F3: Hello everybody and welcome to Part 2. So far Weiss and Yang had finished their match in the doubles round and now the next match will soon begin. RWBY is the property of Rooster Teeth and Monty. Also Team SPIR along with Melanie Tora and Opheila Sorrel are owned by me. Senka Linwood is owned by MountainKing312 along with Diana Mirai and Akane Shidou are owned by Decode9. With that said Let's Get Started.
Volume 3-21: Double or Nothing (Part 2)
In a separate room Ironwood was looking over what he could and trying to come up with the best laid plan to capture Rina if things went south. First he needs to know who else knows her identity. First he had a feeling that her team she was apart of would know who she is but he would then dismiss that fact.
He then considered if their was any family around that she'd had left. Unfortcunantly he had dismiss that fact as well since her mother died at child birth while the father commited suicide. He rubbed the temple of his head trying to figure things out until the door opened behind him.
He turned revealing Penny as she gave a salute "A pleasent afternoon sir." Penny replied.
"What brings you here Penny?" Ironwood questioned.
"I want to report that my match will be coming up soon and that my battle preparations are complete." Penny replied.
The general only nodded at this "Very well. I wish you luck in the next match." Ironwood replied.
"Their is time before my match so I was going to see if I can get a look at this Rina person you've been talking so much about." Penny replied.
"She'll most likely be in her teams room waiting for their match. Take extreme caution and don't give yourself away about what you're doing." Ironwood warned.
"Yes sir!" She said in a cheery tone as she walked off to find her destination.
"Hopefully Carmen is doing better on her end." Ironwood thought not even knowing what Carmens true mission was.

After Yang and Weiss's match Winter pulled Weiss and began explaining everything that had happened to her during that time and why she couldn't return to the SDC.
"So let me get this straight. Jacque tricked you into going to a private school without your conscent and you saw him bribe the driver. Furthermore years later you ended up going into the military but as a lawyer but then was medicaly discharged due to sustaining an injury from a suicide bomber. Then you and this Goodwin character made a law office in Mistral. Argus I suppose." Weiss replied as Winter nodded.
"Yes. Believe me I wanted to return home but I doubt I would've gotten a warm welcome." Winter replied.
"Yeah. He'd pretty much erased you from everything he had but luckily I still managed to save a few of them before he could burn them all. Got a few lashing out of it but it was worth it." Weiss replied.
Winter let out a gentle smile before placing a hand on her sisters shoulder "You have certainly gotten stronger. Not just phycially but your mind as well." Winter replied.
"Well... you have Pepper to thank for that. She helped me keep going even when I was going to give up. I'm glad to call her a friend." Weiss said.
"Though I do wonder about something." Winter started.
"Wonder about what?" Weiss asked not even knowing that Winter sneaked her other hand behind Weiss and gave a little jerk of the tail.
"How your tail would look with a small bow on it?" Weiss questioned smuggly as Weiss jerked Winters hand away from her tail.
"Hey! That is attached! And I by no means you are putting a bow on my tail!" Weiss shouted.
"Your right... a bow with a bell on it would sound better." Winter said as Weiss's eye twitched.
"Oh you are so dead!" Weiss shouted as she jumped at her sister but Winter summoned glyphs below herself making a trail of them.
"Catch me if you can sis!" Winter shouted back as she glided along the glyphs.
"Oh it is so on." Weiss smirked as she summoned her own glyphs and gave chase after her sister while Yang and Raven looked on.
"Looks like they're going to be okay." Yang added.
"A bond between sisters may sometimes come undone but it'll never break no matter what comes between them. Just like you and Ruby." Raven said.
"Yeah." Yang replied before her rang as Ruby was calling her.
"Hey sis what's up?" Yang questioned.
The blond then nodded "Alright me and Weiss will be their to help set things up." Yang said as she hung up and put away her scroll.
"I'm guessing Ruby needs something." Raven smiled.
"Yeah. I better go grab Weiss. We'll talk more later mom." Yang said as she went off to grab her partner.
Raven only smiled as she watched her daughter walk off. She began to think back when her daughter was much younger and much more energetic than she is now.
The black haired women decided to go back to the stands to watch the next match.
=RWBY=
In another part of the arena Penny was walking toward the team room where Pepper and Rina were at. Next to Penny is another girl that appears to be her teammate. The women has dark skin, short navy blue hair and blue eyes. She also has a gold marking consisting of an oval shape surrounded by four smaller circles in the center of her forehead.
