"Previously, on Total Drama Revenge of the Cruise Ship..." Chris began the recap, standing on the bow of the ship in front of the put-out bonfire before the footage from last's episode started up. "South Korea! Home of lots and lots of military issues! But that's just what our challenge was about! Raphael naturally dominated in the drills prepared by Chef and our guest Brick, although the others were able to keep up I guess. Alex almost had the challenge won for him by finishing Chef's obstacle course first, but the win was given to Raphael for acting like a true soldier and saving Wolfy. I guess that's exciting. Almost everyone tried to vote off Alex for leaving Wolfy to fall, but he had an immunity idol, so Wolfy and Tristan got the boot for having one vote each! Will the votes tie again? Or will we finally just have one person go in the cannon tonight? Find out right here, on Total, Drama, Revenge of the Cruise Ship!"
Max was sleeping in his bed this time, too frightened to try and sleep in his 'lair' again. He was having a nightmare again, although it was more of a flashback if anything. "Gah! No! I am eeeeeevil! Not you!" Max yelled in his sleep.
Marty and Alex had been putting up with Max's sleep antics ever since he had shown up on the cruise ship, both of them having their pillows over their heads to try and drown out the noise. The girls were at least undisturbed by Max, so they were able to get all of the sleep they needed. "Ugh... shut up!" Alex groaned in frustration as Max continued to have his nightmares.
-Confessional: Marty-
"Max is unbearable. It's always some kind of screaming in the middle of the night. For someone who claims to be afraid of nothing an all kinds of evil, he sure is a scaredy cat. I don't see him lasting much longer."
-End Confessional-
When morning finally came, Marty and Alex climbed out of bed tiredly, both of them not having gotten enough sleep. "I would try and sleep more, but he'll try and find some way to put that to a stop I'm sure." Alex commented as he changed into his normal clothes, pointing at Max for a moment.
Marty didn't want to talk to Alex at all though, giving him a cold stare as he changed as well, then walking out of their room silently. Alex rolled his eyes at this behavior, knowing exactly why Marty was giving him the cold shoulder now. "Of course. He's mad because I took down his entire puny alliance. Go figure." Alex said to himself, as he then walked outside of his room himself, leaving Max behind who was still sleeping.
As soon as Alex stepped outside of his room, he nearly bumped into Raphael who was on his morning jog already. Despite having earned the hangout room to himself for winning the challenge, he still opted to go for a jog and use none of the perks basically. "Seriously? Does that dude ever stop training?" Alex was annoyed by Raphael as well.
In the girls' room, Katniss, Amber, and Yvette all woke up at around 8am, with Yvette waking at 8 right on the dot. Amber stretched as she hopped off the bed, smiling at the other two. "Good morning girls! Ready to take Alex down today?" she asked them, since he was the obvious target at this point.
Katniss nodded excitedly at the idea, hopping off her bed and raising a fist in the air. "Yeah! For everyone who lost to him!" she exclaimed, even more fired up than Amber to get rid of him.
Yvette put on her glasses and climbed out of bed, blinking a few times as her eyes adjusted. "Yes. However, may I propose an alternative option? Statistically, if we were to eliminate someone besides Alex, then he would be the person we eliminate when the gender ratio is even, thus giving us an advantage. It would give the males a severe disadvantage then on. So may I suggest Max?" Yvette proposed, pulling out her notepad and going over all the elimination orders she had jotted down.
The suggestion wasn't too far out there, but it surprised both of them that she of all people wanted Max gone. "Huh? Are you sure? The two of you seem really close, like me and Noah!" Katniss asked, mildly angering Yvette that such a comparison would be made.
Amber nodded in agreement with Katniss, now giggling a little. "Yeah, I thought you had a crush on him. Since you're always helping him out and hanging out with him constantly. Come onnnn, you can tell us if you do! We won't judge!" Amber teased her, not realizing how far from the truth she was.
Yvette's left eye twitched momentarily, but she kept her composure and shook her head. "No, we were merely tactical allies in a mutual alliance. Nothing more." Yvette answered, now starting to change into her normal outfit.
-Confessional: Yvette-
"They thought me and that little purple haired swamp rat were going to be a couple... AAAAAAARGH!"
-End Confessional-
Everyone except for Raphael and Max had made their way to the cafeteria now, where Chef had prepared a breakfast for them with no flaws whatsoever it seemed. Today, it was oatmeal with berries, and a side egg croaissant sandwich. "Wow... this looks really good!" Amber was in disbelief as she looked at the food on her tray when it was her turn in line.
"I know right? It's like Chef gives a crap now since there aren't so many of us to make meals for." Marty chuckled, before getting a quick scoop of gray slop to the face from Chef. "I can see he's held onto the old crud too." Marty added as he wiped off the slop off of his face.
Katniss grabbed her tray and sat down with Amber at their usual spot on the former Killifish table, both of them collectively giggling as they saw Yvette standing by the door of the cafeteria waiting for Max. "She denies it, but she's sooooo crushing on him." Amber whispered to Katniss, who was already halfway through her food now.
Marty was sitting by himself now, and shunned Alex as he tried to sit down with him. "So you're going to be giving me the silent treatment from now on huh? Well we'll see how well that works out." Alex said with a small smirk, getting back up after a good while of waiting for a response.
