Home. When can I go home. My movies, my fish, my bed, my couch, my NON black and white TV with over one hundred channels, my apartment. Home I would like that. It's almost the day after Gibbs said I can go home. He didn't lie to me did he? Wait, rule 7 always be specific when you lie. He wasn't being specific. Going home was all Tony could think of at the moment. Then his thoughts were interrupted by Gibbs.

"DiNozzo!" He yelled from down stairs.

"Yeah boss?!" He answered.

"Ready to go home?!"

"Home?"

"Yeah DiNozzo. Home."

"Home." He whispered to himself.

"Hohohohohome!" He yelled to himself this time.

"YEAH BOSS I'M READY TO GO HOME!"

"Well then, get changed and get your butt down here!"

"Yes boss!"

Tony swung his legs out of bed and changed into his comfortable Ohio State sweater and his baggy sweat pants.

"Coming down boss."

Tony made his way slowly downstairs being mindful of his injury.

"Lets go Gibbs." Tony was really excited.

He made his way to Gibbs' beautiful yellow car.

They drove to DiNozzo's apartment and Gibbs escorted Tony to his own apartment.

"Look after yourself Tony." Gibbs said in a gentle Fatherly tone. He left.

Tony sat flopped down on his couch and closed his eyes.

Then he remembered something. Kate. HIS FISH.

"No." He whispered to himself

"KATE." He yelled looking at the small round fish tank with a small orange blob inside it.

"KAAAAAAATTE."

"NO. no no no no no no." He repeated again and again as he walked up to the console table.

Kate hadn't been fed for almost 2 weeks.

"KAAAAAAAAAAAATTTE!"

The tiny gold fish was not moving and looked very dead.

"Awwwww. Poor Kate. Starved to death."

"Awwwhawhawhaw." He put his palm to his face and rubbed it.

"My poor baby."

He sighed.

He snapped a glove on and picked up the dead fish corpse up and went down stairs and buried Kate round the back where no one would know she was there.

"Rest in piece Kate."

He went back up in his apartment. He sat down again feeling a little sad. I'll need another fish and I'll name it Caitlin. Tony decided

When he remembered something else.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

*knock knock*

Ziva looked up when she heard the knock on the glass door.

"Tony." She sighed.

"Hey Ziva."

"Are you ok Tony?"

"Never better. Are you?"

"I will be once I can leave this place."

"Yeah I'm sure you can leave soon." Tony reassured. He had no how many people had told her that already.

"Ducky said that two days ago Tonyyyy." Ziva whined.

"Can you ask the doctor when I can be discharged?" She continued.

"Sure." Tony smiled knowing how she is feeling. He went outside to ask the doctor.

Ziva knew what she had to say to Tony. He saved her life and but his own in danger.

Tony came back smiling.

"Doctor Lewis said she will come to check on you in a few minutes and see if you are fit to go home."

"Tony I-" She began

"Ziva don't say it." Tony interrupted

"But-" She tried to continue.

Tony put a finger to her lips.

"Ziva, don't worry about it."

Ziva sighed. She had another question in mind.

"Tony, how did you get here?"

"What?"

"How did you manage to sneak past Gibbs and come here to see me?"

"Well I-"

"Ziva?" A familiar woman's voice called out.

"Doctor? Can I leave yet?"

"Well lets see how you are and we will go from there ok?"

Ziva nodded.

Doctor Lewis checked her heartbeat, breathing, her temperature and so on.

"So, you do seem fit enough to go home. Unless you would like to stay here just to be careful."

"No doctor I think I would like to leave."

"Alright. I'll be back with your discharge papers."

"Thank you Doctor."

"So. Looks like you're getting your wish after all." Tony smiled.

"Yes Tony. Is there any way for me not to stay with Gibbs for the next few weeks?"

"Nope. He will probably drag you out if you protest though." Tony answered flatly

"Sorry." He felt sorry for her.

"Oh well."

