Hey guys, Purple Pendragon here with another chapter! Also, thanks for all your support lately even though I've been a jerk lately and not been uploading very often. It charges me up and motivates me to write more, so thanks!

Enjoy the story!

Chapter 9: Absolute Mischief (and going to China):

Natalie poked her head into the boss' office, looked at the scene inside, shook her head and closed the door. The super important contract that she'd printed out for him to sign could wait until after this was done.

She walked into her office, and looked at the computers that showed the security camera's views.
Besides, it was much safer to look at the scene from the cameras than the door.

It was that interesting.

Now back to the office.
What was so interesting that even rock-cold Natalie would peek at?

Well...

"No." Gabriel stared at his daughter.
"Yes." Sophia stubbornly stared back at him.
"Absolutely not."
"Absolutely yes."
"No."
"Why?"

"Because you are not old enough. Do you understand?"

"I'm one. That's old enough."

"You mom and I will be going to another country, Sophia. We simply won't have the time to take care of you."

Sophia frowned. "Don't care." she said stubbornly. "Me fine."

She really must be insistent! she only loses her sense of grammar when she really needs or wants something. Or if she wants to persuade an adult with her babyish cuteness.
Actually, it's probably her just trying to use her cuteness.

Sophia POV:

VICTORY IS MINE!

After one full hour of arguing back and forth! Though that doesn't really matter much, since I got to go to China! With mom and dad and Adrien and oh no I'll have to somehow hide the two miraculouses (is that a word?) after (and if) I manage to steal them!

Yes, that was part of the reason I wanted to go to China. Sue me.

[How much?]

You dare use my own spells against me? I was the one who taught you that! And besides, now the whole family's going to China! (and Natalie, of course, but, well, she kind of is a part of the family anyway).

Anyway, China! I really didn't know much about China, and I can't really go on any computer without looking suspicious (I am a baby, after all), and it really is annoying sometimes, but I suppose we'll know when we get there.

Also I dropped the idea of stopping my parents from going there, because technically if I did I wouldn't know where the miraculouses were and who had them or if they were still scattered around the mountainside or anything, really!

And that's just not acceptable!

Adrien crawled over to me. "Soph!" he squealed.

"Adrien!" I smiled back at him.

"Pway," he whined.

"What game?" I asked. He made a quick(cute) thinking face, then exclaimed. "Hide and seek!"

He always chose that. But I'm not going to argue if he has fun with it. " Okay!" I agreed innocently. "But you remember where, right?"

"Tis hall o'wy," he said, trying to pronounce it right. "Yesh."

I nodded and grinned. I couldn't wait to go to China! Hopefully I'd be able to go to the mountains too! Or, if I didn't, I could always snatch the miraculous away when I got stronger (meaning older).

Yes, Juedui, I know I'm not going to be able to do anything much with me being a baby and all. And I can practically hear you grinning about it. Yes, I do know you too well.

[Actually, I was going to say that I could enhance your abilities for a short while if you told me to.]

I perked up. Seriously? You could do that?

[ Of course. I'm not a bound kwami, after all, so my powers aren't limited.] Juedui sounded offended at the thought of it. [Anyway, whatever I did enhance would only affect you (directly), not anyone else, so it's fine!]

You really like finding loopholes and squeezing through them, don't you?

[Of course! Now try figuring out what enhancers you want. There's not much time left before the Agreste family goes to China!]

So, any ideas? What do you think Juedui and Sophia should do? Should they succeed or fail? As always, I'm open to suggestions! Please review and let me know!
