(Season 2x15 = Deceptive Little Parasite)

It hasn't been that long since Lucifer disappeared to Vegas and came back married. (Which he eventually got annulled) However, it raised a lot of questions from his family and friends. Especially the ones relating to his current relationship with Chloe. Despite not being in a romantic relationship for…obvious reasons. They're still choosing to work together as partners and continue solving murders.

As for Lucifer's family, Jophiel had been studying for her Forensics-Exam and Ella had been helping her inbetween lunch breaks. She even mentioned how Jophiel could get an 'inside-scoop' from outside the precinct. As for Amenadiel, he and their mother were still desperate about returning to Heaven and Charlotte believed she found a way…

# It was early in the morning, I had just gotten dressed and I was ready to go to work when, Lucifer texted me to come upstairs. When I came up…

Hairstyle: Loose braid + three white and pink Plumeria flower Hair-swag

Top: Navy-blue, Cap-Pedal sleeved, Notched-Neckline blouse with small bows tied on the sleeves and neckline, printed with white and pink Plumeria flowers

Bottoms: Black, pleated skater skirt

Footwear: Black, Criss-Cross, Ramba Pumps

# Lucifer and Mam were telling Amenadiel and me about how Mam found a way back to the Silver-City. And it involved, 'The Flaming Sword.' The very blade Dad created to protect the Garden of Eden and the very blade that could cut through anything, even the gates of Heaven. Only, I thought he destroyed it after Lucifer's Rebellion. At least until Mam somehow discovered that the sword is really 'Azrael's Blade.' And it's here, in Los-Angeles.

Amenadiel: Azrael's Blade. Your sure?

Charlotte: I am.

Jophiel: And it's here, on earth?

Charlotte: Yes. So if we could just get your brother to Stop drinking! And tells us where he hid it.

Lucifer: I just wanted you to tell them what you told me, before I make a mess.

Charlotte: What mess are you going to… (Gets interrupted when Lucifer Punches a hole in the wall)

Amenadiel: That's where's it's been this whole time?

Lucifer: (Reaches in and grabs the Blade) Put it somewhere I could keep an eye on it. Wouldn't want someone to incite another stabbing rampage, now, would we?

Charlotte: Well it's not my fault humans can't handle the divine.

Jophiel: And if not for you mother, they never would've of handled the divine.

Charlotte: But, if I hadn't done that, we wouldn't have found out what that blade actually is.

Lucifer: And you really think that this is the Flaming-Sword? I thought Father destroyed it during my rebellion so I wouldn't use it against him.

Amenadiel: Father 'said' he destroyed it.

Charlotte: Apparently, he just hid in plain sight.

Jophiel: And he eventually gave it to our little sister.

Lucifer: But it's so small and so… not flaming.

Charlotte: That's because, only you, (strokes Lucifer's cheeks) my Lightbringer, Can ignite it.

Lucifer: Well what am I supposed to do, dip it in some whiskey and light it with a match?

Charlotte: Last time it caught flame, you were angry, so think about your Father, that should do it.

Lucifer: All right. (pretends to focus, causing the sword not to ignite) Nope. Right, back to the whiskey plan.

Charlotte: No, your much too calm. When it flamed before, you were furious.

Jophiel: So your saying the blade can sense his emotional state?

Lucifer: well that's a load of nonsense, it's the most powerful weapon in the universe Mum. The sword that guarded Eden, not a groovy-mood ring.

Amenadiel: Maybe I should try it.

Charlotte: Your brother is the Lightbringer, Amenadiel. He just needs to apply himself, and get Angry!

Lucifer: Well I can't just get ang… (Amenadiel punches him in the face) Aah! Bloody Hell!

Jophiel: Amenadiel!? What'd you do that for!?

Amenadiel: Well, it was worth a shot.

Lucifer: Right. Maybe Amenadiel should try it. (hands the blade over to Amenadiel) Here, why don't you hold it, and I'll kick you in the…

Charlotte: BOYS!

# For a moment there, I felt we were like a normal family. Oh well.

Charlotte: We need to work together on this. we're so close now.

Amenadiel: Are we, Mom? Because our return home hinges on Lucifer being able to control his emotions.

Lucifer: Oh, you have no faith in me, brother? Good. (Takes the blade form Amenadiel) Means I get to prove you wrong. (Charlotte then takes the blade from Lucifer)

Jophiel: Well, while your figuring that out, I have to get my notes and head to work. (heads towards the steps) If you do manage to get back to the Silver-City, send me a postcard.

