to him!
(Docking area, 15 minutes ago)
"Mr.Bronzewing, where is Mr.Winchester? We're running late!" Ms.Goodwitch asked sternly as Dove just shrugged. "I don't know, we haven't seen him since last night, it's like he-" "... is standing behind you?" Cardin said, appearing right behind his partner, scaring the crap out of him! "AH! CARDIN!?" Dove asked frantically as he tried to calm down! Meanwhile, Cardin was looking at Ms.Goodwitch as he walked towards her. "My apologies, Ms.Goodwitch, I was doing some late-night… soul searching while I was having my armor repaired by a guy my father knew!" Cardin lies as Ms.Goodwitch reassures him that it's quite alright, but tells him to notify a staff member next time!
While she was telling the present students where they'll be going, Pyrrha was quietly acting like they saw a ghost! "I thought you killed him! Or did I just dream it?!" She whispered in a hysterical tone while Jaune kept calm since he's seen this before! "Relax, it was all very real! It's uncommon for Knights to see one person in a terrible condition and then the next time they see them, said person is as good as new." Jaune tells her before looking at Cardin and he saw the differences in his features! "Are you saying he's…?" "We won't know unless we use this." He pulled out a gothic-themed lighter and showed it to his partner! "If a Madou Lighter flame is shined in the face of a Horror, their eyes glow with symbols appearing!" He explained as she nodded as everyone got onto a ship. 'Now the trick is getting the fool alone!' Jaune thought to himself as he placed a mask before getting on board!
(Current time)
"...so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at 4 o'clock. Have fun!" Ms.Goodwitch told them while holding a jar of red sap. The four teams broke off from one-another with their respective teammates, except Jaune, who was tailing Cardin!
With his armors Strike Mode on, Jaune was able to move swiftly and silently towards Cardin as he slowly separated from his own team! Cardin then stopped behind a tree that was now between him and Jaune! He saw this as his moment to pounce and he did, but strangely enough, Cardin wasn't there, it was like he vanished into thin air! "What the…?" He muttered to himself as he looked to his ring to try and get a location from him! "I can't sense him anymore, he must be up to something!" Zaruba told him as his wearer cursed under his breath and punched a hole in the tree he went behind! Fortunately, this was the only problem he knows of since the Undeads came back to him this morning with an allclear so he decided to head back to his teammates!
(Two minutes later)
"Well, what happened?" Pyrrha asked, seeing Jaune had come back. "I lost sight of him, but we now know he is a Horror! He must have begged it to save him!" "They can do that?" She asked as he stabbed a nearby tree to get it's sap as his mask hissed briefly! "Horrors can possess people if their despair or desire is too strong to control, but in the process, the host loses their soul!" Jaune explained as Pyrrha had gotten a shiver up her spine from just thinking of that! "Then we wait?" Jaune nods, confirming her question as they continued with what they were doing, waiting for the demon to make the first move! But unknown to them, the remainder of team CRDL were nearby, ready to enact their revenge!
"Alright, I have the Rapier Wasps!" Russel said as he held out a box with a capital:W on it and a buzzing noise coming from said box! Dove was glad to hear this, but Sky was having second thoughts and he noticed something else! "Hey, umm, have any of you guys seen Cardin? And should we really be doing this, what if he, I don't know, eats us alive?" Sky asked as they told him, they didn't know where he was or did they care! "Besides, those guys made fools out of us and it's time we got some pay-back!" Russel claimed before picking up two jars and picked their targets! Three seconds later, Dove and Russel threw the jars at Jaune and Pyrrha, who had no idea what was about to hit them!
