Kendra was so excited. Eve's father was allowing her to come to Fablehaven for a sleepover. Vanessa was gathering snacks with Mara and Elise. This would be her first ever sleepover. Vanessa promised to show her everything a sleepover could offer. There was a knock at the door. Kendra ran to it and found Eve. She had a pillow. Kendra welcomed her in.

"Where is everyone?" Eve asked.

"All the boys are at Warrens cabin. Vanessa, Mara, and Elise went to get supplies. And my Grandparents took the weekend off for there anniversary." Kendra told her.

"Oh how long have they been married?"

"62 years."

"Wow that's a long time for mortals to be together."

"How long were your parents married?"

"Before my mother died they were married for about 120 years."

"Wow." Kendra said truly amazed. "How old are you?"

"I'm 90 years old." Eve said proudly.

"You look amazing. When I turn ninety I'll look like my grandparents." Kendra laughed.

Vanessa walked in the room with a giant bag of popcorn. Mara and Elise followed with bags of candy. They all picked out a movie to watch that would basically just be played in the background.

Vanessa braided Kendra and Eve's hair. Mara braided Elise' sat talking about random things. Kendra brought up crushes. "Who does everyone like."

"That's mean." Eve whined.

Vanessa didn't hesitate. "Warren."

Everyone gaped at her. "Really!?" Elise asked.

"Yep." Vanessa replied not really wanting to take it further. "Kendra you next."

Kendra blushed a deep red. "U-umm, Bracken."

"Called it." Mara said. "You owe me twenty bucks 'Lis."

"You bet on me!" Kendra squeaked still a brilliant red.

"Yep." Mara said. No shame.

"Fine your turn Mara." Kendra said.

Mara looked around the room. Eye's lingering on Elise and blushed.

"No way really." Elise said.

"Yes. It started a while ago." Mara said clearly embarrassed.

"Me too." Elise told her.

"Alright Eve is the last one." Vanessa said.

Eve blushed deeper than anyone in that room. "Seth."

Kendra burst out laughing. "Makes sense."

"You aren't mad?" Eve asked.

"Why would I be mad?" Kendra asked. "You have the liberty to like anyone. And I'm okay with you two. Just if you take your crush farther don't break his heart please."

"I can handle those conditions." She said.

They continued talking through the night. They didn't realize it was morning until they saw dawn approach. Kendra stood up to make breakfast for everyone including the boys. She made fruit tarts. The boys walked in when she put in the last batch.

"Hello ladies." Warren said as he walked in.

"Hi." The girls said in almost unison. They all sounded tired.

"Did none of you sleep?" Bracken asked.

"Nope." Kendra said. "We never get to talk without you guys around. So we talked all night."

"That's fair." Dale said.

Everyone picked up a tart and sat down. They were extremely happy.

"Best sleepover ever!" Kendra stated.

All the girls nodded in agreement.
