Arc 9 (Final) The Darkness nation's final curtain!

Chapter 1: Ida's stand against the Leaf! Three years from the battle with the RFS!

Time and time again the Darkness Country had been set under turmoil, from the moment it came to life by Kayoti Otsutsuki during the Second Great Ninja War to their defeat against the Hidden Leaf in the One Nation War. They had agreed to help Kayori in his bid against the leaf for the War of Darkness but had been requested by Kayori to stay back on the grounds that they had it covered, only for Kayori and the DSK to fall that day by Narashi Uzumaki and the Shinobi Alliance.

Since then the Darkness Country of which self labelled itself now as the Darkness Nation had begun to prepare themselves for a counter assault, the Five Great Nations had been terribly weakened by Takashi Uchiha and his gang of Realm of Forgotten Shadow rouge ninja and it was time for them to strike while the nations were getting back to their feet in a figurative sense.

Ida the leader of the Village in Darkness was making his way to a special room, and upon entering it was greeted by scientists who were awaiting his arrival. "Right this way Lord Ida." The head scientist explained guiding the male to another room where there looked to be humans inside test tubes hooked up to many wires and tubes. "Everything is as you required sir, that new asset we acquired a few years ago has been very handy in creating the ideal Super Shinobi that is no longer bound by human morals or human capabilities." The head scientist explained.

"I could have pinched myself when I saw this special elixir in action." Ida explained mostly to himself, grinning darkly. "After hearing that Kayori was killed in battle, I had lost all hope for our grand village to become a great nation or ally… so I began travelling to find myself… and coming across this elixir and seeing what it did to animals… I could have only begun to wonder if human DNA was influenced to it as well, seeing these results… I am almost frothing at the idea of taking on the Leaf Village and end their existence." Ida mused.

"Speaking on that… we've had reports that your brother Koukashi has been sighted making his way towards the Hidden Leaf for some reason. Should we get our forces to intercept him?" The head scientist asked. "No, let him do whatever the hell he wants to… my brother is too soft for his own good… thinks he could liberate this village and make it worth being an ally to the great nations… I no longer care about what this place becomes… all I care about is getting my revenge! First they disregard our request, then they destroy all my hard work and effort! Then they kill my beloved leader and god! I will put them in the ground for this!" Ida shouted, punching a nearby wall, destroying it on the spot.

It had been three years since the end of the battle between the Hidden Leaf and Takashi Uchiha, many casualties were made and much destruction was made. It had taken as long for the Hidden Sand, Stone, Cloud and Mist to get back to some form of structure and new Kage's had been appointed to replace the deceased ones, including the Hidden Leaf. Previously after Shirahoshi's passing the notion was to appoint Narashi Uzumaki as the 11th Hokage, but having felt like he hadn't truly earnt the mantle of Kage presently, the position of 11th Hokage was passed over to Marakai Hatake who somewhat unwillingly took the position.

The Hokage in question was busy going through paper work trying to see how the other villages were coming along since the attack, he was in a conference call with the new Kage's as well. "So all is going well in the rebuild of the villages?" Marakai asked the Kage's of whom nodded. "The Cloud Village is nearing it's completion, it was fortunate that most of the damage to the Village in the past was made up of just restoring the broken land and then rebuilding. I believe the Sand, Mist and Stone had to relocate?" The Raikage asked, them nodding also. "Yeah we didn't flock too far off however, the destruction is just a reminder of the turmoil our villages have endured to be where we are today." The Kazekage muttered.

"Your mother was a proud Kazekage Satomi… take pride in that." Marakai told the boy who smiled. "I know… it's just hard to think… Four of the Five Kage are former Genin of our villages… it's amazing to think we've been given this opportunity despite our lack of experience." Satomi explained. "Well given the short hand of Shinobi capable of handling the situation in your areas it was only fitting to take the best of the Genin and promote them, you can only go forward from here with your progression." Marakai told them.

"Anyway, I think that will cover the basis of things, glad to hear things are moving along swimmingly… we'll address all this again next month, good luck." Marakai added before dropping his end of the transmission. "It's amazing to think the Daimyo's of the Water, Stone, Lightning and Wind Nations would make such a rash call to promote four Genin to Kage rank." Said Marakai's aide who turned out to be none other than Uraika Uchiha.

"They were honest to god all that the villages had in terms of Shinobi capable of taking the mantle. Remember most Jounin and Chuunin from their villages were kept back in order to try and defend their homes from Takashi and their men." Marakai explained, turning to Uraika. "Speaking about development… what's the situation on your eyes?" Marakai asked. "I haven't been able to utilize the Rinnegan at all since that battle… so I think it's suffice to say they had their use and were then gone for good." Uraika explained, glancing at his hands. "I haven't had much to do lately as well, that might play a part in it." He added.

"I see, and what of you and Devika?" Marakai asked, placing his hands on his chin to gauge the boys reaction. "I wouldn't say we've made much ground honestly… we just don't see each other in that way." Uraika muttered, glancing away from his former teachers glance. "I wonder if you truly believe that Uraika…" Marakai thought to himself, opting not to voice his thoughts on that. "Lord Hokage, there's someone here that requests your audience, claims it to be very important." Someone told Marakai over the PA.

"Alright, send them in then." Marakai told the PA before looking to Uraika. "I don't really have anything else for you to do today Uraika, how bout you take the rest of the day off?" Marakai explained, the Uchiha nodding. "Understood Lord Hokage." Uraika responded. "Look, I may be the Hokage, but you can still address me unformally… to be honest I'm not a big fan of the formalities." Marakai explained.

"Understood Marakai." Uraika mused a little, as he walked out the door and headed on his way.

The Uchiha was making his way through the village looking around at the rebuilds still taking place, the Uchiha since the battle with Takashi had concluded had finally been able to find peace with himself and began to look at life more carefree. After three years his appearance had altered with slightly longer hair that covered his right eye for the most part, but he tended to have it parted back a bit to expose his eye.

The Uchiha continued to walk down the main district, coming across a certain ramen hotspot and turned his head. "I don't think I remember the last time I actually sat down for a bowl…. Why not, got nothing majorly better to do." Uraika thought to himself, as he walked in and took a seat at the bar looking around. "This place seems to be doing better each time I come in." Uraika muttered, receiving his bowl of ramen.

"You rarely come in as it is Uraika! So it's good to see you." The female owner explained, the Uchiha nodding before gesturing with the 'Itadakimasu' posture before snapping his chopsticks apart and began to slurp away at the ramen in front of him. "Whoa Is that Uraika!?" a voice shouted from behind the male, making him choke a little bit in surprise, before turning his head. "Yeah it is! Hi Uraika! Long time no see!" The female spoke out, the Uchiha smiling a tad.

The two in question were none other than Narashi Uzumaki and Shinrin, during the three year time gap, Narashi had finally popped the question to Shinrin of which she agreed to, and had been married now for over a year. Other than the growth spurt from Narashi, the boy had slightly shorter hair than normal, but kept to his tradtional line of an orange/black shirt, and orange three quarters. Shinrin had grown taller herself, but allowed her hair to grow down to her lower back, but more notably was the small bump in her stomach area.

"Are you expecting Shinrin?" Uraika asked with a raised brow, the female blushing before smiling. "I didn't think it was noticeable yet…" She muttered, before smiling bigger. "Yeah, I'm due in about 8 weeks!" she exclaimed, Narashi grinning wide. "Well, congratulations… I hope you can raise your son or daughter to not be an idiot like their father." Uraika mused, earning a glare from Narashi. "Oh come on!" Narashi shouted. "I'm kidding Narashi, chill out… anyway come and have a seat… I'm buying." Uraika told them both, earning a look of surprise on both their features.

The three hadn't seen each other in a good while, Narashi of course planning the wedding for the most part and beyond that had been spending time doing missions to earn a living to keep him, Shinrin and their soon to be child in good fortune, while Uraika had taken the spot as Marakai's aide which meant they very rarely ever saw one another, the same with Devika who had been keeping to herself still, most notably visiting a grave marked with her fathers name.

"Marakai-Sensei's aide? That's a bit of a different direction for you Uraika, why did you take that?" Shinrin asked, the Uchiha looking ahead. "I guess… with Takashi out of the picture… I no longer really had any direction to follow… I also… guess I owe it somewhat to the village for what the Uchiha did… and felt that aiding the Hokage to be would be a way to atone." Uraika explained, his eyes slightly filled with sorrow.

"No way Uraika! You don't have to do that for that reason! Takashi was wrong in what he did! The Village made a mistake in the past and they did pay for that themselves! You don't need to shoulder that blame at all!" Narashi exclaimed, before grinning wide. "All I'd hope is that you stay as my aide when I finally become Hokage!" Narashi exclaimed, earning surprise from Uraika and Shinrin. "Hmph, I'll have to think about it…" Uraika muttered, the other two chuckling before continuing their meal.

Taking a bit of time back to after Uraika left the mansion, Marakai requested the person in question being brought inside. The male walked in and bowed. "It is a privilege to be standing face to face with the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, and who better to be in that position than the famous Marakai Hatake of the Sharingan… saviour of the leaf against Takashi Uchiha and the Realm of Forgotten Shadows." The male told Marakai.

"I honestly think the appraisal should go to my two students… they were the ones who took Takashi down… I was just there providing backup…" Marakai replied, shaking his head to dismiss the conversation. "Anyway, what can I do you for….?" Marakai trailed it along to get a name. "Sorry… my name is Koukashi Matsukai… you may not know me… but you may know my brother… Ida Matsukai." Koukashi explained, Marakai's eyes narrowing. "The guy responsible for the One Nation War some time ago… I'm guessing you are…" Marakai began to say.

"Related… yes… I am his older brother and the person that should have been in position to take the leadership of the Darkness country." Koukashi explained, earning a raised brow from the Hokage. "Should have been…?" Marakai asked. "Our bloodline over the generations of time since the country was founded and governed by Kayori Otsutsuki has by tradition lead the village and had tried to continue Kayori's ambitions… our bloodline seemed to be gifted in producing a single child of male persuasion… but for some reason it differed after my father Zenji Matsukai was born." Koukashi explained.

"A complete generation of singular male births… can't say that's common nowadays… so you and Ida were the first line of brothers?" Marakai asked, Koukashi nodding. "It put my father in a very tough position as he ended up having to select an heir to his position and rule the country… unlike my brother who is consumed by hatred, malice and desire to carry out Kayori's ambitions to the end of his life… I choose a more loving life… a live dedicated to finding peace with the Five Great Nations and truly show them reason for our country to be a nation or at least an asset to one of them." Koukashi explained.

"Similar ambitions… but different measures to achieve them… I'm guessing that's why your father selected Ida?" Marakai asked, Koukashi shaking his head. "No, father selected me to be the heir." Koukashi explained, earning surprise from Marakai. "But Ida refused to accept it, and he began work on his Super Shinobi experiment and pretty much when the time came… he exiled me from the village, of which I really had no choice but to accept… Ida obtained some secret jutsu of sorts… one that amplified his power by ten fold… I couldn't resist him." Koukashi explained.

"So have you come to enlist our aide in getting the position back?" Marakai asked, the male nodding somewhat. "To an extent… I also came to inform you that Ida's gone back to what he was doing back when the 8th Hokage Konohamaru Sarutobi had requested an inspection… he plans to try and revive the One Nation War and get even against the Five Great Nations for interfering the first time and among all else… He wants revenge against the one who killed Kayori Otsutsuki… Narashi Uzumaki of the Nine-Tails." Koukashi explained, Marakai sighing.

"What with the other Four nations not really being up to battle strength yet… I would rather avoid getting them involved in these affairs… alright… I'll create a team of Shinobi that will escort you back to the Darkness Country and we'll do what we can… But before I do anything… how can I be sure that this isn't a trick of sorts and you are working with your brother to weaken our forces?" Marakai asked, Koukashi walking to his desk and placed a scroll on it.

The Hokage picked up the scroll and opened it, reading it and then looked rather surprised at the male. "Is this?" Marakai asked, Koukashi nodding. "A secret oath to our family bloodline… if at any given time we find that a family member or leader is abusing their role… this scroll can be activated and it will kill that person by a curse seal attached to our hearts." Koukashi explained. "I managed to steal this before I was exiled… I didn't want my brother using it on me, because I know deep down he would have… so I want you to hold onto it, if I do anything that poses a threat to your village and your people…. Well you know what you can do…" Koukashi explained.

Marakai sealed the scroll up and put it into his draw and nodded. "Alright… when do you want to head back?" Marakai asked. "I doubt Ida is that concerned about my presence being here… so I can take what I can… I could use a shower and a bite to eat… and a decent nights sleep in a nice warm bed if possible." Koukashi explained. "No problem… I will get my secretary to find you all of those, feel free to look about… and come find me here when you wish for me to send you back. I will organize a team while you are away." Marakai explained.

"Thank you Lord Hokage." Koukashi mentioned with a bow before heading out of the room. Marakai sighed, before swinging his chair around to look at the Hokage statues. "A possible second outbreak of the One Nation War huh…" Marakai thought to himself, placing his hands on his chin. "Arashi-Sensei… this time I will make sure that no one loses their parents or put them in a dangerous spot… I will do you proud." He muttered, lowering his head. "The same to you… Otokashi… Sari…"

Chapter 2 – The team decided! The trip towards the Darkness Nation!

A couple of days had passed since Koukashi had requested aide from the Hidden Leaf and the time came for him to come back and request his escort to be made. Marakai had made the arrangements for his team to come in and moments after that they had assembled.

It was Narashi Uzumaki, Uraika Uchiha, Devika Shukumei, Rock Li, Arisanra Senju and Axia Yamanaka being accompanied by Might Gaito. "You are the best team we have for this mission, so I am counting on you all to be able to handle this without too much dramas." Marakai explained, Narashi and the others nodding as the Hokage spoke. "I have Gaito tagging along as the senior figure in the matter, Narashi however you will be in charge of this mission… think of this as your stepping stone to finally becoming Hokage when I decide to call it time." Marakai explained, Narashi gulping but nodding none the less.

"On top that you are going to be a father, which I first must express my congratulations on… so be sure to give your child something to remember…" Marakai added with a smile. "You got it Sensei!" Narashi exclaimed saluting to the male. "Anyway, this here is Koukashi Matsukai… he is the leader of the Darkness Country… or at least he should be… A while ago the Darkness Country declared war against our village for acts on their own selfishness… this man's brother is the cause of that problem and we have reasons to believe that he's planning a second war against the leaf in revenge against us and more importantly against Narashi for his part in Kayori's end." Marakai explained.