Seeing the two boys seperated like that delighted Amber, since that was just going to make things a whole lot easier if they weren't willing to work together. Raphael walked into the cafeteria and grabbed his breakfast, giving a friendly wave to everyone as he sat down by himself. "Hey Raph! Wanna sit with us?" Amber offered, patting a seat next to her and Katniss.
Raphael promptly accepted the offer, sitting with the two of them. "Thanks for the offer Amber, I do enjoy eating with my fellow soldiers." he thanked them as he began to eat, while Katniss had just gotten done devouring everything.
Max entered the cafeteria groggily soon after, quickly being greeted by Max. "You had an inadequate amount of sleep judging by the look on your face. What is troubling you now?" Yvette asked him, pulling out her notebook to jot anything important down.
"Everything, Alex is attempting to outdo me in evil trickery, I'm having nightmares again, and my back is stiff!" Max complained, while Yvette wrote down each of them on a page of her notepad.
Yvette tapped her pencil to her forehead for a moment, quickly coming up with a solution. "Why don't you try to come up with some kind of scheme to show that you're much more of a threat than he is then? That'll ensure you gain the respect you deserve." Yvette suggested, a smirk growing on her face.
The idea right away clicked with Max, rubbing his hands together evilly now. "Of course! That'll do it! I'm such a genius!" Max took the plan, right away thinking of needlessly complicated schemes as he went to go get his food.
-Confessional: Max-
"If I can make Alex and the others fear me, then they'll have no choice but to do as I say! They would be too terrified to vote for me, because I am pure eeeeeevil! Mwahahahaha!"
-End Confessional-
There wouldn't be much time for Yvette or Max to eat however, as the cruise ship came to a sudden stop and Chris entered the cafeteria. He didn't have any props with him today from the looks of it, just normally dressed. "Hello travelers! Sorry to cut your best breakfast yet short, but we've arrived at our stop for today and we're going to need to get right to it!" Chris announced, earning a groan from just about everyone.
"Can we get a few more minutes? I actually wanna finish this for once." Marty requested, before eating another spoonful of oatmeal.
Chris shook his head, snapping his fingers. On cue, Chef would come by and snatch everyone's trays. "So the great breakfast was just a mean prank wasn't it? None of us got to finish it even!" Amber raised an eyebrow, now realizing that their breakfast was indeed to good to be true.
"Well, Katniss finished her breakfast at least." Raphael pointed out, since Katniss happily handed her empty tray back to Chef.
Chris walked over to the cafeteria door, gesturing for everyone to step out. "Pretty much! That stuff came from craft services. I.E, for me, myself, and Chef!" Chris answered Amber's question, surprising no one at this point.
The seven contestants all got up from their seats and walked out the cafeteria to now see the artificial island of Pahkitew in front of them. Max was disgusted by the island, and the others all recognized it. "So we're using this place for a challenge huh? Did you run of countries to invade?" Marty asked Chris as they walked to the off-ramp and stepped down.
"No, we just finally got the island back online in a stable state. We have complete control over it now, so it is perfectly usable for challenges! We'll be using it for next season, so we're just using today as a little test run." Chris answered, pulling out a controller identical to the one that Yvette had built, although it lacked a touchscreen.
When they walked down onto the small beach of the island, they were greeted by four guests this time, none of which looked happy to be here. "Helping us today are Shawn, Sky, Sugar, and Jasmine!" Chris introduced the four former contestants, being the final four from Total Drama Pahkitew Island.
Max nervously gulped as he saw them, but was still thankful Chris cut it off at four. "Why so many guests today? Or have you just kept them all trapped here?" Amber asked, expecting the worst from Chris.
Sugar decided to answer for Chris, being the only one actually excited to be here. "Nope! We're here to help with y'all's challenges! Yer gonna have a tough time getting your invisibility with us in the way!" Sugar pointed at herself, to which Chris nodded in agreement with her.
"Basically what she said. You all have individual challenges today tailored to yourself handling your worst fears! Complete it, and you get immunity in tonight's vote! Simple as that!" Chris explained the challenge, pulling out a clipboard and looking over what each contestant had to do.
Sky stepped forward now, already aware of who she would be dealing with. "Chris wants to use the island to create your individual challenges, just to get as many tests as possible. Good luck to all of you!" Sky told them, to which Raphael raised a fist in the air.
-Confessional: Raphael-
"I have a lot of respect for Sky as a contestant and as a person. Being someone who always sets forth to play a fair game while still being able to win earns plenty of extra points in my book! She serves our great country in the Olympics as well, so she does her part!"
-End Confessional-
"So who is supposed to go first? Is this all just random?" Amber asked worriedly with her hand raised, since Chris mentioning their "worst fears" brought some concern.
Chris already had his eyes closed and was randomly tapping his finger on spots of the paper on the clipboard. "Yup, there is no rigging here! Which means that our first challenger is... Raphael!" Chris answered, opening his eyes and seeing that his finger had stopped on Raphael's picture.
For probably one of the only times ever since Guyana, Raphael looked nervous. "Me? How did you even find our fears?" Raphael shuddered, worried that Chris had actually found out what his fear was.
Chris pressed a button on his controller, and a path between the woods the beach bordered opened up for them to walk through. "We had our ways. Some of our interns got in contact with people you know, some of you have made it blatantly obvious throughout the season, and one of you we just had to make a guess on." Chris told them as he lead everyone through the artificial trail in the woods. The trees in front of them just went down into the ground to easily make room for them to walk.