Charlotte: Not so fast Jophiel. You have a role in all of this too.

Jophiel: Ha?

Amenadiel: That's right, you're the only here who still your wings.

Jophiel: And what does that imply?

Charlotte: (set's the blade aside and walks towards Jophiel) It implies, that you're the only one who can fly us up to Heaven. Think about it, you can take us home, we can cut through the gates and we can see our family again. Don't you want that?

Jophiel: I'm not some taxi. And since it's going to take a while for Luci to control his emotions, I'm in a big hurry. so...see ya.

Charlotte: Well, don't you want to see your brothers and sisters?

Jophiel: (walking down the stairs) No thank you.

Lucifer: Well, why don't you just drop us off and fly back down?

Jophiel: Still, no thank you.

# I went back downstairs, grabbed my bag and went out to work. Honestly, a part of me still doesn't want to go back to Heaven. But the other part, wants to see a few my siblings again and maybe all the humans I befriended over the years. I don't fully know yet.

While Lucifer was trying to figure out how to control his emotions (which is not possible), he had new case with Chloe. The first one since his marriage ended. As for the case, the victim was a woman named Debbie Lang. she was found in her apartment with a stab wound on her back without the weapon.

When Lucifer and Chloe arrived at the crime scene, Lucifer was quite surprised when he walked in and saw Ella and her 'new assistant' examine the body. Jophiel was wearing a dark-navy blue baseball cap labelled; TRAINEE in white. She was also wearing purple gloves, while holding a pencil and flashcards/notes in her hands.

Lucifer: Joei?

Jophiel: Oh, hi brother.

Lucifer: What on earth are you doing here?

Jophiel: Ella said I can shadow ye on a couple of your cases until my exams. So here I am taking notes.

Ella: Yeah, and she's doing great so far.

Jophiel: Thank you Ella.

Dan: Oh, So will be working with two Morningstar's? (sarcastically) Great.

Jophiel: Well first off, my last name is 'Dina.' And secondly Detective Espinoza, would you mind giving Detective Decker and Mr Morningstar the details about our victim here?

Dan: Fine. Her name is Debbie Lang. she was the head of administrations of a very prestigious elementary school on the Westside called Starford.

Lucifer: How could a career in education pay for all this?

Chloe: L.A. private schools are insane. You know, money gets thrown around.

Jophiel: No kidding, some private schools demand money from parents before they even meet to become parents.

(Everyone looks at Jophiel with confused looks)

Jophiel: What? I used to be a teacher.

Chloe: (focusing on the body) What do we have?

Ella: Well, poor Debbie was stabbed in the back, literally.

Dan: Maybe figuratively too. there's no sign of B&E, which suggests she knew who her killer was.

Chloe: Anyone recover the murder weapon?

Dan: No, not yet.

Ella: You'd think a knife, but the circumference of the wound is unusually wide. Like it was a… fat knife.

Jophiel: (finishes drawing a reconstructed diagram on one of her flashcards) Well, based on the diameter of the wound, I don't think it was a knife at all. But it defiantly came from something sharp, long and made of metal. (Shows a drawing of a pair of scissors) My theory, it was these.

Chloe: So she was stabbed with a pair scissors?

Ella: Fat scissors then.

Lucifer: (reading the victims diploma's) PhD in Psychology, certificate for behavioural therapy. I should of thought this women had figured human interaction, yet she provoked someone into killing her? Therapist's, don't really know anything do they?

Chloe: Oh, Lucifer's projecting his own personal issues on the case. Guess were back to normal.

Jophiel: Is he like this on every case?

Chloe & Dan: Yes!

Jophiel: (Pretends to take note) Right. Mr Morningstar, likes to make cases about himself. Got it.

Ella: Ah man. I got into it with my shrink a couple of weeks ago.

Lucifer: What? You see a psychologist?

Ella: I know. You wouldn't think so, right? Cause I'm so upbeat all the time. (points to her head) But up here… *whispers* lot of darkness.

Lucifer: (impressed) Really?

Chloe: Hey, guy's? (notices something on the wall) What's this? (takes a large portrait off the wall and it revealed to be missing an odd shaped piece)

Lucifer: (sees the shape as a 'manly-part') Well, where do I start…

Dan: (Holds up his finger, wanting Lucifer to not to make a joke)

Ella: Missing commemorative scissors. Looks like we found our fat knife/ scissors. Or didn't find it, but, you know.