"That war that killed your parents…?" Narashi asked, Marakai frowning before nodding. "The very one… but I vow on my life that I will not let that same fate befall you and your child Narashi, or anyones for that matter." Marakai explained. "Your mission today is to escort Koukashi back to the Darkness Country… and eliminate Ida and end his plans once and for all." Marakai explained.

"Is it really alright that we're being asked to kill this guys brother while he is here?" Devika asked rather astonished at Marakai's bluntness on the mission specs. "I appreciate your concern young lady… but I lost my real brother a long time ago… what is in his place is not fit to be considered family… and he indeed needs to be stopped, no matter the costs." Koukashi explained, Narashi punching his fist. "We'll get this done no matter what Ya know!" Narashi exclaimed. "Same bold manner of speaking… you haven't changed at all loser…" Uraika mused.

"Again with the loser stuff!? You're the one who hasn't changed!" Narashi snapped back. "Anyway… it's better if you guys make haste… we don't want to give Ida any chance to launch an attack here… good luck, and come back to me all in one piece." Marakai told them, the lot nodding before following the elder out of the room and to the village gates.

"So the Darkness country is a good three day venture… we will have to take a ferry to get across as well… I hope you aren't sea-sick." Koukashi explained, Gaito looking a little nervous, as did Li but neither spoke up. "Alright good… I have an inkling that Ida might be aware of my intentions by now and will no doubt launch an attack on us." Koukashi explained as he walked in the middle of the group for their protection.

"Before we do much more, It's not that I don't trust Sensei's judgement… but perhaps you could give us some insight on the battle front of the Darkness Country… so we know what to expect." Devika told the male who sighed and nodded. "Very well, I gained the trust of your Hokage so it's best I do the same for you guys as well… Ida himself has attained a jutsu that gains him immeasurable power… on top of that he's adapted to the 8-Inner gates and has found a way to utilize the 8th gate without death as it's consequence." Koukashi explained.

"Didn't you use the 8th gate in the battle of the Realm of Forgotten Shadows Li?" Arisanra asked, Li nodding. "I was given a special pill that allowed me to cheat the death aspect of it… but there was only one made so I can't risk it again…" Li explained. "On top of this… Ida and his scientists have found a special liquid that enhances shinobi's skills by a great deal, but it's experimental so the by-product of it creates a super powered shinobi with a shortened life span… no doubt he's finalized the final stages of the experiments so there's a good chance we'll end up engaging them as well." Koukashi explained.

"Makes me wonder why these Super Shinobi never appeared when Kayori attacked us long ago…" Uraika muttered, looking back at Devika before glancing away when she looked to him. "The project had gone sideways during that time, Kayori didn't want to risk it so told Ida to stay back and be ready for his call to launch them… sadly for Ida, Kayori met his end thanks to you Narashi Uzumaki." Koukashi explained, Narashi frowning a little. "At the cost of my Great-Grandfathers legacy… he had to be stopped…" Narashi explained.

"Oh that's right, Kayori was housed inside Naruto Uzumaki's body… I'm sure that was a tough thing to do, but I am sure Naruto would be glad to be liberated from darkness by your hands." Koukashi told the boy, who looked back and smiled meekly. He then stopped abruptly. "What's wrong?" Koukashi asked, Narashi's eyes already transformed into Sage Modes. "We're not alone anymore… COME OUT!" Narashi shouted, creating a Rasen-Shuriken almost instantly and threw it in the general vercinity of his concerns.

The Rasen-Shuriken hit it's mark and exploded violently, a few lifeforms emerging from the bushes of the exploding area and landed before the group. "The Beauty and the Beasts…!" Koukashi shouted, Narashi glancing back. "You know them?" Narashi asked, Koukashi nodding. "These were one of the few experiments that passed the grade fluently… these are kunoichi who have been traumatized in battle by certain aspects and their powers have been enhanced greatly by them!" Koukashi explained. "Four of them…" Uraika muttered, activating his Sharingan. "Raging Raven… Crying Wolf, Laughing Octopus… and Screaming Mantis… I never thought my brother would launch them off first." Koukashi muttered.

"You lot aren't going anywhere! You're going to howl in anger, scream in rage! ROAR IN DESPAIR!" Raging Raven shouted, her voice being mutilated with the machine contraption she was in. "Then you will cry… cry until your eyes run red!" Crying Wolf shouted, howling out like a wolf in her wolf like exoskeleton. "How bout you all laugh! Laugh with me! Split your sides in laughter!" Laughing Octopus exclaimed, laughing out loud afterwards.

Screaming Mantis didn't say a word as she hovered into the air and slipped away from the group bowing to them as she did. "She's retreating…?" Devika asked, readying her two blades. "Screaming Mantis is their puppet master she won't get involved unless it really calls for it… but these three alone won't be an easy feat even for you lot." Koukashi explained. "I would advise attacking them in groups of two of three so that you have the e-!"

"Li, Arisanra, Axia! You three watch the old man!" Narashi shouted, the old man gasping in shock. Uraika, Devika and the boy walking ahead of the group, punching his fist and transformed into his chakra mode and grinned. "One apiece yeah?" Narashi mused, Uraika and Devika grinning. "Are you three out of your mind!?" Koukashi shouted in surprise, Li stepping ahead of the male. "Do not worry about them, they may look like your average teens, but they are the Leaf's strongest forces… Narashi Uzumaki the destined Hokage, Uraika Uchiha the lightning god, and Devika Shukumei the Goddess of speed." Li told the male.

"The laughing one is mine." Uraika mused, creating a series of seals, before arching back and released a huge force of wind that shot towards the three female opponents and shot them off in different directions. "The angry one is mine then." Devika told the group as she activated her level three Obliviac and flashed off. "Which gives me the mopey one ya know!" Narashi exclaimed, flashing off himself.

Chapter 3: Uraika v Laughing Octopus – Re-written despair v distraught humour.

Laughing Octopus managed to compose herself, using her tentacles to grab a nearby tree and swung herself back to her feet, watching Uraika land before her, a confident grin on his face with his Sharingan activated. "Your eyes speak of despair and anger." LO mused, chuckling afterwards. "How bout you just laugh!? Laugh until you can't laugh anymore!" She howled laughing some more. "I'll laugh when I put you into the ground." Uraika mused, forming handseals. Before he could finish them though the female lurched back and then from her masked face a jet bleak stream of what looked to be ink shot out catching the Uchiha in the eyes making him step back and snarl.

"Without your eyes you are a sitting duck!" LO shouted, as she launched herself, laughing all the while. The Uchiha gritted his teeth unsheathing his fathers Kusanagi and deflected her first attack, looking around as though his eyes were working just fine. "Trying to detect my chakra isn't going to work young Uchiha." LO laughed, as she sauntered behind the male and kicked him hard in the back, sending him skidding forward. The Uchiha straightened himself out and spun around finishing his handseals.

"Fire Style – Fireball Jutsu!" he shouted, swinging around and launched a fireball in her general direction. The female laughed as her tentacles rose up grabbing a nearby tree branch of which she used to propel herself above the fireball. "You missed!" The female laughed as she threw several senbon towards her foe. Uraika grunted as he backflipped from each one, being able to hear the movements of them piercing the sky, but was then kicked across the ground again by the female.

The Uchiha threw himself back to his feet, wiping at his eyes. "It won't come off…" He snarled, the female lunging down at the ground before rushing towards Uraika with a dagger in hand. "It's over then Uchiha!" LO shouted, thrusting her dagger towards the male, only for the dagger to split in two as it came into contact with a green/grey skeletal rib cage. The Uchiha gritted his teeth, blood running down his eyes of which mixed with the ink as the skeletal formation transformed into his Susano'o form, the female launched back.

"So he has the Mangekyou then… this is the glorious Susano'o I have heard so much about." LO thought to herself, chuckling as she landed on the ground. "Burn out!"Uraika shouted, the Susano'o taking it's electrified Samurai form before creating a bow of which generated lightning chakra that which he took aim and fired at her with.

The female laughed as she wrapped herself with her tentacles, the chakra arrow hitting her frame and sending her up in a ball of chakra and flames. The Uchiha gasped for air slightly, lightly opening his eyes being able to see the smoke and debris crashing around him. "Good riddance…" Uraika snarled, releasing his Susano'o and proceeded to deactivate his Mangekyou.

"Ink style! Ink paralysis!" LO shouted from the smoke, earning shock from Uraika as ink bullets shot out from the smoke towards the Uchiha who shielded himself from them. "I've had about enough." Uraika grunted, proceeding to move but suddenly found himself frozen in place. "What the hell is this!?" Uraika shouted, forcing his body to move to no avail. "It's no use…" LO chuckled, emerging from the smoke her suit destroyed leaving just her mask on that was starting to chip and break away from her face.

"My Ink paralysis is like that of your Nara Clan's shadow paralysis, apart from the fact I don't need to use my chakra to implement it… I can do whatever I like while you can't move…" The female laughed more as her mask keep breaking away. The female drew out another dagged and tapped it against her palm as she strode her way towards the bound Uchiha.

"Oh and I wouldn't try anything with your Mangekyou either… this jutsu seals all ninjutsu and visual prowess' as well." LO added again, laughing some more as the mask broke more away now being half broken. "Now laugh with me… laugh until your lungs ache in agony!" she shouted, about ready to stab the Uchiha who braced for impact.

But then her mask completely broke away and the female gasped, grabbing her head and started to back away screaming. The Uchiha blinked a little then glanced at the female, feeling the ink melt off his body and begin to provide movement back to his limbs and eyes. "No… this isn't me…. I can't laugh… I don't want to laugh anymore…" the female gasped, still laughing a little after her sentences, coughing up what looked to be ink as she stepped further back.

"It's not funny… it was… never funny… I'm not laughing…" The female scowled, laughing still afterwards. "I'M SCARED!" she screamed out, her eyes having changed from their blue to blood red. "Does that suit of hers manipulate her mind and keep her emotions in check despite her emotion in battle…?" Uraika thought to himself, forming handseals. "Only one way to find out I guess." The Uchiha rushed towards the female, grabbing onto her and used his Sharingan to probe into her mind at that moment of time.

The Uchiha composed himself and began to look around in the females thoughts. It seemed to be a calm and happy life for the girl, living in a small remote seaside countryside outside the Darkness Country walls. It seemed all happy and peaceful, before a certain day broke out and a warring country attacked and kidnapped many, including her and her family. The Uchiha walked through the memories and saw her kidnappers forcing people to kill their own friends and family. Her in particular was a brutal case, as she was to kill her mother and father right there and then, and she did so while being forced to laugh as she did so.

"What a monsterous group of people…" Uraika muttered, glaring at the group wishing he could intervene but knew it was nothing more than memories. The girl became twisted and deranged from it, laughing in insanity as she would later turn her attention to her would be kidnappers and slaughtered them as well, laughing all the while. He then noticed the blood around him turning black as ink. What surprised him more was blood coming from his gut in the same manner.

The Uchiha snapped back to reality when he realized that he had been stabbed in the gut by the female, who was screaming and laughing at the same time. "G-GET OUT… G-GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" She screamed at him, kicking him back. She sobbed loudly, as she hunched down and began to writhe holding her head. "I-I DON'T WANT TO REMEMEBER THAT…. GET OUT!" she screamed. "A beautiful young girl… made into a beast… a fitting name for their group then…" Uraika thought to himself, his lightning acting on his wound searing it shut as he looked to the writhing female.

"It's understandable to feel hurt…. Ashamed… and angry about what happened to you…" Uraika told the female, who glared at the male. "W-What would you know Uchiha…!? What would you know about anything!?" She shouted, laughing still afterwards. "I know what it's like to have your loved ones killed… or loved ones being killed right in front of you… powerless to stop it from happening…" Uraika explained, glancing at the floor remembering what Satoshi had done. "To this day… I am the last remaining Uchiha on this planet… my mother… my aunties and uncles… my father, brother and even my sister are dead." Uraika explained, glancing to her.

"You and I…. were both alone as young children, the stench of blood filling our nostrils and the pain of loss etched into our very DNA… but… I made friends, formed bonds… and…" he trailed off as he thought about Devika but then glanced to her. "You had no one… you had to kill all those you loved and cared about… and it messed you up…had I not those bonds of my own… you and I… may have ended up on the same path." Uraika explained, the female wiping her eyes before glancing at the Uchiha, seeing tears of his own down his face.

"Your eyes…. They speak truth…" she muttered, a light chuckle emitting from her vocals as she slowly brought herself to her feet, walking over to his blade and picked it up, looking at it before throwing it to him. The Uchiha caught it and looked at her with confusion. "Kill me…. End my suffering… I no longer… wish to laugh…." She muttered, a minor chuckle escaping her lips as she smiled. "Free me…." She trailed off. "Uraika Uchiha…" Uraika responded, readying his blade. "I am…. Laughing Octopus…. No…. I don't want to laugh anymore… my name is… Kia Toyoma." She muttered.

The Uchiha glanced at his blade then at her as he winced a little and drove the blade straight into her chest, splitting her heart in half. "Thank….. you….." she muttered, tears running down her face, tears made of ink as she slowly dropped to her knees and onto her stomach, her suit turning suddenly to stone as her frame curled into a ball and her final breath was made.

Uraika glanced at the female, frowning sadly at her, before turning around and made her way towards the group once again. "Rest in peace… no longer to laugh your pain away… Kia…" he muttered

Chapter 4 – Devika v Raging Raven – To ones anger and despair!

Raging Raven had caught her flight using her jet propulsion unit to keep her floating in the air as the third staged Devika flashed underneath her with a calm look on her face. "You look awfully calm for someone about to die! How bout you show me some anger! Howl! Roar! Scream! Let your rage flow freely!" RR shouted, raising her fist up in a dominating manner.

Devika said nothing as she took her blade of purity and blade of shadows and slashed the air with both creating a black and white stream of chakra that shot towards the flying female. "RAGE!" RR shouted, her jet propulsion system going into overdrive as she flew over the attack, and then zoomed down towards Devika, shooting past her deliberately, the forces of her movement sending shockwaves crashing past Devika who found it hard to hold firm to normally so had to guard to hold her ground.

