Disclaimers: I own nothing except Jack and his story arc.
AlphaGodzilla19: Yes, she used Kryptonite. She poisoned his food with it.
Rosebud66: Thanks, nice to know you guys like this. Happy reader, happy writer.
Alan: Not likely, sorry.
Guest 1: Sorry, fixed that.
Tommy: Not exactly.
Oliver: I do know who Zod is but as I've seen him in "Krypton" and some animated movies/shows. I didn't know about the other two though, so thanks.
Billy: I'm not going to spoil things like that. You'll have to wait and see. Also, thanks Billy, but I've got this.
Crossovercomic: I honestly have no idea what I'm doing suit wise.
Guest 2: No, I'm not changing it, it is how I planned it to be. I do consider all your ideas, but I have a plan which I'm following, and I might read one of your reviews and think, "Hey, that's actually a better idea" but otherwise I go with my idea, which I am doing. Soon, Jack will find out about his Kryptonian history. A lot of his story arc for a bit will be about how he deals with the fact that he's been poisoned and slowly but surely dying. And I am not changing that. Batwing, I dunno. Maybe. No, I have a solid plan for how Jack will find out about his origins. Also, for your mention on Adora's origins, I liked how the show did it and will do hers like that, but Jack's will be earlier because that just feels better. Jack will have plenty of story arcs across my six seasons. The remainder of this one will be very vital to Jack, season 2 will be about Jack figuring out who he is, Kryptonian or Etherian? Season 3 he'll mostly be just supporting Adora. Season 4 will have him going under this amazing story I can't stand to spoil. And I won't do the same for season five or six, but he'll be majorly involved. He'll have plenty of story after the reveal of his origins.
Guest 3: I don't want to spoil the surprise. But it won't be soon and it will be mostly the same with some big differences.
Victor: He got pulled into a wormhole which sent him to the pocket dimension that Etheria's in.
Johnny: Yeah, probably.
Guest 4: I'll consider nicknaming having Catra nickname him that.
Ken: I love your idea for livewire. It'd be nice to see more jealous Adora. I'll probably do it in either season 2. Most likely season 2 as that's when Jack and Adora get together.
Doom Slayer: Yeah, I agree.
Guest 5: Why? I didn't find anything wrong with Bow's family.
Zack: Soon, very soon.
Hunter: It'll be some sort of old suit; I haven't decided which but it'll be an old version of the suit.
Guest 6: Maybe, I dunno. I might.
Jaker: Time will tell.
Chapter 9: No princess left behind
I feel a stinging pain in my chest as I get up. "Hey, hey, hey. Easy," Adora says.
"What happened?" I ask, as I sit up and look at Adora, Perfuma, my Mom, and Mermista all in my room. I then scream as I get a big head ache. I grip my head in pain. I then start remembering.
I then punch Catra in the face which looks like it hurt a bit but no were near as much so since, it should've sent her flying and knock her out. She then swings her claws at me and surprisingly pierce my skin. I groan in pain.
"Jack!" Adora shouts.
"What, Kryptonian, cat got your tongue?" Catra quips, smirking. I head-butt her, but she just drives her claws deeper causing me to growl in pain, and cough up blood.
"Catra! Stop, please, just stop!" Adora begs.
"All this could've been avoided if you'd just came back with me to the Horde when I first asked, but no. Now, I needed to kill him," Catra says.
She then pulls her claws out causing me to fall to the ground.
"I—I remember," I say. "I remember what that monster did to me," I add.
"It's okay, baby, everything is fine," my mom says.
I let go of my head to look at them. "W-Where's Glimmer? And Bow?" I ask, trying to mask my pain, but by the looks in my mother and friends eyes it obviously didn't work. They look away from me, all of them. "What happened?" I ask, rushing up to my feet but then falling back to the bed in pain.
"Catra she kidnapped them," Adora says.
"What!?" I shout, before groaning in pain.
"Easy, just stay calm," Adora says.
