Chapter 11 Ray and the McCords
They drove to Pittsburg for the weekend to see Mary and Patrick. They thought her chemo was going well and she was having a good weekend, so it was a good time for them to come up. They drove up Friday right after school and dropped off Stevie with Shane and Amelia. Ali was going to stay with Erin and Jason was going to stay with Maureen as she had kids closest to his age.
Saturday morning everyone came to Mary and Patrick's for brunch. Henry Made Breakfast for everyone. They spent the day together sending the kids outside to play as it was a warm day. After supper everyone left except Henry and Elizabeth they sat with Mary and Patrick playing cards and just spending time together. Henry could tell his mom was weaker than she had been. When Mary and Patrick went to bed he went to the store and bought groceries to make a few small casseroles to put in the freezer. He made 7 of them and he and Elizabeth cleaned up the kitchen and went to bed.
Sunday morning, they all went to church. Elizabeth wasn't big into church but would go for Mary. After Church they went back to Mary's and everyone came over for brunch again and Henry cooked for everyone. After Brunch Erin and Elizabeth cleaned up while Henry went and packed their bags. He told his parents about the casseroles they were not impressed and told him they didn't need taken care of.
"I live 5 hours away and I can't do much mom please just let me do this for you" Henry pleaded with his mom
"Fine but next time we will buy the food we don't need handouts" Mary quipped back
They loaded all the kids into the car and made the drive back. Henry had a feeling they would be driving this most weekends from now on. Mary was weaker than before and even though they would never admit it they could use the help. The other kids helped a lot to, but each had their own families and responsibilities the least Henry could do was help on the weekends. Elizabeth and Henry talked about it and one of them at least would make it up there on the weekends at least for a while.
Getting home Sunday night, the kids all got a quick bath and one story and into bed. It was already late and they had school the next morning. When it was time for bed Henry curled up into Elizabeth and cried, the whole weekend had been over whelming and they weren't' sure how the chemo was doing.
Mary had an appointment that next Thursday. Elizabeth was going to find a sub for her class and drive down there to go to the appointment. Henry had a faculty meeting he couldn't miss and the girls had their first soccer and basketball game over the weekend so Elizabeth was going to take Jason and spend the weekend down there.
Monday morning had came to early and it was the first day of their classes for the semester, Elizabeth was anxious abut her class she had Ray in her first and last class of the day. What a way to start my Mondays she thought to herself. Henry didn't like that Ray was in her last class of the day. It was an evening class and that made him nervous. Mike B also had an evening class. She agreed that she would let Mike B walk her to her car even though she thought it wasn't necessary, Henry had threatened to load up the kids and meet her to walk her to her car otherwise.
Monday was an interesting day, she met Henry for lunch in the cafeteria and Mike and Ranee and Erin Blackshaw had sat with them. Ranee and Erin were both drooling over Henry, but he seemed to not notice at all. Henry pulled Mike aside after lunch confirming that he would walk Elizabeth to her car after her class.
"Hey man I promise that dude freaks me out I had him in my class this morning there is for sure something off about him." Mike told Henry
After lunch Elizabeth offered to walk Henry to his next class. They walked together holding hands and enjoying conversation between the two of them. When they got to Henry's class, he pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek. He looked up and saw ray standing across the hall just staring at them. Henry's blood began to boil. He checked his watch he did not have time to walk Elizabeth back to her office, but he did not want her walking back with him following. Right at that moment one of Elizabeth's students stopped to talk to her.
"Dr. McCord I am not sure if you remember me, I was in your class this morning my name is Blake" Blake looked at Elizabeth not sure if she would remember him. 100 students were a lot
"Aww yes what can I do for you?" Elizabeth answered
"I am looking for a TA position and was told you have one available." Blake asked.
"Blake why don't you walk back with Dr. McCord to her office and make your case on the way" Henry suggested.
Elizabeth looked at Henry and could tell he had a reason for this.
"That would be great sir, of course if its ok with Dr. McCord" Blake answered
"yes, that would be great Blake" Elizabeth said as she turned, she saw Ray glaring at them, and she knew right away why Henry had suggested Blake walk with her.
"Blake if you could just wait a over there for a second, I need to talk to Dr. McCord" Elizabeth told him
Elizabeth stood on her tippytoes and whispered into Henrys ear, "ok Ray is creepy for sure and don't worry I will have Blake walk me all the way to my office" She kissed his cheek and took off walking with Blake.
