Yeah, it's meant to parallel how players feel when they first play the game. It takes some adjusting and getting used to to handle the gravity physics.

I understand. I also get that you're not a completionist, but I least recommend that you get as many stars as you can get. Because there are a lot of fun challenges in the game. But if some challenges are just too hard for you, you can just skip them.
Well, at least Alex tried.

All Lumas love them.

I'll try to stick with the past tense. Sorry.

Good, EviLPutt is gone. AND DON'T COME BACK! Maybe I'll consider Peach doing a scene like that to Bowser much later in the story. Alex may still be a kid, but he's willing to risk his life for his friends, which is very noble of him.
Nataly Guardado
Don't worry. It didn't do anything to him. He's fine.

Thank you! I took some inspiration from said comic. I like some aspects of it, but I also have a few gripes with it.
For one thing, it's trying a bit too hard to be funny. Such as giving Lumas actual mouths, exaggerated designs, making Mario act very naive, and Rosalina having a sense of humor rather than being calm, collected, and a bit depressed like we know her in the original game. I'm fine with cartoony aspects in Mario for the most part. Heck, that's what I'm doing for my Superstar Saga adaptation. But for Super Mario Galaxy, there's gotta be some seriousness from it. There can be some humor, but we gotta balance it out with some serious moments as well.
Secondly, I like the idea of showing what Peach is doing in the castle with Bowser around. But the comic seems to focus too much on that aspect of the story, rather than Mario's actual adventure we know and love. So much so, that when the comic went on a 6 year hiatus, and recently came back, Mario hasn't even finished GOOD EGG GALAXY yet.
paratroopaCx, if you're reading this (which I don't find likely, but if you are), I love your work, but I suggest you should start putting more focus on Mario's side with a few Peach scenes in between, and have a bit of a more serious tone and less humorous moments to balance it out.
Back to you, Guest, thanks for the cookies! *chews them down*

It's okay. We all have times when we're too busy to read the newest chapter.
Well, now that the collection is released, I hope you enjoy Sunshine (whether you're actually playing it or watching your sister play it). I don't know if your sister is a completionist or not, but if she is, she's gonna need all the luck she can get! There are many hard levels in the game, ranging from the lily pad river, the pachinko machine, some bosses are pretty hard too, multiple secret levels where you lose FLUDD, and the Sand Bird. But worst of all are the Blue Coins. There are 240 of them throughout the game, and you need to get ALL of them in order to 100% the game. There's a reason I didn't include them in my fanfic. If your sister plans on looking for them, definitely use a guide!
Bowser couldn't forget the last time he lifted Peach's Castle into space, so of course he wants it to be different this time.
I actually haven't gotten a close look at those Slurples until recently. So I never thought they were cute. I just brushed them off as pests. They're basically the mosquitoes of the Mario universe.
As for the house… you'll see. Have a good day to you as well!
Bowser
Bowser, what are you doing here? I blocked you after you previously kidnapped me.
Bowser: I broke through! And now I can finally see Mario die in your newest fanfic!
Bowser, you do realize you didn't win in my previous two fanfics. So what makes you think I'll let you win this time?
(Bowser grabs me by the throat.)
Bowser: You better let me win! Or else!
Or else what? You're gonna kidnap me again? Ever since the last time you kidnapped me, I installed a new security that's WAY better than yours could ever dream to be!
(A bunch of laser pointers aim right at Bowser.)
Bowser: Crap…
Now, get out of my house!
(I'm sure you can predict what happens next.)