Chloe: So, weapon of convenience. Could have been a crime of passion. Vic knew the killer, so we should go to the school where she worked.

After the crime scene, Lucifer and Chloe went the Starford School to talk with the assistant dean. While they were there, Lucifer found a children's book titled; 'Your Feelings & You', hoping it would help him understand and control his emotions. Chloe on the other hand, had found her first set of suspects, a couple named John and Greg had applied their donation to send their son to the school. But their son was still rejected and they lost their money. And Debbie was in charge of the exchange.

# Sounds like a very good motive. Especially, when we found the murder weapon in their pool-house. However, when Ella and I examined it, Debbie's blood was still on it, but there were no fingerprints. As for the pool-house, it was unlocked, so anyone could've placed those scissors there. Meaning the killer was trying to frame the couple who was last seen fighting with the victim before she was killed. Deviously clever.

If John and Greg claimed that their money was stolen, it might imply that someone from the school was embezzling the money, the victim found out and it got her killed. Meanwhile, Lucifer believed he had made an epiphany. In order to learn more about emotions, he'd had to attend Starford (where they claim they can help their students control their emotions). But in order to do that, Lucifer would need to bring a child with him. So the next morning he volunteered to drive Chloe's daughter Trixie to 'School.'

# So he basically kidnapped his partners child. But if Lucifer hadn't, we probably wouldn't have gotten a new lead in the case. Lucifer took Trixie to a classroom that thought children how to harness their emotions into energy. (which is quite ridiculous) Speaking as a former teacher, I've thought hundreds of children and no matter what you say or do, a child's emotions can't be controlled. They often harness what they feel through their actions or strange behaviour sometimes. Speaking of which, Lucifer found the lead when a young boy showed him a drawing of his mother stabbing Debbie.

# As for the embezzlement, it was the assistant dean. He did it because he felt under-pressured by the school's reputation of having the 'perfect' staff. So he stole the couple's money to show that he was still just as fancy and perfect as everyone else. But he didn't kill Debbie.

After finding their latest suspect, Chloe and Dan returned to the precinct, where Chloe received an e-mail from the school. Apparently, Trixie had impressed some of the teachers and they were interested in meeting with Chloe at a grieving party and discuss the possibly of enlisting Trixie. However, Chloe and Dan had very mixed feelings about the idea of their daughter attending a very portentous school.

After talking with the young boy's mother Joy (she wasn't the killer, but she really hated Debbie), Chloe was still unclear about sending Trixie to Starford. So she walked up to the lab, hoping to find Jophiel and maybe ask for some advice. When she walked in, Jophiel was sitting at the table, studying and taking notes while listening to some music (It helps her think).

Hairstyle: Let down + Mini, light-pink rose hairclip

Top: Grey, short cold-shouldered sleeved (slit cut-out inbetween), ruffled across Square-Neckline, with pink-yellow floral print and olive leaves and Tan mock buttons.

Bottoms: Bubblegum-pink, Skinny jeans

Footwear: Grey, Suede, laced Ankle-length boots with brown wedges

Chloe: (knocks at the door)

Jophiel: (looks up and turns down the music) Oh, hi Chloe. How did it go with the boy's mother?

Chloe: Ah, well, she's not our killer. But she really didn't like the victim.

Jophiel: What about the embezzlement?

Chloe: Turns out it was the assistant dean. Apparently he stole John and Greg's donation money to protect his image. But he has an alibi for the murder so he's not the killer the either.

Jophiel: So, do you have any leads or suspects?

Chloe: Funny you should mention that, I got an invited to a grieving gathering at the school, so the killer will probably be there to avoid being suspected.

Jophiel: How'd you get an invite?

Chloe: That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. You mentioned at the crime scene, that you were a teacher?

Jophiel: Yeah, why?

Chloe: Well, you know my daughter Trixie?

Jophiel: Oh yeah, I've seen pictures of her on both your desk and Dan's. she's a real cutie.

Chloe: Thanks, anyway, Lucifer took her to Starford this morning and she impressed some of the teachers there and she might get in so… what do you think? (Speaks quicker) I mean, I know the school is super exclusive and fancy, not to mention 'really' expensive. And some of the parents are little judgy about single parents who work. But I really think the school could be good for her.

Jophiel: Okay, first off, breathe. And speaking as a former teacher, it's good that you want your daughter to have a good education and lifestyle at a fancy school. But it's important to know if daughter's okay with that kind of change. What did Trixie think of the school?