She wore a blue beret, a plain off white golden button-down shirt with an asymmetrical collar, a blue combat skirt with black waistband and fingerless, elbow-length black gloves with a wristwatch on her left hand and black shoes alongside white, golden buttoned boot chaps.
"Are you sure that this is a great idea?" The girl asked.
"Do not worry Ciel. This is what I believe they call 'checking out the competetion'. Besides I want to get a good look at this Rina girl." Penny answered.
"Very well but remember our match will be coming up soon so we better make this quick." Ciel added as the two approached the room where Pepper and Rina were waiting in.
"So we got a plan for when our match comes up." Rina asked.
"If anything we'll have to stick to our guns but we make sure to help each other out whenever we're in trouble." Pepper replied.
"Also lets make sure to not get separated from each other that'll be the first thing they'll try to do." She added.
A knock came to their door "Wonder who that could be?" Pepper questioned as she got up from her spot and went to open the door only to reveal Penny and Ciel.
"Oh hey Penny. Didn't know you were competing." Pepper replied.
"Pleasure to meet you again Pepper. You look chipper as ever." Penny added with a smile.
"You know this girl Pep." Rina said crossing her arms coming into Pennys view.
Penny got a good look at Rina and at first wasn't impressed. However Penny already began analyzing Rina and scanning her.
"From what I can tell she's a spider faunus. Fangs in her mouth for injecting paralyzing or poison toxins." Penny thought as she looked at Rinas hands.
"Sacks in her wrists that contain webbing to fire from the palms of her hands. She hides herself pretty well. She can almost be mistaken for a human." Penny thought.
"Right you two never met. Rina this is Penny Polendina. Penny this is my partner Rina Trill." Pepper introduced them before looking toward the other girl.
"And you are who exactly?" Pepper questioned.
"Ciel Soleil. Penny's teammate for the doubles round." Ciel replied.
"Well then if you have to face us then you know you're going to have a hard time with us." Rina joked.
"Oh I wouldn't want to face you yet before singles round come up." Penny said but for some reason a shiver went down Rinas spine which was unsettling to her.
"May Team Penny please report to the arena. Repeat Team Penny to the arena." The announcer stated.
"That's our cue. We better get going Ms. Polendina." Ciel gestured.
"Of course. To the arena we shall go!" Penny cheered as the two walked away from Pepper and Rina.
"Man that girl certainly is energetic. Am I right Rina?" Pepper said but didn't get an immediate replied from Rina who was currently processing what she meant by what Penny said.
"Hello. You in their Rina." Pepper said waving her hand in front of Rina.
"Huh? Sorry I must've gotten distracted by my thoughts." Rina rubbed her head sheepishly.
"Well... okay though I think we should go over our strategy again for our match." Pepper replied as Rina nodded in agreement though she still had what Penny said on her mind.
"What did she mean by that? Does she already know who I am and not saying anything or is it for something bigger that I'm not seeing." Rina thought as the next match was about to begin.

Meanwhile in the upper parts of the stands Winter and Weiss were looking over the arena as the next match was about to begin.
"Wow actually watching the match from above is quite breath taking to say the least." Weiss smiled her tail swaying a little.
"It most certainly is." Winter added smiling as well though she looked curiously at the tail that her little sister had.
"So how'd exactly that happen anyway?" Winter questioned. Weiss gave out a gentle sigh as if seeing the question coming.
She pulled something out of her pocket which was the very thing that turned her into a faunus.
"This is the Faunus Heart. An artifact from the olden days." Weiss said holding it in her hands.
"It's rather small for a heart don't you think." Winter added.
"Well this turned me to what you see today. If a speck of human blood touches the heart you are turned into a faunus with no chance of reversing it." Weiss said putting it away back in her pocket.
"And your alright like this? Being a faunus." Winter asked and to her surprise Weiss nodded.
"At first it was a pain but I've come to terms with it and well it has it's up sides their are some downsides as well." Weiss replied and almost immediately a smell came to her nose as a concession stand had finished cooking a fresh patch of hotdogs as they steamed.
Weiss for her lick her lips as the smell invaded her nose before quickly smacking herself to get herself under control.
"Like that for example. My senses are much stronger than normal." Weiss quickly added.
Winter chuckled a little at that "I don't care if you're a faunus you're still my little sister." Winter replied.
