Momo found herself in a routine. Wake up and go to school early. Meet up with Power Loader and Hatsume to download the data from her arm and send it to I-Island while they investigate what happened to it. Go to class, lunch with friends, hero class in the afternoon. After school she would spend about an hour working with Midoriya and House on their presentation and then meet up with Setsuna, Ibara, Itsuki and Kyoka for group training. Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida also joined them, though Momo had to keep Sestuna from teasing the green haired boy. She found his reactions delightful and it would detract from their training. They had invited House, but he planned on sitting the sports festival out.

The first week went by quickly until on Sunday she was to meet Power Loader and Hatsume at the school to swap the data to the new arm that had been completed. Arriving at school and heading to the Support department she was surprised at the additional attendees. In addition to the two expected individuals was principal Nezu and a woman she was unfamiliar with. The woman was tall, standing probably 190cm in height and easily the tallest in the room. Her long auburn hair trailed down almost to her waist with blue eyes staring from behind her thick glasses. She had a blue skirt with a red blouse and a lab coat covering that. Black tights on her legs ended in red heels.

Principal Nezu introduced her, "Good morning, Yaoyorozu. A pleasure to see you well. I'd like to introduce to you Professor Camille. Originally from France, she has been working on I-Island. Specifically one of the researchers on the technology in your arm. She asked to be able to come and examine it in person. Professor Camille, this is Yaoyorozu Momo, one of our aspiring heroes and the one who is benefiting from your research."

"I know of her from the pictures that were sent. If no one here minds, I'd like to get started on running a more in-depth analysis of the prototype prosthetic."

"Of course, I'll leave you all to your work and just watch in the corner for a while."

"I wish the bureaucrats at I-Island had your sense. Well then Power Loader, let's start with a simple diagnostic first." Professor Camille quickly took command, giving orders as if second nature. Momo quickly found herself to dislike the woman as she treated her like a test subject, not a person. Even Hatsume, who's name she never used and just referred to as girl, received better treatment. Hatsume's presence was at least acknowledged.

After several minutes of hooking up wires to Momo's prosthetic, running a diagnostic on the computer, and making minor adjustments, it seemed Professor Camille came to a conclusion. "I think it's clear we're going to get everything we can just by examining the arm. I need you to remove your top so we can hook up some more sensors."

It was clear that Professor Camille was expecting her to just go ahead with everyone in the room. Fortunately Principal Nezu came to her rescue. "Professor Camille. I think it would do some good for you to remember that not everyone here is a researcher. It would seem Yaoyorozu has some reservations with your instructions."

She looked to Momo, as if seeing her for the first time. "We need this data to see what's happened. I don't have time for your social hang-ups."

Momo gives an irritated sigh, "If you insist."

She begins to undo her shirt, causing the normally calm Nezu to quickly move to the door to open it and he and Power Loader dashed out with a quick, "Hatsume, help out and let us know when Yaoyorozu is decent again." With that the door was shut leaving the three alone.

Professor Camille chuckled at the actions, "That was annoying yet amusing. It seems you're a little more bold than I had thought."

"Honestly Professor Camille, I just want this over with."

"I can agree to that. Girl, help me with attaching these sensors."

Hatsume began to hand the wires to Camille while calling out the connection, seeming to be immersed in the work. It didn't take too long to attach all the sensors and for data to start coming in. Momo asked if she could cover herself with a blanket while the test ran and after Camille confirmed, used her Quirk to create one. This however proved to be the discovery.

As Momo began to swirl her lipids inside to create the blanket the data on the computer started to fluctuate, giving Camille a better understanding of what was happening. "I thought Power Loader was just making an excuse but it seems your Quirk really is affecting the Neural Link of the arm."

"How is it affecting it?"

"Based on what I'm seeing for you to use your Creation you have to form the image with your mind. This sends a signal along your neurons to your lipids and begins the creation. However the Neural Link is intercepting this signal and reacting to it. Right now I think the arm is specifically reacting to your subconscious mind, which is why it's become more akin to your actual arm. I imagine with practice and some updates to the programming there's a lot that could be done with this." Momo had finished creating the blanket by this point and the readings started to reset.

"All right, go ahead and cover yourself. Girl, invite the other two back in. I think I know where to go from here."

With Power Loader and Nezu back in the room, Camille described her plan. They would go ahead and switch the arms out today. The new arm already had advanced diagnostic equipment installed that would give a clearer image of how the arm interacted with Momo's Quirk on a daily basis. Hatsume also quickly gave an overview of the installed features that she and Power Loader had devised. Momo wrote a summary of everything with the intention of checking each feature in more detail later.

