Shortly after the murder of her boyfriend, Melvin Ishtar. Yūgi's attitude shifted and her aggressive behavior was soon noticed by her friends and family and eventually some very dangerous people who became interested in her "talents".

Yūgi stopped coming straight home from school and even broke curfew on occasion. We all knew something was going on with her. One thing she never did was allow anything she did in the streets to come to our home. What she did in the streets, stayed in the streets. Me and Durga were still concerned for her safety, that's when we reached out to Kuai Liang and Sareena to keep an eye on her when she was in the city.

I knew Yūgi started running the streets and getting herself in trouble but, when I found out she started working for Timeaus Knight I became worried for her safety.

By the beginning of 2003 Yūgi started hanging in local bars, playing pool and shooting dice as a hobby as well as to make extra money. In February of 2003 she got into an argument with a known drug dealer named Jaden Yuki after he refused to pay her after reportedly losing 2 games of pool. This confrontation drew the attention of the leader of the infamous west side knights , Timeaus Knight.

Apparently Jaden was upset that he lost not only 2 games of pool to Yūgi, he owed her $300 dollars from a bet he made against her. When she demanded the money he owed, he told her "I'm not giving you shit" and shoved her. That's when she grabbed the pool stick and hit him until the stick broke and took her knife and put it to his throat. Then he reached in his pockets and paid her the $300 dollars.

When we heard about this crazy ass chick beating the shit out of Jaden with that stick over $300. Timeaus thought she would make a good "debt collector".

Hermos Knight,

Brother of Timeaus Knight

Co-founder of the west side Knights

In a rare televised interview, Hermos Knight, one of the founding members of one of the most dangerous gangs in the Midwest, The west side Knights. He's also the younger brother of its notorious leader, Timeaus Knight. Hermos is currently serving a life sentence at USP Atlantis supermax prison after pleading guilty to a single count racketeering and 6 counts of first degree murder in 2005. The youngest of the brothers, Citras was acquitted of all charges related to the 2005 trial however, a year later he was killed in a shootout with police. Timeaus was tried and convicted for running a continuing criminal enterprise and 6 counts of capital murder in 2005. He was sentenced to death by lethal injection and was executed on March 14th 2012. Yūgi was also faced charges in connection with the 2005 raid. She was facing 6 counts of murder and 10 counts of extortion. She was acquitted of the murder charges, however she was convicted of only one out of the 10 counts of extortion and was sentenced to 26 months in federal prison, but was released after serving only 9 months for good behavior.

I remember seeing this crazy ass little girl in that bar on west Madison. I asked her; aren't you a little young to have your little ass in here? Then she said; aren't you a little old to be asking stupid questions? Ordinarily I would slap the shit out of some kid talking crazy to me, but I admit, shorty had heart, hell I liked the little brat. Not on any pervert type of shit, but she wasn't taking no shit from anyone, she had more courage than any of these so called OG's on the street.

Hermos Knight

While Timeaus wanted to recruit Yugi, he also understood she was still a minor. So any missions she was assigned Timeaus would make sure it didn't affect her school schedule or get her in any trouble with her relatives. He had her mostly collecting money that was owed to the westside knights and encouraging local gang members to pay "taxes" if they wanted to make money in their territory.

When Yugi turned 18 in the summer of 2004 she had access to her trust fund

Which was worth close to $750,000 dollars. Surprisingly she didn't blow her trust fund, she bought a condo on the northside of Chicago located at 1000 N Lake Shore drive in the Gold Coast neighborhood, which cost her $250,000. The rest of the money she put in a bank account.

I told Yugi she didn't have to move out but she told us that she didn't want tobe a burden. To be honest my husband and I were concerned for her safety and she agreed to come over and visit. I just wish we tried harder to convince her to stay a little longer.

Durga Bakura

When my niece received her inheritance. I was surprised how well she managed her money. Most 18 year olds would blow their money on nonsense like parties, drugs and vacations. The only thing she bought was a condo and the rest of the money she put away only using it when she absolutely had to. She made enough money from working for Timeaus to live off of. Sadly her association with Timeaus would get her in a lot of trouble.

Kuai Liang Zhao

By the end of 2005 Yūgi's reputation for "putting in work" had earned her plenty of allies and a few enemies in the criminal underworld . One of those enemies was found dead in an alley on the west side of Chicago near Roosevelt and Independence. That enemy was Ushio Tetsu.

On August 3rd 2005, at 11:30pm an employee of Rothschild liquor store went to empty the trash shortly after closing. He discovered the decomposing remains of 22 year old Ushio Tetsu. According to the medical examiner, he had already been dead 48 hours prior to the discovery of his body.

At the time of his death, Tetsu was being investigated for a number of home invasions, robberies and unsolved murders dating from 2002. He was suspected of being involved in a robbery and home invasion that resulted in the deaths of 2 members of the westside knights and $20,000 dollars worth of marijuana and cocaine and $10,000 in cash. He was also a suspect in the unsolved murder of Melvin Ishtar, as well as other crimes on the west and northside of Chicago so there was a number of people who wanted Tetsu dead, including Miss. Mouto-Sennen.

Just over 2 months later on October 30th, 2005 there was a series of raids conducted by the CPD targeting the westside knights. Those raids resulted in the arrest of Timeaus,Citras and Hermos Knight along with Yugi and several associates of the westside knights. One of those charges Yugi was facing was the murder of Ushio Tetsu. Despite having a clear motive, she wasn't the only person who had a motive to kill Tetsu.

We knew without a shadow of a doubt Yugi was responsible for Ushio's death. She had every reason to want him dead. Unfortunately so did Timeaus Knight and several other people and that fact alone is the reason why she was acquitted of his murder. We didn't believe she was involved in the other murders and that fact was verified by Hermos Knight himself.

Yugi ended up only serving 9 months of a 26 month sentence at FCC Edinia, a medium security women's prison. When she was released on November 3rd 2006. She decided to turn her life around and walk away from the criminal life. Unfortunately someone else had other plans for Yugi that would lead her to go down a spiral path that would lead her to physical and mental pain and eventually sitting on death row in a federal prison.

I've decided to add Tea in the story, she'll have some significance in the story

I've also added Jaden, Rex Raptor and Weevil Underwood because I find them very annoying and Yugi needed somebody's ass to beat. Rex and Weevil will be mentioned in the next chapter.

The Next chapter Yugi will talk about her beef with Jaden and meeting Timeaus, Citras and Hermos, her actual role in Ushio's death and her time in federal prison.
