"Pardon me for asking Sakura-san but that wouldn't happen to be the weapon Shisui was trying to tell me about that you wield would it" Itachi asked carefully upon seeing the boomerang slung across Sakura's back strapped into place by a harness.
The thing almost dragged the ground with it's length "Indeed it is Itachi-san and I'm more than capable of handling my weapon" Sakura nodded, adding the last bit just in case because she didn't want anyone thinking they could take her boomerang away from her.
Earning herself a chuckle from the young man "Fear not Sakura-san I've watched your practices and I know you can wield it quite effectively" Itachi assured, understanding why she would say something considering Shisui had tried to take the weapon.
Of course she'd be protective over something that was hers "Terrifying with it if we're being honest" Haku snorted softly, Sakura smiled innocently in response not that he bought her innocent act any because he knew better at this point.
She wasn't an adversary he ever wanted to meet on the battlefield "Aww you've got Haku scared of your boomerang Sakura-chan" Karin snickered unsympathetically, teasing the teenager who shook his head.
An exasperated sigh falling from his lips as if he'd expected such teasing from Karin "Should you really be letting your guards down" Fugaku commented, thinking they were distracted as they chattered amongst themselves.
"Who says we've let out guards down Uchiha-sama in fact I've had my senses spread this entire time and I know the minute I say something if we're under attack Sakura will be the first to react to the threat" Karin announced.
Confident, she'd been honing the skill for years so why wouldn't she be, at the same time she wasn't arrogant about it either "Hmm, well I suppose I can believe it considering the report you made about how you took down the demon brothers" Fugaku mused.
Inwardly hoping something would happen so he could see their skills in action for himself "Wait, what, your the ones who took down Gozu and Mizu, I though that was Kakashi-san" Haku frowned in confusion.
Both Sakura and Karin shook their heads this time and for the next three hours they walked in silence none of them complaining about the grueling pace that Fugaku had set until ~grumble~ and all eyes turned to Karin.
Since it was her stomach that had just rumbled in hunger "It is past lunch so an hour stop should be plenty enough time to eat" Fugaku paused, knowing that Mikoto would have his head if he treated the girls callously.
Karin blushed, embarrassed even as Sakura disappeared into the forest "Lets get the fire ready for whatever she brings back" Haku suggested, glad for the quick break because he'd been getting hungry himself.
Though he would have never shown it "Yeah and knowing Sakura like I do it will probably be either deer or boar whichever she can find first" Karin relented easily and soon a fire was roaring without the use of a fire jutsu.
"And here I was expecting that I would have to use my jutsu to get the fire going but here the both of you know how to start one even without matches" Itachi chimed in, admitting to himself that he was a bit surprised.
Just as Sakura returned a young boar slung over her shoulders "That's because Itachi-san, Karin-chan and I are use to living outdoors and I guess Haku would be use to it as well and when you don't have access to fire jutsu or matches, a natural fire is the only option left" Sakura said.
Having heard the statement "Lord Hokage was under the impression that you were in Cloud for all the years you were thought to be dead" Fugaku frowned but what Sakura just said contradicted that belief.
Then he remembered those books she'd given him "Unfortunately I lived in a village a few days in that direction for three years at first, when Isha died I left and met Karin, where we spent a month living in caves and hiding from her former village" Sakura explained.
Tying her hair back as she set to work on preparing the boar "Not that it amounted to much cause one of them found me in the end and a few days after that Raikage-sama stumbled across us" Karin finished.
Getting tired of repeating that story "If one of them found you, before the Raikage stumbled upon you two, how is it that you didn't get dragged back to your former village Karin-san" Itachi questioned feeling like it was a sensitive question.
Sakura's haunted eyes were enough of an answer "You made your first kill that day didn't you Sakura" Haku guessed easily now understanding why Sakura hadn't had much trouble killing all those thugs in Gato's employ.
She nodded quietly but said nothing more merely focused on her task until their late lunch was ready half an hour later "Mm" Itachi hummed after taking his first bite of the soup that Sakura had made by throwing what he'd thought had been random ingredients into the pot with the boar meat.
Only to find it quite delicious "How did you come up with the recipe and where did you even get all the ingredients" Fugaku inquired, also enjoying the soup and wanting to know so that he could share it with Mikoto so she could make it later on for his family.
"Already had the ingredients and the recipe was a hand me down from Isha-sensei, she loved cooking and taught me how to do the same" Sakura smiled lightly, glad that even someone as gruff as Fugaku Uchiha enjoyed her soup.