Internal computer with holographic display and a library with access to 1000s of schematics.

Enhanced grip function to help reduce the chances of being disarmed.

WiFi and Bluetooth functionality.

Internalized cell phone function. Normally used with a bluetooth headset, but can use the thumb as a speaker and the pinky as a microphone.

Wired adaptor port in the ring finger.

All in all it wasn't as much as Momo had expected from Hatsume's earlier conversation. But this Mark 3 arm was still a bit more useful.

"Wait, Mark 3? Hatsume, what happened to the Mark 2."

Hatsume smiled with pride. "It exploded in the name of invention! It seems when I tried to install the strength enhancement package along with the multi-tool set it overloaded the power supply. It was quite enlightening."

Momo was dumbfounded as Camille spoke up, "Um, Power Loader. Is this arm safe?"

"You don't have to worry. I ran the tests myself on it after Hatsume finished it. I'm fairly impressed with it and with the calibration data transferred it shouldn't even have any feedback from the attachment."

"As long as you're certain."

Momo thought to herself as they began to remove the old arm, "As long as Power Loader's certain? What about me, doesn't my opinion count for anything?"

The transfer of the arm went smoothly as expected, surprising everyone but Hatsume at this point. Even Power Loader seemed relieved when it powered up as expected. Camille had Momo run through a few basic tests they put other test subjects through and, satisfied with the results, informed her to continue coming in each morning as she would be working with U.A. staff for a while.

Momo said goodbye to everyone then headed off. She had her first therapy session soon and while she thought it was pointless, she just wanted it over with. While riding there, she did take a few moments to use the holo display and look at some of the loaded schematics. Hatsume had included quite a variety.

Momo was leaving her first counseling session feeling it was a complete waste of time. It started off with the therapist asking about herself, asking if there was anything troubling her or anything she wanted to talk about or discuss. Eventually they went to her family and friends, people she cared about. She did ask what Momo thought about losing her arm, and she gave the truth. It sucked but it had happened. Now she was going to deal with it. Her therapy duty done, she left as quickly as she could leaving it behind her until next week.

It was after the counseling session that had Momo excited. The girls of 1-A and 1-B had all convinced Vlad King and Midnight to let them have a training session Sunday at the school from Noon to 4 on battlefield gamma. Since Momo and her friends had already started, they figured a group session would not only give them all a chance to develop their Quirks a bit against each other's various styles, but a chance to see what each other could do as well. Of course it was also a good excuse to go to Karaoke afterwards.

Momo arrived to find that some of them had already started. Mina and Ibara had been teamed up with Itsuki and Kyoka, the two teams fighting it out under Midnight's watchful eye. It looked to be a capture the flag scenario, with each duo trying to defend their flag from the other side. Ibara was defending her and Mina's flag while the pink girl was using her acid to skate around, avoiding Kyoka's sonic attacks, launched from towards the flag. Itsuki herself was doing her best to avoid Ibara's vines, having to rely on her martial arts skill over her quirk in the match up.

Itsuki, who had been keeping herself mobile, suddenly stopped behind a boulder, picking it up. Ibara took advantage to try to get her vines around her ankles only for Itsuki to crush the boulder in her hands while yelling "NOW!" out to Kyoka, who turned towards her and unleashed her sonic wave. The debris from the crushed rock flew into Ibara's eyes, blinding her momentarily while Itsuki charged forward past Ibara towards the flag. Mina however charged towards Kyoka's flag at the same time, managing to get it just a second faster and getting them the win.

Everyone, including Momo, applauded them for the effort. Vlad King was standing off to the side with Recovery Girl and the two came up to make sure everyone was okay and discuss how it went with them while Momo went over and greeted her friends.

Momo, "Greetings everyone. I see you've already started."

Setsuna, "This was the first match. Vlad-Sensei asked how we wanted to do this and Mina said she wanted to try a mock battle. Ibara of all people said she wanted to fight too."

Tooru, "Kendo was the one who suggested mixed class pairs!"

Momo, "It was a good idea."

Ochaco, "How did everything go with you, Momo?" Everyone knew what Ochaco was asking, even if she didn't say it directly.

Momo lifted her left arm and as she was shown held her fingers against the wrist until the arm had a small split to display the projectors for the holographic display. She then turned the arm towards them all, gathering to see. "It has a few different features, nothing incredible except that now I have a library of schematics more readily available." She went through a couple of them so they could see.

Tsuyu, "Will you be able to use it during the Sports Festival?"

"That she will." Everyone turned to look as Professor Camille came walking in. "Power Loader just finished the application for it. I thought I should come tell you, Yaoyorozu. And to see it in action, in case there were any issues."