"Your monster of a best friend just kidnapped my sister. Don't tell me to calm down!" I snap. Adora looks away. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I don't know why—I don't know what's going on with me," I say.
"Let's go ask Entrapta," Adora says, putting her hand on my shoulder.
A guard then enters the room. "What is it," Queen Angella says.
"Sorry, your majesty, but Hordak just contacted us. He has some demands for Gimmer and Bows safe return and a cure for Jack's poison," a guard says
My mother turns to me. "Go, so you can tell Hordak to shove his offer up his a-," I say, but stop, groaning in pain. I wait for the pain to go down. "We'll go to Entrapta, see if she can do anything," I say.
"Alright," my mother says.
Time skip.
Adora, is acting as my crutch helps me to Entrapta. "Entrapta, what do you know," I ask.
"Well, I took your blood and I found something incredible. Your DNA is unlike anything I've ever seen. It's-," Entrapta says.
"Entrapta, now really isn't the time. Why am I feeling like this? Why am I in so much pain," I say, gripping my head in pain.
"Well, I don't know how but this material is going down inside your bloodstream, and its emitting a radiation at a frequency that interferes with your bioelectric fields," Entrapta says.
"Bio-electric fields?" I ask.
"Yeah, there what give you our powers," Entrapta explains, skipping over it, because she could see how much pain I'm in. "The radiation affects your nervous system and further weakens your ability to create and maintain your bio-electric field. The pain your feeling. It's from this radiation cells wilting under the barrage radiation. Your healing powers will slow it down, but it'll eventually kill you," Entrapta says.
"But you can fix it, right?" Adora asks.
"Like I said before, Jack's DNA it's unlike anything I've seen. I don't understand it. Neither do I understand whatever's poisoning him. There's just not enough time," Entrapta says.
"How much time do I have left," I ask.
"A couple of days, a week if you're lucky. But, if you use your powers, it'll mean your healing powers will have less fuel and it'll speed up your… your death," Entrapta says.
"There's gotta be a way to fix it. You've gotta fix it!" Adora shouts.
"It's okay, we'll figure something out," I say.
"How can you say it's okay? You're going to die!" Adora shouts.
"I have faith well figure something out. But shouting at people who are trying to help us isn't going to help any. I know, from yelling at you earlier. So, breath, Adora, breath," I say. She takes deep breaths. "Everything will be fine," I say, cupping the side of her face. "Okay?" I ask.
"Okay," Adora says. We just start to stare into each other's eyes. "We—We should probably go see your mom," Adora stutters.
"Oh, y-yeah," I stutter too. We reluctantly move a small distance, refraining from touching each other as we walk to the meeting room.
Time skip.
"Your majesty," Adora says, as she and me enter the room.
"Did Entrapta find a solution," my mom asks hopefully. Adora's head drops, while my words are caught in my throat. A tear falls down her face. "I should have never let either of you leave the castle. And now I'm faced with an impossible decision. As the leader of the Rebellion, how can I surrender myself to our enemy? But as a mother, how do I-?" my mom says to me. My mom sighs. "Hordak said that he has a cure. I'm going to accept his terms. You and Glimmer, you're all I have," my mom says, heartbroken.
"You can't. we have no guarantee the Horde will hold up their end of the bargain. We could end up losing you, too," Adora says.
"A rescue attempt is too risky. If we had She-Ra we might have had a chance, but without the sword of protection…," my mom says.
Adora sighs, and her hand balls into a fist at her words, the guilt she feels obvious on her face. "There has to be another way. We can't just give up. I can rescue them. I know the Fright Zone. I'll find a way to get them back," Adora says.
"How are you going to do that?" My mom asks.
"I… I don't know yet," Adora says.
"We'll think of something. We'll bring them back," I say.
"Absolutely not!" My mom shouts, while Adora just give me a dirty look. "You're dying! You absolutely will not go anywhere near the Horde!" My mom shouts.
"All I meant was helping Adora with the planning. I need to help somehow, mom. I can't just sit back, while my sister could be murdered any second. I need to help, no matter how much of a difference it makes. Please, mom," I say.