This was met with her skin starting to split open, the female noting this and flashed away from the spot, quickly wrapping her torn ups up and then flashed behind RR with both blades drawn proceeding to slash her with them. RR howled in anger, as she used her jets again to shoot up into the sky, this time burning hot air shot towards Devika who had to flash back, but not before feeling the burning sensations on her legs.

"She's not as quick as me, but her jet trick is getting the better of me each time. I have to isolate her movements." Devika thought to herself, as she formed a series of handseals, then arched back. "Fire Style! Great Fire Dragon Jutsu!" She shouted, firing five dragons of fire of which soured past the flying female of RR and into the sky. "Poor aim! That one will cost you!" RR shouted, stopping when she felt rain began to fall. "Wait a second, it was clear skies before! What the hell is this!?" RR shouted angrily. "I'll have to thank Uraika for this one." Devika muttered, forming chakra into her palm in the lightning nature of which she shot into the sky, creating a thunder like dragon of which soared above the female. "Kirin…" Devika muttered, lowering her hand, the dragon surging back into the sky before crashing down upon RR as a huge bolt of lightning.

RR screamed out in agony as her propulsion system was destroyed by the lightning and the female hit the floor with an explosion in follow as she did. Devika watched the female rise from the ground, gasping for air. "Cheeky little devil aren't you… I can see it in your eyes." RR scowled as she made her way slowly towards the female. "I can see the rage festering inside them! You hold a great anger inside you waiting to be released! LET IT OUT, ROAR, SCREAM, SHOW ME YOUR RAGE!" RR shouted, taking out a chakra cannon of sorts, and released a huge burst of chakra straight towards the unsuspecting female.

Devika was unable to get away in time as the chakra blast consumed her a huge explosion following afterwards. "This weapon was special made it reacts to my anger and hatred! So you will never be able to stop me from using it!" RR mused, the smoke clearing showing Devika had guarded from the attack, but straight after her arms dropped at her sides, blood oozing from the fresh burns and gashes across them. "Without your arms you won't be able to cast any of those pesky jutsu you have!" RR mused, taking out one of her own daggers and rushed towards Devika.

The female despite being pain kept her composure as she evaded every attack thrown at her by RR. "All you can do is dodge me! But even then that won't save you!" RR shouted in amusement, as she kept her attacks up. Devika grunted as she took an evasive action, then spun herself around in a roundhouse motion. "Night of a thousand sparks, Sweeping leg strike!" Devika shouted, releasing a stream of chakra out from her leg of which made contact with the female and sent her skidding back.

"So you do have some tricks with your legs… should have aimed there first… oh well…" RR spoke out, taking the chakra cannon out again and fired almost instantly towards the female. Devika remained composed as sparks of electricity surged around her arms suddenly searing the wounds shut at that point and rejuvenated them. The female quickly moved her hands out and summoned her two blades of which she held over her head. "Spring time of a thousand radiance, Chakra stream blast!" Devika shouted, thrusting the blade down and released her own blast of chakra of which collided with RR's chakra blast and held a power struggle of energy.

Devika gritted her teeth for a moment as she gripped her two blades before shooting into her own attack taking the injuries from hers and RR's attack as she phased through catching the other off guard. The female slashed across RR's frame and with it phased behind her. "Why….. my rage…." RR scowled, her tough armour frame began to split apart, as well as her mask. Devika's body began to regenerate with Uraika's electricity technique, glancing back at the other female whose mask finally split away from her face, the female grabbing her head and screaming out in agony.

"What the…?" Devika asked in confusion to the situation as the other female seemed to writhe in massive pain. "No….! I'm not angry…. I don't want to be angry… I can't be…. I just can't be…. Because I AM TOO SCARED TO DIE!" RR shouted, Devika looking quite surprised by the females outburst. Much like Uraika the female wanted to know more about what drove this girl down the path she was taking. She walked over to the female, formed a handseal and entered the girls mind.

Much like LO, RR was in a small village on the outskirts of the Darkness Country and in much similar circumstances the girl had been captured among other children and threw into cells where they were beaten and abused by their captors. The children captured clung onto whatever little hope they had inside their captivity surviving on eating whatever scraps they could find or whatever water they could scavage, for this being labelled as shit eating ravens.

Devika watched in horror as the kids would slowly die off and their corpses would become food to ravens of which picked them apart one by one, but RR who clung on for dear life instead of being eaten by the Ravens was cut free from them, and in her fits of rage and despair towards her captors hunted them down and slaughtered them, cawing like a raven as she did.

"To create a murderous intent… picking off your opponents like ravens when they pick the flesh of human corpses… a horrible life to live… I wouldn't begin to understand your feelings…" Devika told the female backing away, as the other got to their feet, sobbing. "I lost everything! I lost the will to do anything! I was lost in my rage and anger! My hatred and my despair! But I was only fearing my life because I was going to die! But…" RR turned to face Devika and smiled a little, tears running down her face.

"Today… you… like the ravens… have cut my bonds free… and now… you will finish me… and let me go in peace…" RR muttered, Devika looking at the female with her normal blank stare, but then frowned. "I'm to end another persons life then…. Am I…?" Devika asked, clutching her blades and walked towards RR. "Fine…. But before I do… who do I have the honour of releasing?" Devika asked, the female sighing. "Mikasa…. Mikasa Toureri." The female explained.

"And I… am Devika Shukumei…" Devika replied before plunging her blade into Mikasa's heart and finished her off much like Uraika had with Kia. "Thank…. You…." She muttered, falling to the ground and much like Kia curled up into a ball, her suit turning to stone and her final breaths were made.

"Beauty and the Beast…. The darkness country are truly monsters themselves…." Devika sighed, walking off to rejoin the group.

Chapter 5 – Narashi v Crying Wolf – Those who endured lonesome lives!

Narashi landed in the area that he thought Crying Wolf would be, glancing around casually. "Kurama any sign of her?" Narashi asked. "No… her chakra signature is masked… she could be anywhere…" Kurama muttered, Narashi gasping suddenly. "Is this the Hidden Mist Jutsu?" Narashi asked, noticing a thick fog covering their frame. "Narashi do you remember much about that machine that woman was in?" Kurama asked, Narashi blinking.

"You mean that oversized looking cannon of sorts on her back?" Narashi asked. "I think that's a type of long ranged chakra weapon… that means she's going to attack from a distance. Watch yourself." Kurama explained, Narashi nodding, closing his eyes and on top of his chakra mode, Sage mode was triggered as well.

In the distance, using heat signature technology, CW was able to pinpoint Narashi's location and took aim with the oversized chakra sniper weapon. "Now cry…. Cry your heart out…!" CW shouted, howling loudly like a wolf, earning Narashi's attention who was only able to just get out of the way as a chakra bullet shot past his face into a nearby tree boring a massive hole into it. "That was too close!" Narashi gasped, before gasping again as he evaded another one coming at him, then another, then one more that actually made him move into the path of the last one of which ripped through his shoulder.

"Dammit that's smarts!" Narashi shouted, clutching his shoulder dropping to a knee. "Cry! Cry out in pain and sorrow!" CW shouted, before entering her machine and began to run around the battleground on all fours. Kurama's chakra had began to heal Narashi at this point, as the Fox was trying to find a battle strategy capable of getting around this issue. "Narashi see if you can't gauge where the chakra bullets are coming from and launch a Rasen-Shuriken or Raiten-Rasengan towards that location." Kurama explained.

"Good thinking…" Narashi replied, as he glanced around looking for the chakra blast, of which after a few minutes came about. Narashi evaded the attack quickly drawing on a Rasen-Shuriken of which he hurled towards the area of which it came from, sending the area ablaze with chakra and fire. Narashi grinned when he heard the female howling, but then freaked when he saw the mechanical beast coming straight at him.

Narashi had no time to react as the female smashed him into the ground and ran back into the depths of the forest. "Ow… that thing is tougher than anything I've dealt with!" Narashi groaned, rubbing his face. "Narashi the only way we're going to really be able to fight this women on an even playing field is if we get rid of this fog… so let's conjure up some wind style!" Kurama shouted, Narashi grinning and forming some handseals.

"And I've got just the one!" Narashi shouted finishing his hand signs. "Wind Style Great rotation!" The boy began to spin around with enough force that it began to draw chakra out of his body in a manner similar to a certain Hyuuga group, the chakra rotation began to catch wind and the wind would begin to split the mist away from them and within time the mist was gone and the form of CW was exposed as well.

"Pesky little brat…!" CW snarled taking aim at the boy and fired a chakra shot, Narashi evading while generating lightning based spiral chakra into his palm. "Lightning Style – Raiten-Rasengan!" Narashi shouted, throwing the spiralling ball of electricity towards the female who was taking pot shots at the boys frame, letting the attack hit her mechanical frame. All looked fine as she kept at her shooting making Narashi dive around to evade it. "Dammit that was a direct hit! Nothing changed!" Narashi shouted. "Wait Narashi, look." Kurama explained pointing ahead. "There's a crack on her armour… that wasn't there till after your Raiten-Rasengan… which means…" Kurama began to explain.

"That her suit isn't good against Lightning style… that works… now I just need to get close." Narashi exclaimed, forming a handseal. "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Narashi shouted, creating over twenty clones, his chakra mode and Sage mode ending as well. "I thought as much…" Kurama muttered, Narashi looking at his comrade in surprise. "Her chakra bullets syphoned our chakra after contact… so you will need to use what you have." Kurama explained, Narashi sighing before raising his hand up and created a spiralling ball of chakra of which then soon took on the properties of lightning.

"Lightning Style – Raiten Rasengan!" Narashi shouted, as his clones rushed towards the female. "Join me! Cry with me, run your sorrow deep so you bleed from your heart!" CW shouted, firing shots towards the clones of which destroyed them one by one. The real Narashi leapt into the air and drew himself down. "Eat this!" Narashi shouted, lurching down towards the female's mechanical form and slammed it against her frame.

"Foolish boy! Now cry for me!" CW shouted aiming her weapon at Narashi to fire at point blank range, when suddenly the barrel shattered and broke apart as did the entirety of her exoskeleton. "W-What…!?" The female gasp, being broken out of her confines and struck by the Raiten-Rasengan of which hurled her across the forest.

"Good work Narashi, now she can't use those chakra bullets on us anymore." Kurama shouted, Narashi grinning at the fox before turning his attention to the smouldering wreckage of the attack. He could hear crying, but then gasped out a little when it sounded like genuine crying. CW was hunched on the ground hands over her head crying loudly, the attack had knocked her mask off and exposed all her hurt and feelings.

"P-Please m-make it stop! I don't…. want to remember…! Makoto….. Makoto….!" She sobbed, Narashi looking rather surprised at this. "Kurama… I want to …." Narashi muttered, Kurama nodding. "Do it…" Kurama replied, the Uzumaki forming handseals before walking over and crouched down and placed his hand on the female, entering her thoughts and mind.

Narashi looked around seeing a snowy like village that looked to be outside the Darkness country walls during the winter time. The girl was happy and smiling with her family and her newborn baby brother of which he must have assumed was this 'Makoto' she was muttering about. One day the village came under attack and her parents were killed in the making of it. The attackers had been scouring the house for some time looking for survivors, CW was in a dark room with her baby brother trying not to be noticed.

But her baby brother started to cry, of which she knew would have alerted the attackers to her location. Narashi watched silently, as the female put her hand over the babies mouth to try and keep him quiet until the coast was clear. Some time passed on that and the attackers left the house and the village. The girl was relieved to be safe but when she checked on her baby brother who had stopped crying, she and Narashi were devastated to see that her baby brother had stopped breathing.

She had suffocated him to death in the wake of things.

At that point Narashi was knocked away from CW. "YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEE ANY OF THAT YOU DON'T KNOW THE SADNESS AND HARDSHIP IT IS TO LOSE ANYTHING AS A CHILD!" CW howled at the boy, sobbing again loudly as she broke down. "No… I don't…" Narashi muttered, glancing at the ground. "I like you had lost as a kid… but my parents died when I was born… I didn't have a brother like you… and I know killing him was hard… but… it was an accident." Narashi told the female who gasped at the boy.

"You didn't do it on purpose… you were young… you were fearing yours and your brothers life… you wanted to keep you both alive… it just meant taking your brothers life… I can understand how this has messed you up greatly…come back to the village with us." Narashi told the female, who gasped again. "We can get the help you need to get you back on the right track… it's okay to cry, it's okay to be sad… but it's not okay to dwell on it… because Makoto would rather see you be strong and dependant…" Narashi explained.

CW stared at the boy and could only break down. "T-Thank you…" She sobbed. "It's Narashi Uzumaki…" Narashi told the female, who got to her feet. "Tisha Mari…" the women muttered. "Alright, let's get you to the village then." Narashi told her, turning around. The female said nothing as she clutched her dagger and rushed at Narashi, Kurama picked up on this and quickly took control of Narashi's body enough for the boy to spin around, counter her attack, take the dagger and drive it into her gut.

Narashi blinked back to reality and gasped seeing what happened. "W-Why!?" Narashi asked the girl in horror, the female having a smile on her face. "Because… I want to cry…. And be sad…. And be happy…. With Makoto…. Thank you…. Narashi…." Tisha muttered, before her frame much like the other two assumed the curled position, her suit turning to stone. "A true case of beauty and the beast…. Those bastards are gonna pay for all of this!" Narashi growled, clenching his fists. He gasped when a white wolf walked over towards the deceased female sniffing her.

The male noticed a kanji on the wolfs forehead and gasp. "Makoto…" he muttered, the wolf howling before putting the female onto its back and sauntered off. Narashi pondered on that for a moment, but elected to let it go and head back to the others.

Chapter 6 – The journey to the Darkness Nation! Uraika finally confesses!?

Narashi, Uraika and Devika returned to see the group of protectors having their own little conflict of their own, or at least they had been on the verge of wrapping things up, tossing the bodies aside. "Oh! You are back! So I take those three are?" Li asked, stopping when he noted their rather scorned looks on their faces. "You saw their beasts… didn't you?" Koukashi asked, Narashi clenching his fists. "Just what kind of village is yours!?" Narashi asked angrily. "Not one that I invisioned a long time ago when Father was in charge." Koukashi explained, sighing as he did.