That did bring a smile to Weiss as the two decided to watch the match.
"Alright now I know you've all been paticent thus far but now let us begin the next match of the doubles round!" Port announced getting the crowd hyped up for the match.
"For this round it'll be Team Penny from Atlas and CRDL from Beacon! May each representative please step forward." Oobleck announced as each side sent out their members.
Penny and Ciel stood on one side while Cardin along with his teammate Dove Bronzewing.
Cardin held his large mace at the ready while Dove brought out a bronze short sword.
Penny unfolded her backpack as four swords came out and seem to hover above her as if ready to attack at any given moment while Ciel stood by Pennys side as she clicked her boots together activating a set of bladed bracers on her feet.
The dial then began to spin to decide what area it should be for their battle. The dial then suddenly stopped on a symbol of a leaf. The battlefield then began to shift as tall grass suddenly appeared all around them.
"And it looks to be the grassy plains. This'll most certainly be an interesting showdown." Port announced.
The buzzer rang for the start of the battle as Penny wasted little time as she motioned her swords to attack the two. Dove swiftly dodged the attack using his acrobatic skills and even blocking the attacks with his sword while in mid air. Cardin slammed his mace down on the ground sending debris in the air to block the swords before using his mace like a bat and swung a home run hit sending the debris toward Penny.
Ciel however was quick to move as she delivered swift kicks to the debris destroying them on contact. After destroying the debris got into a fighting stance as she balanced on one leg while using keeping her leg up and her knee bent as if ready to attack again at anytime.
Cardin scoffed at this as he twisted the bottom of his mace as the mace itself became a flail type weapon as he began swinging it around to gain momentum. Dove took his sword and placed it on his left armored arm. With a quick flick he struck it as his sword suddenly ignited into flames as its fire dust activated.
"Careful Dove we don't want to have a fire break out here." Cardin warned him as Dove nodded.
Penny swords gathered around her again as she planned another attack as Cardin and Dove decided to rush at them as Cardin jumped in the air and then swung his flail at the two but Ciel quickly intercepted it as she kicked it out of the way allowing Penny to send her swords directly at Cardin.
He didn't have time to avoid it as the swords came at him dead on cutting at his aura knocking him down to under half of his aura while Dove met Ciel as he raised his sword to attack her and she blocked it using her boot. She kicked him off her before launching herself at him trying to get a hit on him but he wasn't exactly the most easiest person to hit.
But it didn't last long as Penny swords changed course and began attacking Dove as they also began cutting into his aura. Dove had to jump back to get away from the attacks before anymore of his aura was depleted. Cardin decided to not focus on Penny but her other teammate Ciel as he charged at her launching his flail at her.
Ciel responded by kicking it away from her before charging at Cardin and just as swift delivered quick yet powerful kicks to his sides and a hard heel kick to his chest sending back a few feet but he wasn't finished just yet. However the quickly changed when he noticed his partner Dove come flying in at him after taking another slash from Penny.
"I think it's about time to finish this wouldn't you agree." Penny said to Ciel.
"Yes ma'am." Ciel nodded in agreement.
Penny's backpack ejected three more swords to her side as Ciel trigger her semblance which seemed to prevent Cardin and Dove from moving.
Penny's swords split up in three pairs of three swords as they started charging energy as an energy orb appeared in the center of each of them and seemed to be getting bigger. A few seconds later of charging energy Penny pulled her arms back before gesturing them forward and on command three beams fired from the orbs blasting at Cardin and Dove as the beams exploded on contact.
The attack was just enough as Cardin and Doves aura finally broke as they fainted from the impact of the blast.
"Impressive battle as Team Penny takes the victory." Oobleck announced as the crowd cheers for them.
"How long was that battle anyway?" Penny questioned as Ciel looked at her watch.
"Five minutes at best ma'am." Ciel answered.
"That'll do." Penny said as the two exited the arena but more importantly she looked specifically toward the cameras well knowing who was watching.
=RWBY=
Weiss and Winter finished watching the match. While Weiss was quiet impressed by how Penny and her teammate fought but Winter while she didn't show it had a look of anger and disbelieve. She heard her scroll buzzed in her trenchcoat as dug into its pocket to get as she answered the scroll.
"Speak." Winter said as she spoke to the person on the other line.
"Yes she's right here with me." Winter replied as the person spoke to her.
"Very well. I'll bring her along so that you can explain to her." Winter replied as she hung up putting away her scroll.