Fugaku snorted while Itachi merely looked curious "That's the woman who taught Sakura the fundamentals of being a medical shinobi, Isha Uzumaki" Karin said also seeing the curious expression that Itachi sported.
And that of course opened up a whole new line of questioning "Uzumaki, do you know how incredibly lucky you are Sakura-san to not only meet one of the almost extinct clan but two Uzumaki" Itachi stated.
"I'm aware Itachi-san but that's not all, apparently Isha-sensei and Karin's mother had been in contact for Isha to come and collect Karin-chan from Kusagakure to raise as her own so it wasn't just luck that I met Karin" Sakura informed.
Casting a fond glance at the redhead who gripped her arm that showed off her scars drawing attention onto them from Haku "Can I ask how you got such terrible looking scars Karin" Haku inquired carefully.
Karin looked up at Sakura for reassurance first "One of my abilities if you bite me and suck out my chakra you get healed, the Grass Village abused that gift so much it caused my mother who had the same ability to die most of them I wish I could get rid of" Karin admitted.
Glaring at many of the scars "But this one here I carry with pride because I repaid the debt I owed to Sakura-chan for not only taking me a newly orphaned child with her but saving me from a Kusa-nin when he found me" Karin finished.
Lightly touching her fingers to one of the scars on her wrist "Excuse me I believe I just lost my appetite" Haku grimaced hardly able to believe that someone had endured such suffering like he had, making him realize Sakura and Karin were more like him than he'd initially thought.
To that he forced himself to finish off his bowl of soup but was unable to stomach anymore than that as they packed up and started walking again "Awful what they've been through isn't it Father" Itachi whispered hours later.
When they had no choice but to stop for the night at the border that led into Tetsu no Kuni and the younger members of the group had gone to sleep "Quite and I feel as if Lord Hokage has done them a disservice by forcing them out of Cloud and back to Leaf as he has" Fugaku nodded.
Konohagakure was to soft for the already jaded girls "Their never going to stay no matter what we offer them, Hokage-sama is fighting a losing battle where these two are concerned" Itachi realized in that moment.
That no matter what Hiruzen said to get Karin and Sakura to stay in Leaf permanently at the end of the three years both would still leave and go back to Kumogakure "What's that supposed to mean" Haku sat up.
Unashamed to have been caught eavesdropping on the somewhat private conversation "It means boy that in three years those two will be returning to Hidden Cloud to live there for three years" Fugaku scoffed.
Having known Haku was still awake "No, not that, the bit about Hokage-sama, you were saying something about offers" Haku shook his head, already knowing about the dual citizenship his teammates had between Cloud and Leaf.
It was the other bit that was concerning almost like the Hokage was trying to force them to stay regardless of their will "The Raikage made a deal with Hokage-sama that he could try whatever he wanted to convince Karin and Sakura to stay in Leaf at the end of these three years" Fugaku said.
"We're well aware that none of his efforts have been working however so I don't think you have to worry just don't tell them, there's no need to have them upset with Lord Hokage again" Itachi warned.
Eyeing the kunoichi warily "Do you really think their that oblivious to machinations that involve them, I bet you one hundred percent that Sakura already knows and has told Karin and that's probably why she hesitates to accept anything from anyone" Haku snorted.
He did promise though that he wouldn't say anything for their sake and finally laid back down in his bedroll to get some actual shut eye this time followed by Fugaku and Itachi a couple hours later since they could sense no one around for miles.
After breakfast the next morning however things got a bit more interesting "Well look if it isn't the traitorous bitch Karin herself, heard you were a Cloud Bitch but it looks like you wanted to become a Leaf Dog so you could keep whoring yourself out" a Kusa-nin chortled.
Followed by laughter from the rest of his team who had been on their way back to the village after completing his mission, Karin reflexively grabbed for her fans "Can you take them out" Fugaku asked reminding her that they weren't alone this time.
"For insulting Karin you bet I can" Sakura sneered at the group of Kusa jonin as she unhooked her boomerang, Fugaku bowed his head indicating it was all on them as he and Itachi got out of range "Haku standby for now, Karin use your senses to find out if there are others" Sakura instructed.
Channeling chakra into her weapon and throwing it, releasing the hidden blades at the last second and it mowed down the tree the bastards were hiding in just cut straight through to be precise a shadow clone caught the boomerang on it's rebound.
While the real Sakura charged head on or that's how it seemed to the Kusa-nin she was running straight at, he probably thought she'd be easy for him to take out until she proved him wrong by feinting to the left and delivering a kick that knocked him into another of his bastard fellows.