As they walked, Raphael looked to the Pahkitew veterans with awe and walked alongside them instead. "So Shawn, what did you do with your money?" Raphael asked him, admiring the zombie nut plenty as well.
"I got Jasmine and I a nice zombie bunker in Austrailia. It's got the works. Electric fence, moat, fakeout entrance, a saferoom in a saferoom in a saferoom, everything! Our mailman hates it, but we'll be ready for the zombie apocalypse!" Shawn listed off what they had, while Jasmine giggled at her boyfriend's obsession.
Raphael was impressed at all the measures taken, although he didn't expect any less from someone like Shawn. "That's great to hear! Is that all the money was used for?" Raphael further asked, since Shawn supposedly was going to split it with Jasmine.
"We also used it for my flower shop and dojo! It's goin' pretty swell mate! Shawn let me use most of the money actually. His stuff turned out to be a lot cheaper than we though." Jasmine replied, nudging Shawn's shoulder at the mention of the price.
Shawn chuckled, rubbing the back of his head afterwards. "Yeah, can't believe we almost broke up over that here! But we're going plenty strong!" Shawn recalled when he nearly ruined their relationship since he wanted all of the prize money for his bunker.
While Raphael, Shawn and Jasmine continued to converse, Yvette was walking at the back of the group, restraining herself from saying anything to them. Besides Chris and Max, the four guests here today were at the top of her list. She had her controller with her, although it was hidden in her blouse so the others wouldn't see it or accidentally notice it. "Chris. Are you certain the frequencies on the island can't be intercepted with in any given circumstance? After rebooting, the island is likely susceptible to broadband issues that could lead to malfunction." Yvette asked the host, more for her own info.
Chris looked back at her, perplexed by the wording of the question. Yvette saw his face and rolled her eyes, adjusting her glasses afterwards. "Forget I asked." Yvette said, not in the mood to simplify her questions today.
-Confessional: Chris-
"In hindsight, yes we edit these confessionals in after filming, I should have paid more attention to that, among other things. But not my problem! I still get paid!"
-End Confessional-
A ways down the path, they arrived in a clearing with a cage right in the center. "Okay Raphael, your challenge is to stay in this cage for a whole minute! That's all you have to do!" Chris stated, making the challenge for him vague.
Not knowing what it was, Raphael just stepped inside the iron bar cage that was a ten square foot cube. "I'll do it. Can't risk elimination and also be a coward. The guys back home wouldn't let me hear the end of it!" Raphael said with determination, although he was still scared on the inside.
He had plenty of reason to be scared though, as Chris pressed a button on his controller and a massive scorpion rose out of the ground. The cadet was petrified by the sight of it, backing up against the bars of the cage without saying a word. "Come on Raph! Chris wouldn't let us die, so you're fine!" Amber cheered him on, seeing how scared he was.
"Actually, I can. You all signed a contract. A million bucks is a looooot of money!" Chris informed them, grinning as he did so since that just scared Raphael even more.
The giant scorpion took up a third of the cage, and it quickly tried to stab Raphael. "It's not real man! Just run from it like it's a zombie!" Shawn yelled at Raphael, trying to give him some advice, since all of the animals on Pahkitew Island were actually robots.
Raphael sidestepped away from the pincer of the scorpion, now running to the other end of the cage. "It looks pretty real to me! It'll definitely hurt like a real one!" Raphael shouted as he jumped out of the way again as the scorpion tried to stab him.
Alex watched Raphael avoiding it with annoyance, before an idea then popped into his head. "Why don't you try and take it down then! It can't be that tough, since scorpions are supposed to be all squishy!" Alex suggested loudly as the scorpion started to move towards Raphael and try to corner him.
Raphael decided to take his advice and gave the massive scorpion a kick to the face, although it did nothing since it was made of metal. Raphael winced from the pain of kicking it, stumbling backwards into the bars and then falling then. "Gah... it's a robot alright!" Raphael held his foot for a moment and squeezed it to try and ease the pain.
The scorpion just closed in further to try and stab the cadet, but it's pincer missed as Raphael rolled out of the way. The scorpion began to take quick jabs, but none of them hit Raphael as he continued to roll on the ground. He didn't have time to stand up, so this was all he could do. He eventually rolled against the side of the cage and had nowhere left to go. "Want me to stop it Raphael? You'll lose the challenge!" Chris offered, snickering as he hovered his finger over a button on his controller.
Raphael rolled to his right and avoided another stab narrowly while Chris called to him. Just as he was about to give up though, the timer ended and the scorpion stopped moving. "What the heck? You were going to stop it at the last second and make me lose?" Raphael asked as he stood up, now walking back out of the cage.
Chris shrugged, now pressing a button so that the scorpion would go back down into the ground, along with the cage soon after. "Pretty much! That's part of the fun isn't it? It would have been infuriating if you took that offer, which is great for ratings!" Chris responded, while everyone else was unamused by his attempt.
-Confessional: Raphael-
"I'm a bit worried for the others now. I had to face my biggest fear, albeit a robot one. Actual scorpions are much scarier, since they can scurry everywhere and catch you off guard. Then you're already on your deathbed before you even know it!"
-Confessional: Marty-
"I can't wait to see what Chris throws at Alex. He still won't get what he deserves, but it's something."
-End Confessionals-
Now that Raphael's challenge was out of the way, Chris led everyone down yet another path that popped up out of nowhere. "Amber is up next, and we'll just be throwing Yvette's challenge that we had planned for her. So Yvette, tell us, what scares you the most?" Chris asked the nerd now, and Amber looked at Yvette with plenty of concern. Not once had she seen the nerd get nervous now that she thought about it.