"Weiss I need you to come with me a moment." Winter said in a tone Weiss was familiar with.
"Okay... what's going on? Are you in trouble?" Weiss questioned.
Winter shook her head "No. That was a..." Winter began but made sure no one else was nearby to listen.
"That was an informant that wants to meet with the both of us." Winter replied.
"Will it take long? I've got something I'm helping with later today." Weiss asked.
"It'll be brief. I promise." Winter replied.
Weiss thought a moment before giving a gentle nod as the two then departed from the arena.
It was in another part of the arena that was secluded enough that no one would come finding them.
"Um... you sure it's alright for us to be back here?" Weiss questioned as she stuck close to Winter.
"Don't worry my informant should be here any moment now." Winter added.
As if on cue Winter felt a familiar presence that came from behind them.
"Been a while Ms. Schnee." A female voice said but it was all too familiar for Weiss as her eyes suddenly went wide looking toward the direction of the voice as she saw a familiar shade of red hair that flowed down her hair.
"You!" Weiss snarled seeing the same women she saw on Menagerie.
"Oh and a hello to you too Weiss." Carmen replied sweetly only to be met with a right hook from Weiss.
"I thought we've dealt with you on Menagerie! You should be in prison!" Weiss shouted.
Carmen rubbed the spot where she'd hit her before turning to Winter "You haven't told her yet haven't you." The red head replied.
"I was about to before she clocked you one. I take it something bad happened between you two." Winter replied.
"Bad. BAD! This women killed someone on Menagerie and was posing as me!" Weiss shouted.
Carmen only sighed at this "Okay let me clear the air right now. That person I killed was an informant from the SDC to spy on Menagerie. I simply removed it from the issue at hand. Plus it was the only way to get your attention." Carmen replied.
"Get my attention... for what?" Weiss questioned.
That was when Winter stepped in "Carmen is my informant that is spying on the SDC from the inside. Keeping me informed of any recent activities coming from their." Winter replied.
Weiss brain short circuited a moment before shaking her head to get herself focused.
"So wait all that back at Menagerie... was just you..." Weiss replied as Carmen nodded.
"Yes. Besides I think you would know me better. I would never hurt even if someone ordered me too. Plus it was Winters last wish that you were to be looked after and I simply followed my orders." Carmen replied.
"I know we want to reminisce but I believe you have something for me to know about." Winter replied.
"Of course and it isn't good. It about General Ironwood and his plan for capturing a certain thief that has been going around Vale." Carmen replied.
"The Spider correct." Winter said as the red head nodded.
"Plus what's worse is that he has someone that knows the Spiders idenity. Some women named Euryale Oboro." Carmen replied as Weiss recognized the name.
"Wait a minute. She should still be in prison after killing the owner of the dust shop in Vale a few months back." Weiss replied.
"Seems to me that the general has made a deal with this women. More than likely he'd let her go if she'd help capture the spider. Whoever it could be." Winter replied but Weiss seemed to fidget in place which went unnoticed by her sister and Carmen.
"Weiss... you have something to say." Winter said as Weis gulped nervously.
"I... may or may not know... who the spider is." She started.
"And..." Winter gestured her to go on.
"Okay look before I say anything else you have to promise me that this stays between us three okay." Weiss said as the two nodded in agreement.
Weiss then sighed before continuing "The Spiders name is Rina Trill. Don't ask me how I'd know cause it'll only be more trouble for her to deal with." Weiss said.
"Very well. Carmen where are you suppose to be right now?" Winter quickly asked.
"I'm to report back to the general immediately before the next match." Carmen replied.
"Good. Get back to him but try to keep a low profile so that nothing happens. Also if you see him doing anything weird message me immediately and if you're in any danger you're to get out of their by any means necessary." Winter ordered as Carmen nodded before leaving the two Schnees behind.
"Hope she's careful." Weiss said.
"Yeah... me too." Winter as she silently prayed that Carmen a safe return.
=RWBY=
Meanwhile back in the arena the next match has already begun as Emerald and Mercury were going full tilt into their battle which considering their opponents this wouldn't be much of a surprise to them. On the opposite side it was Coco and Fox that they were currently going up against in the tournament.
The battlefield remained a neutral area which meant it was a straight up battle and currently Coco and Fox were winning as Cocos weapon was doing most of the work while Fox stayed back as bullets flew out of her weapon.
