This is 21st chapter. Right now, this chapter will be in character focus which it may take a while to do some research in the manga of Maken-Ki. Also, I'm just trying to keep those elements original as I can, along with my OC's attack which it was based on Final Fantasy. I don't own the series of Maken-Ki.
Mind you guys, I'm just doing those stories for fun, nothing more, nothing less.
Somewhere in the Ocean
Zane leaned forward against the railing of the ship when he stared at the island with his calm eyes.
He was wearing blue track pants with white stripe on each side, white sneakers, and his black sleeveless shirt with a military camouflage patterns.
Yesterday, Zane have given his sister some serious discussion about the attack from yesterday and the incident in Tenbi from 10 years ago. She was shocked when her brother told him that the assailant was none other than her boss, Catherine aka Gorou which it happen to him before sense he was manipulated by Kamigari since he was one of those who assaulted a female student, like Akaya.
Zane was thinking about what Kamigari's next move which few months back, they've sent someone to collect some data from the students which it didn't end very well for the first one since he's a grunt, along with a second-year student named Amio since she's been manipulated by Kamigari, few days ago, they have sent Venus kidnap Himegami since they did their dirty work, but yesterday, the assailant attached Haruko since she's still felt fatigued due to that attack she used when Takeru came to her rescue which he saved her from being shot and the Shinatsu siblings stopped the assailant's attack. Zane and Takeru were the only ones who knew the truth about Kamigari and the incident from 10 years ago and Azuki now knew about it when he told his sister.
'Kamigari...What was your next move?' Zane thought with his serious expression. Azuki shows up at the top of the boat, noticed that her brother was thinking about Kamigari as she approaches him.
She wore a grey tank top, showing much cleavage, and black shorts with a pair of running sneakers.
"Zane, are you okay?" Azuki asked with concern, making him snapped out of his thought.
"Y-Yeah...Yeah sorry." Zane answered with an apology.
Azuki give him a nod as she spoke.
"Thinking about Kamigari?" Azuki questioned, getting a nod from her brother.
"Yeah, I was thinking of what was Kamigari's next move." Zane told her. "As far as I know, there's no telling about Kamigari."
Azuki can understand what he meant which he was right about Kamigari, there's no telling when will they strike. She joined him in leaning forward against the railing.
"I understand what you mean, but we're in summer vacation, you just need to relax a bit and try to have fun." Azuki told him with a smile. "Besides, you need to try and loosen up a little."
"I can understand that coming from Haruko, but you?" Zane said, raised his eyebrow.
"I'm just looking out for you. After all, I'm your sister, and I'm a year older then you which it's my job to watch over you." Azuki told him.
"Be that as it may, but I've been away from Tenbi since 11 years and I have been keeping in touch with you and our family." Zane argued. "Which I've been watching over you longer than you have."
"Only because you've been paying some bills that needs to paid and you kept sending money for us so we can live." Azuki retorts. "You may have helped us more than I have, but it's my turn to help you and it's my turn to watch over you."
Zane couldn't help but chuckle a bit which she might be right about it as the Shinatsu siblings burst out of laughter.
"Look alive!" Minori shouted as she slapped the Shinatsu siblings backs, making them lean farther forward from the force behind her.
"We're almost there, you two." Minori told them with a grin as she wrapped her arms around Zane's neck, causing Jin to bonk the Principal's head, leaving a bump on her head.
"You two better get inside and your things, because we're almost there in the island." Jin told them as he dragged Minori away from them, leaving Zane and Azuki blinked for three seconds as they stare each other.
"Jin's right, we should get inside." Azuki said with shrug.
Zane nods with an agreement as they head back inside of the boat so they can get their things ready.
Unknown Island
When they finally there way towards the island, everyone got dressed in their bathing suits and went to the beach.
"The brilliant sunshine! The beautiful blue sea reflecting the clear blue sky!" Takeru said with an excited grin and a blush. "Blessing this day with their bikinis! And the beautiful Goddesses. It's summer time!"
"But we mustn't forget...Although the girls are wearing some pretty sexy swimsuits." Kengo added with a grin and a blush. "Seeing Miss Nijou made this trip worth it."
Zane, Jin, and Azuki shook their heads with annoyance when they noticed that both of those two perverts were getting their nosebleed since they looked at the girls in their bikinis.
"Hey you two! I hope you guys aren't thinking that this is your own private playground!" Minori shouted, making those two snapped out of their perverted thoughts. "You're here to train! All of you are here to grow stronger as individuals, and build up team chemistry between each other, understand!"
Minori was wearing a thin-red bikini with her beach toys in her arms and a snorkel and goggles on her head.