"Wearing high heels and walking on a minefield. It is illogical and cannot be handled in a strategic manner that would normally allow for a task to be completed." Yvette answered quickly, recalling the challenge that Lindsay had skipped out on in the first season. Because it hadn't even been seen, it just left more uncertainty up in the air on how to approach it.
Chris nodded and pressed a couple of buttons on his controller. He stopped everyone from walking any further while Sky now pulling a pair of high heels out of a bag. "Good luck Amber. The mines won't kill you, so don't worry too much!" Sky tried to assure Amber as she took the boots and put them on.
"Why do I have to do this challenge? Isn't this for Yvette?" Amber asked, gesturing the person at hand. Yvette was also curious about this, but she only assumed that Chris had something else up his sleeve.
Chris snickered as he looked at Yvette, but he held himself back from delivering the news just yet. "Let's just say Chef and I came up with something quick after watching her audition tape. By the way, we didn't mean audition tape literally. You could have just sent us a dvd like everyone else instead of an actual tape." Chris said, a bit of animosity directed towards her.
Amber sighed as it looked like there was no way out of this. There was giving up, but that was just way too risky at the moment. "So I just have to walk across the rest of this path?" Amber asked, her legs wobbling as she tried to stand up straight in the heels.
Chris nodded, before picking up a branch and tossing it out onto the path in front of them. It hit a seemingly blank spot on the ground, but it caused a mine below to blow up. It was a decent size explosion too, which now made Amber actually scared. "Why couldn't I have just gotten something with my fear..." Amber muttered to herself as she took a few steps forward.
"Cuz' your fear is gettin' fired from yer job! Ain't no way we can do that!" Sugar chimed in after hearing Amber muttering, which answered it for everyone else who was wondering why Chris decided to just make a switch on challenges.
-Confessional: Amber-
"When I'm done with this show, me and my lawyers are going to go through and try to find every single thing we can sue Chris for. Every. Single. One."
-End Confessional-
Amber now stepped onto the minefield path while everyone was now 10 feet behind her, out of the way of any blasts. "You're gonna pay for this Chris!" Amber shook a fist at the host as she began to traverse the path.
Everyone watched silently as Amber took her first few steps, not setting off any mines yet. She was trying to stay on her tiptoes, but the heels made it nearly impossible to keep her balance as she continued to wobble around on them. "These heels are so tight! Why are they so small!?" Amber complained, since the heels she had on looked to be a size or two too small on her.
Chris chuckled again, enjoying her misery. "Well they were Yvette's shoe size, and we already had ordered them, sooooo... yeah. Just makes it more challenging!" Chris answered, before pushing a button on his controller and setting off one of the mines nearby Amber.
As soon as it went off, Amber let out a shriek and jumped away from it, causing her to trip on her heels and fall back onto another mine. "YOU ARE THE WORST CHRIS!" Amber screamed as she was launched up by the mine, landing on the other end of the path.
"Looks like Amber wins her challenge! That was quick, but a teen was caught in an explosion so I'll take it!" Chris announced, laughing to himself afterwards.
Alex wasn't too big of a fan of Amber getting immunity like that and crossed his arms. "Well she stepped on a mine, doesn't that mean she actually lost the challenge instead of winning it?" Alex asked him, hoping to change Chris's decision.
Chris shrugged, then putting a check mark next to Amber's name on his clipboard. "Eh. She got really hurt, so that's really funny! I'll give her the win for that!" Chris responded, bending the rules as always.
Jasmine and Katniss hurried over to Amber after Chris deactivated the mines with his controller. "Hey Jazz, take her to the infirmary on the ship. Then come right back here, since you'll probably need to pick up more of these guys!" Chris ordered, before creating another path to the next challenge.
"Why didn't you just make the paths in advance? This all seems like you haven't tested any of it." Marty asked as they now followed Chris to their next challenge.
"That's because we haven't. You're our guinea pigs! Speaking of guinea pigs, you're up next Katniss! So get over here!" Chris called to the wild girl who was still tending to Amber with Jasmine.
Katniss was walking behind Jasmine, who was carrying Amber in her arms. "Are you sure she'll be alright?" Katniss asked, since Amber had now passed out after landing on the ground from the explosion blast.
Jasmine gave Katniss a quick pat on the head, then giving her a comforting smile. "Don't worry about her mate, she'll be up and at it before ya know it!" Jasmine assured her, leaving the group to head to the head cruise ship afterwards.
-Confessional: Katniss-
"Oh I hope Amber doesn't end up with a busted leg again... she's my closest friend here! I don't think she could win if she had that."
-End Confessional-
Chris led everyone to what looked like a giant garden maze, completely unfitting given the 'wildlife' around them. "Alright Katniss, you've just gotta get from one end of the maze to the other." Chris told her, pointing to the nine foot tall hedge maze.
"What's the catch Chris? Or is a maze plenty tricky enough for Katniss to get through?" Alex asked, mocking Katniss along with it.
Katniss didn't get the joke, so lucky for Alex. "You are incorrect there Alex, there are traps hidden all throughout the maze! Beehives, pits, more mines, bear traps, you name it! Literally, name it. I can put it in there if I want." Chris grinned as he pressed a few more buttons on his control as he presumably added more traps inside the maze for Katniss to deal with.