My mom's expression softened. "As long as you promise you will go nowhere near the Fright Zone," she says.
"I promise," I say. Both Adora and me bow before exiting. As we walk, Adora starts sobbing into her hand. I put my hand on her shoulder. We then see flowers fall from the sky and Adora catches one in her hand.
"Huh?" she asks. We see Perfuma, Mermista, Sea Hawk, Kaldur, and Entrapta all standing there. "What are you all doing here?" she asks.
"We're the princess Alliance. And the Horde took one of our own" Mermista says.
"We're ready for our first mission," Perfuma says.
"Let's get our friends back," Adora says.
Time skip.
Adora, Entrapta, Kaldur, Mermista, Sea Hawk, and me are sitting in a circle. "Okay, this is the Horde prison," Adora says, grabbing one of my sisters boots and putting in the middle of the circle. "Glimmer and Bow are being held inside. Entrapta, this perfume bottle is you," Adora says, placing down said perfume bottle. "Perfuma, you're nail polish," she adds, placing down the nail polish. "Mermista, lipstick," Adora adds, placing down the lipstick.
"Ew," Mermista says, picking up the lipstick, "do you know what that stuff is made of?" She then grabs out a knife. "I'll be this knife," she adds, replacing the knife with the lipstick.
"I feel Perfuma should be the perfume bottle. That makes the most logical sense," Entrapta replies, picking up a perfume bottle.
"Maybe I could be a flower," Perfuma replies.
"Could I be this miniature painted model of Bow?" Sea Hawk asks as he grabs out these miniature models of Bow, Adora, Glimmer and me.
"No. those represent Bow and Glimmer. And this one's mine," Adora says, and points to each person's respective figurine at the mention of their name. Everyone besides me gives her a questioning look. "Okay, just… Everyone focus!" Adora says. "our entry point will be here, near the Horde's scrapyard," Adora adds, pointing to a part of the shoe. "it's close to the prison and lightly guarded. Perfuma and Entrapta will access the security tower and wait for my signal to disable the lights. Mermista and Kaldur will access the Fright Zone's sewer system. They'll swim through the pipes into the buildings and open the door," Adora explains.
"I'm sorry, Mermista will what?" Mermista asks, giving Adora a look.
"I know it sounds bad, but you're the only one who can breathe underwater.
"Sea Hawk and I will take up position by the entrance. The two of us will neutralize the guards on patrol, Entrapta and Perfuma will regroup on our position and the team will enter when Mermista and Kaldur open the door.
"Excellent plan. Adventure!" Sea Hawk exclaims.
"One last question," I say, getting their attention. "What about my me," I say.
"What?" Adora asks.
"I'm going," I say.
Adora give me a look. "You told your Mom you wouldn't," she says.
"I lied," I say. Causing her to stare jaw dropped. Can't say I blame her since this is the first time I've ever lied to someone I care about. "Desperate times call for desperate measures," I say. Adora grabs me and pulls me out of the room.
"Have you lost your bloody mind! You're sick! You're… you're dying," Adora says.
"What I told my Mom about me needing to help Glimmer, that, that was the truth. I can't just wait and hope that you'll fix it. I…I can't loss my sister," I say.
"And I can't loss you!" Adora shouts. "I thought you died. I thought I lost you. I just… I can't go through that again," she says.
"Look, I'm going whether you allow me to or not. I'd gladly go on the skimmer with you and the others and rest, but if you don't let me, I'll fly all the way over there, even if it kills me," I say. She looked at me in shock. She studied my expression to find that I wasn't lying.
"Fine," Adora says, purposely bumping into me. I breath shakily, barely holding the tears in.
Time skip.
Adora, Sea Hawk and me are hiding stuff, looking at the guards, guarding the door. "Mermista should be in place by now," Adora says. Adora then uses a mirror to send flashes to Perfuma and Entrapta. A couple of seconds later, an alarm wails.
A guard gasps. "What happened?" the guard asks.