"To twist female minds like that is one thing! But to then exploit that weakness in their hearts and turn them into killing machines! That's twisted beyond all belief!" Narashi shouted again. "Calm down Narashi, getting angry at him isn't the right thing to do." Uraika muttered, sighing. "It's that bastard brother of his that needs to pay for what he's done." The Uchiha added. "Couldn't have said that better myself Uraika… please we have a little bit to cover before we get to the ferry." Koukashi explained heading the way towards the terminals.

"So… you're reporting back to me with failure?" Ida asked Screaming Mantis who bowed before the male. "As expected, your brother has enlisted the Team 7 of the Leaf village with the three strongest shinobi there." SM explained. "Figured as much… oh well they won't go too much farther beyond the ferry, that much I can promise." Ida mused, grinning darkly as he finished his sentence.

Time had passed and the group had finally made it to the ferry terminal and had booked their pass to the darkness country and from there the long day bound journey across the ocean began. It wasn't long before Li and Gaito showed their true colours and had hurled themselves of the side of the boat and began to excrete their insides. "So much for having steady sea legs." Koukashi sighed, as he walked over the nearest area he could and sat down watching the ocean.

Narashi was eating away at some of his instant ramen while Uraika had managed to track Devika down and decided to have a one on one with her. "So we should be reaching the darkness country in a day or so… we best be prepared for an ambush… I am sure Ida and his forces will be awaiting us." Devika told the Uchiha who seemed lost in her wake, this was fixed when Devika addressed him.

"Is something the matter?" She asked him, earning a glance away. "You've been very strange since we defeated those three girls… and in fact even beyond that…" Devika told the Uchiha, who bit his lip lightly in thought to everything going around him mentally. "Uraika, I thought you were supposed to be my guardian devil… so it's best if my devil doesn't keep things from me." Devika muttered, Uraika closing his eyes trying to withstand her mind games of which she knew she was good at with him.

"Just say it please." She muttered once more. The Uchiha couldn't hide it any longer, he sighed deeply before glancing to her. "Devika… a long time now… a very long time… I've… begun to see you more… as your teammate…comrade and friend…. It's hard for me to put to words…" Uraika muttered, Devika's eyes widening a little. "I…. guess… I'm trying to confess that I maybe…. Like you more than that…. No… far more than that… but…" Uraika sighed again, his resolve returning for a moment.

"But right now we are facing a dangerous battle… I can't put myself on the line and let my emotions cloud my judgement… so… I'm trying to say that… when this is over… just maybe… I'd…. take you out somewhere… but only then." Uraika explained, Devika blushing a tad but wasn't able to say anything as the Uchiha got to his feet and walked away to collect his thoughts. "I'd….. like that…. Uraika…" Devika muttered to herself, a small smile etched on her face as she looked at the ground, then went over to Narashi who began choking on his ramen.

"Narashi, do you mind if I ask you something?" Devika asked, the Uzumaki swallowing his noodles coughing a bit before glancing to her. "Yeah what is it?" Narashi asked, taking a sip of his broth. "What is love…" She muttered, Narashi splurting the broth out of his mouth in shock. "W-Where did this come from!?" Narashi exclaimed in horror. "I'd… rather not get into the specifics… but I want to know… what does one do… or how does one know when love is in the works?" Devika asked. "Geeze… I guess I could answer that." Narashi explained, scratching his chin in thought before replying.

"It's basically when you feel a strong connection with someone, far beyond that of your friend, comrade or associate…. A connection that makes you want to protect that person with your life and power." Narashi explained. "I mean… if you didn't know already… I'm… having a child soon." Narashi explained, Devika blinking in surprise. "I see… congratulations…do you have a name?" Devika asked. "Not so much if it's a girl, but if it's a boy… Kouji, Kouji Uzumaki." Narashi explained. "Why Kouji?" Devika asked. "It's Shinrin's fathers name, and it's a fitting name for a man who died protecting this village." Narashi explaine, Devika nodding.

"A fine name indeed… I'll leave you be." Devika told the male, who nodded watching her walk off then noted Uraika off to the other side. Thinking about it, he finished his ramen before making his way over to his friend. "Something on your mind?" Narashi asked, the Uchiha snapping out of his daze before glancing to the Uzumaki. "Nothing that really needs to be troubled with." Uraika explained, looking ahead again. "This could be a battle that determines the fate of the world of shinobi." Uraika explained, changing the subject.

"Yeah no kidding… we've only just recovered from Takashi's invasion and already we're under threat… it's hard to think that not that long ago… shinobi kind faced extinction." Narashi responded, glancing back at his friend and grinned. "But hey! With us on the case there is nothing we can't stop!" Narashi exclaimed. "I wonder how you can remain so optimistic at times… it's a good quality to have…" Uraika sighed, his Sharingan activating.

"What's wrong?" Narashi asked raising a brow. "An ambush… they're going to firebomb this boat…" Uraika snarled, glaring ahead. "Get the others quickly!" Uraika shouted. Narashi reacted quickly and rushed to grab the others. "What do you mean firebomb the boat?" Koukashi asked in surprise, looking ahead the day having passed into night-time. "I can't see anything but the horizon." He added. "There's no time to explain!" Uraika shouted, activating his Mangekyou and created his Susano'o of which grabbed all the participants of the mission and Koukashi leaping off the boat.

Merely seconds later the boat was struck down by a barrage of flaming arrows and exploded on the spot. "Holy cow! That was too close for comfort!" Narashi exclaimed, Uraika nodding in response. "Be ready… we swim from here." Uraika explained, deactivating his eyes allowing everyone to fall into the water and began to swim towards the shore.

"Sir, the ship is down… we'll send a team out to investigate for survivors and kill them." A soldier told Ida who watched the burning boat from the distance of his manor. "Excellent… now everything will move more smoothly." Ida mused, laughing afterwards in a maniacal manner.

Chapter 7 – The attack on the Hidden Darkness – The Death of Uraika!?

About ten minutes after the attack on the ferry heading to the Darkness country, the gang had managed to swim ashore, looking over at the burning boat. "It won't take them long to realize that we weren't scuttled with the boat… so we'll have to use this time to get in close… we might even be able to get them off guard in the process." Gaito explained, the others nodding. "Koukashi, it might pay for you to wait around here at least till we know what we're up against. Axia and Arisanra will wait here at your side." Gaito added, the two girls nodding in unison.

"Very well, be careful you lot… the forces inside Ida's country are far greater in number and in power compared to the Beauty and the Beast group… and don't forget that Screaming Mantis is still alive too… keep a watch for her, she can manipulate your chakra and control it willingly." Koukashi explained. "Thanks, we'll come back for you no problem!" Narashi exclaimed, as he waved the team down to make their charge through the dark forest heading to the village of darkness.

Ten minutes had passed and a scout man had made it back to Ida. "Sire… we have a problem…" The soldier explained. "What is it?" Ida asked pouring himself a red wine. "The scout team went and checked the wreckage for survivors from the boat, no one was there… its likely they either sank down and drowned or…"

"Or the bastards screwed up and those bastards are on the island already and preparing their attack! GOD DAMMIT!" Ida shouted, smashing the glass in his hand, and glared at the other. "Get the cobra and fox unit at the ready and make sure they don't get through!" Ida roared, the soldier frantically making his way out.

The gang had made it to the gates, having noticed a major group of super shinobi waiting at the gates. "Guess they got to the boat quicker than we got here." Narashi muttered, as he looked back. "We're going to need a major opening if we want to break through these lot and get in… Li… Gaito, I think a dynamic entry could be in order here." Narashi mused, Li and Gaito saluting. "With honour sir!" Li exclaimed, looking to his father who nodded, the two quickly releasing their 6th gates respectfully and launched out of the tree tops.

"Intruders!" one of the Super Shinobi shouted, as they took their weapons out and charged towards Li and Gaito. "Ready son!?" Gaito shouted, rushing towards the group with Li in toe. "Always Sensei!" Li shouted, both launching into the air simultaneously and then took a striking stance. "Twin Dynamic Entry!" both shouted, as they launched themselves down towards the Super Shinobi attacking them, striking two in the gut with enough precision and forth that it sent them hurdling back into the other lot, knocking them down like pins at a bowling alley.

"That never looks fun being on the receiving end of that… alright let's move!" Narashi shouted, initiating his chakra mode, quickly rushing in, Devika doing the same with her level 3 obliviac form. Uraika initiated his Chidori stream and rushed in as well. "Sir they have broken through the main forces at the gate! They are inside!" The soldier shouted, being socked in the face suddenly by Ida's fist and was hurled into a wall. "I can SEE that you fool! YOU get the Cobra unit into the manor and deploy the Fox unit to engage the enemy!" Ida shouted, the other man frantically rushing off himself.

Narashi, Devika and Uraika were making their way through the forces of Super Shinobi rather effortlessly with Li and Gaito taking up the rear and dealing with those the other three were evading. As the three rushed further into the depths of the village they were then seen watching three men launch down in front of them as though trying to stop their movements. "Narashi go ahead! We've got this!" Uraika shouted, skidding to a halt, Devika doing the same.

"Stay safe you two!" Narashi shouted, flashing past the three men and dashed off ahead towards the manor. "Speedy little bastard!" One of the men shouted, being stopped by the hulking figure. "Leave him, the boss can handle him no problem, we'll deal with the Uchiha and girl first." The man explained, the other grabbing a chakra blade and smirked. "Oh it will be my pleasure." The male explained before being kicked in the face by Li and was hurled across the ground.

"I will be your opponent!" Li exclaimed taking his taijutsu stance. "Taijutsu user huh… very well, I will amuse you then." The male grunted, getting up and taking a similar stance, his form erupting in the 6th gate suddenly. "A Taijutsu user like myself, this could be most problematic." Li thought to himself.

"Gaito, that other one is yours… Devika and I will take the hulking man." Uraika explained, Gaito nodding as he motioned the other person to move away from the area, the other complying rather simply. "You want to fight me two on one then? That's not very sporting odds…" The hulking figure muttered, Uraika smirking. "No you're right about that… Devika stay back, he's mine." Uraika mused, activating his Mangekyou at that point. "Be careful…" Devika muttered, stepping back.

"To whom do I owe the pleasure then?" The Hulking figure muttered, propping a rather large battle axe against his shoulder. "Uraika Uchiha…. And you?" Uraika responded. "I am the mighty Vulcan Raven… master of the wind element… and your end." Raven muttered. "Another Raven?" Uraika asked confused. "Ah yes you speak of Raging Raven… of the B&B corp… a pale comparison to I… allow me to show you." Raven muttered, forming a single handseal and with that a huge radiation of wind shot out from his body towards Uraika who used Susano'o to defend it, sliding back all the while.

"That's some impressive wind you got there… you'd likely clear a building with it." Uraika mused with a cocky smirk on his face. "Funny joke Uchiha… how bout you put the joke book down and face me if you are so confident in your abilities." Raven muttered still, tapping the axe against his shoulder. "Sure thing, if you're that eager to die!" Uraika shouted, his left eye beginning to bleed before it widened. "Amaterasu!" He shouted, the black fire starting to appear on the males shoulder.

The male's eyes sharpened a tad before a huge explosion of wind shot off his body repelling the fire off to a nearby building, engulfing it. Uraika was shocked by this, but used the time to initiate his other Mangekyou abilities making his speed faster. "Kouesyoumi!" Uraika shouted, his right eye sending pulsations rippling across the sky, hitting Raven who seemed unphased by it. The Uchiha flashed behind Raven with a Chidori sword in hand, launching it straight for the males spine. "Got you…" Uraika mused, before Raven suddenly spun around and grabbed the blade effortlessly wind pulsations emitting around his palm.

"He wasn't affected by my Kouesyoumi!? But how!?" Uraika thought to himself in shock, even Devika found herself stunned by this. "Pathetic…" Raven muttered, using his free arm to launch his battle axe down upon Uraika's frame, slicing through his shoulder and down towards his torso, Uraika howled in pain as he launched back to avoid the full sting of the blade, sliding back gasping for air while blood gushed from the wound.

"Your little eye trick only works in the manner of which if it hits the opponents nervous system… if you hadn't noticed my wind has been surrounding my being the entire time… therefore it was repelled before you even knew it…" Raven explained, wind pulsations flushing off his body in sets. The Uchiha snarled as lightning began to course around his body, searing the wound shut at that moment. "That's a clever little trick you have there Uchiha… however that scar will be your constant reminder in the afterlife of the shame you have brought yourself in trying to fight me…" Raven muttered.

"This doesn't make sense…" Uraika thought to himself, gritting his teeth. "His wind chakra is letting him repel stuff away without a bother… but he's only weaved the one hand sign… unless… that was the jutsu being activated." Uraika thought to himself, glaring at his own hand. "On top of that, the lightning element is supposed to have the edge in this… but why was he able to withstand my Chidori spear… this doesn't add up right…" Uraika muttered, glaring at the male.

"IF this is all the Uchiha clan has to offer, a lightning sword and a skeleton being unable to withstand my wind… then I will no longer waste my breath on you." Raven muttered, drawing his axe to the side, wind suddenly swirling around it. "Wind style… gale axe devestation." He muttered again, rushing towards Uraika suddenly. "Inferno style – Flame control!" Uraika shouted, drawing a blade of black fire of which he held in his right palm, using it to strike towards the other being who threw his axe towards the Uchiha.

The two blades clashed and sent ripples of chakra spreading around the area, destroying buildings. The Uchiha was parrying the attacks thrown at him by the hulking figure as the male was effortlessly throwing his axe around with one hand. The two clashed blades again forcing one another back. "Do you know the code of the Samurai…. Uchiha?" Raven asked, earning surprise from the Uchiha.

"In the code of the samurai… it is often said that one hand is needed to wield a blade so the other can be used to throw weapons… but…" Raven slowly brought his other hand forward and clutched the handle of his axe. "When both hands are used…. The strength of the blade doubles in force and power." At that point the male let out a huff, his axe destroying Uraika's Amaterasu blade and nearly took Uraika's hand off with it.

The Uchiha stumbled back, stunned completely all this. "Uraika!" Devika shouted in shock to the situation, readying up her level 3 Obliviac. "Farewell Uchiha… Wind Style… Great Axe Destruction." Raven muttered, throwing the axe behind his head, then slammed it to the ground sending thousands of wind blades towards the Uchiha who had no time to react and was struck with every single one. "URAIKA!" Devika shouted in horror, as the Uchiha's bloodied corpse flew backwards in the air, the males eyes whited out.