"Dr. McCord may I ask who the guy was that was glaring at us from across the hall and is now following us?" Blake asked with out looking around or making it obvious
"your hired and I will explain when we get to my office. When is your next class?" Elizabeth was impressed with Blake he was very observant and that would be important.
"Not until 3 Ma'am." Blake answered
When they got back into Elizabeth's office Blake asked her if she would like the door open or shut. Elizabeth told him to go ahead and close the door. She texted Mike to have him walk down the hall and see if Ray was hanging outside her office. Mike texted her back that he was sitting down pretending to read his book was upside down though, so mike was quite sure he wasn't reading.
Elizabeth put her phone down and apologized to Blake she then explained that this student was in most of her classes and he had not done anything yet but just made the hair stand up on the back of her neck.
"Ma'am he makes the hair stand up on my neck and I am pretty sure I am not his prey" Blake told her
Elizabeth cranked her head sideways and looked at Blake.
"sorry if that was inappropriate" Blake told her with a smirkle on his face
Elizabeth and Blake discussed the TA position. Blake was in three of her classes he was doing a double major in Finance and political science. He had been in one of her classes last semester and was so impressed he added another Major.
"so, you're going to do two majors and be a TA" Elizabeth questioned Blake
"yes, Ma'am I really like a challenge." Blake answered
Blake explained he was in her class this morning, and he was taking her evening class and then cold war class. Elizabeth was happy to know that he was in her evening class figuring if Mike couldn't walk her to her car Blake could. Henry would be super happy to know that. They decided he would be her TA for her evening class, and she explained to him that Ray was also in that class so when possible, she would want him to stay until Mike was there to walk her to her car or for him to walk her to her car. Blake was more than happy with this arrangement for some reason he felt the need to protect Elizabeth he was not sure why as he was sure she didn't need it and was just agreeing to make her husband feel better.
About 2:45 Blake turned to leave her office and noticed Ray was still sitting in the hallway glaring at Blake as he came out of the office. Blake put his hand inside of the door and turned the lock before shutting the door and walking away. Elizabeth had a class at 3 so she wouldn't be able to stay in her office much longer but at least it was in the same building and she didn't have to go far.
Elizabeth exited her office to see Ray still sitting there
"Hey, can I help you with something Ray?" Elizabeth asked trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice.
"I was wondering if you had a TA position available?" Ray asked starting at Elizabeth like she was prey
"sorry I just hired my last TA, I need to get to my class now I will see you later." Elizabeth responded and started walking towards her class. She noticed that Ray was behind her following her to her class. She got out her phone and called Henry knowing he would be in his office. He didn't answer but she just talked into his voicemail like she was having a conversation with him. When she got to her class, she said goodbye and hung up.
Her 3:00 class went by smoothly Ray was not in this class, so she was much more relaxed and enjoyed the class. It went by quickly and she didn't have another class until 6. She texted Henry she hadn't memorized his new schedule yet.

Elizabeth didn't really want to admit how much Ray was freaking her out, she knew she could take him if need be, but it was just more uncomfortable than anything. She started walking to her office when Blake strolled up next to her.
"Ma'am I swear I am not stalking you to I was talking with my friends when I noticed you had an admirer and so I thought I would walk with you are you headed to your office?"
"Blake, yes I am headed to my office where the other Dr. McCord will be meeting me" Elizabeth told him
"Aww yes the handsome man you were snuggled up to in the hallway earlier. I have heard a lot about him from my female friends he has quite the cult following" Blake teased her
Elizabeth laughed "yes I am well aware"
"you have a cult following also Ma'am and not just the one following us but like a whole band of them" Blake informed Elizabeth who just gave him her sideways glare.
When they got up to her office Henry was standing by the door and noticed Blake walking with Elizabeth and Ray following behind trying to act like he was not following her. Henry went to walk past Elizabeth to go have a talking to with Ray when Elizabeth grabbed his hand and pulled him back towards her.
"Babe we can't engage it will just make it worse" Elizabeth pleaded with him
Henry huffed but listened to his wife and walked with them back to her office. Elizabeth unlocked her office door and went inside
"Thank you Blake I will see you this evening" Elizabeth told Blake
"Ma'am would you like me to walk with you to the class or will the other Dr. McCord be accompanying you" Blake asked
"The other Dr. McCord will be accompanying her but I really apricate your offer" Henry told Blake.