"We go on three," Adora says. "Ready? One-," Adora says.
Sea Hawk then jumps out from behind his cover, shouting, "Forward!" The guards turn to look at each other questioningly. Adora and me give him a look. Both guards grab out there zapping weapons. Adora and me charge at the guard. I pounce on one, knocking him onto the floor. I then see what Catra did to me in my head.
I then punch the guard in the face, again, and again, and again, letting out angry roars as I do so. "Jack stop!" Adora shouts. I take deep breaths in and out. I pick up the guard's weapon. Adora goes to the door and knocks waiting for a response, only to not get one.
"Where's Mermista?" Sea Hawk asks.
"She must've gotten held up. Come on. We need to secure these guards," Adora says to me and Sea Hawk.
Time skip.
As Adora and me put the guards somewhere hidden we see Scorpia headed towards Sea Hawk. Adora lets out a "psst" to warn him.
"Halt. Who are you?" Scorpia asks.
"Me? I'm the inspector. I'm here to inspect all the things," Sea Hawk says.
"Inspector?" Scorpia asks. "Inspector! Oh, of course. I must have forgotten you were coming. We are long overdue for an inspection, I do have to admit it, but I can assure you we are up to code," Scorpia says, walking away with Sea Hawk.
As soon as there gone, Adora runs out. "Wha…? How did this happen? We had a plan," Adora says.
"Actually, you kind of lost me at the perfume bottle," Entrapta says. We turn to see her and Perfuma standing there, Entrapta tied to a vine by Perfuma.
"Where have you two been?" Adora asks.
"I tried to get here sooner, but harmonious team work with Entrapta can be a challenge," Perfuma says.
"This isn't a game. It's the Horde. Glimmer and Bow are being held captive in this building, the sure for Jack's poisoning is in there and now Sea Hawk is gone," Adora all but shouts.
"Okay. All right, everyone calm down. Maybe we should try a simple breathing exercise," Perfuma suggests. She chuckles. She then puts her hands above her head in above her hand and does some yoga thingy. "Deep calm breaths," she says, before humming. She's interrupted by the alarm.
"Come on. We're going in," Adora says. Adora and me get into fighting stances, prepared for anything. The door opens and it's Mermista and Kaldur, drenched in garbage.
"Could you not?" she asks.
"Huh," Adora exclaims, shocked by their new appearance. "What happened to you?" she asks.
"Uh, the sewer happened to me," Mermista says. Entrapta reaches for some of Mermista's garbage, but she flicks her away.
"We can't waste any more time. Bow and Glimmer need us," Adora says. The four of us rush in the building.
"Can we get a thank you?" Mermista asks.
"Thank you," Adora says, dragging Mermista with her. We maneuver ourselves through the building. We then see shadows and here chattering, that's coming closer. She signals us to hide in this storage room. "We need to get to an information port. I'll hack into the database and identify the cell block Glimmer and Bow are being held in, and were the cure to Jack's poison is.
"Hey, where's geeky princess?" Mermista asks.
Perfuma lets out a nervous chuckle. "Okay, she is really putting a crimp in my harmony!" she shouts.
"don't worry. We'll find Entrapta and Sea Hawk, and we'll rescue Glimmer and Bow and get the cure for Jack," Adora says.
"I don't know. That sounds like a lot," Mermista says. Adora gives her a look. "But you know me, I'm totally up to anything," she says.
Time skip.
"okay, I found Bow's ceil, but I can't find Glimmer anywhere. They must be holding her somewhere else. This isn't good," Adora says.
"What… what about the cure?" I ask.
"I can't find any information on it either. Or whatever they poisoned you with," Adora says. We then see a robot enter through the door and see us.
"What should we do?" Perfuma asks.
"I am not going back in the sewers," Mermista says. Adora and me grab out our weapons we snatched off the Horde soldiers.
"It's okay, this is my new friend, Emily," Entrapta says, as she pokes her head out from behind the corner, and then patting the robot like a dog. "I reprogramed her," Entrapta says, then handing Sea Hawk to Mermista.