Katniss stepped up to the entrance of the maze, hesitating on if she should actually do this. "So I just have to go to the other side right?" she asked, looking back at Chris for confirmation.
Chris gave a nod for a response, to which Katniss then darted into the maze. Still standing at the back of the group, Yvette now pulled out her own controller and looked at the maze layout on her touchscreen. She tapped on every single shrub within the maze, making them all lower to render the entire maze pointless. For extra measure, she tapped all of the traps and sent them back underground for Katniss's safety.
-Confessional: Yvette-
"What? Did you assume I was going to attempt something malicious with my contraption? I'm smart, not evil."
-End Confessional-
In the maze, Katniss was shocked to see all of the hedges disappear into the ground, wondering if this was some kind of trick by Chris to make her lose. She took a few careful steps over where one of the hedges had been, but nothing happened. No mines, nothing popped out of the ground, no traps at all. "Huh? Well this makes things easy!" Katniss laughed as she now made a beeline to the exit of what was now essentially a tall hedge square.
Chris was about to walk off to get a drink for himself when Katniss ran out the other side of the maze unscathed, baffling almost everyone. "She made it through!?" Chris sputtered, in disbelief she made it through that fast.
Since he still couldn't believe that Katniss was able to make it through the maze like that, Chris walked over to the entrance on the side of the square and looked inside, flabbergasted to see that the entire maze was just gone. "What the- are you kidding me!? It malfunctioned! Ugh... I'm going to have to get some interns on that one." Chris grumbled to himself before he walked back over to the others waiting, now with Katniss rejoining the group.
Yvette had already hid her controller back in her blouse by the time Chris walked back over to them, and the host now just looked upset that one of the contestants got a win injury free. "Well that was a waste. Katniss gets her immunity I guess. Let's just move on to the next part of the challenge. Marty, you're up to bat next." Chris said, with a lot less energy than before.
Right away, it became apparent that Marty was terrified of whatever challenge Chris had prepared for him. "Umm, can I just skip out on mine right now? I know what it is I think." Marty requested quietly, while Alex grinned at his cowardice.
Normally Chris would have put up more of a fight on trying to get Marty to do a challenge, but right now he was just depressed the maze he put so much effort into designing was just wiped away. "Yeah sure. We were just gonna have you wrestle a giant spider, but you're eligible for elimination now I guess." Chris said, accepting Marty's plea to not do anything.
-Confessional: Marty-
Marty let out a sigh of relief, emphasizing his relief by making a wiping gesture from his forehead. "I dodged a bullet with that one! Didn't think I was going to be able to get out of that one! Spiders give me the heebie jeebies man."
-End Confessional-
Marty pumped a fist in the air after hearing that he wouldn't have to do his challenge. "Sweet. So who is supposed to go up next?" Marty asked, now looking at the three who hadn't done their challenge yet.
Chris looked over the clipboard, just lazily picking the person below Marty on his list. "Max..." Chris mumbled, but then his mood quickly shifted now that they had gotten to Max's challenge. "Yes, it's time for Max's challenge! Woo, that's one way to get me pumped!" Chris announced, his signature smile back on his face.
"You sure get over stuff fast." Raphael commented, noting the mood swings from Chris.
"Get over what? Let's hurry on now, this next one is gonna be good!" Chris disregarded Raphael's comment, creating yet another path in the woods for everyone to follow him down.
The group followed Chris, while Max grew worried over why Chris was so excited to do his challenge. "Sidekick! How will I beat this trial?" Max asked Yvette, who quickly scowled at the nickname.
"Just perform whatever task Chris asks of you. It is highly probable that your skillset with come to fruition as you face your fear." Yvette told him, keeping her polite exterior up and holding back from snapping at him.
The contestants continued to walk behind Chris, the forest seeming absolutely massive. "Jeez Chris, how big even is this forest? I feel like we've covered a good chunk of the island!" Marty asked, since it was nearly impossible to tell how big it actually was. All the trees looked pretty much the same, which just made things more difficult.
"Oh I just made everything except the areas we are using covered in trees. Chef and I haven't decided what the next season will be themed yet. Maybe snow, maybe desert, who knows?" Chris replied, before finally stopping as they reached another clearing.
In front of them was a pit of spikes and a rope dangling above it, hanging from a tree. "This one is pretty straight forward! But if Max messes this one up, then he'll be hurting more than Amber! You just have to take the rope and swing across the pit. We couldn't really figure out what you were scared of, so we just decided to give you something that would really really hurt!" Chris stated, while Max looked down into the pit and shuddered.
-Confessional: Max-
"That lucky son of an angel! How did that fool know I was terrified of the very traps I like to make! The whole point of traps like that is so that anyone who dares face my evil pays the price! This is unfair, heresy!
-End Confessional-
Max looked over the pit and grabbed the rope, shuddering as he tried not to look down at what would skewer him if he were to mess this up. The pit was ten feet long, so it would take a big swing to actually get him across. Yvette walked up next to him, analyzing the situation. "This is a troubling predicament isn't it? Perhaps you could use some assistance?" Yvette offered him, which relieved Max quickly.
Max held the rope with one hand now as he turned to look at her. "That would be excellent, now what must I do to get across this? Hurry up now, we don't have forever!" Max demanded, still being rude despite being the one who needed help.