Blake started to exit the office and Henry followed him
"Hey Blake? I really apricate you are watching out for my wife here is my cell phone number and Mike's cell phone number so you guys can make sure one of you will be here to walk her to her car. If not please text me and let me know. My wife can handle herself, but she shouldn't have to." Henry explained to Blake.
"Sir I have no doubt she can handle herself and I agree she shouldn't have to. Blake agreed with Henry and left to go find his friends. He saw Ray standing down the hallway starting at Elizabeth's office. He knew Henry was in there, so he wasn't worried. He texted Henry so that he would have his number also.

Yes, sir we exchanged them earlier Blake
Henry and Elizabeth sat in her office working together till about 5:30.
"Wanna go grab a quick sandwich before your class" Henry asked Elizabeth
"I am not really hungry I will eat tonight when I get home, but I could go for a walk if you want" Elizabeth told Henry.
They went outside and walked around campus for a while the crisp air felt good. Elizabeth was chilly but Henry put his arm around her and pulled her in close. Henry walked Elizabeth to her class. He kissed her cheek and pulled her in for a hug.
"please be vigilant and drive carefully tonight" Henry pleaded with her
"oh boy, you worry to much you have Mike and Blake watching out for me I will be fine and remember I am trained to kill with my bare hands" Elizabeth teased back
Henry let her go into her class, he needed to get home to let Ms. Janie go home for the evening although he really didn't want to leave Elizabeth.
When henry got home, Ms. Janie had made supper and the kids were sitting down eating. Henry thanked Ms. Janie and she headed home while Henry sat and ate with the kids. After supper henry called his mom to talk to her for a little bit and she talked to each of the kids while Henry worked on cleaning up from supper. Henry got bedtime routine done and all the kids in bed. When he received a message.
I am running a few minutes late, Blake can you hang out with Lady E and I will be there in a few to walk her to her car - Mike the night and shinning whatever
Sure, no problem she is getting impatient whining she misses her husband – Blake the bodyguard.
Henry was cracking up laughing he was happy that she had two goons protecting her even if she didn't want it. His phone dinged again
Tell Lady E to calm her jets I am on my way and the professor will be waiting patiently for her when she gets home- knight and shinning whatever
I told her she told me to tell you to shut up and move faster – Blake the bodyguard
Professor Lady E has been passed to her knight and shinning whatever they are walking to her car now. Lady E only complained the entire time – Blake the bodyguard

Henry chuckled a little and went down to finish picking up the house. He heated up Elizabeth some leftovers and was pouring her a glass of wine when she walked in the door. Elizabeth walked over to Henry putting her arms around his waist He pulled her in and hugged her tightly, kissing the top of her head. He sent a quick text to the goons
Hey Lady E made it home thank you for your help- Hank the husband
"The day is about over babe, lets get you fed and to bed" Henry grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the table pulling out a chair for her. He put her food and glass of Wine down for her and sat across from her. Elizabeth ate and finished her wine. Henry sent her up to get ready for bed and he loaded her dishes in the dishwasher. He did one more walk around the house making sure it was locked up for the night.
Elizabeth stopped in each one of the kids' room and kissed them goodnight, she was sad that she didn't get to put them to bed. She went to her room and got ready for bed. When Henry got upstairs, he finished getting ready for bed and then climbed in bed and Elizabeth scooted close to him and laid in his arms. "just hold me close tonight" Elizabeth whispered Henry pulled her in tighter and they fell to sleep.
Tuesday was much of the same She had Ray in two classes that day also. He seemed to be lurking every time she left her office. Her and Henry at lunch together. Tuesday night was Henrys night to have a late class.
"are you going to have someone walk you to your car professor" Elizabeth teased
"I don't have a stalker babe" henry joked back
"you do have an entire cult following." Elizabeth made a point and tried to be serious.
They continued to joke and talk during lunch. After lunch they went back to work Elizabeth had a class and then office hours. At 4:30 Elizabeth decided she would leave a little early since Ms. Janie had stayed late the night before. She packed up her bag and headed home.
Elizabeth got home and let Ms. Janie go, she ordered supper as they all knew better then to let her cook. While they were waiting for supper, she took the kids out to see the horses. When supper arrived, they headed in. She had them wash up and they sat and ate supper each kid telling Elizabeth about there day yesterday and today. They cleaned up supper and the kids sat down to do their homework. Elizabeth sat down and colored with Jason as he didn't quite have any homework yet. When homework was finished Elizabeth packed the kids in the car.