"Jaune, Pyrrha! Behind you!!! " Ren shouted as he pulled out his guns and shot at the airborne jars, but the bullets missed because he was in a hurry! By instinct, Jaune grabbed Scorch Maker and cut the jar coming at him in half, but the sap inside combusted and shattered the other jar that's meant for his partner! All the sap from the sliced jar had burnt away, leaving himself unharmed, but not his partner! "MY EYES!!! I CAN'T SEE! I CAN'T SEE!!" Pyrrha screamed in pain as she thrashed about like a wounded animal, frantically trying to get the tree sap and broken glass off her face and hair to no avail! Jaune then sheathed his sword before grabbing a hold of her, trying to stop her so she could calm down! "Pyrrha, you're going to be okay! Just close your eyes." Jaune reassured her as she did as her partner told her! "Jaune, all I saw was blood!" Pyrrha told him as a mix of blood and tears came out of her eyes! Jaune was about to say something when suddenly, they heard buzzing come from the same direction as the jars came from! Jaune cursed under his breath and, using his Semblance, blew a gust of cold wind, freezing the wasps coming for them! As he stopped, Jaune realized that this was planned and had a good idea who did this!
Back with team CRDL, they saw their scheme fail as Jaune picked up Pyrrha bridal style and to the others! "Damn it, the plan failed!" "If he gets to Ms.Goodwitch, we're dead!" Dove cursed until Cardin came up behind them! "What's going on?" Cardin demanded! "The plan failed, Jaune killed the Rapier Wasps and got away, but we were able to hit that know-it-all Pyrrha Nikos!" Russel told him, but did not get the reaction he was looking for! Cardin was mad, but not because they got away, but because his team attacked someone like cowards! "You dishonorable clowns! You dare attack an opponent with they're back turned?!" "What's the big deal, Cardin? Uh, Cardin?" Dove asked seeing his leader's eyes turn red with slit pupils! He suddenly started to grow to a staggering eight feet as his armor took on a more protective design while a dragon-based helmet! Team CRDL became terrified at his transformation as it completed! "Cardin Winchester is gone, I am Grunbeld the invincible!" The Horror called himself as he summoned a war hammer and a shield!
"What's going on!?" Ms.Goodwitch demanded as she and team RWBY saw Jaune placing his partner down gently before Ren tossed him a bottle of water to Jaune, who opened it and poured it into Pyrrha's eyes, making her wince! "Someone threw jars of tree sap at us, I managed to get out just fine, but Pyrrha's eyes were hit with it, then we got attacked by Rapier Wasps all in one go!" Jaune explained to the teacher as Pyrrha's vision came back, but everything looked like a blur to her! "Thank you." "That's what friends are for." Jaune said which made Pyrrha smile, but held her eyes as they still stung! "Mr.Kibō, take Miss Nikos to the Bullhead, I'm calling this trip off! I'll deal with this later, young man!" She told him, sadly he misinterpreted what she said as he turned around, looking offended and angry! "Are you saying, I did this!? How can you SAY THAT AFTER I RISKED MY OWN NECK!!?" Jaune shouted at Ms.Goodwitch, making her jump in shock! Before she could set the record straight however, they heard footsteps and saw Russel, Dove, and Sky running for their life's! "Monster! Monster!" Russel screamed before he and Dove were grabbed by Jaune and shoved to the ground! "Give me one good reason, I shouldn't rip your spines out and make me feed it to you!" Jaune demanded as his hands grew hotter until he heard a monstrous roar coming from where they just were! "The Horror! I'm not done with any of you!" Jaune stated before letting them go the two chowder-heads and unsheathing His Garoken before turning to Ms.Goodwitch! "Make sure Pyrrha gets to the ship safe and sound, Ren you're in charge until I get back!" Jaune ordered them before he helped Pyrrha to her feet! "Mr.Kibō-!" "No arguing!" Jaune shouted at Glynda before running off!
On the way to the Bullhead, Glynda stopped as she heard hissing! She and the others were on guard as they heard trees rustling! Suddenly, a Horror jumped out of a tree, ready to kill someone, fortunately Orion showed up and impaled it on a spear! It was then that two more showed up! "Orion, it's time to show them your power!" An old voice coming from Orion's bracelet said before he drawed a circle in the air with the Horror still on it, causing it to change shape and the demon to explode into dust as white armor clung to his body!