Yvette took the rope from him and showed him how he should hold it, with her hands going above her head. "You have to hold it like so. Keep your hands above your head at all times, otherwise gravity takes care of that for you. As you swing, lean in the direction you are going to build momentum. Once you feel you are far enough, release the rope and allow the momentum to propel you the few extra feet you need to make it to the other side." Yvette explained, then handing the rope back to Max.
Max tried to match the pose that Yvette had showed him, although it was a bit difficult with how short he was. He hopped up and tried to leap across the pit on the rope, but he only went so far before he began to swing back towards where he started. "Gah! This is not what I planned!" Max shrieked as he now clutched the rope for dear life.
"If you fall in the pit you lose the challenge!" Chris shouted to Max, laughing to himself now that he had instilled more fear in Max.
Max tried to lean back and forth to move himself towards the other side, which slowly increased the distance the rope was swinging. "Keep swinging dude! Don't look down! Just imagine there's zombies down there!" Shawn encouraged Max, seeing the slow progress he was making to getting to the other side.
It wasn't like Max had any other choice, so he continued to swing back and forth on the rope, before finally letting go and hopping onto the ground on the other side of the pit. Chris dropped his pencil, dumbfounded that Max was somehow able to clear his challenge. "Max... gets immunity? Okay! Wasn't expecting that! Today is just full of surprises!" Chris announced, while Max stood up and proudly bowed, pretending as though he hadn't been screaming at all.
-Confessional: Shawn-
"Gotta give it to Max on that one. Little guy has gotten stronger since I last saw him! Still wouldn't survive the apocalypse obviously."
-Confessional: Raphael-
"Max may be a nuiscance, but I am proud of him overcoming his challenge. Well done soldier!"
-End Confessionals-
Chris put a check mark next to Max's name on his clipboard, now moving on to the second to last challenge. "Okay, this next one is for Alex! We've got a special meal whipped up for you!" Chris grinned at the boy who had been more quiet today than he usually was.
Marty was grinning as well, ready to see Alex suffer in his challenge. "Looks like you're gonna get served!" Marty taunted Alex, who just ignored him and kept his attention on Chris.
"What's this meal supposed to be? It's not poisonous is it?" Alex asked, keeping his cool for the time being and waiting for Chris to say what it was.
Chris didn't answer the question though, as Sugar now brought out a large jug with very old meat inside. "Ya get juggy chunks! Ye really lucked out on yer challenge, just a free meal!" Sugar exclaimed, before shoving the jug into Alex's hands.
Alex's face turned a little green as he looked at the meat floating in some kind of green liquid in the jug, unsure if he could even do this. But one look at Marty's face told him that he pretty much had no choice but to eat it. "Where did you even get this? I thought you got rid of all of them after you poisoned your contestants." Alex asked, keeping his eyes away from it so he could try to get the image out of his head.
Chris pointed at Sugar, looking grossed out himself. "Sugar had a whole stash of them, so it goes from Sugar's pantry to your stomach! Chug the whole thing in a minute and you get immunity!" Chris answered, now starting a timer.
Alex closed his eyes and right away ripped the disgusted band-aid off figuratively, tilting his head back and starting to chug the meat beverage/meal mixture. "That looks worse than some of the stuff sarge made us eat at camp!" Raphael commented, even him getting grossed out by it.
Alex continued to chug it with his eyes closed, shuddering and twitching every other second as he did so. "He should not be eating that. What a fool!" Max mocked Alex, getting a quick elbow to the arm from Sky.
"It's his challenge, he has to. The least you could do it just be quiet as he does his." Sky told him, knowing exactly how those juggy chunks tasted. Of everyone present, only Sugar wasn't grossed out.
Not even half of a minute had passed yet when Alex threw the jug down at the ground, completely done with it. He opened his mouth to say something, twitching fairly violently from what he had just ate. But nothing came out except for vomit which prompted everyone to back away from him. "Well, you got immunity dude. Plus you can head back to the ship now to get your stomach pumped. You really don't want that stuff in your system." Chris told Alex, addressing him seriously for once. They did not need another lawsuit.
-Confessional: Alex-
Alex was sitting on the toilet with his arms crossed over his stomach, his cheeks rather green. "Ugh... I... had to. Screw you... Marty."
-End Confessional-
Once Alex walked away, Chris checked his name off before looking at the final contestant in front of him. "Alright Yvette, you've got a pretty simple challenge! Wrestle with Sugar! Pin her down and you win, get pinned and you lose!" Chris stated, while Sugar grinned at the nerd.
Yvette looked at Sugar, who quickly struck fear in her, knowing how she fought. "Seriously? Sugar?" she asked, backing away slowly.
Chris nodded his head, amused to finally see Yvette in a somewhat nervous state. "You bet Yvette! Now get to it!" Chris told her, confirming who her opponent was.
"Come on sissy, I ain't gonna hurt ya too bad! Yer gonna go down!" Sugar threatened, still smiling at Yvette.
"I decline." Yvette quickly responded without hesitation, quickly understanding why Chris switched her challenge.
Chris shook his head, pointing at Sugar afterwards. "Nope! This is the last challenge of the day, and I don't need anyone wussing out on the last one! So fight!" Chris demanded, clapping his hands twice to tell her to get things going.
Before Yvette could even look back over at Sugar, the farm girl tackled the nerd to the ground and grabbed her long hair, quickly tying it around her arms behind her back. "That's how you pin a nerd! They always got 'dem long hair!" Sugar cheered for herself, now sitting on top of Yvette.