Behind her "Watch out Sakura there's one coming up under the ground beneath you" Karin shouted, sensing the hidden shinobi and Sakura focused chakra into her feet to leap high just as the man emerged trying to grab her ankle.
No longer concealed now Sakura angled herself just right and concentrated chakra into her foot again as she fell, her attack didn't quite work out as she intended it though as the jerk dodged and she had to release the pent up chakra upon impact with the ground.
Making a small crater in the earth at the same time she was already flying through hand seals "Suiton: Raging Waves" Sakura breathed out a powerful wave of water that crashed into her current opponent that sent his body flying through the air like a rag doll.
Because she hadn't held back "Here your boomerang" Haku yelled tossing the girl her terrifying weapon as he threw some throwing needles to hit vital points, Sakura shot him a smile then swung her boomerang.
All heard the loud crack that echoed through the air "Okay its time, switch with me Haku" Sakura decided when there was just a couple left standing after she'd knocked the other two out, immediately Haku understood what she wanted him to do.
"Ninja Art: Crystal Ice Mirrors" Haku called out his self made jutsu calmly as he bombarded the two Kusa Jonin with countless throwing needles, a cry alerted him to the fact that Karin had missed one somehow.
But just as Sakura was going to the redheads rescue, Karin dealt with her adversary by jabbing a poisoned kunai into his side "Idiot just because it looks like I'm helpless doesn't mean I am" Karin scoffed with a roll of her eyes.
When the man hit the ground overcome with convulsions and foaming at the mouth, Sakura skidded to a halt at her side "Did you purposefully let him think you hadn't sensed him or what Karin" Sakura huffed.
Obviously not amused especially when Karin nodded in the affirmative "He wasn't doing anything so I left myself open to lure him out" Karin explained, staring down at the twitching moron on the ground.
Prompting Sakura to direct her attention onto the poisoned man as well for a moment Fugaku though that she was going to spare the Kusa-nin until she raised a glowing blue hand "The chakra scalpel" Itachi whispered.
In slight awe at how advanced Sakura was with her chakra control even as she brought her hand down right onto the Kusagakure shinobi's heart before doing the same to the others "You really aren't afraid to kill huh" Haku walked over after collecting his weapons.
Sakura shook her head "I don't like killing but I learned that if I think about how much harm they could potentially do to another innocent person if we let them live its easier" Sakura admitted, letting the chakra fade from her hands.
"On that note I believe we've wasted enough time so lets cross the border and hope we reach our destination before nightfall which means no breaks for lunch or dinner possibly" Fugaku informed, not sparing the dead nin another glance.
With that they grabbed their packs, fixed the area as best they could to make it seem like now one had been there hopefully and started forth into Tetsu no Kuni and Karin was glad for the fact that they were already wearing their cloaks to shield them from the frozen tundra known as the Land of Iron.
For hours they walked until they couldn't ignore their growling stomachs anymore "Here I made some jerky out of that boar I caught last night" Sakura handed out what she'd prepared knowing that Fugaku didn't want to stop again.
Just in case "Once again you have surprised me Sakura-san, how is it that you know how to make dried meats like this" Itachi sighed, nibbling on the beef jerky that was really tasty, the best jerky he'd ever had actually.
"She learned from a book a long time ago Itachi-san when it was just the two of us surviving on our own" Karin piped in, as she did the same and feeling grateful for Sakura's forethought otherwise they probably wouldn't have gotten to eat.
Itachi shook his head lightly in amusement "Maybe you could teach me Sakura that way we have another item to add to the line of merchandise for Fragrant Blossom" Haku commented, knowing that Sakura wouldn't refuse him.
And he was right as she relented almost immediately "This trading company of yours how is it going so far" Fugaku inquired, trying to think of ways that he could convince them to share their wares with his clan.
Sakura smiled brightly "Great actually, all of our merchandise sold out during the trial week so we've moved on to the second stage, the trading of goods to sell for the merchants we made deals with" Sakura pat her storage pouch.
Which indicated that all the goods were sealed in a scroll "And what will you be selling, samurai won't have much use for ninja gear" Fugaku cocked his brow at the pinkette who was becoming stranger by the minute.
"True but I'm not bringing ninja gear unless you count the long swords that I'm sure they'll appreciate, seasoning herbs and incense to calm the minds for meditation, see I thought ahead" Sakura declared.