"But there is a tip. Be a good girl for Gibbs and he might just let you go home sooner."

"Thank you for the tip." Ziva said a little bit unsure.

"Yeah... I had to learn the hard way."

Doctor Lewis came in with a clipboard filled with paper. She went up to Ziva

"I have the discharge papers. Ok so. Sign this... and that... and this... and this down there... and lastly the one up top here." she pointed on the top of the paper.

"And Mr DiNozzo you will need to sign this down here."

"Yes ma'am." Tony obeyed and signed the paper.

Ziva excitedly got out of bed and made her way outside her room. Forgetting that she had a hospital gown on. Showing half her back.

She made her way out the hospital with Tony by her side making sure she didn't fall. She was almost out of the hospital when out of no where, Gibbs blocked her path.

"Didn't think you were getting away that easily did you?" He said in a deep warning tone knowing she really didn't want to have to stay with him.

Crap. She thought.

He gently grabbed her arm and led her out of the hospital. Tony behind them.

They all got in his car. Ziva in the front, Tony at the back, Gibbs driving.

Ziva was cold all over again.

Not again. She was not looking forward to the rest of winter.

They were driving to Gibbs' house in silence.

The silence was broken by the voice of Tony.

"Boss how did you-" Tony asked confused.

"Called you, didn't answer, Phone, McGee." Gibbs interrupted quickly and flatly.

"Ov cccourrse. McGeek. I should have known better." Tony Realized jokingly.

Gibbs pulled up at his driveway. Ziva had fallen asleep and Tony jumped out of the car.

"Hey. Ziver. Wake up we're here." Gibbs woke her up in a gentle fatherly manner.

She began to stir.

"Abba?" She said almost inaudibly

"What?" Gibbs was confused

"Huh?" Ziva also confused.

"Never mind lets go."

Gibbs helped her out of the car and led her upstairs to the same room that Tony slept in. It was the same though the bed sheets were changed.

Ziva just stood there.

"How long will I be here for?" She asked hoping for a answer like 'just for tonight'.

"You will be here for a week at least. Ducky will come and look after you while I'm at work."

"Gibbs-" Ziva started and closed her eyed

"Zivuh, I know you're not a child and you don't think you need looking after but you do so lay in bed and stay there."

Ziva was about to say the same thing again about her not being a child but shut her mouth given that Gibbs just said the words she wanted to say.

She slowly walked up to the bed and lay in it. She snuggled in and she felt warm.

"You can change into this." Gibbs said as he placed a sweater and sweat pants on her bed.

She finally realized she still had a hospital gown on. Noting that the back of it was wide open. Her face felt warm and red when she realized.

She nodded.

Gibbs left to give her some privacy.

She put the pants on. They felt warm and comfy. She put the very oversized sweater on and realized something.

There is no bra. I am actually braless now... Literally. She sighed and went back to bed.

She fell asleep.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"DiNozzo, I'm driving you home."

"Ok Boss."

Gibbs drove Tony back to his apartment.

"Now, this time, you stay here and come back to work NEXT week."

"Yes boss."

Gibbs left and drove back home.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

He slowly and quietly crept up to Ziva's room with a glass of water.

Ziva was peacefully and soundly asleep.

"Ziver. Ziver. Wake up." He said shaking her gently.

"Gibbs?" She asked slowly waking up.

"Drink."

He helped her sip the glass of water. Ziva felt slightly embarrassed and felt like she was being treated like a little child.

"Rest." Gibbs said simply.

He needed to go back to work. He called Ducky.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"Jethro!" Ducky yelled walking to Gibbs's house

"Hey Duck." Gibbs greeted him.

"How is our dear Ziva?"

"sleeping upstairs. Hey, Ducky. Can you stay with her while I go work for a little bit?"

"Of course." Ducky said willingly.

"Thanks Duck."

"My pleasure."

"I gotta go."

"Of course. Have fun!" He yelled as Gibbs was leaving.

"You too." Gibbs chuckled quietly as he got in his car.
