10. Authors Note I

I hope your enjoying the story so far, in truth this started out as a pet project out of boredom so thanks lockdown.

I just wanted to clear a few things up:

For starters there are going to be some minor changes to events so things don't seem too rushed. I felt in the show everything seemed so rushed once they got to the Vytal festival and a lot seemed to take place over like 2 days. I guess they only really needed to show fights between the already introduced teams but it seemed like back to back fights when really such a large festival and the tournament would be over a couple of weeks realistically. I'm going to try and intermix it so that's it got the in-between of the fights as well as the fights themselves. Lets face it a team like RWBY especially with Yang and RWBY their gonna celebrate every victory at least a little.

That being said there will still be a dance with the usually couples as the show but Pyrrha and Jaune will be going together rather then meeting at the dance. It will also be separate from the Vytal festival for plot reasons as things need to take place in-between so its going to be a normal dance just for the time of year like most normal schools have.

The next few chapters are also going to be mainly development between characters so I can build up relationships before more fighting chapters as the festival approaches.

I've written out most of it so I can keep fairly regular updates to the story hopefully.

This is also going to be somewhat of a Harem story but I wanted to keep the pairings limited so its not just one character dating the entire cast but that's more so for the future.