Exceptionally smart beyond that of her peers besides Shikamaru if he wasn't so damn lazy like his Father, Fugaku snorted but said nothing more because he was certain the girl and her teammates would be able to sell everything that had been traded.
On that thought he set an even more grueling pace than yesterday and they arrived at Samurai HQ a little before dinner thankfully "Halt, and state your business shinobi" one of the guards posted at the door commanded.
As they approached "We are here on request of your leader" Fugaku handed over a scroll that the guard read mid way through his head snapped in Sakura's direction clearly shocked at whatever information was written down in that scroll.
Before ordering his fellow guard to go inside and inform the Head Samurai while he led them in himself and to the mess hall after finding a couple more samurai to guard the doors since he was leaving his post.
"Mifune-dono is most likely busy at the moment so please feel free to eat if you haven't already done so Sakura-ojou-sama and company until he is available to meet with you and if you have any questions I, Urakaku will be glad to answer them" Urakaku bowed.
Sakura blinked, most likely stunned into silence until Haku nudged her gently "Right thank you Urakaku-san" Sakura said, giving a little bow back that had Urakaku staring at her like she was some kind of alien or something.
Which made her feel more awkward, perhaps Urakaku sensed that, bowed once more and scurried off to sit at a different table "Ojou-sama what the hell Sakura, why did he call you that" Karin hissed not paying much attention to Sakura's own confusion.
Until she got no answer "I think she's just as confused Karin-san, do you truly not know who your great grand uncle is Sakura-san" Itachi directed the question at Sakura with a concerned expression when she continued to remain silent.
Patience got him a negative head shake two minutes later once Sakura caught on that he'd asked her something "No I've never met him before, my parents didn't like to speak to much of our extended family" Sakura sighed.
No longer feeling hungry to be honest "Eat Sakura I know your in shock but don't neglect yourself in the process" Haku urged as he put a plate full of what he knew were some of her favorite foods down in front of the girl.
She huffed softly at him but picked up her fork and began eating anyway "Looks like the Head Samurai is free now" Fugaku noted when the doors of the mess hall opened and Mifune entered followed another of his subordinates.
Immediately Sakura turned around on the bench verdant orbs wide as the man came to a stop before her "You have your mothers eyes" was the first thing out of Mifune's mouth, Sakura nodded mutely in response.
"Thank you Mifune-dono" Sakura managed to say after a moment with a little bow despite still being seated, again this earned her one of those looks from Mifune this time "Did I do something wrong is it weird to bow" Sakura asked.
Mifune's brows rose "Just surprised as I heard you're a shinobi and most would fine it demeaning to bow that low to someone who is not their Village Leader" Mifune pointed out, still trying to take in the fact that Mebuki's daughter was still alive.
"Or address someone else with such an honorific as Dono but as we've found out Sakura-san is unfailingly polite Mifune-dono" Itachi chuckled, being respectful himself because none of them wanted to ruin this trip for Sakura.
Who had clearly been in need of living family for some time "Karin to Itachi-san" Haku chimed in, wanting the Lead Samurai to acknowledge the redhead since Sakura had claimed the girl her sister and even adopted her into the Haruno Family.
Dark eyes focused on Karin "Yes your Hokage did mention something to the effect of another girl being adopted into the family" Mifune stroked his goatee as he spoke, Karin nodded in answer obviously knowing it was up to him if he wanted to accept her.
As if Sakura could feel her worry the rosette grasped her hand in comfort " I should be objecting to this but I was told you two are quite close and even if I denounce your claim you will still be family regardless to Sakura" Mifune mused.
Deciding that it was in his best interest to acknowledge Karin "I won't let you down Mifune-dono" Karin bowed, to his amusement apparently what the others had said was true about how both girls were unfailingly polite.
"For now I believe its best to retire for the evening, Sakura, Karin rooms have been specially prepared for you and I'll see you in the morning, Urakaku escort the others in my Great Grandnieces party to the guest wing" Mifune declared.
Okisuke jumped to and quickly ushered the girls off "Before we're taken off there are some things I'd like to speak with you about" Fugaku cleared his throat, drawing the Head Samurai's attention, Mifune eyed him.
Then nodded and gestured for Fugaku to follow him while Itachi and Haku were led to the guest rooms "What could the Uchiha Clan Head which to speak with me about" Mifune got right down to business as soon as he was seated behind his desk.
Fugaku held up a finger "First I'd like to thank you for accepting the Uzumaki girl, Sakura-san is quite protective of her and if you'd ignored Karin-san it would likely not have ended well, second how aware are you of what happened while she was thought dead" Fugaku bowed his head lightly.
