Chapter 9
After days of searching, Ash Ketchum is still missing and Delia has been worried ever since. She has contacted all his travel companions in the past to see if they have found him, but they don't have a clue, instead, they find out they have some of Ash's Pokemon and they all send back to Professor Oak's Ranch immediately.
Now Delia is panicking as something terrible has happened to her son, so she quickly contact Mr. Goodshow as the Kanto Champion to have a meeting. Goodshow agrees as it is a very serious problem, so he gives every Champion and Professor a message to tell them to attend the meeting. Every one of the Champion has arrived, but Diantha is the only one absent and this causes the people there to be confused.
"Professor Sycamore, where is Diantha?" Goodshow asks. "Did you contact her to attend this important meeting?"
"I have contacted her, but she refuses to attend the meeting." Sycamore says with a sigh.
"That is strange, usually she would attend the meeting without any problem." Wallace asks. "Why not this one?"
Lance says, "Wallace is right. Why won't she attend the meeting? Did something bad happen to her?"
Sycamore says, "I also demanded her some answers, but she only says that she can't forgive what we did to Ash and her family. But the fact is, we don't actually know what is going on here."
Delia says, "Wait, you mean...Diantha might know what happened to Ash? Mr. Goodshow, I am sorry, but I will need to ask her in private."
"Sure." Goodshow says as Delia leaves the room to contact her. After entering her phone number, Diantha immediately gets the call.
"Delia?" Diantha asks and Delia is delighted to hear her talking.
"Diantha, it has been years, right? I know it is all of the sudden, but there is something I need to ask you." Delia says.
Diantha asks, "Is it because of the meeting? You should hear from Professor Sycamore that I am not going to attend it." Diantha replies.
"I know, but this is the meeting about Ash's whereabouts. He is still your nephew and aren't you worried that he is missing?" Delia says with a hint of begging.
"I know, I am also worried about Ash's safety, but the only reason I want to talk to you is because that you are my sister in law, in fact, I don't think that I can forgive you for what you told Ash back then."
"But I didn't..." Delia says. "Never mind that, can you tell me what exactly happened back then?"
Diantha sighs and says, "It is simple, you guys are somehow controlled to say bad stuff to Ash. But you shouldn't be controlled like me...did Red give you the Aura Test?"
Delia shakes her head and says, "He could give me if it wasn't for Team Rocket..."
"I see, that explains everything." Dinatha says. "If you did take the Aura Test, then you wouldn't be saying that to Ash. Aura users aren't affected by the control. But even though I am an Aura user myself, Goodshow threatened me by holding the knives to my children. I can't forget what he did, this is the reason I don't want to attend the meeting, I don't want to see the face of Mr. Goodshow again."
Delia gasps as she doesn't know that Goodshow did that to her nephew and niece, she nods and says, "I understand. I am sorry to hear that."
"It is fine. Since I won't be attending the meeting, I can tell you now that he isn't in the Kalso Region as well. I will also help you find him as he is also a part of my family." Then she ends the call and Delia heads back to the meeting room.
Once Delia walks back to the meeting, her expression changes and Professor Oak asks, "So how is Diantha?"
"She refuses to come." Delia says. "And I will act the same if I was in her shoes."
"Why?" Cynthia asks. "What actually happened?"
"Diantha told me that Mr. Goodshow here has the staff to hold their knives on my nephew and niece's necks, all you want is to have her badmouth Ash as the Kalos Champion. I can't believe that you would do this far in order to make my son suffer, you also made my family suffer as well."
This causes the people to gasp, especially Goodshow. "I did that? Why would I ever do that to them?"
Lance says, "The only thing we knew is that we were somehow controlled to do those things, and after Team Rocket is destroyed, we are back to normal. So my assumption is that it is related to Team Rocket."
Delia says, "Not to mention, my husband was killed by Giovanni, and he might also want to get rid of my son...so it was possible."
"So Lance, can you and the International Police search for the truth? And for others, I want you to search the regions to find out if Ash is still alive." The others nod as they end the meeting.
As for former Ash's friends, Delia asked them to find Ash and then they find out some of Ash's Pokemon are in their care, they don't know what happened and why they are in their hands, so they decided to return to Delia so that she can give them to Ash. But the only problem is that they can't find him as well and they are worried. They also see the news, and they find out that everyone is hating Ash and also ruining his life, they are shocked as they don't know a thing.