Devika was stunned and unable to move herself as she watched Uraika's body hit the floor, motionless and still. "NO!" Devika shouted, rushing over to the male, the hulking figure letting her do as much. The female skidded to her knees and propped Uraika to her frame. "Uraika! Are you okay!? Say something!?" She shouted, shaking the boys body violently. Uraika's hand of which had rested on his gut when he hit the floor then dropped to his side, indicating no movement or pulse. "No…. no….!" Devika muttered holding him closer to her.

"P-Please… don't die…. Don't leave me!" She started to sob, the hulking figure emotionless before them. "Do not worry girl… you will join him soon enough…" Raven muttered, raising his hands up again. "Wind style…." Before Raven could finish his sentence, Gaito managed to get a sucker punch in with a sweeping roundhouse kick to the forms face. Raven slid back rather surprised. "So you disposed of Decoy Octopus then…." Raven muttered, Gaito taking his stance.

"I will be your opponent now!" Gaito exclaimed, taking his 7th gate and rushed the male entering combat.

"Uraika…. Please…. Don't die…" Devika muttered, taking his lifeless hand and held it tightly. "You… promised me you'd be my…. Guardian devil….! You can't go like this….!" Devika sobbed, her emotions running wild. "P-Please…. Uraika. …. I …. I love you…. Don't leave me!" She screamed, hugging him tightly.

Uraika slowly regained consciousness, looking around for a moment, before getting to his feet and looked around the plain white room that he was standing in. The Uchiha said nothing as he looked at his hands, then at his arms, then all around. He was completely healed and wearing white robes. "So… that's it then is it…?" Uraika asked himself, sighing. "I'm dead…" he added.

"No… you are not dead…. Not yet at least." Said a voice from behind Uraika, making the male turn and saw none other than his father, Sharazanku Uchiha standing before him. "You…." Uraika snarled, activating his Sharingan. "You hate me… is that it?" Sharazanku asked, sighing. "I don't blame you… not for what I did…" Sharazanku muttered, glaring at the ground. "Why!? WHY DID YOU KILL THEM!?" Uraika shouted angrily.

"You knew about the Uchiha Clan coupe detate decades ago! You knew the village were responsible for their death by Itachi's hands! Why did you play into Takashi's hands like that!? ANSWER ME!" Uraika shouted, Sharazanku stunned by his sons words.

"So…. Takashi told you then did he?" Sharazanku asked. "I found out through Sasuke's secret scroll hidden in the valley of the end! But that doesn't answer my question!" Uraika shouted. "Why did my mother have to die!? Why Mitzi!? WHY ANY OF THEM!?" Uraika shouted. "I thought… I was liberating them from the darkness we Uchiha harbour…" Sharazanku muttered, Uraika gritting his teeth. "They did nothing! They had no part in our dark nature! They were doing what they could to keep us from going into darkness!" Uraika explained.

"But Takashi is right… is he not?" Sharazanku asked, the Uchiha boy glaring at the male. "The Uchiha Clan has lived a life of darkness, anger… hatred and despair… from the times of Madara Uchiha right through to today…" Sharazanku muttered, glaring at the ground. "There is nothing left for us but darkness." Sharazanku continued.

"I took that darkness, and I casted it aside!" Uraika shouted, earning shock from Sharazanku. "I defeated Takashi and saved the Uchiha and the leaf! Because that is my clan and that is my home! A home you soiled in innocent blood!" Uraika explained, the other Uchiha looking at the ground sadly. "I…. did… didn't I…?" Sharazanku sighed. "I'm a failure to the clan… I deserved what I got…" Sharazanku muttered.

"But I am past it." Uraika told the male, who glanced at Uraika in surprised. "You did what you thought was right for our clan… even if it was completely wrong… so to answer your question… no father… I do not hate you… not anymore at least." Uraika explained, Sharazanku's eyes welling up with tears. The male wiped his tears before forming handseals, both his eyes transforming to Mangekyou. "What are you doing…?" Uraika asked, the male walking towards his son then prodded his forehead in the same manner Itachi used to do to Sasuke.

"I have shared a power with you… as well as my remaining chakra…. Use it to defeat your enemy and save the village you hold dear to your heart… and truly liberate the Uchiha from darkness… I know you can do it… you are my son after all…. My precious son… who I regret ever hurting… I'm sorry Uraika…" Sharazanku muttered, the room going bright.

Gaito was struck back by Raven, hurled into a rock face where he was rendered unconscious by the attack. "Your Taijutsu is mighty, but nothing I could not overcome." Raven muttered, looking over to Devika, who got to her feet glaring at the male as her form transformed into an Angel like status. "So you are of the Obliviac Clan… interesting… I shall show you no mercy…" Raven muttered forming handseals at that moment of time. "Typhoon style – Almighty hurricane devastation!" Raven shouted, massive amounts of wind blasting around his body in a hurricane formation of which screamed towards Devika forcing her out of her transformation and rendered her movements useless.

"I-I can't move…" Devika snarled, gasping when she saw Raven right in her range with his battle axe ready. "It's over…" Raven muttered throwing his axe in her direction. Devika could only flinch and brace for impact, the sound of contact was made and suddenly Raven's axe went flying across the field and smashed into a nearby building. The hulking man glanced at his hand, or at least that's what he thought it was before stepping back and grabbing the stump that was where his hand was.

"If you ever lay a hand…. On her head… even once…" a voice muttered out, Devika's eyes widening in surprise and more elation than shock as she turned her frame around to see Uraika standing there glowing in green/grey chakra. "I don't care if you are the master of wind…. I will KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND." Uraika snarled, his eyes opening to show both Mangekyou but with another shape added to them. The Susano'o would begin to transform once again around him, the males form hovering into the sky as a blue crystal surrounded him.

Before long an over the top sized Samurai with lightning coiled around it's frame stood above Raven. "The completed Susano'o… so he's showing his true colours then…" Raven thought to himself forming handseals once again. "Ultimate Wind Style – Severe hurricane impact!" Raven shouted, his form being surrounded by a tornado that began to rip through the area. "What intense wind forces!" Devika thought to herself, Li looking back at the wind and the perfect Susano'o. "Uraika… hang in there…!" Li thought to himself, quickly fending off an attack from his foe.

Uraika stood there while the Susano'o formed its own set of handseals, before generating a huge chidori in it's palm. "Susano'o Chidori!" Uraika shouted, as the giant astral form launched it's hand down into the tornado and struck Raven of which broke the jutsu and forced him across the battle field. "This will be my last Jutsu!" Uraika shouted, emerging out of his Susano'os crystal and formed a Chidori in his palm. "Cocky little brat, you know nothing of true strength! The Uchiha are burdens to this world and I will be their executioner!" Raven shouted, forming a wind barrier around his frame.

"You can take your beliefs and go to hell!" Uraika shouted, throwing the Chidori into the males chest region, forcing as much chakra as he could into the attack. Raven grinned and was about to deliver a counter assault but then gasped as the Chidori ripped through the wind barrier and struck him again in the chest. Uraika then used the time to leap into the air and with a forward flipping motion struck the man onto his back, where he'd then leap off him high into the sky.

"One of Narashi's favourites!" Uraika shouted, forming a single handseal. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouted, forming seven forms of himself of which each drew a Chidori into their palm and dashed down one at a time, striking Raven with each blow, dispursing as they did. "Chidori! Nine-strike shiver!" Uraika shouted, holding two Chidori's in his palm as he came crashing down atop of Raven, the area around them both exploding in electrical chakra the sounds of Raven's screams following.

Uraika did several back flips out of the explosion zone, gasping for air, while lightning chakra circulated around his arm. It wasn't long before Raven burst through the explosion zone coming straight at Uraika, his form bloodied and torn up. "UCHIHA!" Raven shouted, creating a blade of wind with his only hand ready to strike the Uchiha down.

"Tenshu no Kurosora…" Uraika muttered, before throwing his hand into the air and released the lightning in his palm into the sky, while his left eye began to bleed and vein up. Before Raven could enter the range of the Uchiha a black lightning bolt suddenly fell from the sky hitting the hulking figure dead on, with howls of scream Raven was suddenly distintergrated by the attack, the explosion filling the area, Uraika standing there with a calm smirk on his face, as the debris shot past his frame.

When the dust and debris finally settled down the Uchiha deactivated his Sharingan and dropped to a knee. "Thank god that worked… I would have had nothing left…" Uraika scowled, as he slowly drew himself back to his feet only to be suddenly embraced from behind from someone. "You…. You are a bigger idiot than Narashi…. You know that…." The person muttered, the sound of sobbing heard from her frame. The Uchiha was surprised by this but said nothing at first, he then merely grinned and looked ahead of himself. "I know…. I know…"

"Raven was killed!? That Uchiha really is something else…" the other man muttered, quickly fending off Li's attack with a grunt. "I am your opponent here! Do not mock me!" Li shouted, as he spun around trying to kick the male in the face, the other male grunted as he blocked it off, grabbing Li's foot and twirled him around in a spiralling motion, before kicking Li hard in the gut and sent him flying back.

"I can't bypass his movements this is nuts…" Li muttered. "Li!" Gaito shouted to grab the boys attention, throwing the boy a pill. Li caught the pill and looked to it in surprise. "Is this…. But I thought there wasn't enough ingredients to make another!" Li exclaimed. "You'd be correct in saying that, but this is a new one… it mimics it… it doesn't require you to transform to use it… it's the perfect 8 gates pill!" Gaito exclaimed with a thumbs up and a tooth sparkle.

"A pill? That's your grand scheme, how pathetic." The male muttered, cracking his neck. "I guess before I end you I will tell you my name… I am Major Ocelot." Ocelot mused before rushing towards the boy who removed the packaging from the pill and placed it in his mouth. "And I… am Rock Li." Li muttered, before his form erupted in red vapour, his hair rising up on end and taking on a flame like appearing, his eyes whiting out as the chakra vapour tore his upper clothing off revealing his chiselled frame.

"This is the…. 8th gate of death!" Ocelot shouted in shock. "I didn't think this kid would be that suicidal to use the 8th gate!" Ocelot thought to himself, but then realized something. "Wait a second, his life signature isn't being released from the form… is that what the pill was?" Ocelot couldn't go too much more into depth of his thoughts when all of a sudden Li lunged himself into Ocelot's gut with his shoulder, the male spewing up blood as he was then sent upwards into the sky with a jaw shattering uppercut with the taijutsu users foot. "Take this…!" Li shouted, launching into the air like a rocket and began to smash Ocelot around like a pin ball. "Tenshu no Renge!" Li roared, thrusting both of his palms into Ocelot's gut and sent him crashing into the ground hard with a massive explosion to follow.

The Taijutsu user then using the sky step threw himself down towards Ocelot and with a hard drop kick to the males gut destroyed every bone in the others body as well as ruptured every organ, and the male was killed right on the spot, the explosion spanning for a good yard before settling to nothing. Li stood in the centre of the crater around the blood soaked dead male, gasping for air as the vapour released and he like Uraika dropped to a knee. "It never gets…. Any easier to maintain… even if it wasn't real…" Li gasped, reaching into his pouch and took a soldiers provision pill, chomping on it to regain lost energy.

"Their forces are weakened!" A super shinobi shouted, as a group of at least three hundred of them surrounded the four shinobi. "We'll get them at their worst!" another shouted, Uraika smirking as he moved off Devika's frame and activated his Sharingan again. "What do we say then… one last hoorah before we catch back up to the idiot?" Uraika asked the other three, of whom nodded and smirked. "Oh yeah!" They exclaimed before the four of them rushed towards the Super Shinobi.

Chapter 8 – The Cobra unit! A battle of the teachers!

Narashi had made his way through the super shinobi threat that was blocking his entrance into Ida's manor and was soon inside the large building trying to find his way through towards Ida's main room. "I could take forever to find this guy, Kurama any ideas where he might be?" Narashi asked. "His chakra seems to be coming dead ahead, so just keeping following the hallway!" Kurama exclaimed, Narashi nodded releasing his chakra mode to conserve chakra.

The boy would enter a large room that was strangely surrounded by a forest. "It's like an outdoor forest inside…" Narashi muttered, glancing around before quickly leaping into a nearby tree watching a bow shoot past his face and to the ground. "Good moving Narashi, I could sense poisonous chakra coming from the tip of that bow…" Kurama muttered, glancing around. "I can't sense anyones chakra around here so chances are they are masking it somehow… using the forest as a perfect camouflage." Kurama explained.

"Then let's just get rid of the forest then!" Narashi shouted, entering tailed beast mode leaping into the air using the chakra claws to create a Rasen-Shuriken. "Wind Style – Rasen-Shuriken!" Narashi shouted, throwing the attack down towards the trees, that was before a large spider suddenly appeared from a cloud of smoke and threw a spider web out its mouth of which caught the attack and forced it into exploding early. "What the!?" Narashi exclaimed in shock, as the spider lurched back and spewed a purple liquid out of it's mouth.

"I won't be able to move in time!" Narashi shouted, preparing to shield himself. "FIRE STYLE – GREAT FIRE STREAM!" Two voices shouted from behind Narashi, a huge stream of fire shooting from both sides of the Uzumaki of which hit the liquid and caused it to evapourate into steam of which drifted into the sky. "Wait! Who did that!?" Narashi asked himself, landing on the ground and looked behind him.

"Sensei! Old Man Jou!" Narashi exclaimed, the two being revealed as Marakai and Joushiro standing before him. "Sorry we're late… I had to convince the Daimyo to let me take part in this mission, what with being Hokage after all." Marakai explained, adjusting his headband while Joushiro smirked. "And I couldn't pass up this opportunity to show my student a thing or two about fighting strong opponents! You go on ahead! We'll deal to these lot!" Joushiro exclaimed, Narashi nodding.

"Narashi, when this is over… you will be Hokage, I promise." Marakai told the boy of whom gasped a little then smirked. "I'll hold you to that one Sensei!" Narashi gave the male a thumbs up before turning and rushed on ahead. "So… what do you know of these lot." Marakai asked, Joushiro removing his large scroll and threw it aside. "The Fear and the Pain, masters of Arachnids and Hornets… which generally means fire style is the way to go." Marakai responded, watching an army of hornets arise from the tree tops and came steering down their way.