Where going to go buy groceries so that dad can make some meals for Grandma and Grandpa. We need to go quick though so I can get you guys to bed. Henry had been planning to go tomorrow but Elizabeth thought she could help him out as they had some extra time tonight.
When they got to the store, she put Jason in the cart and had Ali hold Stevie's hand. They made a quick trip and got everything they needed. When they got up to the register, she noticed that Ray was by the front door. He was just standing their staring at her. She asked the worker if she could get help to the car. When a young gal came over to help, she looked around and spotted a guy around her age and called him over to the register. She flirted a little asking if he could help her out to the car not wanting to scare the kids. He agreed, while he put the groceries in the car, she got the kids in. She then explained to the man why she didn't want the young gal helping and asked him to keep an eye out. He noticed the man standing a few cars down staring at him.
"thank you, ma'am, for telling me we will keep our eyes out." They man told her
Elizabeth started the car and backed it up the man standing to the side making sure she got out of the parking lot. He taped on her window and whispered that the other guy and gotten into his car also and explained what type of car it was so Elizabeth could make sure she was not followed. Elizabeth left the parking lot and started driving home when she realized he was following her. She was not sure what to do. She needed to get the kids home to bed but also did not want Ray following her. She noticed it was already 8:00 Jason should be getting into bed. She texted Mike as she knew Henry had class till 9
What are you doing? - E
Just headed home what's up- Mike
Can you meet me at the farm? Ray is following me- E
Do not let him follow you to the farm – Mike
Well, I need to put my kids to bed- E
Where are you- Mike
The B &B store off market street. - E
I live right down the road just keep driving around the parking lot- Mike
A few minutes later Mike whipped into the parking lot and texted Elizabeth
Park your car I want to see if he will park also – Mike
Elizabeth parked her car and Ray parked his car a few stalls down, Mike texted Elizabeth
I am going to pull my car behind Ray's so he cannot pull out you pull out and head home – Mike
Mike then whipped in and sat behind Ray's car so he could not move. Elizabeth hauled ass out of the parking lot and made it home in record time checking that no one was following her. When she got home it was 8:30 she decided to leave the groceries in the car for now and just get the kids inside and the house locked up.
She sent the kids up to get their Jammies on and asked Stevie if she would help Jason. Elizabeth made sure the house was locked up tight. She was worried about the horses, so she texted Mitch, who lived in a house on the property.
Can you make sure the barn is locked up tight and then come talk to me at the house- E
Sure, is everything ok- Mitch
Not really, I will explain when you get here the house is locked so just knock and I will let you in-E
This concerned Mitch as they did not usually lock the door until everyone had went to bed for the night. After all they lived on a farm 20 miles out of town with there closest neighbor being 4 miles away. He got on the 4-wheeler and drove up towards the house. He noticed a ford explorer sitting on the side of the road as he drove up the driveway. He went and checked on the Horses and locked up the Barn. He then walked up to their house. He knew Henry wouldn't be home till 9:30 or so it was only 8:45. He walked up and knocked on the door and announced it was him.
Elizabeth looked through the peep hole and opened the door inviting him in. She locked the door behind him. She asked him if he would stay in the house with the kids while she went and got the groceries out of the car. He told her absolutely not he wasn't sure what was going on but that car made him nervous and until he knew what was going on hew would run and get the groceries. He unlocked the door and headed to her car she unlocked it for him. She locked it after he went out and waited by the door to let him back in. He brought them in and made another trip out to get the rest. She waited so she could let him back in and then relock it once he was in.
Once all the groceries were in she relocked the door and grabbed a bunch of sacks to take them to the kitchen. Mitch kicked off his boots and took some sacks to the kitchen also. Mitch helped her put groceries away while she explained to him what was going on.
"what kind of car does the kid drive" Mitch asked her.
"I think it's a Ford explorer or something that looks like that" Elizbeth told Mitch
"well, I think he already knows where you live. When I was riding up there was a explorer sitting across the road" Mitch warned her.
"Do you want a drink? I need a drink" Elizabeth was trying to not act worried, but Mitch had been her friend since grade school he knew better.
"Is the Gate at the end of the driveway locked" Elizabeth asked. They didn't usually lock it until everyone was in for the night
"I locked it up when I saw the car, Mitch was trying to comfort her.
"I need to text Henry, so he knows but I don't want him worrying while he is driving home." Elizabeth looked at Mitch trying to decide what to do.