The ornate White Knight lowered his spear and started swinging it with his right hand as his two small scarves moved with him! He caught the mid-section with his left hand on the third swing and dropped to one knee before slowly getting back on two feet and waited for them to make the first move! One tried to attack from behind, but the Spearman was too quick to react and threw his spear right at its gut as he jumped to it and grabbed his weapon from it, killing it as it immediately disintegrated! The knight then jumped at the remaining Horror before striking the sides of it with the two ends of his spear! He then proceeded to trip the Horror up and stab it's chest, causing it to disintegrate as well! "That's how Dan gets the job done!" The knight, now calling himself Dan, claims as he walked over to the others, who some were in awe!
"You're a wolf knight, like that one from my first day in beacon?" "Your name is Dan?" Ruby and Blake asked respectfully as Dan facepalmed. "First off, that's my armors name and two this is clearly cat-based! You'd have to hurt most of the animals that the other armors are based on to call them wolves!" Dan told them before another, much bulkier Horror was thrown into the open by another Knight, this one however was red with bits of gold and wore a blue cape with two swords on his back!

The knights right hand opened up to reveal a cannon! He uses this to blow the Horrors head clean off, causing it to go limp and fall backwards! "Gaia!" Dan called out as Gaia walked towards them! "What is happening?" Glynda demanded before Gaia suddenly glared at her with a growl, making her jump a bit! "Dan, this entire part of the forest has become a Dead Zone, we need to get these people out of here, now!" Gaia states before three more Horrors tried to ambush him from behind!
(Under the maddening moon, with the wailing of people! Inside the delusional wildfire, a 'god' is born! Ashes, ashes, our hearts have been bound for a thousand years!)
Like lightning, Gaia grabbed his two greatswords and sliced the Horrors into nothingness before connecting the pommels together and throwing them into a random direction, obliterating trees and Horrors alike! "Holy-" "-shit!" Blake finished what Weiss would have said! During his swift action, Pyrrha was barely able to get a look at the second sword he had and remembered the design of it and who it belonged to! "Guts?" Pyrrha asked as the Knight nodded in confirmation before grabbing the returning blades without trying!
(Ah, the "protection" is even copied onto our ignorant, ignorant shackles!)
They then heard arrows being fired and Horrors screeching in pain before Gaia took charge! "Move, now!" He orders as they did so!
(Burns and dances, carried away by the majestic wind! The dirt of karma never settles down on the ground! Ashes, ashes, if you enlighten and become the fire that burns for a hundred nights!)
"Lord, look out!" A bluish-silver Knight told a fellow Knight as he released another arrow from his bow at another Horror! "Thanks, Gai!" Lord said before shoving a Horror into a tree and stabbing it with his sword! He saw team RWBY, Gaia, Dan, Glynda, and most of team JNPR running in the direction of the ship they came in and knew what to do! "We need to clear a path for them!" Lord stated as he pointed to them! Gai agreed to this and went up a tree!
(Ah, then let that eternal, eternal sound echo in the heart forever!)
The archer then saw a group of Horrors in their way and pulled out a dozen arrows! He then proceeded to use both hands to pull the string as he also used his right foot to keep the bow in place as he fired the arrows at the demons, surprisingly hitting all of them at once!
(Ashes dance! Ashes dance! Ashes dance! Ah! (2X) Ah, keeping your origin unique is difficult! Ashes, tell me your name! Ah, understanding that endless power is difficult!)
Gaia and Dan saw the arrows rain down on the Horrors and looked to where they came from and nodded before continuing forward! "This is crazy!" Ruby claimed as they can all agree, but Pyrrha made a point! "No, it's just an average week for Knights like those two!" Gaia used his second sword to pole vault over two more Horrors before cutting them to ribbons with the other! Dan then flicked an earring and then suddenly, rocks came crashing into a Horror before he impaled it with his spear! He then grabbed the other end from the back! The two Knights then pulled out two Madou Lighters and lit the blades of their weapons before making a cutting motion, sending waves of black and purple fire! This cleared a permanent path for them to cross, as they arrived at the Bullhead, Gaia and Dan disengaged their armors before taking a breather!
"Crap, there's never been this many Horrors during a Dead Zone event!" Guts claimed as Ms.Goodwitch approached him, wanting answers! "Now that we have a moment, could you tell me what exactly is going on?!" "That's a need-to-know basis and now is not the time for you to know!" Guts told her before turning to see Pyrrha looking concerned as Ren checked up on her! "How are you feeling?" "Yeah, the pain subsided, but my sight is still a tad fuzzy." Pyrrha answered as she rubbed her eyelids before Sky started asking questions! "I don't understand, those armors, those… things? What kind of Grimm are those?!" "They're called Horrors and they feed on all sentient lifeforms, they'll even eat Grimm as an exception!" Orion told him while twirling his spear like a baton! "Then why didn't anyone see them when we were in the forest?" Yang asked as Gai and Lord came to view! "They're from another world, most Horrors travel here via-gates made from random objects that have accumulated large amounts of negative energy, or also known as Inga! Cardin must have let them out!" Lord accused as he and Gai disengaged their armors! "Wait, you said "most Horrors travel here via-gates made of dark emotions",right?" Pyrrha asked Ravage out of curiosity, who nodded while Ruby brought up her own question! "Then, what do few Horrors do to get here?"