"Here we go." Marakai muttered, forming handseals of which then created a golden stream of chakra around his palm in the form of lightning. "Lightning Style – Golden Lightning!" Marakai shouted, leaping up and striking through the hornets attacking him, striking a person that appeared to be inside it. The male was surprised by this but smirked as he saw who he was up against. "Marakai Hatake of the Sharingan, the newly appointed Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, what an honour and what pain!" The Pain shouted, grabbing Marakai's hand and spun him around a few times, before throwing the Kage to the ground.

"Hornet bullet!" The Pain shouted, his hornets shooting down at the male like bullets from a gun. Marakai quickly bounced off the ground doing several backflips to avoid the bullet like bugs, while forming handseals at the same time. "Fire Style – Fire bullet barrage!" Marakai shouted, leaping into the air while firing a volley of small fireballs towards the Pain who used his hornets to block each attack. "Hornet barrage!" The Pain shouted, throwing another frenzy of bugs towards Marakai who used his golden lightning to shred each one apart in their wakes.

"Too slow!" The Pain shouted, appearing from the broken down hornets and kicked Marakai across the forest. "Hornet armour!" The Pain shouted, suddenly becoming surrounded by hornets of which looked to protect him. Marakai flipped himself around throwing a few kunai's rigged with explosive tags, the bombs hitting their marks, a few of the hornets around the Pain's frame dropping to the ground. "You're overusing your fire moves! They don't work on my bugs! I have trained them to adapt to fire so you cannot beat me using your simple parlour tricks!" The Pain shouted, grinning at the ground, as a few hornet bullets shot up from out of nowhere striking Marakai in both shoulders.

Marakai winced as he used Uraika's technique to surround him in lightning based chakra of which began to heal his wounds while raising a hand into the air. "You prize your hornets so much… how bout we put an end to that one…." Marakai muttered, a spiralling ball of chakra forming in his hands. "So when did Marakai manage to get the Rasengan under his belt hmmm?" Joushiro thought to himself with a coy smirk as he evaded a striking leg of the spider that was still about and attacking. "You need to be more alert of your surroundings…. Joushiro the Toad sage!" The Fear mused, licking his lips with his forked like tongue.

"Your Rasengan is pretty good! But nothing I haven't already dealt to in my time! My Hornet armour will hold you at bay!" The Pain shouted, forming more hornets around his frame to be sure. "This Rasengan maybe, but how bout one of my own creation!" Marakai shouted, flames erupting around the Rasengan before water coiled about it, it was then rocks began to float about it while a shuriken formation of wind circled it. "So he's using all of his elemental affinities to create a super rasengan… no that's tacky… how about…" Joushiro thought to himself, as the lightning element circled the Rasengan and transformed it suddenly into a bright white spiralling ball of chakra that radiated heat.

"Ninja Art – Celestial Rasengan!" Marakai shouted, launching himself down towards the hornet covered man. "Meh…. Needs work." Joushiro grunted, before grabbing the spiders attacking leg and using his sage powers launched the creature onto it's back, quickly using a fire jutsu to incinerate it as well as injure the Fear, who scampered onto his legs of which were dislocated to allow climbing. "Bring it on! Your celestial whatever won't compare to me!" The Pain shouted, throwing a barrage of hornets towards Marakai who was able to use his new Rasengan to deflect the invading insects entering the males range.

The heat of the Rasengan began to do it's thing as the hornets around the Pain's body couldn't handle the heat and began to fly off his frame. "W-Wait! What are you doing!? PROTECT ME!" The Pain shouted, gasping when Marakai entered the males range. "It's over!" Marakai shouted, throwing the Celestial Rasengan into the Pain's frame hurling him across the battlefield. "Time to end this!" The Fear shouted, preparing handseals to conjure a jutsu up but then turned to see the Pain coming towards him with a large Rasengan holding him at bay.

"W-What the!?" The Fear shouted, unable to move in time as he too was hit by the Celestial Rasengan, sending the two figures into a nearby tree of which set the attack off in a huge ball of white chakra. "FEAR!" The Fear screamed out as his body was destroyed in the explosion of the attack. "PAIN!" The Pain shouted as well, as his body was also destroyed in the process of the explosion of which travelled out towards the entirety of the forest destroying it in their wake.

"God damn these impudent fools!" Ida shouted, the rattling of his fortress giving him plenty of thought onto how his men was doing. "Sir, the boy of the Nine-Tails is heading this way, estimated time of arrival…" The man muttered before suddenly being struck down by a flying door the male was hurled towards Ida, who grabbed the male and threw him behind his frame.

"Right now!" Narashi shouted, glaring at Ida.

Chapter 9 – The final battle the return of the Heavingly Rasengan!

"So… you're the Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki… Narashi Uzumaki, the so called hero of the Five Great Nations…. What a load of rubbish." Ida muttered, getting up from his throne, smashing it to pieces with the back of his fist. "You took EVERYTHING from me you brat! My great leader, the everlasting Kayori Otsutsuki… GONE to you… a snot nosed brat prattling on about peace and bringing it to all!" Ida roared.

"Kayori was an idiot if he thought he could change the world like he did! He and Takashi both got what came to then! And you're no different!" Narashi shouted, initiating Sage Mode as well as his chakra form at the same time. "So you're going to go all out then are you kid? Don't let me hold you back, in fact I won't even move from this very spot." Ida told the boy, sticking his arms out. "Go on already, but make it count." He mused.

"He's either got something up his sleeve, or he's acting very cocky for someone that doesn't look like he has any major talents. Other than being a scrawny wind pipe." Kurama told Narashi within his conscious. The boy nodded as he charged up a Rasengan in his palm and dashed right for the male, throwing it back and launching it forward. "RASENGAN!" Narashi shouted, the attack making dead contact with Ida's chest, but all that happened was the pulsations of the chakra ripped past his being and hit the destroyed throne reducing it to dust.

"What? Is that it? Is that really what the Nine-Tails has to offer?" Ida muttered, glaring down at the boy before backhanding him into a nearby wall with ease. "Geeze! That punch felt like being hit by a solid brick!" Narashi shouted, wiping the blood from his lip and getting to his feet. "But he's so scrawny, how could he have that much pack to his punch?" Narashi asked himself.

"I have a strange feeling that this guy is hiding something from us Narashi, be on your toes." Kurama muttered, glaring ahead. "What? You think because I am a scrawny man I can't hurt you? Niave kids these days." Ida muttered, as he vanished from his spot, appearing before Narashi throwing his fist back. "Didn't you parents ever teach you to never judge a book by it's COVER!" Ida roared, before hurling his fist into Narashi's gut, making the boy spew blood out his mouth.

Narashi glared through gritted teeth at the male, as he opted to try another Rasengan, but as the Rasengan formed and he was ready to launch it, the Rasengan vanished, making the boy look to his hand in shock. "Having trouble stabalizing your chakra are you!? How Sad!" Ida mused, as he spun around and roundhouse kicked Narashi in the face, making him bounce across the floor a few times, before hitting another wall with a tremendous thud.

The boy slowly drew himself to his feet and wiped more blood away before forming a handseal. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" But as Narashi said this, nothing happened. "W-What's going on here? It's like… I can't mould or generate chakra all of a sudden." Narashi muttered in shock. "I don't know what it is boy… but I can't do the same either, it's like something in here is draining my chakra and yours." Kurama explained, having entered his meditative pose to draw on chakra. "Well observed…" Ida mused, pointing in the air.

"Did you never notice the room was a little… mistier than what would be for a room of this size?" Ida asked, Narashi glaring around. "So that's what it is…a type of chakra negating mist or something." Narashi growled, as he reverted to Sage mode alone and threw his hand into the air, drawing on a Rasen-Shuriken. "Wind Style – Rasen-Shuriken!" Narashi shouted, throwing the attack towards Ida who merely grinned and sidestepped the attack, the attack hitting the thrown again and destroyed it, sending ripples of wind flowing through the area, removing the mist and clearing the room.

"Not bad, not bad at all to get rid of the mist… but it's too little too late, once that mist enters your body it renders your chakra network useless at least for a good hour or so… you're going to have to user your Taijutsu prowess to take me on… and let me tell you one thing kid." Ida mused, taking a stance that made Narashi's eyes widened massively. "I'm not going down without demonstrating my ace in the hole." Red vapour began to circulate around Ida's form his hair raising up on end and starting to take a fiery nature.

"Narashi… this is…" Kurama muttered, Narashi growling. "The gate of death…" Narashi snarled. "8th Gate of Death OPEN!" Ida roared, his form exploding in red vapour of which sent Narashi skidding back, trying to fend off the steam. "But if he does this! He will die!" Narashi shouted, gasping again when he watched Ida rip his shirt away revealing a form of seal around the mans chest where his heart is. "Not with this little trinket of mine here… as long as this seal is restraining the gates, I can use the 8th gate at will as MANY times as I see fit! But enough talking!" Ida roared, flashing into Narashi's range, throwing seven very quick and dangerous punches into his gut, before flashing past him.

"Mantis Art – Devious Claw Strike!" Ida shouted, the pain suddenly rippling through Narashi's being as he dropped to his knees and vomited blood from his mouth. "Without my chakra… I'm a goner…!" Narashi thought to himself, glaring back at the male, who smirked and flashed again. Narashi quickly scampered to his feet taking his Frog Kumite stance and began to fend off as much of the attacks that Ida was throwing at him.

Each strike fended would send the forces of energy into nearby walls, destroying them of which allowed Uraika, Devika, Li and Gaito see what was going on. They then gasped when they saw an explosion take place, and saw Narashi fly out the building, grabbing the ledge before it was too late. "We need to go help him!" Li shouted, Uraika, Devika and Gaito nodding.

"Oh boy… you nearly fell Nine-Tails… and it's quite a drop down isn't it?" Ida mused, walking over to Narashi and stepped on his hand, digging his foot in. "I hope you think about what you did on your way down." Ida mused, about ready to kick Narashi's hand free, but before he could he glanced back and evaded an attack of golden proportions. "The Hokage of the Hidden Leaf huh?" Ida mused, as he stepped off the boys foot and flashed to Marakai, who quickly initiated the substitution jutsu in time to be struck in the gut, vanish and be replaced by a log.

"Tch, such a childish Jutsu getting the better of me." Ida grunted, turning his head to see Marakai standing in front of Narashi while Joushiro helped the boy to the floor and checked him over. "Are you alright Narashi?" Joushiro asked. "No…. my chakra has been negated… I can't do anything right now…" Narashi grunted, glaring at the man. "He did it on purpose… so that when he initiated the 8th gate of death, he knew I wouldn't be able to do anything as my Taijutsu is rather average…" Narashi scowled.

"The 8th gate?" Marakai asked, turning his attention back to Ida. "This is true… that signature is very similar to what I've heard about… but he'll die if we prolong this fight so that's not a problem." Marakai explained. "Except he has a sealing formula on his chest that looks to be negating that death aspect of the gate." Joushiro explained, looking to the seal. "You're right… then we just have to break the seal." Marakai explained, activating both his Mangekyou Sharingan, the left eye activating.

"Golden Lightning Mangekyou special!" Marakai shouted, suddenly appearing in front of Ida and went to strike the seal with his attack. "Mantis counter!" Ida shouted, moving in a manner of which allowed him to strike Marakai in the shoulder blades and flip over the Hokage's body. "He just managed to dislocate both my arms in an instant! What power!" Marakai thought to himself, sharpening his eyes. "However…" He thought, as he quickly relocated his arms and formed handseals.

"Earth Style – Dark Swamp!" Marakai shouted, slamming his palms into the ground, the ground under Ida's feet turning into a swamp that he began to sink into. "Not bad, hindering my movements while the other attacks." Ida mused, turning his head to see Joushiro forming seals himself. "Sage Art! Infernal Fire Stream!" Joushiro shouted, releasing a huge stream of intense flames that screamed towards Ida. "Hirudora!" Ida shouted, forming a seal with his hands and released a huge sensation of energy from his palms of which smashed the fire away and shot it right back towards Joushiro and Narashi. Joushiro grunted as he quickly transformed his hair into a net of which he used to shield himself and Narashi from the flames.

"Constantly attacking me when I have my back turned, you guys are making this so easy." Ida mused, as he spun around grabbing Marakai's arm and twisted it around to force Marakai into a flipping motion. "You don't seem to understand that with the 8 gates initiated my senses are sharpened by a THOUSAND FOLD!" Ida roared, throwing his fist hard into Marakai's gut, making the male hurl blood through his mask and flew into a nearby wall.

"And don't think me being unwise to the fact you both have Taijutsu users capable of using the 8 gates as well…I have more than enough ways to counteract their techniques as well. I am unstoppable like this! Kayori kept me alive for the purpose of revenge should he fail and I am going to deliver on that with pure JUSTICE!" Ida shouted, thrusting his palms out towards Narashi, Joushiro and the staggering Marakai.

"Haikoshou!" Ida shouted, spinning around a few times, releasing himself from the swamp while then throwing two large gale forced waves towards the three beings. Neither would be able to evade in time, but suddenly they vanished in a blur. "What's this?" Ida asked himself, suddenly feeling sharp shooting pain in his gut.

He glanced down at an arm of which was pierced through him, lightning chakra encapsulated around the others hands. "Clever boy…" Ida snarled with a grin, the male forcing his arm out and leapt back. "Devika now!" The male shouted, forming handseals and arched back. "Fire Style – Inferno Fire Blast!" The male shouted, sending a huge blast of fire down towards the stricken male. "Wind Style – Severe Great Break!" Devika shouted, arching back and releasing a huge wave of wind from her mouth of which combined with the others fire attack, doubling it's speed and power as it smashed into Ida's frame and erupted in a huge ball of flames.

"Uraika! Devika!" Narashi exclaimed in surprise, the two looking back and grinned before glancing back to Ida, who walked out of the flames, badly burnt but seemed remotely in one piece. "Nice… I was needing a little warming up." Ida explained, buffing out his chest for a moment and within seconds his burns were gone and the hole in his chest closed up. "Some form of regenerative ability huh… well that just makes things more interesting…" Uraika grunted, lightning swirling around his body.

"We'll just have to go all out and make sure he can't regenerate then." Devika replied, her form transforming into her Angelic Purity form. "Uraika Uchiha… the lightning god, and Devika Shoyo the Angel of the Obliviac's…. what a dangerous combination to be going up against." Ida mused, punching his palm. "But I'm more than ready for it!" Ida shouted, taking his stance. Uraika grunted, activating both his Mangekyou, both eyes pulsing, sending pulsations smashing into Ida. "What's this?" Ida muttered, looking at his hands and found that despite wanting to move his right hand, his left one moved instead.