While Sugar sat on top of Yvette's back, the weight and pressure from her caused the controller Yvette had tucked away to split in half underneath her body. "I'd prefer if you would just get off. This straining of my hair is unnecessary." Yvette requested, trying to wiggle out from under Sugar.
"Well that was pathetically quick! You might as well have wussed out! So no immunity for you either!" Chris laughed as Sugar got up, leaving Yvette with her hands tied behind her by her hair on the ground still.
Yvette sighed in disappointment, while Katniss ran over to help her out. "Here you go! Sad you didn't win." Katniss said, also disappointed.
Yvette stood up after Katniss untied her hair, dusted herself off and feeling the broken controller as soon as she did so. "Thank you for your assistance Katniss." Yvette thanked her, now stretching her body just a little bit.
Chris marked an X on his clipboard next to Yvette's name, now looking disappointed himself. "Well more of you got invincibility than I would have liked. But you all still have to vote someone off! You know who's immune and who isn't, so meet me in the elimination ceremony area of this island tonight when you're done voting!" Chris announced after looking at who was invincible, then creating yet another path right back to the cruise ship for everyone to walk down to go vote first.
-Confessional: Raphael-
"This is a tough vote. Although in the end, I believe it comes down to a matter of respect!"
-Confessional: Alex-
"I can't... decide who I... want gone more. I'll probably go with Yvette since my secret it out. She has no dirt on me anymore. Max was an easy vote too."
-Confessional: Yvette-
Yvette showed her broken controller to the camera, looking very angry. "This is unbelievable, beyond infuriating! Who knows what else I could have controlled with that! Everything was on that screen, and it just had to be broken before the challenge ended!"
-Confessional: Amber-
Amber had an armcast on, as well as a few bandages wrapped around her forehead. "Alex got immunity? Well, girls' alliance let's go!"
-End Confessionals-
Later that night, all of the final seven had gathered in front of the bonfire in the elimination ceremony area of Pahkitew Island, sitting on the two wooden benches present. In the back row was Yvette, Max, Alex, and Raphael in that order from left to right. In the front row was Katniss, Amber, and Marty. The bonfire in front of then burned on while only silence existed between the group. Their votes had been cast, and now that just awaited the results.
Chris walked up the hill and onto the cliff, making his way to the front of the fire with a trap of six marshmallows. "Final seven, anyone is up for grabs! Or it would be like that if so many of you didn't win immunity. Whatever, I got plenty of testing on the island, so I still get paid even more!" Chris laughed, since that was pretty much the whole point of the challenge, just to serve as a test for Pahkitew.
The host grabbed the first marshmallow off of the tray, eyeing the seven contestants. "You know the rules, and so do IIIIII! If you don't get a marshmallow, you're out! If the votes tie, you're both out! I'm making that a new rule going forward, since it makes things way easier on the budget." Chris chuckled, instilling fear in some, since that just made strategizing way harder. "Marshmallows go to..."
"Amber."
"Alex."
"Max."
"Katniss."
"Raphael."
Chris tossed the five of them their marshmallows, since they had all won immunity in their challenges. "Yeah. Not very surprising. Maybe some more of you should have been cowards!" Chris scolded those with marshmallows, although none of them cared.
Yvette sat with her hands on her lap, looking over at Marty briefly. "Regardless of which of us goes. I must say you were a fine competitor." Yvette complimented Marty, which confused him a little as to why she was saying that now of all times.
Chris looked at the two of them, grabbing the final marshmallow from the tray and then tossing the tray aside. "Marty. You've ran out of allies, and you've been giving Alex the cold shoulder today. Not sure if that warrants elimination since it's Alex! Yvette, you uhh... you're the other option." Chris said, unsure of what to say about the nerd who just continued to stare straight at Chris. "Okay, the final marshmallow of the night goes too...

Chris tossed the final marshmallow to Yvette, who caught it and ate it after giving it a couple squeezes. "Seriously? Me!? What did I even do to you guys!? I've already lost so much, now you're voting me off!?" Marty stood up from his seat, shocked by the results.
Katniss laughed, now perfectly okay with revealing what happened. "We've got a girls alliance, and now none of you can stop us!" Katniss told him, putting her hands on her hips proudly.
"Katniss! You weren't supposed to just tell them like that!" Amber tried to hush her, but it was too late now. Everyone there now knew.
Marty crossed his arms, glaring at the three girls he thought voted for him. "Whatever! I'll finally get to say hi to Summer at least. I'm worried about her. I'll tell her you all said hi." Marty didn't even try to refute, since he had quite honestly had enough of all this.
Raphael gave Marty a quick salute, getting up from his seat. "Farewell soldier! You played a strong game! We'll take care of Alex for you!" Raphael waved goodbye to him, making Alex roll his eyes.
"I'm still right here you know." Alex grumbled, looking up at Raphael.
"Oh we know." Amber said coldly, crossing her arms. "You lucked out this time, but you'll be going in that cannon before you know it." Amber threatened him, ready to take him out in the next challenge.
Chef led Marty to the Cannon of Shame that was perched on the cliff of Pahkitew Island, giving him a parachute before helping him in. "It's still a cannon, so it works for this season. Any last words?" Chris asked Marty, holding the button to launch the cannon.
"Fire!" Marty raised a fist, before Chris pressed the button and launched him off.