"Where have you been?" Perfuma asks angrily.
"Where have you been?" Entrapta replies.
"It doesn't matter. We're all together. Let's finish this," Adora says.
Time skip.
The guards are unconscious and trapped in vines. Entrapta stares at the controls to the prison in awe. "Bow's cell is in section B, level 20. We'll have to get him out first and then figure out where Glimmer is. Entrapta, can you get us up there?" Adora asks.
"Yes, I can. I mean, maybe. I don't know. I'm definitely gonna try," Entrapta says. Entrapta presses some buttons and causes this lift device to move down. Entrapta laughs. "This is gonna be fun," she exclaims.
"Okay, Sea Hawk, Perfuma, Kaldur, and Jack, you're with me," Adora says.
"I'll keep an eye on this one, in case she tries to befriend any more robots," Mermista says.
"On to the rescue!" Sea Hawk exclaims.
Time skip.
Adora, Kaldur, Perfuma, Sea Hawk and me walk onto a lift device. Adora gives Entrapta a thumbs up, signaling her to send us up. She does, but does so too fast and causes us all to scream. Entrapta stops the lift. We look down to see several Horde soldiers a feet meters below us, including Black Manta. Black Manta and this other Horde girl manage to jump onto the lift. "Entrapta," Adora says. The lift then starts again. Perfuma falls off.
"Perfuma," Sea Hawk exclaims as he tries and fails to grab her. She then uses her vines to grip his arm and stop her from falling to her death.
"Hang on," Adora says. She then dodges the woman's swing of her weapon.
"You think you can just come back here?" the woman asks, angrily. The woman then attacks two more times both of which Adora dodges, then letting out a third, which Adora blocks with her own weapon.
"I need to save my friends," Adora says.
"We were your friends," the woman replies.
Kaldur uses his water bearers to create a water sword, as I pull out my Horde weapon and Black Manta releases these blades from his gauntlet. "I heard you went to dance with the mermaid. Good, I'll kill you, and then I'll kill her," Black Manta says.
"Good luck with that," I reply. He swings his blade at me. I dodge it. Kaldur swings his blade at Manta but he blocks it with his own. I then swing my weapon at Manta and he blocks it with his other blade. He then pushes both Kaldur and me backwards. Manta then fires a blast out of his goggles at me. I dodge, barely, but it melts a hole where I was standing. Kaldur then hits Manta with his sword twice, before Manta turns and fires his eye beams at him. Kaldur uses his water bearers to turn his sword into a shield which took most of the damage but was knocked off the edge onto another one of these lift devices. As Sea Hawk pulls Perfuma back up the lift device changes direction, going down instead of up. Manta then loses his footing. I then see Catra in my head and what she did to me. I then swing my weapon hitting Manta in the chin of his helmet, knocking him off the edge. "Rot in hell!" I shout down as I watch him fall to his death.
Adora falls down due to the direction change and so does the woman she's fight, but the woman, she gets up faster and is prepared to strike Adora. Perfuma uses her powers to hit the woman with plants knocking her over the edge. Adora looks over the edge and watches her land on one of the lift things, but luckily for us it is going down.
"Adora, are you all right?" Perfuma asks.
"Thanks to you," Adora says.
"Great hit, Perfuma," Sea Hawk says.
Adora turns to me. "You killed him. You murdered him," Adora says.
"I did what I had to," I say coldly. The three of them shudder at my tone. Adora's look of horror is unmistakable.
"We don't kill people, Jack," Adora asks.
"Why? So they can go free and continue killing people? Ruining lives? Ruining families?" I ask.
"Are you even hearing yourself? You just murdered someone! And you think you should get what, a pat on the back?" Adora asks.
"I played with kids gloves with them, and look how it turned out? My sister and my best friend are kidnapped, tortured or killed for all I know!? I'm poisoned and dying? And my mother is heartbroken? Now tell me I should go back to how things were and let something worse happen!" I shout.
"We can fix everything," Adora says.