Chloe: That's the thing, She's was only there for two minutes and she was already opening up to them. Dan and I haven't gotten her to do that in months. She says that she's okay, but she's not, I can tell.

Jophiel: Well, children eventually open up to at their own pace, but it mostly depends on who their choosing to open up too.

Chloe: yeah, maybe. Well, I better go home and change. See if I can make a good impression with some of those teachers and parents at the gathering.

Jophiel: Don't forget to find the killer while your there.

Chloe: Right, that too.

Jophiel: No offense, but are you sure you want to send your daughter to a school where the head administrator was murdered, the assistant dean was stealing money and be surround by parents who will probably judge you for being a single, hard-working parent?

Chloe: I'm still thinking about it.

Jophiel: Well, i'm sure whatever you decide, it's only in your daughter's best interest right?

Chloe: Right.

Jophiel: Yeah, I mean you two share the same DNA, which plays a large role in the determining your physical characteristics since it's mostly contained in the cell-nucleus and it can be found in the white blood cells and not the red. (Looks at one of her flashcards) Yes! (Chloe's gives her a confused look) Sorry, I was memorizing notes for my exam and I got it right.

Chloe: Oh, good for you and thanks for the talk Jophiel. I really needed it. (Leaves the room and goes home)

Jophiel: Anytime.

# After Chloe left, I started thinking about what we talked about. About how Trixie was opening up at the school. Because in my experience, when a child is ready to open up to someone it usually takes more than one session. So maybe, when Trixie was being asked about her feelings, she wasn't opening up to the teacher, she was opening up to the person who was 'with' her at the time. The person she trusted, felt safe with and considered a friend. Lucifer. But that's just my theory.

As for the case, Chloe went to the gathering and to make sure she wouldn't be judged by the other parents, Maze tagged along and pretended to be her wife. From there, they found a way to flush out the killer, by spreading a rumour that the killers DNA was in Chloe's car. Eventually, the killer took the bait and tried to break into the car. The killer revealed to be Maddison, the teacher who taught children how to control their emotions. Debbie discovered that Maddison had an affair with the 'movement & wellness mentor' (the PE teacher) years ago and Debbie threatened to expose him as father of her child. So Maddison snapped and killed her. Which proved to Lucifer that emotions truly can't be controlled.

# After the case was solved, a couple of issues had been resolved. Chloe and Trixie agreed that they didn't like Starford, and decided not to go. As for Lucifer, he called Mam, Amenadiel and me back up to the penthouse. In the last couple of days, Mam has been trying to get Luci to ignite the blade with different sorts of emotions. First trying to turn him on with a foursome and then tried to scare him by dressing up as a mugger and attack him (which revealed that she was regaining her 'Divinity strength'). But after talking to Linda, Lucifer figured out which emotion he needed to feel to ignite the blade, the pain. The very pain and heartbreak he's being trying avoid since he got back.

Amenadiel: So you think you figured it out?

Lucifer: Yes.

Charlotte: And your sure this time?

Lucifer: (Grab the blade) Just… Let me do it Mum, please.

# So the three of us watched as Lucifer concentrated on the blade. At first, nothing was happening, but then… it caught flame! It was working; Luci was facing everything he was holding back. But Amenadiel and I could see all that pain in his eyes. Everything he felt for our parents… and Chloe, was becoming too much for him to bear. Even with all that pain, it wasn't enough to fully ignite the sword.

Charlotte: That's It?! You most not be feeling enough!

Lucifer: Trust me. That's it. That's all I got it!

Charlotte: You have to try harder.

Lucifer: What?

Charlotte: TRY HARDER!

Jophiel: MAM, STOP IT!

Amenadiel: That's enough!

Lucifer: I'm not broken. The sword most be.

Amenadiel: Okay. Okay then we'll fix it. There's plenty of time.

Charlotte: Of course, your right son. (strokes Amenadiel's cheek, then Jophiel's) There's plenty of time (tries to stroke Lucifer's cheek but he dodged it).

# As Mam was leaving, Amenadiel and I stayed to comfort Lucifer. Honestly I have never seen Luci so… hurt. I knew I was in pain, but I never knew he hurting like this. And the way Mam was pressuring him to feel that way. My goodness, what is up her lately? She's been acting very odd. The way she's anxious to get back to Heaven, it's way too much. It's almost like she's on some sort of… 'Ticking-clock.'