"Some Horrors will take up an intangible form and wait for the surge of Inga, but that's mainly for Apostle Horrors!" Ravage explained before realizing what they meant! "You don't think?" "That an Apostle Horror possessed Cardin and somehow created a Dead Zone as a distraction for us so he could fight Jaune himself!" Pyrrha theorized as they came to the same realization! "I'll retrieve him, everyone, wait here!" Glynda told them before trying to leave, but Guts stepped in her way! "Step aside, Mr.Thrashermen!" "You'll get yourself killed, idiot!" Guts said as if stating the obvious, leaving a shocked expression on Ms.Goodwitch's face before composing herself! "I'm a seasoned Huntress, I know what I'm doing!" "Your Semblance will only make them more eager to eat you! Only a Soul Metal Blade like mine will destroy them!" Guts explains with more enforcement in his voice, causing Ms.Goodwitch to get more upset! "Then I'll use yours!" She said as she hastily grabs his Greatsword, but finds her hand falling with the blade as it crushes her hand! She struggles to try and free it until Guts grabs it from her like it's nothing! "You need a clear head if you want to wield a Soul Metal sword! What are you even trying to prove here anyhow!?" "I'M NOT TRYING TO PROVE ANYTHING YOU INCORRIGIBLE COCK!!!" Glynda shouted at the top of her lungs, causing her everyone but Guts to gasp in shock at what she said! "Ms.Goodwitch!" Weiss said in disbelief that one of her teachers would act like that! Glynda realized this and covered her mouth in shock!
Guts sighs before he drew a symbol and enclosed it with a circle with his sword before slashing it! The resulting flash subsided, a large Kirin made of metal appeared in front of them! "If you're going, you'll need a guild!" Gaia told her before getting on it's back! "Get on." He ordered her, but before she did, Glynda gave the others an order of her own! "Wait until we return, but if we don't in 30 minutes, take the Bullhead and get back to Beacon Academy, tell Ozpin what happened here!" Most of them agreed before she and Gaia took off!
"Alright Knights, form a perimeter around the ship, everyone else, in the ship!" Ren ordered, but Archer was doing a headcount and saw that someone was missing! "Where's Pyrrha?" He asked, causing everyone to look around! "She must have had enough of those two bickering and ran off looking for Jaune!" Yang believed before they all heard sarcastic clapping alongside a familiar voice! Well familiar to Yang! "What an accurate assumption…" Everyone looked to where the voice was coming from and saw a Subst Worm standing on the Bullhead! "...unlike the one for me, of course! What a step-up!" It finished before jumping down! "Not you again! What are you doing here!?" Yang demanded while preparing for a fight as everyone else followed suit! "I was approached by a demon named Grudbeld, he said he required my skills for a trap, though I'm also here to see your progress, if there's any blonde!" The Kaijin stated confidently before snapping its fingers, causing numerous other Worms of different species to appear from the vegetation and surrounded the group!

"Have fun with my allies, now show me what you got!" Subst Worm said before charging at the blond boxer, who was punching the air, firing blasts at the Kaijin! The Kaijin powered through and took a swing at her head, but she ducked down in time and punched it square in the back of the head, causing it to stumble a bit before turning around, chuckling in delight! "So you did learn from our last encounter, hehe!" It said before going for a roundhouse to her head! Yang blocked it, but the impact still made her skid some!
(Don't you lie to me, cause I'm not blind, I see the lessons that you teach create the hate in me. I'm not scared to say that, I won't be that way! We're all the same, but there's always a price to pay!)
Yang got in close and threw a right hook to its face, an elbow strike to the collarbone, and then a knee to its gut, but it grabbed her leg and threw her into a tree! "Yang!" Ruby shouted as she tried to help her, but a red and light blue Worm stopped her by tackling her! She gets back up quickly and is now angry! "Out of my way!" She said before charging at the Kaijin! The two clashed briefly before Ruby was pushed back!