"I will just message him" Mitch told her as he got his phone out. He wanted to make sure Henry drove home safe and he would be distracted if he knew the creep was by their house.
Hey, I came up to the house to have a drink with Elizabeth and locked the gate on my way up forgetting that you weren't home yet- Mitch
All right buddy no problem I will be home soon- Henry
Elizabeth and Mitch sat and had a drink talking about the horses and how the new foal was doing. They were laughing when they heard the door handle turn on the door. They both froze when they heard a key go into the door and Henry walked in. Elizabeth let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. Henry walked over to her and pressed a kiss to her lips before saying hello to Mitch and grabbing a beer.
Mitch asked Henry if there was still a car sitting across the road when he pulled in. Henry tensed up and said No. Elizabeth then explained her night to Henry keeping her hand on his arm trying to keep him cool.
"Why didn't you text me" Henry shouted. Not meaning to sound so harsh.
Elizabeth looked at him "babe you were in class and I made sure that I wasn't alone and that I was safe.
"what would you have done if Mitch had been out." Henry asked a little softer this time.
"I would have left the groceries in the car and stayed in the house until you got home. I do have a gun and I know how to use it." Elizabeth didn't like being treated like she was helpless especially Infront of other people even if it was Mitch.
Henry took a deep breath "I am sorry babe we need to go to the dean tomorrow this is getting out of hand."
"I agree Liz this guy is dangerous not just following you around school but now following you home" Mitch expressed his concerns to her
"Not yet, Lets bring him in and make it very clear and if he continues then I will go to the dean, but I don't want to ruin this kid's life." Elizabeth pleaded with Henry
"Fine tomorrow after your first class you asked him to stay and I will meet you in there and we will set clear guidelines." Henry was exasperated with the situation, but it was Elizabeth's choice.
They sat and talked for a little while longer, Mitch finished his beer and stood up. Is there any other night that Elizabeth would be home alone" Mitch asked
"No just Tuesday nights when I have class. Ms. Janie is here with the kids though everyday till I get home and Stevie rides the bus home and they drop her off at the curb between 4:45 and 5:00 everyday and she walks up the driveway." Henry explained to Mitch as he talked, he began to worry.
"ok I will make sure I am working by the house when Ms. Janie gets home everyday with the younger two and if they are going to be outside, I will have Ms. Janie text me so I can work up by the house. I will ride out with the 4-wheeler and meet Stevie at the bus and ride her up to the house." Mitch told Henry as he was getting his boots on.
"oh, Babe you still need to eat" Elizabeth got up going to the fridge to find him something to eat
"Babe I grabbed a sandwich before class I am not hungry. Lets just go to bed." Henry grabbed Elizabeth's hand and started to pull her upstairs.
"wait we need to make sure the house is locked up and did you relock the gate? Elizabeth asked Henry worried
"Babe I locked the gate you go up and get ready for bed and I will double check the house is locked up" Henry told her
"I need to lock up with you otherwise I won't sleep." Elizabeth pleaded
They walked around the house double checking all the windows and doors. They headed up stairs and stopped at each of the kids' room so Henry could say goodnight, Elizabeth checked their windows to make sure they were locked.
When they got to their room, she pulled their curtains closed and checked the windows. She then went and got ready for bed. Henry got ready for bed neither of them saying much as they were both in their own heads worrying about different stuff. When they finally got into bed Elizabeth curled up to Henry. It did not take long for Henry to fall asleep, but Elizabeth could not shut her mind off. She laid their wide-awake till about 3am and then decided that she would get up and see if she could get some laundry done.
Elizabeth got the dirty clothes out of all the rooms and took them to the laundry room to sort out. She started a load and got the clothes out of the dryer and folded them taking them to each of the kids' room and her room to put away. She then took the laundry basket downstairs and switched over laundry. She then decided that she would pack her and Jason's bag as they were going to Patrick and Mary's for the weekend. She went into Jason's room and packed him a small bag first. She then went into her room and started packing a bag for herself when Henry woke up.
"Babe what are you doing up? Its 4 in the morning." Henry asked still ½ asleep
"I couldn't sleep, and I was tired of staring at the ceiling, so I got up to do some laundry and then I decided that I would get our bags packed." Elizabeth answered him trying to keep the worry out of her voice.
Henry got up and wrapped her arms around her one around her shoulder and one on her upper waist pulling her close to him holding her tight. She put her head against his shoulder. She loved the way he smelled and felt. She turned around in his arms letting him comfort her wrapping her arms around his waist pulling him closer she could not get enough. He stood there holding her for a while letting her just hang on.