'You're the one who thinks this is a playground!' Both Takeru and Kengo thought in unison.
"Now, now, don't be so uptight." Chacha said with a grin, wrapping her arm around Minori's shoulder. "It's okay to have some fun once in a while right?"
Minori have putting in some thought of what Chacha have told her.
'In your case, you have too much fun.' Himegami thought with her dull expression.
"You have too fun sometimes, Chacha." Zane said with a sweat drop. He wore his unbuttoned Hawaiian sky blue shirt with island design, blue trunks, and a pair of sandals.
"I'll say." Azuki agreed.
"Okay, let's have fun!" Minori agreed with a smirk and give her a thumb up.
"Adults always give in their desires." Kimi said with a smile with her arms behind her back.
"Nah, it's more likely Minori have give-in her desires." Jin shook his head. He wore his unbuttoned Hawaiian dark blue shirt with orchid flower design, black trunks, and a pair of sandals.
"That's not a good thing." Takeru said with dull expression, placing his hands on his hips.
"She's a bad example for us." Himegami told them, getting a nod from Zane which he agrees.
"I don't blame her, I mean this place is so beautiful that we have to enjoy it!" Inaho said with a glee while Chacha looked at Zane with hearts on her eyes.
Zane couldn't help but chuckle a bit which Inaho was right about the beach and the sea.
"Zane!" Chacha cheered as she hugged him close, causing her breasts smooshing his face while making Zane blushed with few shades of red.
"I guess you're right." Haruko said with a smile. "We have the beach to ourselves. It's like this whole place is reserved for..."
Suddenly, there was the sound of a motor making everyone turn to see Yuka driving a jet ski with Furan holding onto her tightly. When they make it to shore, Furan got dizzy as she got off, about to fall off, but Zane appeared next to her and held her up.
"You okay?" Zane asked.
"I'm never getting on the jet ski again." Furan said as she held her head, making Jin chuckle a bit.
"We didn't actually reserve this place. This island is known all over the country as a place where normal people are forbidden from coming to since the only ones to train here are people with abilities." Yuuka explains with her usual smile. "Using the island is free, but if you want to use this jet ski and the beach equipment, then you have to rent them."
"Then what about that charter ferry that was used to get here?" Haruko questioned while Takeru was coughing the water from his mouth.
"I used the Maken-Ki's Club expenses to pay for it." Minori answered as she held a popsicle in her mouth.
"Damn You! Why'd You Do That!?" Haruko yelled as her Furan stared at her with anger.
'She's a real bad example for the students.' Jin mentally thought with a sigh.
"Don't worry~!" Yuuka chimed as she clapped her hands. "I've already had the amount withdrawn from Minori's personal account."
"Damn You!" Minori screamed with anger as she chased after Yuuka which she's riding with the jet ski. "Tell Me How You Got Into My Account!"
Zane, Jin, and Haruko sighed with annoyance which they kinda figured that both Minori and Yuuka were bad examples to them.
"Something tells me Tomiko taught her sister well." Jin said with a small smile. "Like Tomiko, Yuuka's a sly fox."
"I guess you knew Tomiko as well?" Haruko asked with a smile.
"For as long as I remember, Tomiko and I have been on good terms since 10 years in Tenbi." Jin nods. "Plus, she can be a sly fox and a sadist if we're not careful. Trust me, some of the students in Tenbi have learned the hard way."
"For once, I have to agree with Jin." Takeru said with a chuckle. "You can never let you guard down with her."
"Tell me about it." Haruko agrees with a smile as she turned to him, but Takeru blushed as he stared at her.
'Even though I've seen Haru in a bikini several times already...she looks really...' Takeru thought since Haruko noticed him staring at her.
"Wha...Why're staring at me?" Haruko questioned curiously.
"Your nostrils are flaring up." Himegami said with half-lidded eyes and a smile.
Both Jin and Zane couldn't help but shook their heads with a smirk.
"It happens to guys all the time!" Takeru quickly said as he cover his nose.
"Don't get turned on." Himegami, Zane, and Jin told him in unison.
"What!? I wasn't looking at her like that!" Takeru exclaimed.
"And I'm Elvira." Zane said as he, Jin, and Himegami laughed.
"I don't mind if you want to look, but only for a bit." Haruko said as she blushed from her cheeks, leaving Jin and Zane surprised.
"Jin, would you mind putting oil on my back?" Aki asked, earning Jin and the other's attention.
"Um~...sure." Jin said with a blush as he made his way toward her. Aki quickly handed him the bottle and turned onto her front. Jin then opened the bottle, but Aki spoke.