Don't forget that Luigi and the Toad Brigade were expulsed as well. Rosalina may have to track down their locations. I haven't figured out what interactions Rosalina may have with the two characters yet, but I'll do something with them.
Chapter 9: King Kaliente's Battle Fleet
?
In an unknown galaxy, the Toad Brigade crash landed on top of a huge tree and exploded. The members got out of the now destroyed ship. They were hurt, but had coins stored to keep them from getting too injured.
Captain Toad groaned "Well, I guess our plan sort of worked. But Peach is still captured by Bowser, and now we're separated from our friends!"
"No, it DIDN'T work!" Dylan spoke up. We were supposed to get out TOGETHER and look for Mario! But now we have to look for Luigi, Alex and Leah in addition. Not to mention we have no ship, now!"
The captain sighed. "You're right, but I'm sure we can fix our ship, we just put the doohickey on the thingamabob, and…" he paused, realizing this wasn't as easy as he expected.
"Anyone know how to build an airship?"
The others shrugged, but Jeff spoke out.
"I am a part time mechanic, but I don't know how to fix an airship," said Jeff. "Bowser's minions built them. Not us."
The captain sighed. "Well, just great. Y'know, if we had the parts, we could just build our own ship."
"Why didn't you give us that idea BEFORE?!" yelled Dylan.
"Go easy on him, Dylan!" countered Seth. "None of us knew we'd be sent going on a space journey after the Star Festival got ruined!"
"Zzz… Starshroom…" snoozed Bob.
"Halt!" A voice called, as a swarm of anthropomorphic bees surrounded them. They were equipped with spears. The Toads screamed upon seeing them (except Bob, who's a very heavy sleeper).
"BEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!"
"Who are you, mushroom creatures?!" one of the bees demanded. "You working for Bugaboom?!"
"Wh-Wh-What a-are you…?" Toad stuttered out of fear.
"We'll see what the queen wishes to do with you."
The bees aim their stingers toward the Brigade, making them put their hands up in the air (except Bob for obvious reasons).

Alex was knocked out cold for a long time. Once he finally woke up, he was hoping that he was back at home, in his bed, and all this was just some crazy nightmare. However, something didn't feel right. Instead of waking up with blankets over his legs, a pillow under his head, and a mattress under his body, the boy woke up on a cold, metallic floor.
Alex yawned and tried to stretch, but there wasn't much room for him to do so. And when he tried to raise his head, he bonked it on a glass ceiling.
"Ow!" he winced. Alex blinked several times before finally getting a clear view and taking a look at his surroundings. Nope. He DEFINITELY wasn't home! In fact, he barely had room to move where he was. Alex was sealed inside a small glass dome, and it was awfully cramped.
[BGM: Danger ahead! - Super Mario Galaxy 2]
"Wh-Wh-Wh-WHAT IS THIS?!" Alex began to hyperventilate from the intense claustrophobia he was beginning to feel from this. "Luigi! Toad! Leah! HEEEEEELLLLLP!"
The only individuals who heard his screams however, were two alien robots that approached his prison. They were red UFO-shaped robots that spun on their pointed bottoms, spinning like tops. A spike protruded from their heads as defense, and they had two small black eyes.
The robots scanned the poor kid as he trembled in fear.
"THE ALIEN HAS AWAKENED," one of the robots announced with no emotion to their robotic voice.
"SUMMONING LORD TOPMANIAC," said the other robot.
A large floating back disc came down to the floor in between the two robots. Alex was scared out of his mind right now.
"I wanna go home!" he thought, whimpering.
"WHAT SHALL WE DO WITH THE CHILD?"
The disc scanned the child just as the robots did before. Red lights flashed on the disk's surface.
"LEAVE IT IN THERE. FOR THIS CREATURE IS A THREAT TO THE TOPMAN TRIBE, AND TO OUR ALLIES, THE KOOPA TROOP," the disc spoke in a cold, deep robotic voice. It was seemingly the leader of this "Topman Tribe". "HAVE IT HEAVILY GUARDED, AND STOP THOSE TO TRY TO STEAL IT. PERHAPS THIS ALIEN MAY BE OF USE TO US LATER."
The three robots walked (or rather spun) away. Alex grew tears of grief as if all hope was lost. His only hope now, was that Mario was still out there, and that he would come to save him, Luigi, and his sister… hopefully…

In yet another unknown galaxy, Leah was caught in a huge blizzard in a snowy landscape. She hugged her body as tightly as she could, desperately trying to hold on to warmth and not freeze to death.
"S-S-S-S-Soooo-oooo-oooo… c-c-c-c-cold…" Leah was unable to speak properly because her teeth were chattering to no end. "Alex… Luigi… Mario…" she muttered weakly.
Leah was beginning to lose consciousness as the hypothermia was quickly draining her of it. She fell down to the snowy ground, not wanting to accept such a cruel fate.
"N-n-no…! St-stay up… Leah… S-S-S-S-Someone will c-come and ssssssaaave… you…"
Leah's arm dropped to the ground, confirming that she had fainted. Just then… a group of floating ice-like bodies loomed over her.