"we could get a couple hours of sleep if you wanna try" henry suggested
"I don't think I can sleep my mind is just everywhere, we could play scrabble" Elizabeth joked
"Oh Boy, I don't stand a chance at 4 in the morning but if you wanna play I will" Henry answered her hoping she really didn't want to play
"Like you would stand a chance even if it wasn't 4 in the morning" She joked back
"we could play strip Scrabble" Elizabeth winked at Henry
"Deal" henry responded as he went downstairs to get scrabble game
Elizabeth just laughed he was too easy.
"OK what are the rules of the game" Henry asked when he returned
"If you lay a word less then 15 points you have to take off a piece of clothing. If you lay a body part the other person must kiss that spot for 30 seconds. The first one naked loses. If you get a triple word score you have to get the other person off with just your mouth" Elizabeth explained the rules
They both drew a letter; Elizabeth drew a c and Henry drew a z. Elizabeth went first laying a word worth 25 points. Henry went next laying a word worth 16 points. When it was Elizabeth's turn again she laid a word thinking it would be worth more then 15 points but it was only 14 points.
"Damn it" Elizabeth grunted as she pulled her bra out of her t- shirt
Henry just laughed a laid the word toe.
"eww gross please don't make me kiss your toe" Elizabeth pleaded while they both busted up laughing
"that word is only worth 12 points, so you have to remove a piece of clothing" Elizabeth said trying to distract Henry.
He pulled her shirt off and told her "suck my toe"
Elizabeth leaned over and took his big toe in her mouth, grateful that his feet weren't' super gross and he was a pretty clean guy. She sucked his toe for the 30 seconds.
When it was her turn to lay a word, she laid boob. Henry laughed,
"babe there isn't anything on you I wouldn't want to suck or kiss for 30 seconds
Henry sucked on her boob for 30 seconds she held on to his head trying to keep him they're longer enjoying the pleasure. He laid his next word it was only 14 points. He had to take off his boxers. He was thinking it was not fair she was so much more dressed than he was. Her next word was only 12 points. She took off her Pajama pants. She looked good in just her Pajama shirt her long legs showing he wanted this game to end and end soon. His next word was 30 points. Her next word was only 14 points she removed her underwear. When Ray left the room, Elizabeth walked over to Henry and put her arms around his waist. He pulled her in close offering her the comfort she needed. Henry suggested they walk for a while as neither of them had class till after lunch and had some free time. Mary's appointment was at 3 that afternoon. When Elizabeth pulled into Pittsburg, she dropped Jason off with Maureen's kids' babysitter. Maureen and Tom were going to ride with her to the doctor's office. They stopped by Mary and Patrick's house to drop off the food. Elizabeth left the receipt on the counter hoping Mary and Patrick would forget about it but also knowing better. Mary was going to ride with them, and Patrick was going to meet them there as he was coming straight from work.
When they arrived at the hospital Elizabeth wished Henry could have come with her. She had been a part of Henry's family for over 20 years but still sometimes felt like an outsider when it came to Maureen.
The doctor stated he wanted to do surgery and see what they could get it was shrinking but they also found new bouts of cancer. They wanted to do surgery as soon as possible hopefully Monday morning. Elizabeth was not sure what all this meant but knew she needed to see if Ms. Janie would stay so her and Henry could be here for the surgery.
When they left the doctor's office Elizabeth stepped aside to call Henry she had promised him she would call as soon as the appointment was over. She explained everything and told him he needed to find a sub for Monday and Tuesday at least. She would take care of finding a babysitter for Ali and Stevie they decided since Elizabeth was already here she would just stay and he would come up Sunday night.
Elizabeth called Ms. Janie to see what she could help with. She stated she could stay Sunday night and as long as they needed including taking and picking up the kids from school. Ms. Janie stated she would be to their house on Sunday at 1 and Henry could leave whenever he needed to.
Elizabeth called Jason's school and explained that he would be gone some of next week and explained what was going on. Elizabeth then asked Maureen if her babysitter would mind keeping Jason on Monday also.
The weekend went by quickly Jason stayed at Maureen's house for most of it as he loved playing with his cousins. Henry got in Sunday evening around supper time. He brought pizza for everyone and they sat around eating pizza and playing games. Shane and Amelia stated they needed to leave as Sara had school in the morning.