"No we can't! There aren't perfect endings, Adora. There's always good and bad parts of them. And sometimes one will outweigh the other, but there will always be some pain to it, no matter how much you try to avoid it, and you just have to learn to live with that," I say. Adora tries to say something but all words are caught in her mouth, though that doesn't stop her from glaring at me.
Time skip.
We get up to Bow's ceil, with Kaldur now back aboard as he figured his way back up to us. Sea Hawk grabs this kid Horde guy and throws him saying, "Goodbye." He then turns to Bow and give him a thumbs up, shouting, "Bow!" he laughs. "We're here to save you." Sea Hawk then punches the controls and the force field around him disappears.
"Adora. Jack," Bow says, as he hugs us both. The two of us hug him back whilst trying not to hug each other.
"Bow," both Adora and me says, as we hug him back.
"Bow, where's Glimmer?" I ask.
"Shadow Weaver has her in the Black Garnet chamber," Bow says. Adora's shoulders slump in defeat and the expression was horrific.
"Adora, what are we going to do?" Bow asks. An alarm starts wailing.
"Come on," Adora shouts.
Time skip.
We follow Adora to a door which is locked. Entrapta goes to the keypad to try and unlock it. "Can you get it open?" Adora asks.
"I just need a little more time," Entrapta replies. Entrapta laughs a she opens the door.
"This vent system leads to where you can steal a skiff. Each chamber needs to be sealed and purged before you can move on," Adora explains. She then goes over to another door and opens it with the keypad. "The doors will only stay opens for a few seconds, so keep up the pace," Adora explains. Sea Hawk, Entrapta, Bow, Mermista and Perfuma move to the next one and I was about to when I see Adora going backwards.
"Adora what are you doing?" I ask.
"Don't worry about me. I'm gonna buy you some time and find Glimmer and the cure. Meet you there, okay?" Adora says.
"No!" I shout, running over, but she slams the keypad, causing the door to shut. "Adora!" I shout streaming at the top of my lungs as I punch the door with all my strength, barely putting a dent in it. I see the eradicator powering up. Mermista lets out her hand. I run over and grab it, right before the eradicator would've burnt me to ash.
Time skip, Adora's P.O.V.
Guard's hold me as they make me enter Shadow Weaver's Black Garnet chamber. I see Glimmer held by the Black Garnet's dark energy. I gasp. "Glimmer. I'm here," I say. The guards put me on this table and these metal clasps are lifted onto me, trapping me to the table. The table is pushed up and now it's like I'm standing. "What have you done to her?" I ask.
"Leave us," Shadow Weaver says, to the guards who escorted me in here, as she appears out of the shadows next to Catra. The guards leave. "Report to the Force Captain barracks and pack your things," Shadow Weaver says to Catra. "Now that Adora's back, there's no need for you there," she says.
"Seriously? After everything I've done for you, it's still her you want?" Catra asks.
"I said, go!" Shadow Weaver shouts, pushing Catra. I look at Catra pleadingly. She looks directly at me but leaves anyway.
"Shadow Weaver, I'll stay with you willingly, but you have to let Glimmer go with the cure to Jack's poison," Adora says.
"Adora, no," Glimmer says.
"Glimmer, are you okay?" Adora asks.
"You are correct, Adora. You will stay willingly, because I'm going to wipe your mind. You'll have no memory of She-Ra or the time you spent with the Rebellion. Everything will be as it once was," Shadow Weaver explains. Shadow Weaver's hand then glow with dark magic. "As for the princess and the cure for the prince, once I'm done, you'll gladly guard both of them until the exchange," Shadow Weaver says. Shadow Weaver's hands then touch my forehead as her magic tries to change me. I struggle to hold onto myself.
"No. Adora!" Glimmer shouts. I scream in pain.
Time skip, Jack's P.O.V.
Entrapta's robot opens a door. We all run through it. "We need to go back for Glimmer and Adora," Bow says.
"We need to do what Adora said. They'll make it out and we'll be ready with the skiff. No princess will be left behind," Perfuma says.
