Chapter Ten: Prepare For The Fight
Back in the centre of New York City, Leo, Donnie, Mikey, Raph, Venus, and Splinter were in the middle of the city, awaiting Shredder and his allies to attack. The street was empty, as the civilians knew that Shredder would attack wherever the turtles were. So they all kept their distance.
"Right, this is it, folks!" Leo stated, as he took out his swords.
"Are you sure Shredder will even find us here?" Raph asked, as he took out his sais.
"Wherever we are, Shredder will follow." Donnie replied, as he took out his bo-staff.
"Well, a couple of soldiers I'll definitely take on! They're never that strong anyway!" Mikey states, as he takes out his nunchucks.
"I am ready when they are!" Venus stated confidentially, as she took out her war fans.
"I may not be as young as I once was, but I can still put up a fight when I need to!" Splinter mentioned, as he raises his staff.
"Shredder should be here any moment now." Leo thought.
Suddenly, they felt the ground shaking. This caught them off guard for a moment, and they looked straight ahead, and were shocked when they saw the Technodrome making its way towards them.
"We have arrived in Manhattan, Shredder! Ready to make turtle soup for dinner!" Rocksteady told him.
"Marvellous! Bebop, let the men know, and be ready!" Shredder alerted.
"With pleasure!" Bebop responded, as he walked towards the microphone in the control room.
"Foot-Soldiers, we have arrived in New York, in Manhattan! The turtles are ahead of now as we speak! Once the doors open, we will prepare for battle!" Bebop told them.
The turtles and Splinter look on towards the Technodrome in shock.
"Isn't that the Technodrome?!" Mikey asked.
"Indeed it is!" Donnie replied.
"But, does this mean he has Krang with him too?" Raph wondered.
"If he does, we will prepare for him as well!" Leo stated.
"I will do whatever it takes!" Venus mentioned.
"Be cautious however, we do not know yet what Shredder could be up to." Splinter warned them.
The Technodrome then stops directly in front of them, and the doors open. Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop emerge from the doors to reveal themselves. The army of Foot-Soldiers were waiting behind them. The turtles and Splinter look on with the intention to fight. Splinter stood in front of the turtles.
"Well, took you a long time to show yourself again, Saki!" Splinter told him.
"Indeed it did, Splinter. And for very good reason." Shredder chuckles.
"What, like killing my people, including my father, you bastard?!" Venus yelled in rage, as she tried charging towards him. She was held back by Raph.
"Ah, so you must be that Shinobi that Chung I mentioned. Interesting, because I never expected you to be a mutant turtle, like the other four." Shredder looked on in surprise.
"It doesn't matter what she is, Shredder! Mutant, or a human, she could even be an alien, we are all in this together, to stop you once again!" Donnie called out.
"Is that what you really think? Last time may have been true, but this time is different, now I have developed a new technique to finally be rid of you all, for good!" Shredder chuckles again.
"Speaking of alien, you're in the Technodrome. Where exactly is that little brain looking friend of yours hiding? Krang?" Mikey asked.
"Oh, yes, Krang. Well, let's just say he's sleeping. A very DEEP sleep. A very deep sleep, after I punctured my blades right into the only vital organ he has." Shredder chuckles, as he raised his arm, showing his blades, chuckling evilly.
"Oh my God!" Raph exclaimed.
"He wouldn't have dared!" Donnie added.
"You, do that to Krang?!" Mikey exclaimed in surprised shock.
"Impossible! Krang is very powerful!" Leo mentioned.
"He was, but he's only powerful if he's in that artificial body that I built for him. Lucky for me, when he falls asleep, he's never in that thing, he usually sleeps in his little pod." Shredder told them.
"But why?" Splinter asked.
"Because, Splinter, I was born to be a leader, and how can I rule anything, when I still have something that is in charge of me?! I have been done being a slave to that useless brain looking bastard! So I had to be rid of him, in order for ME to rule the world! Not Krang, ME!" Shredder yelled in rage.
"So you decided to take the cowardly way to rid of him? Wait till he was vulnerable, then attack him? That's not the Shredder I remembered! The Shredder I remember at least had balls! What happened to them, Shredder? Lose them, after the last time we kicked your ass?!" Leo called him out for it.
"I had to do what needed to be done! It matters not how I have done it, just as long as I got the power, got what I needed, and I get to take over the world at the end of the day, that is all that matters, and all that I care about!" Shredder explained, in rage.
"Well now that you are here, how about we stop this nonsense, and we beat you here and now, again?!" Leo asked while being serious.
"I may not be the strongest, but I'll fight at whatever cost to stop you!" Mikey told him.
"Me too!" Donnie added.
"Count me in!" Raph finished.
"For the sake of Shinobi, I will avenge them!" Venus stated.
"Prepare for the war, Shredder, for your reign will end!" Splinter added.
"Oh well, be my guest. Rocksteady, Bebop, Foot-Soldiers, ATTACK!" Shredder yelled.
As Rocksteady, Bebop, and the Foot-Soldiers ran towards the six in front of them. The turtles and splinter also charged towards them.
"COWABUNGA!" the four turtles yelled.
Venus didn't know what that meant, but at this moment she couldn't care less. The only thing that mattered right now for her, was that she gained revenge for her people, who were viciously murdered by Shredder, and his army of Foot-Soldiers.