Serena, Dawn and Lillie are sitting at the park, the three have become friends ever since they are finding Ash. They have shared their information back in the Kalos Region, due to the fact that Dawn's and Lillie's families are rich, they would arrive there with helicopter.
"So did you guys find Ash anywhere?" Dawn asks.
"No, it is like he has disappeared off the face of the Earth...did we hurt him so much that he..." Serena says as she starts to have some bad thoughts.
"Or maybe worse...since the news were targeting Ash, what if he was killed in the process that it was happened?" When Lillie says the words, the three girls are having fear in their eyes as they refuse to accept the news.
Serena says, "That is impossible! Ash won't give up his life until it is over, he is still alive, I know it."
The girls nod in determination, "Then we just need to work harder to find him." Dawn says. Then they decide to change the topic and she says, "By the way, how about we go try out the newly opened Helen's Kitchen? It has upgraded into the 5 star restaurant in the Lumiose City."
"Sure." Serena says as they go to the restaurant. Just as they manage to have a seat, Morris, which is Ash in disguise, is the one that is going to take their orders. Ash is surprised to see the three of them together, and the panic is flowing in his heart, "Oh no...they are here...don't worry, you are now Morris, not Ash. They won't find out if you act freely."
"Welcome to the Helen's Kitchen. Now may I take your order?" Morris says as he takes out the notebook. Dawn, Serena and Lillie feel something from the waiter, but they didn't think it too much.
The three of them have stated their orders and then Ash goes to the kitchen to prepare. But all he does it accidentally spills the salt to the table and accidentally throw the leftovers out of the trash can. Paula and Helen notice that Ash is acting weird andPaula decides to ask, "Ash, what's wrong?"
"The three of them are here, Dawn, Serena and Lillie..." Ash say as he is about to cry. "They are here..."
"What happened? What's wrong with those three?" Helen asks.
"I have heard of it, two of them were Ash's first love, while one of them has a sister and brother relationship with him. But ever since that happened, his love for them is broken." Alice says.
"I see. But they are just here for lunch, right? So after they are gone, you can be back to normal." Helen says, "Why don't you take a rest and leave everything to us?"
Ash nods as he goes to the staff room for rest. And at the same time, Dawn says, "What if we won't be able to find Ash, what are we going to do?"
Serena says, "If that is possible, I am going to partake the Showcases again for Ash's sake. I want to win the Kalos Queen for Ash."
Lillie says, "As for me, I want to partake the Alola League again and this time I want to be the Champion. I also want to win it for Ash."
Dawn nods and says, "Then I am going to be the Top Coordinator for Ash with the same reasons as you two."
But then they frown, "But even if we do that for Ash, we don't know if he will be happy for us or not..."

At the same time, Alice, who was using Double Team and Valerie go into the room and Paula takes them to their seats. Once they sit down and order their menu, Valerie asks, "So you also worked in this restaurant?"

"I see." Valerie says. "You really love Ash that much, don't you?"
Alice blushes a little and smiles, "I know, Mom. Ash is a romantic guy, he always tries to make me happy. He treats me like a Princess and I don't know how to repay him for his kindness..."
Valerie smiles, "You are like myself when I was in your age. Red was also a wonderful person, but if we weren't forced to separate, then would our lives be the same? Would I even meet your father? But it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I enjoyed my life."
"I know, mom." Alice says as their meals are here.
Once the girls are finished eating, they see Valerie. Serena decides to greet her. "Valerie, it is good to see you here."
"Hello to you, Serena. How were you?" Valerie asks. And Alice knows that they were Ash's first love and she doesn't want to say anything.
"Not so good, we are finding Ash, have you seen him?" Serena asks.
"Huh? Ash is missing? Well, I didn't see him anywhere." Valerie says as they frown again. "I am sorry that I can't help you."
"It's fine. We are going to find him again." Serena says as they leave.
Alice says, "Though Ash's heart has belonged to me, I somehow can't help but feel jealous of them."
Valerie says, "I know. But you don't need to worry, since they won't have a chance with you since Ash has already declared his love towards you."
"Yes Mom." Alice says as they continue their meal.