Ebony irises narrowed in response "Just what I could glean from the Hokage, that she'd lost her memories and had been living in Kumogakure all this time" Mifune admitted, getting the feeling that it wasn't the truth.
Considering the way Fugaku pinched the bridge of his nose "Having amnesia for seven years was true but I happened to find out that Sakura-san lived in a small non-shinobi village for three years, before running into Karin-san where after they were stumbled upon by the Raikage" Fugaku said.
"Hokage-sama didn't lie exactly, the truth was just never explained to him so he's unaware, three more things, what do you plan on doing while we're here and your aware that her parents were traveling merchants yes" Fugaku informed.
Mifune clasped his hands together "Teach them our way of course and yes, it was what led to my grandniece and grandnephew in laws deaths, why are you mentioning….don't tell me Sakura has picked up her parents former trade" Mifune frowned.
The man across from him nodded "Indeed, she is also not alone in her endeavors, but she has brought along some goods that you and your subordinates will find useful no doubt, Sakura-san is exceedingly bright and thought ahead for that" Fugaku smirked.
"Oh and what would we find useful out of gear we won't be able to even wield" Mifune raised a brow, curious to find out what his great grandniece had brought to sell to he and his men while not letting on that he as curious.
Fugaku smirked "Swords, seasoning herbs and incense….last thing treat them well Mifune-dono, both Sakura-san and Karin-san have been hurt enough in their short lives thus far and I won't see them harmed any further, excuse me if you will" Fugaku stood.
Leaving the office where he was led to the guest rooms, meanwhile on the other side of the large building were the girls in question "He acknowledged me as his adopted great grandniece" Karin said for the fifth time.
Clearly stunned by the act of kindness "To bad I didn't get to talk to him longer due to my shock, I really wish I could have worked past that and said something about the goods I carry" Sakura sighed from her position on the bed.
Karin giggled "Relax Sakura we have a week and three days and since your so charismatic all that we brought along will be sold in no time" Karin reminded, laying next to the pinkette on her ridiculously huge bed.
Apparently being family to the Head Samurai had some perks not that she was complaining "Ugh, guess your right, anyway I'm exhausted so goodnight Karin-chan" Sakura yawned while forcing herself up so that she could dress for bed.
"Me to, see you in the morning Sakura-nee" Karin waved, exiting Sakura's separate room and heading across the hall to her own that was equally as grand and not long after taking a quick bath she was snuggled beneath the covers and drifting off to sleep for the night.
Only to be woken by Urakaku the following morning "Ojou-sama it is time to awaken and dress for the day" Urakaku called loudly through the door while Sakura received the same treatment from Okisuke.
Sakura was on her feet in two seconds flat just as Okisuke entered her room "Here please wear this" the bald man placed a pile of clothes down on the end of her bed before exiting just as quickly as he'd entered.
Not completely awake Sakura simply dressed in the traditional samurai clothing that she'd been requested to wear made specifically for young women if she wasn't wrong "You to huh" Sakura snickered when she stood in the hallway.
Waiting for Karin who had been asked to wear the clothing to, at the teasing Karin grumbled moodily under her breath as they were led by Urakaku to the mess hall for breakfast "Good morning Sa….what are you wearing Sakura, Karin" Haku turned on the bench.
Feeling their chakra but his greeting was interrupted in favor of asking the girls on his team about their new outfits "Traditional wear for female samurai in training Haku-kun" Sakura informed a little to sweetly.
Haku understood almost instantly "As far as clothing goes its not bad, you two make it look good even" Haku complimented because he'd been silently warned not to insult the outfit, Karin sighed softly and sat.
"Its weird, don't deny it Sakura, but I'll wear it" Karin admitted quietly earning a look from Sakura who relented with a nod before she hurried off to get breakfast for the both of them and returned with two trays.
That had equally large portions "Ah I wasn't sure if you would accept the clothing, the style suits you, more than it did your mother I believe" Mifune showed up half way through the morning meal, more than a little pleased that the girls were wearing the training outfits.
Viridian orbs focused on him at that "Mom knew kenjutsu" Sakura asked with all the curiosity of a cat, Mifune nodded, then frowned as Sakura furrowed her brow in confusion and he knew what she wanted to ask next.
So hastened to answer "Regardless, she didn't have a true aptitude for wielding swords, so when your Father came the two fell in love and Mebuki left with him and didn't speak of her samurai heritage from then on I assume" Mifune explained.