"Um, Jin, you're going to need to untie my bra." Aki told her, making Jin's face red. Jin looked at the tied part of her swimming bra on her back. He then slowly reached his hands towards it and untie it. Zane was blushing, but he maintain his composure while the other girls blushed at the sight. Takeru just grinned, finding this sight hilarious. Jin then untied it and then poured the oil on his hands.
'Good thing my prosthetic arm is oil proof, it's been 10 years since I've been to this island to hone my abilities.' Jin thought as his heart beats. 'I need to calm down and do the deed so I can train Zane.'
Jin gently yet firmly placed his hands onto Aki's back, making her moan loudly, making him blush with a few shades of red while the other's jaws dropped. Jin was trying to focus while trying to maintain his composure as he starts massaging her. He was gentle, firm, respecting Aki's comfort zone while his hands still explores and his right hand was warm, but his metallic hand was also warm due to the sun that heats up. "Hey Jin, I think that's enough." Minori said with a dull glare when she came back.
'Oh, finally!' Jin thought with a sigh of relief as he pulled his hands away. Aki moaned with disappointment.
'Minori, you did that on purpose.' Aki thought with a glare.
"Alright! I'll deal with my bank accounts later, it's time for some fun!" Minori cheered when both Kimi and Chacha cheered along. However, Takeru pulled the strap of the goggle which she stopped.
"T-Takeru?" Minori asked with annoyance.
"Before you have fun, could we please do that thing I asked about first?" Takeru asked, making Minori realized what he means about the thing.
Jin walk towards Zane as he spoke to his pupil.
"Zane, it's time for you for your training." Jin told him with a smirk. "You need to hone your skills so you can keep it sharp and face Kamigari."
Zane nods with an understanding as he, Jin, Takeru, and Minori were heading towards the jungle which only both Jin and Minori knows where they were going and so they won't be distracted, leaving the rest of the members of Maken-Ki alone having fun at the beach which the girls were beginning to wonder where were Minori, Jin, Zane, and Takeru could have gone.
"Hey, I don't see Minori, Jin, Zane, and Takeru anywhere." Azuki said, noticed that they've gone somewhere.
"They went into the jungle together." Himegami told her. "Maybe they're on a date?"
With that, Azuki pound Himegami's head pretty hard with her fist, leaving a massive bump on her head while both Haruko and Inaho glared at her.
"You Better Not Be Messing With Us, Himegami!" Azuki shouts with anger and a tick mark on her head.
"I was only joking! Jeez, that hurt!" Himegami said, rubbing her head.
"You've got nothing to worry about. It's not a date." Aki told them. "They're doing something more passion than that."
Island, Jungle Area
When Jin, Minori, Zane, and Takeru have made their way towards the waterfall which the Principal complains since they started heading that direction. Both Zane and Takeru couldn't help but feel amazed with awe at the sight of the waterfall as Minori was standing at the top of the rock pillar with her foot and carrying her paper fan.
"This is the most sacred spot on Okino Island. The White Mirror Waterfall." Minori explains. "But for the both of you, this place is a Gateway to Hell."
"Exactly what I need." Takeri said with a smirk as he noticed something dark in that cave. "Behind those gates, is that a cave."
"That cave is off limits to ability users, Takeru, but for you, it can help you obtain the strength of your desire." Jin explains with his serious look. "You might eventually go in there, but you're not allowed to go in there if you got Minori's permission. However, if you manage to go in there alone, there's no guarantee that you'll make it back alive."
That got Takeru shocked when he heard of Jin's explanation. Minori cleared her throat to get his attention.
"Now, as for your request, you want to get stronger in less than a month. To be honest, I think that's impossible for you." Minori told him as she began to explain. "But unfortunately, there is one way that only you can use your 'Blood Pointer' ability. It allows you to suck in huge amounts of powerful element. Unlike a Maken, this power is something that you have to be born with. Like Himegami's ability to summon beings and Ouken Yamato's 'Soul Collector' ability. If you learn how to properly control it, it could become a source of unlimited power for you."
"Really?" Takeru questions.
"As for how to control your 'Blood Pointer.' I can't help you." Minori said, scratching the back of head and stick her tongue, leaving Takeru face first down to the ground while both Jin and Zane couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
"What the hell!? I was about to have some respect for you because you were so serious!" Takeru yelled at her with teary eyes.
"Calm down, Takeru. We can't rush things." Jin assured him. "Anyway, all we know was that 'Blood Pointer' is the type of ability that grows stronger according to your physical ability. It multiples your own power, so if you get stronger then it's stronger."