[BGM: Interlude - Super Mario Galaxy]
Finally with Luigi, he woke up in probably the most unpleasant looking galaxy of them all. He found himself lying on a round, flat planet made of stone which was big enough to be a boss arena. There was a very tall floating mansion in the background which had gray walls, several windows, a purple rooftop, a spiral bridge leading up to it, and a grassless courtyard with bare trees.
Luigi was instantly spooked by this. More so than when he was approaching the haunted mansion back when he had to save Mario from King Boo. Nothing about this galaxy looked particularly friendly at all. Even the sky was unsettling. It was very blackish, but more blue and white near the vertex. What was spooky about it were the spirits rising up towards said vertex. They gave him serious creeps.
"Wh-Where am I?!" Luigi panicked. "Alex?! Leah?! Toad?! Mario?!"
No response…
"Is a-anyone here?"
The green plumber got up and adjusted his cap. Just when he tried to walk, though, some sort of force stopped him from doing so.
"Huh?!"
Luigi grunted as he tried to pull his feet off the ground, but they wouldn't budge an inch. Looking down, Luigi was horrified to see his feet were SINKING into the stone floor.
"MY FEET!" Luigi desperately tried to pull his feet out, only for his feet to sink even more. The green Mario brother feared that the stone would absorb him and he'd suffocate to death. That was until a black mass materialized in front of him and pulled nearby rocks together, clumping them up to form a giant, four-fingered hand.
[BGM: Horror House of Wax Retro 2 - Spongebob OST (Timestamp 4:04)]
Luigi screamed when the hand grabbed him and he tried to wiggle free from it .
"Welcome… trespasser…" an ominous voice whispered slowly. Luigi couldn't find the source of the voice, but assumed it was coming from whoever (or whatever) was controlling the hand.
"Tr-Tres… passer?!"
A hole opened up in the stone ground, which the hand held Luigi over.
"Allow me to introduce you to your new home…" the voice said with an evil chuckle.
"NO! No, please! I don't wanna go in there, whoever you are! I'm a nice guy!"
The hand didn't listen, and dropped poor Luigi into the hole, screaming.
"MWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Meanwhile with Mario, he was explaining to Luma his whole story.
"So let me get this straight. You're famous on your home planet for going out and saving a Princess from this fire breathing dragon… or… turtle… whatever he is, who lives in a castle surrounded by lava? And you do this every week?!" Luma recited.
"Well, yeah. Most of the time," answered Mario.
Luma giggles. "The only thing that's missing is you having green skin and that green dinosaur you mentioned being a donkey instead."
Mario raised an eyebrow at Lima's oddly specific descriptions. "Uhhhhhhhhh… why…?"
"Just because."
Polari approached them.
"Mario, you're doing a great job so far! So good in fact, that we just discovered a new galaxy three light years away!"
Mario got excited hearing this news. "Really?! That's great! Then we're getting closer to finding the Grand Stars and rescuing my friends, right?"
"True. But I'm still detecting one more Power Star in the Good Egg Galaxy. You should probably go after that Star first," Polari suggested. "Just be careful, for this Star appears to be heavily guarded."
"Will do." Mario used the Pull Star to pull up to the space region again. He noticed the blurry Galaxy with a 3 on it was glowing, but decided he'd visit that galaxy after tackling this last star. Using the Launch Star, our space plumber flew over to Good Egg Galaxy one last time.
Good Egg Galaxy
[BGM: Course Intro - Super Mario Galaxy]
For this last mission, the star was seen glowing from a UFO-shaped magma planet. However, it was heavily guarded with two of Bowser's airships and a saucer planet armed with rolling Chomps and Bullet Bills.
Once again landing on the starting planet, Mario found the Launch Star he needed to take. The problem though, was that it was on top of the red house. The galactic plumber couldn't do so much as triple jump onto the roof, since there was a fence surrounding it.
"How do we get up there?" Mario questioned.
Luma examined the house for a brief moment.
"I see a golden pipe up there. Looks like we'll have to be Santa Claus in reverse. Hehe!"
"But I don't wanna just break into someone's house," Mario argued.
"They said they weren't home, so I doubt they'll even know," argues Luma. "Besides, what other choice do we have?"
Mario thought himself through about this. He didn't like the idea of breaking into someone else's house, but Luma had a point.
"Well, let's just be sure that there really is no one home."