"Is this a type of Genjutsu…. No I'd have surely anticipated that." Ida thought to himself, glancing up and evaded an attack from the fast moving Devika. The male went to strike her with his right hand, but his left hand threw forward instead, allowing Devika to intercept it and kick the male across the face, making him slide back. "Whenever I move one limb the other moves for me…. So that's it… his Mangekyou Sharingan's combined ability… it messes with the body and mind and confuses it so you almost act in opposite." Ida thought to himself with a grin, Uraika charging towards Ida with Chidori in palm.

The Uchiha thrusted his palm out and watched as Ida deflected it, and looked to be attacking with his right arm, the Uchiha grinned as he prepared to intercept his left arm attack, but then found himself in severe pain as Ida struck the Uchiha in the face and hurled him into a nearby wall. "Uraika!" Devika shouted, before addressing the other male, and flashed in to his range. With both of her swords at the ready, she went in for an X style slashing motion, only for Ida to leap over top them, landing behind her.

"He's planning to attack from the left… so I." Much like Uraika, Devika was suddenly kicked hard in the left hand side of her body and with that she was hurled into the wall next to Uraika who was getting himself back to his feet, spitting blood out of his mouth. "Dammit… looks like he's seen through my Kouesyoumi…" Uraika snarled. "A very interesting technique with your eyes there Uchiha… but not one that can't be overcome with a little thought process." Ida mused, tapping his head in a mocking manner.

Uraika and Devika snarled as they charged Ida and began a flurry of Taijutsu based attacks, both using lightning chakra in their offensives, but were getting nowhere as Ida began to fend off each attack effortlessly. The Uchiha of Uraika jumped back a few times and raised his lightning infused hand into the sky, launching a lightning bolt through the roof and into the clouds. "Whatever you're planning it won't work!" Ida mused, charging for Uraika.

"Nightmare of a thousand sparks! Shockwave slicer!" Devika shouted, thrusting her swords back and forth to release chakra streams from them, all of which Ida effortlessly evaded. "Tenshu no Kurosora…!" Uraika shouted, lowering his palm, a huge blast of lightning crashing through the roof towards Ida who smirked and performed a backflip of which allowed him to easily evade the lightning attack. "I watched your fight with Raven! I'm not blind to the notion of what you were planning there!" Ida mused, as he flashed towards both Uraika and Devika striking them a good few times with his fists, before kicking them both in the ribs and sent them flying towards Narashi and the others, being caught by Li and Gaito in their wake.

"There's nothing we can do to stop him…" Narashi thought to himself, glaring at the ground. "Nonsense, we have a way to win!" Marakai told Narashi who looked at his teacher. "But how? With those eight gates he can see everything coming a mile away! On top of that no one really has the chakra or a jutsu capable of beating him!" Narashi exclaimed, earning a sharp knock to the head by his teacher and his master.

"Is that the sound of giving up!?" Joushiro shouted, Narashi gasping in surprise while rubbing his head. "The Narashi Uzumaki I know and trained was never a quitter, he'd go in head first without thinking of the consequences and most of the time he came out on top!" Joushiro explained, Marakai nodding. "The Narashi Uzumaki I know always found a way to overcome the odds and make a difference in even trying times." Marakai added, Narashi glaring at the ground. "But without my chakra I…" at that point Marakai and Joushiro took Narashi's hands and began to feed him chakra.

"W-What are you!?" Narashi shouted. "There is one person and one jutsu alone who can make this work!" Joushiro shouted, Marakai nodding as they kept pouring their chakra into Narashi's being. "This isn't going to be enough though…" Narashi muttered, feeling hands pressed against his back, the Uzumaki glanced back and saw Uraika and Devika weakly doing the same as their teachers. "You're the one to save the world…. You idiot…!" Uraika snarled. "You're the one who will release the world from the Darkness and then you will raise your son in a world of peace…!" Devika muttered.

At this point Li and Gaito had initiated the 7th Gates respectfully and were attacking Ida with everything they had as a distraction. "But what can I do? What is there I can manage?" Narashi asked, feeling chakra from within him being surged through. "Use the jutsu that freed the world before! The very jutsu that was given to you by your Great-Grandfather! The one that will liberate the world!" Kurama shouted, drawing out his chakra.

Narashi gasped, before he moved his hand out and began to drawn on a Rasengan. "But this time, it will be something of a more powerful scale!" Kurama shouted, the Rasengan forming the nine tails as previous to when they fought against Kayori. "Because this Rasengan of yours." Uraika grunted, activating his Mangekyou Sharingan, the Rasengan being covered in a layer of grey/green chakra similar to that of his Susano'o. "Will be the embodiment of not only ourselves." Devika muttered, activating her purity form of which trailed through Narashi and then caused his Rasengan to change into one of a pure white colour.

"But the will of fire and the freedom of the Shinobi world!" Joushiro shouted, implanting Sage chakra into the Rasengan making it grow bigger and bigger, Narashi raising his hand up to hold the massive pure white Rasengan with green/grey armour around it. "But most of all Narashi… this Rasengan will be the one to write into the history books, as the one who uses it… will be the greatest Hokage who ever existed." Marakai muttered, pumping chakra through Narashi's frame to allow him to return to his chakra mode.

"You guys…." Narashi muttered, looking behind them, seeing their smiles of which made tears run down his face. "I love you…. I love you all so much, you have made everything for me so great… a life worth living… and a life worth protecting!" Narashi responded, glaring ahead at Ida. "YOU HEAR ME IDA!?" Narashi shouted, the male kicking Gaito away long enough to glance at the chakra ball and step back in shock.

"THIS JUTSU IS THE START OF A BRAND NEW WORLD! AND THIS WORLD NO LONGER WANTS YOU TO BE A PART OF IT!" Narashi shouted, as he rushed towards Ida, who smirked darkly and formed a series of handseals. "Don't talk as though you have won this fight kid! I AM THE GREATEST BEING IN EXISTANCE!" Ida shouted, as he took a pose, then much like the figure of a certain anime special technique, drew on natural energy that began to circle around his palm.

"AKATSUKACHI!" Ida roared, throwing his palms forward and released the chakra in a huge formation of energy that took on the shape of a serpent. Narashi screamed out in anger as he threw the large Rasengan into the attack of Ida's and the two began to clash and the power struggle took place. "You…. Are evil…. And evil is what needs to be expunged… in order… to create a NEW LIFE!" Narashi shouted, Ida smirking darkly once again as he held firm.

"Do you not get it kid!? There will be no such thing as true peace in this world! NOT WHILE SHINOBI EXIST!" Ida roared, throwing more energy into his being and releasing it to try and force Narashi back. Uraika slowly dragged himself back to his feet and watched Ida starting to gain the upper hand. "Narashi… you were the only one able to see me through my pain and anquish… you made me… want to become a better person… and you wanted nothing in return…" Uraika thought to himself, thinking back to previous battles and experiences they had.

"I'll finally return the favour…" He grunted, closing his left eye, snapping it open into Mangekyou. "AMATERASU!" Uraika shouted, black flames suddenly erupting on Ida's shoulder. "What the!?" Ida shouted, glaring at his arm. "STOP INTERFEERING YOU MAGGOTS!" Ida roared, enduring the pain as he continued his offense.

"Narashi… you made a friend of me… I didn't necessarily want friends at the time that you tried… but you persisted and you continued to form bonds with everyone you met…. You made me understand what love was…and how to achieve it…. I will be more honest with myself and my feelings now, thanks to you." Devika thought to herself, as she got to her feet and took both her blades, throwing them into the air and formed a handseal. The two blades suddenly merged together and upon the end of the transformation, her fan re-appeared however showcasing more angelic properties than her previous.

"Sunrise of a thousand radiances – Almighty Hurricane stream!" Devika shouted, throwing her fan forward and released a huge blast of wind that shot to Ida, ripping his skin open as well as making Uraika's Amaterasu spread more down his lower arm. "STOP IT!" Ida howled, throwing more and more of his energy out, making Narashi grit his teeth and slide back across the ground a little.

"Narashi, when I met you, you were nothing more than a snot nosed runt seeking attention from others by any means necessary…. But you were a natural when it came to Jutsu selection and mastering them… you grew and grew, continuing to keep down your path as becoming the greatest Hokage in existence… you defeated Kayori Otsutsuki… you aided in the defeat of Takashi Uchiha and you continue to fight the hard fights to get to where you are today… I am proud to have made you my student." Joushiro thought to himself, forming handseals and slammed his palm to the floor.

"Sage Art – Devestating Toad Swamp!" Joushiro shouted, dark murkey ooze began appearing under Ida's feet of which made the male snarl and use his chakra force to try and repel it away from him. "IF YOU ARE ALL SO EAGER TO DIE I WILL COMPLY WITH THAT AFTER I AM DONE WITH THIS BRAT!" Ida screamed.

"Narashi… you were exactly like Otokashi was when he was your age… he wanted to see the best of people even when they were lost in the darkness… I threw that away in my deep seeded hatred for your father and the village for the loss of my parents… but you were always trying so hard to show yourself up and be better than everyone around you… you were gifted and talented but always left wondering when Uraika interfered with your tests and exams…

You've grown so much not only as a Shinobi ,but as a person as well… you have loved so many, and so many have loved you back… I often sometimes see you as more like a son… than a student… Narashi Uzumaki…. You broke this mans shell and made him a better person, and I will always respect and love you for that…. And one day if I do have a child of my own…. I want him or her to be just like you…" Marakai thought to himself, as he grabbed a handful of needles and infused them with golden lightning.

"Golden Lightning senbon!" Marakai shouted, throwing the needles straight towards Ida's joints, striking them perfectly and pierced through the males flesh. "ARCK!" Ida shouted, his form slumping over enough for his attack to start weakning. "NARASHI!" Gaito shouted. "NARASHI!" Li shouted as well.

"NARASHI!" Devika shouted

"NARASHI!" Uraika shouted

"NARASHI, NARASHI!" Marakai and Joushiro shouted in unison.

"FINISH IT!" They all screamed in unison, Narashi lost in a moment of admiration and a little moment of sadness as well. "These are your family Narashi…" Kurama told the boy who turned around for a moment to see not only Kurama, but his mother and father standing behind the Fox with smiles on their faces. "Protect them, as the future Hokage…" Kurama told the boy, of whom grinned a broad grin, before returning to reality, his eyes full of determination as he released all of his chakra in one burst and with a mighty scream began to force his attack towards Ida's, breaking it up slowly in it's wake.

"W-WHAT!? N-NO THIS CAN'T BE!" Ida shouted, being hit by the attack and was starting to be pushed back by it. "THIS CAN BE! AND IT WILL BE! FOR THIS IS THE JUTSU TO END ALL JUTSU!" Narashi roared, the Rasengan suddenly taking on one more transformation, erupting into a platinum ball of chakra that was enhanced by halos of which surrounded it.

"NOW EAT THIS! SUPERLUNARY DEVINE…..RASENGAN!" Narashi screamed at the top of his lungs as the Rasengan began to chew into Ida's flesh and slowly break it apart. "I…. I don't understand this… I did everything right… I did everything needed to finally get justice…. Why….!? WHY!? WHYYYYY!" Ida roared, his body slowly being destroyed by the chakra of the Superlunary Devine Rasengan, at this point Narashi twisted his palm in order for the attack to be released from his frame, the huge ball of platinum chakra being hurled out into the outer of the building, continuing to float upwards as it entered the atmosphere and released itself in an almighty explosion of light.

Chapter 10 – The encounter with Screaming Mantis, the battle finally concludes!

Narashi stood there gasping for air slowly as the rubble and debris started to settle from the destruction of the room they were in. "Unbelievable…." Uraika muttered, slowly being helped up slightly by Devika, who smiled at the boy. "He truly is a one of a kind idiot isn't he…?" Devika mused a little, the Uchiha blushing a tad before sticking his nose up. "You got the idiot part right at least." Uraika grunted, Devika for the first time letting out a soft giggle before looking towards the others.

"So is that it…? Is Ida really dead?" Li asked in surprise, Gaito nodding. "Yeah, there's no way, even with the 8th gate that he would have survived something like that." Gaito explained, turning his head to see Koukashi, Axia and Arisanra rushing towards them. "A-Are you okay!?" Axia shouted rushing over to the group. "Y-Yeah… just… worn out…" Narashi muttered, before falling face first onto the floor. "Narashi!" all of them shouted in unison, rushing over to his aid, but found themselves laughing when they could hear him snoring and talking in his sleep about being a better Hokage than Naruto.

"At last this country can finally see some peace…" Koukashi muttered, before gasping in surprise. The male glanced around for a moment, then suddenly found himself unable to move. "What's wrong Koukashi?" Marakai asked, noting the strangeness of the other. "I'm afraid Koukashi has left the building… I have taken his mind and will and with you lot all weakened from your fight with Master Ida… I can take you all down and continue what he failed to do." A female voice spoke through Koukashi's mouth, a grin etched onto his face.

"Oh no… I had forgotten about that… Screaming Mantis…" Marakai grunted, trying to get to his feet but ended up dropping to a knee. "I don't have any chakra left… I don't think any of us do… and Li and Gaito look like they can barely hold themselves up much less try and fight…" Marakai thought to himself, watching Koukashi form handseals and enshroud his hand in black lightning. "I will take care of the brat who did Master in first… an eye for an eye…" Koukashi mused, as he walked over towards the downed Narashi and was about to strike him down.

"Wood style! Wooden arch Jutsu!" Arisanra shouted, launching a block of wood from her palm of which smacked Koukashi's hand, ending the jutsu. "Tch, Senju member huh… guess I better deal with you first then!" Koukashi shouted, as he rushed towards the female, and threw a frenzy of attacks of which Arisanra was able to fend off rather easily. The male growled, but then grinned as he formed another range of black lightning around his palm and prompted her into using defence.

"Wood style! Wood barrier!" Arisanra shouted, creating a wooden frame around herself, of which was suddenly broken through and the hand slice along her breastline and down her torso, making her leap back holding her bloody wound. "It's over…!" Koukashi mused, launching at her frame once again, but then suddenly stopped grabbing his head in agony. "Why did he stop…?" Marakai thought to himself, looking around before seeing Axia in the Mind Transfer position.