Time skip, Adora's P.O.V.
I groan in pain. I try to hold onto my memory's my happiest ones. Almost all of them are of Jack. Glimmer cries seeing me in pain. She tries to teleport out of the Black Garnet dark energy, but it hurts her. She still continues even through the pain. She then breaks free and punches Shadow Weaver with her sparkle punch. Glimmer rushes over to me. "Adora, are you okay?" Glimmer asks. Glimmer then removes my shackles. "Do you know who I am?" Glimmer asks.
I groan. "Glimmer," Adora says. Glimmer cries and hugs me. Glimmer then tries to help me out of here, but I instead rush over to the unconscious Shadow Weaver, trying to find the cure.
"What are you going?" Glimmer asks.
"Catra poisoned Jack. He's dying. I'm looking for the cure," I say. I find nothing. "No," I say.
"Hey, it's okay, we'll find it, alright, we'll find it," Glimmer says, putting her hand on my shoulder. I nod. We then rush out of here.
Time skip, Jack's P.O.V.
The last door opens. "We made it. This way, to the vehicle bay," Sea Hawk says, as we run over there, but Entrapta's robot gets stuck. The robot beeps.
"Wait. Emily," Entrapta says, as she rushes back in there.
"Entrapta," Perfuma shouts reaching out for her. "No!" she shouts as the door shuts and the eradicator burns her.
"No!" I shout as I shoot my heat vision at the door trying to burn it down. I start succeeding as blood starts pouring down my eyes, and coughing up blood. I hear everyone shouting for me to stop, but I don't listen, and I faint.
Time skip, Adora's P.O.V.
Glimmer and me are running and trying to find the cure when a door drops in from of us. Glimmer groans. She then grabs me and tries to teleport, but she glows with dark magic instead and screams in pain. "Glimmer, what's happening?" I ask.
"I don't know. I can't teleport," Glimmer replies.
"What?" I ask. I then see Catra walking towards us with my sword. "Catra?" I ask. She then swings her sword and me and Glimmer close our eyes but to our surprise she didn't attack us, the sword just in front of us. She then tips the sword so I could easily grab the handle. "What are you doing?" I ask.
"Take it. This is not because I like you," Catra says. I take the sword.
"Catra," I say.
"Just get out of here," Catra says.
"No until I get the cure," I say.
"Oh, this cure," Catra says, pulling out a capsule. She then throws it at the ground smashing it. "I guess your little boy toy's gonna die," she grins.
I cry. I then push Catra to the ground, holding my sword above her head. Catra is in complete shock.
"Adora! We have to go!" Glimmer shouts. I just sit there. "Adora!" she shouts again. I take in a deep breath and get off Catra.
"For the honor of Grayskull!" I shout, causing me to transform. I then cut down the door. I look back to see Catra's gone.
Time skip, Jack's P.O.V.
As Glimmer and Adora run away from the Fright Zone they see the us on the skiff. "There they are!" I shout, pointing at them. Perfuma pulls Adora and Glimmer up, and we ride off. Glimmer laughs as she runs over and gives Bow and me a hug. I groan in pain. "Glim," I say.
"Jack, Adora told me your dying?" Glimmer says. I nod, sadly.
"You didn't get it, did you?" I ask, Adora. The sad look on her face was enough of a confirmation. I then just hug Glimmer tightly.
"Wait, where's Entrapta?" Adora asks.
"Entrapta didn't make it," Bow replies. Glimmer starts to cry.
"What do you mean?" Adora asks.
There's silence. "She's gone," Mermista says, the only to speak up. Mermista turns away as she wipes away her tears.
"Then we have to go back for her," Adora argues.
"No she's—she's really gone," Bow says.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Though I can understand if you didn't as this chapter is a lot darker than the original version of the episode. If you don't like dark stuff like this, I'm sorry, but the next few chapters will be mostly this level darkness.
The next two chapters will be ones made mostly by scratch and will be orientated around Jack.