Sakura gave him a pained smile "I don't think I'm going to be any better at kenjutsu either really Mifune-dono, we've had no training with swords if I'm being honest but we'll do our best to learn if its your intent to teach us" Sakura admitted.
Glancing to Karin who fidgeted uncomfortably beneath his gaze "Kumogakure is known for their sword skills yet in the time you were there no one ever taught you while in the academy" Fugaku interjected with a raised eyebrow.
"Nope when we took the test to see where we would place, we failed at kenjutsu and we didn't exactly go to the academy, Sakura and I were mentored by one of the shinobi that guards Raikage-sama" Karin shook her head.
Itachi shared a side glance with his Father at the admission "The Raikage lent you one of his personal bodyguards to mentor and train you" Itachi inquired, though it did prove now more than ever that the Raikage had cared for the two kunoichi.
Jade orbs softened "Yes Itachi-san" Sakura stated simply, before polishing off her food, prompting Karin to do the same, when they returned Mifune pointed to the spots on either side of him, then led the kunoichi off for their first lesson in kenjutsu.
Haku deflated for a brief moment until he saw Karin subtly motioning to him "Thank you for this opportunity to learn as well Mifune-dono" Haku was there a second later, bowing respectfully and straightening back up in one smooth movement.
Mifune nodded without looking back at the teenager "Itachi how do you feel about sending a message to the Raikage and inviting him here" Fugaku commented, tapping his fingers on the table now that they were alone.
"And requesting a treaty on behalf of those girls, as you command Father" Itachi nodded, seeing where his Father was coming from, it would also mend the burnt bridge between their lands and open communication and trading once more hopefully.
Four hours later after a letter had been written yet not sent off yet Haku, Karin and Sakura entered the mess hall with Mifune on their heels, Sakura and Karin were teasing Haku who was rubbing his thighs with an expression of pain on his face.
Obviously he wasn't use to whatever they'd done for kenjutsu training "How are you two not sore like this" Haku sighed as he slumped onto the bench, aching all over from that four hour session they'd just went through.
Karin grinned widely "Our sensei in Cloud taught us the importance of stretching first even places you wouldn't expect to use we had to stretch" Karin explained, reminding Haku of all the times they stretched before sparring or doing anything strenuous.
"Though it shouldn't take you to long to get use to using those muscles, anyway Mifune-dono if you don't mind will you a…." Sakura was cut off before she could say anymore or ask what she wanted to ask.
As Mifune raised his hand "You may, I was made aware last night of your trading company and I'll allow it since what you brought will prove to be useful to us" Mifune declared, Sakura nodded quietly indicating that this business was important to her.
With that he turned striding towards the doors as Okisuke appeared with a tray of food in hand and, eight minutes later Fugaku finished eating and disappeared quickly before anyone could ask him what he intended on doing.
Itachi however had a knowing glint in his eyes "So what do you three plan on doing with this free time your being given" Itachi turned to Team Thirteen after a moment, already done eating himself so it was just the younger shinobi still shoveling food into their mouths.
Sakura perked up but Haku beat her to it "Sell the goods of course, right Sakura, Karin" Haku looked to his teammates, one of whom scowled good-naturedly at him while the other grinned and nodded in answer.
"Correct Haku after we take a quick shower, pretty sure they don't want to smell sweat as we're showing them what we have" Karin announced, polishing off her food then rapidly disappearing from the mess hall.
Haku blinked when Sakura vanished just as quickly "I suppose they do have a point, I don't want to stink and not attract potential customers because of it" Haku mused to himself as he discretely sniffed his armpit only to recoil.
Thus brought about his own escape from the mess hall to shower like the kunoichi were, five minutes after their departure Fugaku returned sporting a satisfied look "And in four days the Raikage should be here" Itachi relaxed.
As Fugaku sat and pulled out a book, soon Sakura, Karin and Haku were back from showering away the sweat of their kenjutsu lesson "Smart" Fugaku commented when an obviously hand made stall was unsealed.
Filled with all kinds of different goods, that attracted Samurai still in the mess hall to it like bee's to a flower until the stall was completely empty "Sorry that's all we were given" Sakura apologized with a bow.
Realizing how under prepared they'd been for this sale since there were so many people to sell to it would have been better if more good had been given to be sold that would satisfy everyone "That's okay you'll just have to come back with more next time" one samurai assured.
Prompting nods from others "At least she's not neglecting her duties as a shinobi for that company of hers" Itachi said when the stall was sealed away and Team Thirteen left the hall again to explore more than likely, until dinner and finally bed time once again.