Mario knocked on the door to be sure. After a minute of waiting, no one answered, so he assumed he was clear. The door was locked for obvious reasons, so the plumber had to find another way in. He went to the underside of the planet and found a pipe that matched the color of the one on the roof just underneath the house.
"Maybe I don't have to go in the house. Maybe it'll instantly take me to the roof," Mario thought out loud.
So he went in.
[BGM: Pipe Interior - Super Mario Galaxy]
But he was wrong. The plumber was taken right inside the house. It looked very strange. There was barely any furniture in it for one thing, it seemed to be bigger on the inside, there were strange arrowed ramps that seemed to link to the green, blue, and red brick walls respectively, none of said walls having windows (except the blue window, which had a telescope linking to the outside, if you even count that as window).
Speaking of the walls, they seemed to be decaying away, as shown by the dirt spots on them, and the gravel piles on the ground, showing that this house has seen better days.
Though Mario and Luma were not alone in this rather isolated place. Sitting at a desk against the blue wall was a figure wearing a cloak which showcased many constellations in the night sky, said figure was looking through the telescope, which was this house's only connection to the outside world, due to the lack of real windows. Mario was curious about this person and approached them.
"Um… Excuse me?"
The mysterious person got up from their desk and turned around. He was a man who looked to be in around his late 30's or early 40's. He was certainly taller than Mario and Luigi, but still seemed shorter than Rosalina. But then again, Mario couldn't tell exactly how tall the space woman was due to her levitating above the ground.
The plumber couldn't make out much of this guy, given that most of his body was covered in the constellation-patterned cloak, but he could see his face. The man had a horseshoe shaped mustache a head that was a bit rounder in shape than Mario or Luigi's, and dark blue eyes. He gave a dirty look towards the plumber, and after a moment of silence, finally spoke.
"Can I help you?" he asked in a tone that indicated he did not want to help him. He had a deep voice along with a British accent.
"Um… hello," Mario greeted with a hint of nervousness. "Sorry to bother you, but-"
"Bother me?" the man interrupted. "Judging by the fact that you just barged in here without permission, either you can't read, or you're just looking for trouble. Now, what do you want? I'm busy!"
"Again, I'm sorry. I tried knocking, but you didn't answer. Anyways, I'm helping a friend look for these things called Power Stars. Have you seen any?" answered Mario, being polite despite how rude this guy was.
"Power Stars…" He paused. "No… haven't seen any in decades. In fact… I've just about given up at this point. I don't know why someone like you would waste your time looking for them."
Mario didn't know if he could trust this person, so he decided not to tell him why and just asked for directions.
"Well… I need to get up onto your roof. There's a Launch Star up there, and I need to use it. Do you have a way for me to get up there?"
The man sighed and pointed toward the arrowed ramps mentioned earlier.
"Those ramps change the effect gravity has on you. You'll be able to walk on walls and ceilings. Use them, and you should be reach the pipe on the ceiling," the man directed.
"Oh thank you, sir!" thanked Mario.
"Yeah, yeah. Just go," dismissed the man as he sat back down at his desk. Mario used said ramps to walk across the walls, and up to the golden pipe.
"Good, he's gone," said the man. "Where is he going, anyways?"
The figure looked through his telescope and saw Mario flying to the tropical planets surrounded by tiny water planets.
"What is he up to?"
[BGM: Good Egg Galaxy - Super Mario Galaxy]
Back with Mario, who landed on one of the tropical planets with sand, grass, water and palm trees.
"What's that dude's problem?" noted the Luma.
"No idea. He said he's been looking for the stars for decades. How old is he?" wondered Mario.
Shrugging it off, Mario noticed the many coconuts lying around the planet. He used his spin powers to knock them into the spiky plants that would hurt him if touched, revealing a hidden sling star.
This took him to another tropical planet, where a pokey resided.
"Woah! That thing is huge!" said the Luma, surprised.
"It may be tall, but not too bright." Mario spun a coconut into the pokey, making it fall apart, leaving only it's head, which Mario stomped on before it could revive itself. The next Launch Star was revealed.
