Why hello again. Another sad-ish chapter today but tomorrow's won't be.

In The Classroom (January 21/Thursday 8:50am)

Adrien POV

I'm in the classroom with all of my friends excluding Marinette. Since she's not here yet, I decided to tell them what happened yesterday so we could figure out what's going on but Alix beat me to it.

"Hey umm, guys. Do you think there's something off with Marinette lately?" She asked.

"I was over at her house yesterday, and when she came out of the bathroom she looked terrible," I tell them sadly.

"What happened after that?" Kagami asked.

"I asked her what was wrong and she broke down crying in my arms. I asked her who made her cry and she said 'everyone, everything."

"What the hell?" Chlo screams.

"Do you think it was Lila and Alya again?" Kim questions.

"I think so," Nino responds.

"How do you know?" Chloe asks.

"About a week ago, I ran into Luka and he looked pissed. He told me that Marinette thought that no one liked her because of a note Lila handed her." He responded. What the f**k is she talking about. Everyone likes Marinette except for the idiots brainwashed by Liela.

"Do you know what the note said?" Kagami asked worriedly.

"I think Luka does. Let me call him." After a few rings, he picked up.

"What's up?" He asks.

"We're worried about Princess and Nino said that you know of a note Lila gave her," I tell him frantically.

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Hold on let me get it." He says, quickly rushing to find it.

"Well, what does it say?" Chloe asks impatiently.

"It says 'Hi Maritrash. You know, I bet your 'friends' don't even like you. They're just pitying you. You're nothing more than a waste of space. I warned you. I will take all of your friends and I will destroy you. Just give me my Adrien and I'll leave you alone. Alone without anyone but yourself you stupid little attention seeker.'." He tells us.

"WHAT THE F**K! LET ME AT HER!" Chloe screams.

"Why were you guys worried about her?" Luka asks.

"She's been looking like hollow, I guess," Alix says.

"Oh, and she broke down sobbing in my arms last night." I input, still wondering what caused that.

"WHAT!?" He screams.

"We got to get to the bottom of this," Kagami says, determined.

"Operation Figure Out What's Wrong With Mari is a go," Alix says. At that moment Mari walks in.

"Hey, guys! What are you talking about?" She asks with a fake smile that doesn't reach her eyes.

"Hey, beautiful." I was about to tell her we were just talking about the talent show when she cut me off.

"Don't call me that." She says with a straight face.

"What? Why not?" Luka asks from the phone.

"Because I'm not!" She blurts out, immediately covering up her mouth and running out of the room.

"Mari," I say with tears streaming down my face. I run out of the room to find her. I finally catch up to her and I grab her hand.

"Why would you say that?" I ask softly.

"Because it's true Adrien. I'm not beautiful. I never was, I never will be." She says between sobs.

"Oh Mari," I say wrapping my arms around her and leading her back to the classroom where our friends all pull her into a massive group hug.

"Mari, you're beautiful," Luka tells her from the phone.

"I'm not Luka. End of story." She says, sitting in her seat and refusing to let us talk to her. I let out a gasp.

"What's wrong dude?" Nino came and asks.

"I know how to help her, but I need your help," I tell him.

"Anything for Marbear." He says softly.

"I need you to change my song for tomorrow to..." I tell him. Thank god I know the lyrics.