"That make sense." Takeru said with an understanding.
"But there's a catch." Jin explains. "Whenever you use your 'Blood Pointer' ability too much, then your body won't be able to last much longer and you'll die. Using the 'Blood Pointer' is like you're using a double-edged sword."
Takeru was shocked since Jin have told him about 'Blood Pointer' which he gave him a nod with an understanding.
"And so I went ahead and asked for some help for that." Minori said when Aki arrived with her white shirt and dark blue bloomers, carrying her duffel bag.
"Sorry I'm late." Aki apologized. "This place is so far from the beach. I was having so much fun I lost track of time."
Both Takeru and Zane turned their heads to Aki which Takeru was blushing from her appearance.
"Miss Nijou?" Takeru asked.
"What are you doing here?" Zane asked curiously.
"I'm here to support Takeru while his ability is still weak." Aki answered with a smile as she turned to Takeru. "I hope I can be helpful to you."
"Th-Thank you so..." Takeru was about to thank her as Aki put those weight-bands on his wrists. "Much? Huh? Umm, what are...these for?"
"If I remove the seal here then." Aki said as she remove the seal from those weight-bands, forcing Takeru's arms to go down when he felt like he was lifting a 200 pounds of weights as he tried to lift are arms and his face turned to red.
"What the hell is this!? It's heavy!" Takeru grunts.
"They're weight bands meant for strengthening a person's element." Minori answered with her menacing smile as she explains. "The stone that supplies element to the user, Magatama, is made of stone called Kudatama. Those bands you're wearing have 100 kilos packed into them."
"100 kilos!?" Takeru exclaimed while his face paled.
"A Kudatama will continue to suck in the element from it's surroundings until it turns into a Magatama." Minori told him. "You're going to train those seals off the whole time. You're first assignment is to run a lap around the whole island with those on."
"The Whole Island!?" Takeru said with shocked when Aki put those ankle-weights on his ankles.
"Oh? Is little Takeru already giving up?" Minori taunts with a smirk. "It's okay with me. You don't want to if you don't want to."
With that, Takeru raised his fist with amount of strength.
"No way. I still haven't done anything..." Takeru said. "Besides...I'm an idiot remember...I'd rather regret doing it than regret not doing it."
That got Zane, Jin, Aki, and Minori shocked of Takeru's resolve as the Principal smirk with her eyes closed.
"Ha! Where have I heard that line before?" Minori questioned herself as she stood up and waved her paper fan. "Now Shut Up And Get Moving!"
"Right!" Takeru said as he slowly began to run, but Aki quickly give the water bottle to him.
"Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" Aki asked. "Here's some water. Make sure you drink often."
"Thank you...UWAH!?" Takeru thanked her as he began to tumble down, but he accidentally pulled her bloomer down, exposed her butt, leaving Minori shocked while Jin, Zane, and Takeru blushed at that sight. With that, Aki screamed as she desperately fell to the ground with her knees and Takeru ran with his nosebleed.
"S-S-Sorry About That!" Takeru shouts. "I Swear It Was An Accident!"
That got Minori laughing when she saw Takeru made a dash for it.
"If he runs like that, he might finish his lap by this afternoon." Minori said with a smirk. "But what's more surprising is how you shouted like that was the first time you had a man see your naked body!"
"Shut Up!? I Couldn't Help It!" Aki shouts with embarrassment. "Minori, are you sure you should be making him do this?"
"I'm not making him do anything, he's the one who wanted to do it." Minori told her with a sigh. "He decided this on his own."
"She's right, it's Takeru's decision to get stronger and we're not stopping him." Zane added.
With that, Jin and Zane began to face each other.
"Zane, remember when I trained you of using your Elements and Maken?" Jin asked, getting a nod from his pupil. "What I didn't tell you was that you have Anti-Element within you."
That got Zane, Minori, and Aki shocked of what Jin have told him.
"You see, an Anti-Element is the exact opposite of Element." Jin explains. "It allows you to ignore your opponents defense and cancels out the Elements from them which you have the advantage against anyone who wields an Element. I have to train you in order for you to fight against Kamigari which you might have the chance to fight against Ouken."
"Wait, what you're telling us was that Zane might be able to pull if off by fighting against Ouken and get rid of Kamigari?" Minori questions, getting a nod from Jin.
"Because of his power has been heightened thanks to Nick's personal equipment and Zane's years amount of training and his battle experience, it'll be simple enough for him to fight against Kamigari." Jin said with serious expression as he turned to Zane. "Alright, time to sharpen your fighting style."
Both Zane and Jin raised their hands as they call out their Makens.