The Launch Star took him right to a Sling Star on top of an asteroid with two chimps rolling on it. But the plumber decided not to take the sling just yet and went into the pipe on the other side. Inside was a spherical room with plenty of Goombas, as well as a giant coin with a ? mark on it. Curiously, Mario touched the coin and it disappeared, leaving behind a star that was flashing all the different colors of the rainbow. Luma examined it, confused.
"This isn't a Power Star. What is it?"
Mario recognized this star from a few previous adventures and smiled.
"Watch and learn, Luma." He grabbed the star and it absorbed into him his entire body glowed yellow as the Goombas in the room trembled.
[BGM: Rainbow Mario - Super Mario Galaxy]
"OH YEAH!" Rainbow Mario exclaimed with an echoey voice as he ran all over the room at high speeds, defeating every Goomba. He wasn't done yet, for he went up the pipe and destroyed the two chomps like they were nothing and took the Sling Star. The powerup wore off.
[BGM end]
"Mario…" Luma was awestruck. "That was AMAZING! How did you do that?!"
"That was one of my classic powerups. The Rainbow Star," answered Mario. "With it, I can take out all enemies like they're nothing! It only lasts a few seconds, though. And it's quite rare."
"Makes sense. If you could use that as much as you wanted, Bowser and his baddies would be taken care of already. But that wouldn't be fun."
"Yeah," Mario agreed. Little did he know, he was being followed.
[BGM: Tension - Super Mario Galaxy]
Next up was the Chomp Saucer planet. First up, Mario jumped over the electric wires surrounding the underside, then walking over to the other side, there were rolling Chomps and Bullet Bills homing in on him. The space plumber climbed up the steps while taking out some Octoombas to reach the Launch Star.
At last, Mario reached the two airships which were accompanied by octoombas and two gray octopuses. The bridge was up, so Mario had to take them out.
"These ships…" Luma began. "These ships looks a lot like the ones that Bowser used to attack my mom's airship. And later picked up the princess's castle."
"These aliens must be in cahoots with Bowser," Mario assumed. "How do we defeat them? I can't reach them from here."
Luma examined the Octopus' abilities. They shot two types of coconuts from their mouths. Ones on fire, and ones without fire.
"Hit the coconuts that aren't on fire!"
Mario did so, taking out them both, and lowering the bridge. On the other ship, Mario took notice of a crate that seemed to be glowing and broke it. Inside was a type of mushroom he'd never seen before. It was red with yellow stars replacing the normal white spots. (The Life Mushroom)
"What's this?" Mario examined it before eating it.
"Mario?" Luma worried.
"I… I… I feel… AMAZING!" Mario exclaimed. "I don't know what that mushroom was, but I'm glad I ate it! I feel twice as strong, now!"
"Amazing! And good timing, because I have a bad feeling about this…" Luma worries before brightening up. "But there's no need to worry! I know we can get the stars together! I just know it!"
[BGM end]
Mario nodded and took the last Launch Star. This one took him to a rocky planet with yellow rings. It looked like a target of some sorts, but walking over to the other side of the planet, it looked way different. This side was made out of black tar and hot rock, and had a pool of magma in the middle.
"Well, I guess this is the place," said Mario. "But where's the star?"
"Well, well, well…"
A head rose out of the magma pool it was orange with blue eyes, a white mustache similar to that of King Bob Omb, a large crown with purple and blue jewels, a round mouth similar to Octoombas, and a red neckerchief.
"What do we have here?" The Octoomba-like creature raised it's eight tentacles out of the magma. "A little star shaped pipsqueak… and… AN INSIGNIFICANT HUMAN! Bow down before the great King Kaliente!"
"Hey! Who you callin' pipsqueak?! Give us back my mama's star, right now!" Luma demanded.
"I have no such Star! Now, scram! I don't associate with star beings of your kind, OR humans." The king examined Mario's mustache. "Though, I will admit. Your mustache is very stylish."
"Look, Your Majesty… We really, REALLY need this star!" Mario begged. "Please… My friends have been kidnapped by Bowser and we have t-"
King Kaliente didn't let him finish, for he grabbed both Mario and Luma with his tentacles in a fit of rage.
"Silence! That's KING Bowser to YOU!" he roared. "Pathetic human… You dare address his Royal Koopaness so vilely? YOU MUST DIE!"
The evil king began to strangle the two. Both of them struggling to break free, but it seemed like it was over for them. However, King Kaliente paid no notice to a large object hurtling towards him. Just as he did see it, it was too late. The object hit Kaliente in the face, setting Mario and Luma free from his grasp.
"GAAAAAAHHHH!" Kaliente screamed in pain. "WHO DARES?!"