Momo found she didn't like Professor Camille, but at least this time she was acknowledging her name. "I'll have to thank him. And you for coming to observe."

Yui, "Who is this?"

Momo, "This is Professor Camille from I-Island. She helped to develop my prosthetic. I just met her myself this morning."

"All right, break's over. If we're going to continue sparring, let's have the next pair up. Any volunteers?" Vlad interrupted them.

Professor Camille, "I would like to see Yaoyorozu this time, if it's alright with you?" Vlad nodded and she turned to see who else would go.

The teams this time ended up as Momo with Yanagi Reiko up against Ochaco and Tsunotori Pony. Each side had a couple minutes to discuss strategy, which Momo used to ask what Reiko could do. This proved to be a lesson for Momo as Reiko took up most of the time doing so. When Vlad called time the two hadn't developed a plan and instead decided that Reiko would be on defense while Momo attacked.

Momo created a staff for herself and a shield for Reiko to move with her Poltergeist. On the other hand it seemed that Pony had created multiple horns, all of which were floating in the air. "I thought she couldn't control that many!" Momo thought to herself, trying to remember what she could of the foreign girl's Quirk. Looking, she realized that some of them must be afloat by Ochaco, probably as a diversion.

The match started, Momo moved towards their position using cover. She had remembered seeing a schematic for a sonic weapon in Hatsume's schematics and pulled it up, ready to try creating it. As she worked at it, she saw Ochaco suddenly grab one of the horns and it started to fly across the field towards Reiko at a high speed dragging a weightless Ochaco. Momo wasn't done with the weapon and chose to rely on Reiko to defend while she concentrated. She watched as Reiko brought up the shield and tried to block the incoming horn. Suddenly another horn flew past Momo's view with Pony on it, and two more behind it. Realizing their plan Momo abandoned the sonic weapon and created a flashbang instead, throwing it towards their flag. But it wasn't fast enough as Reiko's shield was already entangled by Ochaco and she didn't have another object nearby to stop Pony who quickly snapped up their flag, winning the match.

As before Vlad came up to them to discuss the match. He congratulated the planning that Pony and Ochaco had done, using their Quirk's to each other's advantage. But when she asked what plan Momo and Reiko were going with, both were at a loss. He gave advice on what they could have done, making more than one shield for Reiko, perhaps better teamwork. Not splitting up before preparations were ready. But in the end, Momo just felt defeated by it. A part of her wanted to blame her partner, but in the end it was a loss.

The day continued with a couple more matches, and then some Quirk enhancement training before they called it and went to have some fun that night. After singing for a couple of hours they were about to break up when Setsuna and Momo found themselves outside alone.

"Hey, Momo. Mind if I ask you a question?"

Momo turned to her friend. There was something in her voice that had her worried. "Of course."

"Well, are you doing okay?" Setsuna was looking at her, genuine concern in her eyes.

"Of course I'm okay, Setsuna. A bit upset about earlier losing that fight. But otherwise I'm doing okay. Why do you ask?"

"Well, a few reasons. For starters it looked like you wanted to punch that Professor earlier. Camille I think you said?"

"I don't feel she's very friendly, but I don't think I wanted to do anything like that." Momo was taken aback by that.

"Well you also looked like you wanted to punch Ochaco and Pony after that match too. Reiko too."

Now Momo felt confused. "What? You can't be serious. I mean I was upset. But that was at me for making such mistakes."

"I'm not the only one who was thinking it. I mean, you had both your fists balled up and glared at each of them in turn when Vlad-sensei talked about them."

"Well I didn't have any such thoughts. You don't have to worry about it."

"You were also very into training afterwards. Scary into it."

Momo had enough. She turned towards Setsuna, "Okay, I don't understand what you're trying to say."

Setsuna stared back at her, "Momo, look at your hands."

Confused, Momo did as she asked and looked down. She hadn't realized that her left hand was holding onto the bike rack. Or that she had bent it. She quickly released it, not sure what she had done. Setsuna suddenly hugged her. "Look, I don't know what you're feeling right now. But if you ever need to talk, we're friends, Momo. Please remember that."

Momo was shocked for a moment, not used to this level of affection. She gently returned Setsuna's hug, "I will, don't worry."

The two released after a moment, "Well, Momo, I need to hurry or I'll be late getting home. Just remember if you need to talk, I'm available."

Momo smiled at her and nodded as she left. She sat there for a few minutes in silence, angry at herself for worrying her friends. Just another thing to add to the list it would seem. She called for her limo.

The final week leading up to the sports festival was more of the same. She had another counseling session scheduled, but it was cancelled last minute. Which Momo considered a relief. She felt it left her mentally prepared.