As Yang was shaking her head, clearing it, she was suddenly picked up by the Subst Worm and thrown into the ground, leaving an imprint of her before she was slammed into a tree, breaking it and throwing her a few feet away before the Worm fired energy arrows at her as she got back up, damaging her Aura even further! Yang was breathing heavily for a second before she activated her Semblance and punched the ground, clouding herself as she fired from afar!
Meanwhile in a burning part of the forest, Jaune was going toe-to-toe with the apostle, Grunbeld!
(It's when you speak to me, cause hates not born, you see it's pride you scream with bigot eyes too blind to see! Your frame of mind is outdated! Narrow opinions faded, would you like to meet this monster that you've created!?)
"That's it Vlad the Impaler, give me everything you've got!" Grunbeld told him in pure joy as he swung it's hammer Horizontally at Jaune, who slid underneath and cuts the Horrors leg with his Soul Metal sword, unfortunately Jaune was hit was not prepared for Grunbeld's shield shooting fire at Jaune, pushing him back as the giant got back up on his feet!
(I don't want to be the one to push you down and pull you up again! I don't want to be that way! You're falling down, you're falling down again! (2X))
Grunbeld charged at Jaune and pinned him down with his hammer, dragging him along the ground as he lost his grip of his sword before being thrown into some trees! Suddenly, sharp rocks shot up to the surface and impacted the apostle, forcing him back as Jaune, using his Drake Contract, flew and collided into Grunbeld with his talons and then shot lightning onto him! Grunbeld then grabbed him, ignoring the shocks and threw Jaune down before kicking him like a ball, sending him into a Boulder as it crumbled!
From a safe distance, Night Rogue was watching the whole fight from the beginning through the scope of a Transteam Rifle! "Even with a portion of the power of the Hydra, you can't vanquish an apostle like that!" He said, believing that Grunbeld will win in the end! He decided he wanted to see his triumph in person so he headed towards the area!
Back with the others, Ruby was at her last rope as she was leaning against a tree, bleeding with no Aura while the spider-like Worm was circling her! Fortunately, she had a last-ditch idea! She unfolded the blade and reloaded it with a magazine of Gravity Dust before the Kaijin charged at her with tremendous speed! She pulled the trigger, giving the scythe an extra kick as she slashed and impaled the Worm with it, causing it to wail before exploding in green fire! She chuckled in relief before catching her breath!

"This has been fun, but it seems that playtime is over!" The Subst Worm told Yang while now sporting cracks in its exoskeleton before she shot two blasts at it, but the Kaijin just swats them aside before moving at blinding speed and gives the boxer a sucker punch! "I couldn't agree more!" Yang said before swinging at where the Worm was going to be, causing it to roll across the ground for a brief moment!

It got back up almost immediately before going back in to try and stab Yang, but she was to dodge just enough to make every some of them lightly graze her while the other ones missed! She then grabbed it's right arm and proceeded to use her free arm to punch it in the gut three times before it blocked the fourth with its shield arm, hurting her arm before it stomped on her foot, causing Yang to let go!

As the Subst Worm backed away, its comrades were being destroyed left and right! "Damn, we'll finish this another time, blonde!" It told her as it sprinted off, slower than earlier! Yang proceeded to fall to her knees as was exhausted and didn't have the strength to get back up!
"We got you!" Ruby said as she and Archer reached her! Yang winced as was lifted up by them! "Careful, I've got broken bones everywhere! Though I'm glad I was able to put up more of a fight this time!" Yang said as she tried to walk with the help of her leader and the Hawk Faunus! Ravage then chimed in reminding them of their other problem! "We need to look for everyone who left, they could all be walking into traps!"
Meanwhile, Pyrrha was walking through the forest, no longer sure of where Jaune ran off to until she crouched down, holding her stomach, groaning in anguish! "Why is my stomach in pain!?" She asked herself when suddenly, she heard the sounds of combat! As if by instinct, Pyrrha walked towards the sounds to see a red Amazon Rider fighting a Spider-based Amazon with a Bat-based Amazon, a Mole-based Amazon, and a group of hunters watched the fight take place!
He flexed his index finger, taunting the Spider Amazon into attacking it, but the Rider tripped it up and threw it to the ground! "This is goodbye." He said before plunging his hand into it's chest, ripping out it's heart as it still beats! "Damn that's nasty!" The Rider said nonchalantly before crushing it, causing the organ and the Amazon to liquidate!
As she saw this, Pyrrha started to develop a bloodlust, as if her inner beast was trying to get loose! She lost all semblance of control over herself as her Amazon instincts then took over as she let a distorted shout along with an explosion of steam as she jumped into the air and landed in the battle for all to see!

Everyone remaining turned to see an Amazon that resembled many other Amazon, roaring at them!
"Unbelievable. Come out Vlad the Impaler, I'm just getting warmed up!" Grunbeld said, looking for Jaune after he disappeared from the rubble! Suddenly an explosion occurred, catching the Apostle's attention as he saw a Horror, covered in tentacles with a large, vertical mouth, groaning in pain! "Hep me, id hurds!" It said with a full mouth as it walked towards him! "I ade him, he shud be ded!" It screamed before Scorch Maker suddenly sliced up it's head, killing it on the spot before being chopped to bits, exploding into many bloody pieces, surprising Grunbeld and a newly arrived Night Rogue, Guts, and Ms.Goodwitch!