The purse she carried with her was now a large minigun with a large yellow clip along with a handle to carry it.
"You're enjoying aren't you." Fox simply said as Coco simply laughed.
"Are you kidding!? I've been wanting to teach these punks a lesson. Make them understand who they disobeyed." Coco said as she continued to fire her weapon as Mercury and Emerald continued dodging her attacks.
"We can't get close not with that weapon of hers." Emerald replied as she tried firing her guns at her but having little effect.
"Does that thing ever run out?!" Mercury shouted as he jumped to avoid the attack however a misstep caused him to trip on his feet falling over.
Coco saw her chance and took it she began firing directly at him ignoring Emerald completely. That was the opening Emerald needed though as she closed her eyes and consentrated. Almost in a flash Mercury was gone from Cocos line of sight as she stopped firing as well as Emerald disappeared as well.
"What the hell!? Where'd they go?!" Coco shouted trying to figure out where they were. However Fox was quick to pick up even though he's blind he activated his own semblance as a he let out a pulse of energy out on the floor. While it didn't hurt anyone it did however reveal where Emerald and Mercury were which they were coming straight at the two from two sides of the arena.
"Damn! You take Mercury! I'll play with Emerald." Coco said as she turned to aim her gun but because of its bulky size it was difficult for her to maunuver it into position while Emerald had no trouble getting up close and personal with as her sickles folded out underneath her guns as Emerald cross slashed at Coco as kept on the pressure making sure Coco couldn't get off another shot.
Fox and Mercury's legs collided as they both began to fight throwing fists and kicks at each other but what surprised Mercury was that Fox was keeping up with him even though the guy was blind.
The two caught each others fists they power struggled against each other trying to push the other one back. Mercury jerked his head back to deliever a headbutt but apparently Fox had the same idea as their heads collided not even caring for the headache the two will get as their forehead remained touched.
"You three were fools if you thought you could escape her reach. You'll soon learn that the hard way that no one disobeys our queen!" Fox said but to his surprise Mercury took a step forward and was starting to push him back.
"Sorry to disappoint you but we're no longer her property got it?" Mercury says shortly angered.
"She took us in, but we never liked it. She had Tyrian kill Amber as well as set that fire, she lied about our friend's death, and...we just grew sick of the actions we were forced to carry out in ther name." Mercury said as he despised the number of people he and the rest had to kill or she'd do away with them without question, her exploiting Cinder for her powers, and how they knew unlike most of them their was always someone who cried over the lose of the ones they killed.
Mercury pushed Fox away before delievering a series of rapid fire punches at Fox hitting his stomach and face in several spots on him. He then finished it by delievering an uppercut hitting Fox's chest sending him up into the air as Fox then landed hard his aura shattering.
Meanwhile Emerald continued her pressure on Coco however the girl managed to block on of her attacks with her hand before shoving her away.
"You think you three can change the world. Nothing will stop her from getting what she wants. You know that and I know that as well. So you might as well give up the fall maidens powers now and I'll let you live when this is over. Maybe even make you my personal pet." Coco said as she lined up her shot but only to find out that Emerald was already in front of her as she slashed at her.
"You think you got everything figured out huh. Here's a news flash for you. We don't give up so easily and neither does Cinder. She knows the risks and she's willing to die before she gives up the powers of the fall maiden. We may not have the power to change the world." Emerald said as she hooked onto Coco's weapon before disarming her completely but not letting go of it.
"But we can make it a better place." Emerald finished as she the used Coco's weapon as a club and clobbered Coco on the side of her head knocking her back aways as her aura finally shattered.
"And that is the match. What an impressive performance by Team CMNS representatives. A staggering upset against the second year of Team CVFY." Oobleck announced.
Meanwhile back in the team room with Pepper and Rina as they looked on as the match concluded.
"Didn't that seem a little odd to you." Pepper replied.
"What do you mean?" Rina asked.
"Their at the end. Both of their aura were nearly gone and just like that they pulled come from behind win like their lifes depended on it. Theirs something I don't like about this." Pepper added with a suspicous look.
"Relax will you. We got to prepare for our match too." Rina said and almost as if on cue the intercom rang.
"May representatives of Team SPIR and Team AMLT please report to the battlefield." The intercom said before cutting off.
"Speaking of which let's get going. It's showtime." Rina replied as the two headed out but Pepepr still had the match on her mind as if something was very off about it.