Chris watched Marty fly off into the distance, then looking towards the camera. "Well I was expecting some more anger there, but that wraps that up! Who will crumble in the final six? Will Alex skate by again? Find out next time, on Total, Drama-" Chris began the outro, but then a loud thunk was heard.
Yvette's broken controller was discarded off in the woods, and it now began to malfunction, setting off an earthquake and making a bunch of the trees fall into the ground. A forest fire started up, it began to snow, and no one knew what was going on. "Oh no not again. We'll fix these technical difficulties! Until then, see you next time on Total-" Chris began to outro again, but was hit in the head by a massive snowball.
Then an electric sign popped up in front of all the contestants with a timer on it. That's when a digitized voice began to speak. "One hour until self destruct..."

Wabam! That title sure faked you all out huh? That's it for Marty! I know it seems a little forced, but he was pretty much the only one that would make sense to just go. I know a lot of you predicted Alex would go, but he's the big bad! His work ain't done yet. But yeah, Marty had quite the plot this season, being in the center of a love triangle. He'll have more for sure, but without anyone else and without a plotline remaining besides getting revenge on Alex (which others can do), he was the obvious pick from my perspective. After this next episode we'll have an Aftermath, so look forward to that! We've got plenty of guests and drama to sort out there! I hope you all enjoyed this episode and have a good day! Please be sure to leave a review, the feedback always helps!
Man, these reviews are pretty EXPLOSIVE!
NightwolfGamer3: You probably won't be reading this, nor do I care if you will at this point. This is more of a response for everyone to see since others noticed the massive amount of salt here. Your OC got 8th. I told you several times (and likely your alt accounts that threatened me with my address), that Wolfy was going to have a Beth situation and go out this season to the big bad, then win the next. You guilt tripped, threatened, begged repeatly, only left positive feedback when Wolfy succeeded. and all I can say is thanks. Thanks for making the next season have an interesting finale, since Wolfy won't be a part of it whatsoever. Apologies to anyone who was a fan of her, but I can't bring myself to write Wolfy after this whole debacle.
Alexneushoorn: Thanks for noticing the trick! But yeah, Raphael is in a good spot right now after his development. The only thing really in his way in the girls' alliance. Alex also isn't done with his villainy just because he got busted, he has plenty more to do. (in this season and others). I have been reading TD Audacious Alpines (a fic that all of you should read btw it's a really cool concept, and just wanna say that Boris is great. I've only seen him in that first episode and he's a great "Total Drama" character. That can be said about all the characters you make to be honest. Sorry for gushing, but keep up that creativity (and maybe let me use Boris in a future season he seems really fun).
MatiasND aka 'a: Yeah, both immunity idols I've already gave away who has them. Alex's was a bit obvious, and maybe the other one is as well now that I mention it. Also nothing went wrong this episode right? Right?
Attackin2: Surprised you were a fan of Tristan. Not many people were fond of him based on reviews. Although the same could be said of Scott (although I think that's just salty Dawn fans). As for Alex's reveal, it's Total Drama, in an actual show, someone like Alex would realistically never blow their cover. It's a bit forced, but it had to be done. It's the first season, so no one had any reason to suspect him besides Noah, who Alex had already gotten rid of. Also your final five prediction was actually just slightly off, but we all know what's going to happen now.
xxPrincxsxx: Sorry that you didn't like how Laurie was handled. This isn't going to be her only season. I wanted to have her more sensitve side be shown first before I really show what she's made of. (yeah I noticed that a lot of SYOCs are just one and done seasons, so it's perfectly reasonable to be upset at first.)
Nobody245: Surprise surprise, no double elimination! Also keep in mind that Tristan still had some blackmail on Yvette with the hot air balloon, so she had to get rid off him before that blew up. Tristan will be back in another season, although I'm not sure if he'll be a villain again. Thanks for the review!
Candela Monsoon: Raphael is becoming the crowd favorite it seems lol. I'm glad Alex's immunity was a surprise still, I tried to just distract away from it after it was revealed. Katniss as a prediction isn't that unlikely. I won't confirm or deny obviously, but she definitely has the same finalist energy as someone like Owen.
Girlpower54: All good! I'm just glad at least one of my old fans stuck around! Also glad you like how Alex and Vanya went. I'm never to sure if I did well when it comes to early boots. Alex did get lucky did chapter, although it was him actually doing a challenge and earning immunity unlike the plot armor someone like Heather had. Raphael for a winner prediction huh? Well he is in a good spot, so you'll just have to wait and see!
You all saw Marty's audition already, so at the sorta request of Attackin2, here's Yvette's!
The camera would turn on to Yvette in her room while sitting at her desk in her normal outfit. In front of her was an open book about black holes on her desk. There were various tubes and flasks on it as well filled with different colors of bubbling liquid as well as several bunsen burners. Her room was mostly set up like a typical classroom lab. Behind her was a periodic table poster, with red Xs marked on Tungsten, Iridium, and Steel. On the floor against the wall were several broken children's dolls. She also had a globe with knives stabbed on Jamaica, the United States, Paraguay, and Mongolia.
Yvette would then would adjust her glasses before beginning to speak. "My parents named me Yvette. A name derived from the French occupational name referring to an archer." she would put both her hands on the desk now on top of each other. "Personally, I have far greater expectations for myself. The prize money would guarantee that I am able to attend any university of my choosing. While the Total Drama series is popular, I blame it and other internet sensations for the behavior of today's youth. I thank the selection committee for their time." After that, the video would end.