"Maken Gunblade: Manatrigger" Jin unleashed his gunblade that was similar to Zane's Maken, but different appearance.
"Maken Gunblade: Revolver" Zane unleashed his gunblade.
With that, they got into their fighting stance as they began to clash against each other as they parried and block each other. Unknown to them was that the little girl was watching them spar against each other, but what she watching mostly was Zane. She watched him blocked and parry his teacher's attack as she blushed and left.
Okino Island, Lodge
Few hours later, it was about nightfall as Minori carried Takeru on her back and rushed along with Aki, Zane, and Jin when they were heading towards the lodge.
"Damn! The sun's already set!" Minori exclaimed.
"Everyone's already gone to the lodge." Aki said.
The members of Maken-Ki noticed the five have arrived at the lodge, but the villagers who work at the lodge were grown wary of them.
"Could all of you please not stay here?" He asked with wary look. "We heard ahead of that time the Maken-Ki Club would be traveling here, but we're just regular people who don't want to be involved. Please understand."
He petted the little girl's head when she was hiding behind him as she spoke.
"I know I was put here to work, but I just want to live here in peace with my family." The little girl told them, much to their surprise. However, bot Zane and Jin know this feeling all too well when they looked at the man and his wife, it was fear. It was similar to the ones from those people in the different nations have them, but there was only fear of power, no hatred or consideration of using them for their own agenda.
The little girl notice that Zane was here as she quickly hides with a blush.
"I've Stood Here Listening To You Quietly Lon-"
Kengo was interrupted when Zane knife edge chopped him in the neck, causing him to knock out, silencing him, much to their surprise.
"Don't worry, Zane was just being polite for shutting Kengo up." Jin told them with a small smile.
"Anyway, I understand how feel, but it's not like we can go anywhere else right now." Minori said. "Could you at least provide us with another place to stay?"
"Very well...I'll prepare one for you." The man said with sigh as he go grab his flashlight and lead them to where they can get a place to stay.
When the man escort the members of Maken-Ki, they noticed a cabin here in the forest.
"This is it." The man told them, much to their dismay.
"A bungalow? How did it end up like this?" Takeru questioned with a blush.
"Not again." Himegami complained as she placed her fingers against her forehead.
Furan then started falling back with the back of her hand on her forehead as she was about to faint in the old fashion faint since they'll be forced to be bunked with the boys, but Zane manage to catch her, making her look up to stare into the eyes of the man who was being a gentleman.
"I'm sleeping with Zane!" Chacha declared as she embraced him, making Furan fall down towards the ground, making everyone turn to her in surprise and shock.
"Whoa, what?" Zane said with shock.
"Chacha, we can't have Zane sleep with us, that's indecent." Haruko exclaimed with a blush.
"Says a girl who sleeps with Takeru." Both Zane and Azuki said in unison, making Haruko blushed. Then suddenly a whistle made everyone turned to Minori and Jin as she spoke.
"No one is bunking with the opposite sex!" Minori said, making Chacha, Takeru, and Kengo whine. "I have a better way."
When Minori have made an arrangement since the girls will be inside of the bungalow while the boys sleeps outside with the hammocks, but Zane and Jin have came prepared since they made their own tents inside of the forest.
"Geeze! I Don't Believe This Crap!" Kengo shouts with complaints. "Why Do We Have To Sleep Outside In These Hammocks!?"
"They have their reasons to be careful around you." Takeru answered with a small smile.
"Yeah, Whatever! You and I both know that behind that window is a dazzling paradise of beautiful women!" Kengo exclaimed with excitement.
"Anyway, count me out if you're planning anything, I'm going to sleep." Takeru waved it off as he plans to sleep, leaving Kengo surprised.
"Wow, that's not like you at all." Kengo said as he noticed those wrist-bands on Takeru's wrists. "What's with the wrist-band?"
"It's my first step in trying to change myself." Takeru answered as he raised his hand when stared at it, causing Kengo to laugh.
"What the hell was that?" Kengo questioned with a smirk.
"Forget it, I'm going to sleep!" Takeru groaned as he goes sleep.
"By the way, I've noticed this for a while but why don't you use your glasses anymore?" Kengo asked when he noticed that Takeru isn't wearing glasses anymore.
"I kept breaking them so I stopped using them." Takeru answered with annoyance.
With that, both Takeru and Kengo went to sleep.
Meanwhile, both Zane and Jin are sleeping inside of their tents when he felt something heavy that laying on the top of him as she revealed herself and it was Chacha.

"You know Principal Minori is going to kill us." Zane said with serious expression.