When the person that hit the king landed on the black tar fort, Mario recognized the cloak. It was the same guy he met back at the house to his surprise.
"I-It's you!"
The man of mystery threw his cloak off. Now, Mario could make out more than just his face. He wore a purple and white spacesuit that had all of the features Mario remembered seeing out of a spacesuit, with the exception of a space helmet over his head and an oxygen tank, since Mario's world makes it possible to breathe in space. He also had black hair that was slicked back with hair gel.
"N-No!" King Kaliente gasped to his horror. "Not you!"
"Hehe! That's right, Your Majesty! I'm back!" The man then turned to Mario, who looked surprised along with Luma. "I figured you needed some help. You looked to be in a huge pickle."
Mario was confused. "Um… thanks, but… why?"
"Hey, you gonna keep asking questions, or are we gonna take this beast down?"
Mario still had questions, but knew he was right. So both engaged in combat.
"INSOLENCE!" Kaliente boomed. "Both of you shall pay for your crimes!"
[BGM: King Kaliente - Super Mario Galaxy]
King Kaliente starts by shooting three coconuts, each of which were on fire. The space man dodged them by taking cover while Mario was burned by one of them. Next, the king shot out a normal coconut.
"Quick! Hit that!" the man ordered Mario.
The plumber did so, and it hit Kaliente in the face.
"Ow! So that's how you wanna play it, huh?" Kaliente teased.
"Be careful! This guy alternates between fiery and regular coconuts." Mario's new ally warned.
"Got it!" Mario gave a thumbs up as he dodged the next set of fire coconuts, followed by a regular coconut, which the man kicked. But to his surprise, King Kaliente deflected it with one of his tentacles.
"WHAT?!"
"Ha! Nice try!"
But while the king was gloating, Mario hit the coconut again, knocking the king's crown into the lava.
[BGM end]
"MY CROWN!"
"Sending back your projectiles over and over again? Threatening us with 'YOU MUST DIE!'? Who do you think you are? Ganondorf?" Mario joked.
[BGM: King Kaliente (Fast) - Super Mario Galaxy]
King Kaliente got so mad that his face turned red and steam came out.
"I WILL BURN YOU!" The king splashed into the lava, sending out blue lava bubbles to chase the heroes.
"He means business now!" the man warned.
"GO, MY PRETTIES! MAKE THOSE IMPUDENT HUMANS MY SUPPER!" Kaliente boomed.
"I don't think so!" Mario retorted.
The other hero distracted the blue fireballs the best he could while Mario deflected a coconut not one. Not two. But THREE times! Taking his last hit King Kaliente began to collapse.
[BGM end]
"GAAAAAAH! NO! How could I be defeated by insignificant individuals such as you two?! I'LL REMEMBER THIS!" King Kaliente said as he sunk into the lava pool. A star came out where the octopus once stood, floating over to Mario.
[BGM: Star Chance - Super Mario Galaxy]
"We did it!" Luma cheered.
"We did, amico!" Mario saluted.
"Amico?" Luma puzzled.
"It's Italian for friend. A pet name I give to friends that are becoming special to me. And I'll admit, even though our adventure just began, you're starting to grow on me."
Luma blushed, and would smile if he had a mouth. Mario turned to the guy who helped him.
"I know. You're gonna start asking questions." dismissed the man before Mario even began.
"I should probably introduce myself. The name's Aster. Aster Ode Galaxium. I'm a traveler who used to roam across the galaxies, taking down dangerous foes like the one we just faced throughout the universe to protect the galaxies. Though I recently retired."
The man known as Aster shook hands with Mario.
"Mario. Mario Aristide Mario." The plumber introduced himself. "Thanks for saving me and my friend, Luma. But… why were you so mean back at the house?"
"Yeah, that… I'm sorry." Aster apologized. "It's just… I've been lonely for years. People have praised me, but I haven't had friends since the day I was separated from my family. I'm not used to socially interacting with others."
"You were separated from your family? That's horrible! No wonder you were so grumpy." confirmed Luma.
"Well… you could come with us." Mario suggested. "We could use a buddy to come along. Besides, if you used to defend the galaxies, you probably know more about this universe than I do."
"Sure, you're retired, but who's to say you can't help save the day one last time?" added Luma.
"Hmm… Well… I suppose I could take in on your offer. Would be nice to explore the universe again," Aster thought about it before finally making his decision.
"Alright Mario, count me in!"
"Alright!" Mario exclaimed as he jumped up to the star.
[BGM: Power Star Get - Super Mario Galaxy]

FUN FACT!: King Kaliente's name was derived from "caliente" which is Spanish for "hot".