"D-Don't you hurt my friend!" Axia shouted, as she dropped to the floor, entering Koukashi's mind where Screaming Mantis' persona was situated in. "How did you get in here!?" Screaming Mantis shouted, Axia launching at the female and delivered a frenzy of attacks into her frame, before forming handseals. "Water Style – Hydro Stream Jutsu!" Axia shouted, firing a huge stream of water that was able to smash Screaming Mantis back, breaking her hold on Koukashi and fled back to her own body.

"Damn that girl… she was of the Yamanaka Clan… I'll have to…" before Screaming Mantis could finish her sentence she was suddenly entrapped in a large wooden beam of which wrapped around her frame. "D-Darn it! They detected my chakra location!" Mantis shouted, glaring around before seeing everyone before her. "It's over Mantis…" Koukashi told her calmly, not angry about being used by her, but sad he ended up hurting someone in the process of it. "But it's not too late to make amends for your sins… I know what you have done and what you have been through…" Koukashi muttered, forming handseals and created a ball of light that entrapped everyone, allowing them all to see her memories.

The shinobi group entered the mind of Mantis showing them the village she came from of which was within the Darkness Country itself, so very close to home for her. She was a young girl loved by her family and friends, but one day a war broke out within the village and in danger of her life, her parents found her a hiding spot in a basement in an abandoned house, promising to find her when it was all over.

But they never came back, having locked the room from the outside poor Mantis was left inside trying to make sense of what happened. Her parents and friends had been killed in the battle and captives of the warring efforts had been stashed in the very house she was in, tortured and killed, their screams filled the room and filled her mind with despair and anquish. For months this went on, the girl finding mere scraps of food and water within the basement, having to listen to the agonizing cries for help and screams from the captives before death finally graced them.

It wasn't long before someone finally unlocked the door and found a starved and mentally drained girl, but upon trying to save her, the girl snapped and released a torrent of destruction upon her would be savior, killing him there and there. This man happened to be one of Ida's main men and upon hearing of his death at her hands, Ida; rather than kill her on the spot, opted to take her in and train her powers so that she could be an asset for him and his future plans.

"NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Mantis screamed, releasing Koukashi's jutsu and making them step back. "You don't know what it's like! TO hear the screams! The cries! The howls for mercy! Those bastards never gave an inch, they brought those people to their absolute death and still wouldn't kill them!" Mantis shouted, thrashing around in the wooden confines. "I don't want to scream, I don't want to be angry or sad… I'M SCARED DAMMIT! I DON'T WANT ANY OF THIS!" Mantis roared, her mask falling off her face to reveal her face.

"M-Mikala…" Koukashi gasped, seeing who she was after all this time. "I can't go back! I can't go back to any of this! I don't want this anymore! I should have died when I was locked in that room as a little girl! BUT I LIVED AND I HAD TO LIVE THROUGH THAT AGONY AND PAIN ALL BY MYSELF!" She screamed at them. Narashi at this time had slowly awoken to hear all this. "But… you have a chance now to live…. A proper life… I know the other ones of your team… opted for death… but you don't have to do that as well… you could be better than them…" Narashi explained, earning a look from Marakai and Koukashi.

"I can't…. I can't… I just can't! Please kill me now! End my pain!" Mikala shouted, tears running down her face. "I don't have anyone left anyway! I'm better off being dead!" She added. "That's not true Mikala…" Koukashi told the girl, crouching down and touched her face. "I am here… and I will never, ever put you through anything like that ever again… you were lost, misguided… traumatized… I get all that… but… it's time for you to put the weapons away… and come live with me… in the manor… I will give you a life worth living for." Koukashi explained, the female looking at the male in sadness before breaking down into more tears.

"Arisanra…" Marakai told the female, who nodded and released the jutsu. The female slumped down upon being released, allowing Koukashi to wrap his arms around her and embrace her. The female was hesitant at first but wrapped her arms around him as well. "I'm sorry for all of this…" Koukashi muttered, tears running down his face. "So…. Am I…" Mikala muttered, before her arm extended upwards a weapon appearing in it. "KOUKASHI!" Marakai shouted, Uraika acting upon this using his Mangekyou Sharingan to flash Koukashi out of the way, taking the time to drive a Chidori through the girls gut. "N-No!" Koukashi shouted, being stopped by Joushiro who shook his head in vain. Uraika removed his hand from the females gut and lied her gently onto her back.

"Thank you…. Uchiha…. There was no way….I was going to be able to live a normal life…. Not with what I have seen…. Or did…. So thank you…" Mikala slowly muttered, before her form curled up into a ball and much like the others her body turned to stone and her final breaths were taken.

"It didn't have to be like that…." Koukashi muttered, lowering his head softly. "War… often has the traumatic effect on people Koukashi…. Thank goodness we may never have to witness another one again… and see these types of people exposed to those fears again…" Marakai sighed, putting Narashi down, who walked over to the girl.

"I will guarantee that no more wars take place…" Narashi muttered, earning surprised looks from the group. "When I become Hokage… I will put a stop to all these battles and bring the world back to where it once was… peaceful." Narashi added, earning grins from everyone around him including Uraika.

A day had passed and everyone had been able to recover within the manors lower quarters and Koukashi had made the announcement to his people that Ida was dead, the Darkness country was now under his leadership and that a new name would be established. "So what did you come up with in the end?" Marakai asked, Koukashi looking around. "I figured the Valley country was a fitting name for this place…" Koukashi stated, before turning to see Marakai holding a scroll in his hand. "What's this?" Koukashi asked, taking it from the male. "A declaration that declares the Valley Country as an ally to the Fire Nation and the Hidden Leaf." Marakai explained.

"A thing my brother so desperately wanted to do… if only he knew compassion and understanding… thank you Lord Hokage… I will honour this and be at your side no matter what." Koukashi bowed at the male. "We should head back home." Marakai explained to the gang, Narashi blinking. "By the way… who was looking after the village when we were gone?" Narashi asked. "I had asked Lord Konohamaru, but he fell gravely ill… so I got Takeda to watch over." Marakai explained, Narashi frowning. "Oh… I see… I hope Old man Konohamaru gets better soon… let's head back so we can treat him to Ramen!" Narashi exclaimed.

"Always with your ramen…" Marakai chuckled, before sighing. "Alright, you win…let's go." Marakai explained.

Chapter 11 – An end to a legacy – The long awaited promotion to Hokage!

A day had passed and the gang had arrived back home to the village, Narashi being quick to the trot and ran towards Konohamaru's manor. "Hey! Old man we're back from the mission! We came to see how you were and treat you to some Ramen!" Narashi exclaimed, blinking when he saw medical staff around his house. "What happened…?" Narashi asked a medical staff, who looked to Narashi and frowned deeply. "I'm sorry Narashi… Lord Konohamaru sadly passed away last night…. He went peacefully… but he wanted me to give you this." The medical staff muttered, handing Narashi a note before walking away.

"Oh…. Right…." Narashi frowned deeply, as he read the note to himself. "Narashi… if you read this, then sadly I haven't made it through the night… but there was something I wanted to say to you… sadly this note is all I can give you… I have watched you grow from a young child into a fine young man… you were obnoxious, rambunctious… a real pain in my tuckus… but… you were also like the grandson I never had… your great-grandfather Naruto was my greatest rival… and my greatest friend… seeing you like you were, reminded me so much of him, and it made my last few days peaceful… knowing one day you will become the best Hokage there is…. Though clearly not better than me… stay safe my friend…. Lord Konohamaru."

Narashi wiped the tears away from his eyes and smiled warmly a little before glancing up at the Hokage faces. "Rest in peace… Old man…" Narashi muttered, turning to face the others as they arrived, explaining the situation.

After Konohamaru's funeral, Marakai had gathered the Councilmen and the Daimyo to a meeting where he addressed something that had them riled up. "Are you kidding me?! You can't retire just like that!" the councilman shouted at the male who stood there calmly. "Why not? I should think it's within my rights to decide if I want to step down as Hokage or not." Marakai replied. "Yes you are within your rights to do so! But the point is that there is no one currently able to take the post! You are the best of what we have right now!" The councilwomen shouted. "I can name one applicant more than ready to take the post." Marakai responded, the Daimyo chuckling waving his fan across his mouth.

"You mean that boy of Uzumaki right? Narashi was it?" The Daimyo asked, Marakai nodding. "But he's still a whelp! Yes he destroyed Kayori and aided in the destruction of Takashi, as well as put a stop to Ida! But he's still a strong young Shinobi that we could use for dangerous missions or war efforts!" The Councilman shouted. "I can vouche for Marakai in the agreement that Narashi Uzumaki should be made the Hokage." Said a voice from behind Marakai, the male turning to see Uraika standing there.

"I don't remember calling for you." Marakai told the male, who grunted. "I let myself in… so what? You agree with my statement." Uraika told the Kage who sighed. "I guess so… besides… Narashi has ambition to end wars… and ensure none arise again…" Marakai explained. "Preposterous! Naruto said that himself and look what came about it!" The councilwomen scoffed. "Naruto was niave… he wasn't aware that the Otsutsuki would make their mark on the planet… no one did… but there are no more major conflicts to speak of now… the Deadly Sin Killers and Realm of Forgotten Shadows are no more… and the Darkness Country is a thing of the past… Narashi will be a perfect Hokage, one better than any before us." Marakai explained.

"Put it like this, you're going to be stubborn, and so am I… I will not be returning to my post as Hokage, if you do not want to put another one in my place, that is your call." Marakai told them. "Geeze… you're a real persistant bastard aren't you?" The councilman grunted. "Oh let the boy be Hokage… it's in his blood after all!" The Daimyo mused. "He has my vote at least, you don't take down one of the Shinobi worlds most feared shinobi and not get that recognition." The Daimyo added.

"Alright fine! We get it! Fine… Marakai Hatake you are relieved of your duties as the 11th Hokage, but you are to be aware that in any circumstance that the boy is unable to fulfil his duties or if he's required elsewhere outside the village, you are to take his place again, got it?" The Councilman sighed. "Understood, thank you." Marakai told the group before looking to Uraika. "Can you get Narashi for me?" Marakai asked, the Uchiha nodding and stepping out.

Narashi was with Shinrin at the time of all this taking place, laying in the grass near the riverside looking up at the clouds. "It's strange…" Narashi told his wife of whom looked at him. "What's strange?" Shinrin asked. "It's like…now that all of our major battles are over… we don't really have a purpose in life or something like that." Narashi explained, Shinrin pondering about it before lying back down rubbing her pregnant belly. "I suppose you're right… I mean we've had what? Five wars in our time as Shinobi… it really is strange to think that at this point in time we could be seeing true peace." Shinrin told him.

"Well… not completely peaceful… that's something I want to change before I do anything major more." Narashi explained, sitting up to look at Shinrin. "I want to go on a journey across all of the planet…and ensure the world is truly at peace." Narashi explained, Shinrin looking at the boy in surprise. "How long do you think that will take?" Shinrin asked, the boy scratching his chin. "I don't really know… but I'm sure to come back to the village every now and again to check on everyone." Narashi replied. "Oh and so you'll leave me with our son is that it?" Shinrin asked sternly, Narashi frantically flailing about.

"No! No I didn't mean that! I just!" Narashi exclaimed, Shinrin giggling. "Relax, I'm only teasing… may I make a request?" Shinrin asked. "Sure?" Narashi replied in question. "Can you wait at least until I have our baby… so that… we can tag along?" Shinrin asked the male, the boy blinking in surprise. "You'd want to come along with me?" Narashi asked, Shinrin nodding. "It would not only be a time to spend with our son… but also… I want to see your journey and document it… so I could get Joushiro to write a book about it." Shinrin explained.

"The tale of a true hero." She added, Narashi blushing in surprise, but smiled. "Narashi." Said a voice from behind Narashi, making him turn his head. "Uraika?" Narashi asked surprised. "Lord Hokage… Marakai-Sensei… has requested your presence. Shinrin, I am sure you are free to tag along. But please make haste." Uraika explained, before turning to head back to the mansion.

"Wonder what Sensei wants." Narashi muttered, helping Shinrin to her feet and along with her headed to the Hokage's mansion.

"Ah good, you're here… and how are you Shinrin?" Marakai asked. "I'm alright, the baby is nearly due so I am taking the time to do some walking about and get fresh air." Shinrin replied, Marakai nodding. "Narashi, I brought you here today because I have an announcement to make." Marakai explained, Narashi nodding. "I plan to retire from my post of Hokage… and I have been given the blessings from the Council and the Daimyo of the Fire Nation to appoint you, as my successor. Narashi Uzumaki, I the 11th Hokage hereby beqeauth the title of 12th Hokage to you." Marakai explained, Narashi looking at the male in complete surprise. "Really…? I'm going to be the next Hokage?" Narashi asked. "You've more than earnt it this far… I couldn't be more ready to take the mantle and give it to you… so what do you say?" Marakai asked, Narashi looking at the ground for a moment before looking up and smiling at his teacher/Kage.

"I accept… but…" Narashi started. "But…?" Marakai asked, rather surprised there being a but in the situation. "But I want to do something first… something major… it will require me to leave the village for some time… but when I come back… I will gladly take the position… so could you be the Hokage a little longer for me?" Narashi explained. "What is this major thing you want to do?" Marakai asked, Uraika rather curious himself.

"I see…" Marakai responded having heard Narashi's plan to venture out and establish true peace. "I don't want to be the Hokage until I truly know the worlds are at peace… I want to be able to raise my son and any other children I have in a world free from wars… free from violence and free from anything that may cause major battles…. Only then can I truly feel like I have earnt the title of Hokage." Narashi explained, the Uchiha of Uraika grinning a little and shaking his head.

"It's a very notable cause… and one expected of you… you do have a very big and caring heart…" Marakai explained, mulling it over for a moment before smiling. "Very well. I will permit this S-rank mission of yours… but you are to promise me that you look after Shinrin and your son while you are there… they are just as important if not more important than the mission." Marakai explained.

"You got it!" Narashi shouted with a salute as he and Shinrin headed out. Uraika watched them leave thinking over some stuff before turning to Marakai. "Marakai, I'd like a moment to ask you something…" Uraika told the male.

Chapter 12 – The new journey! A time to restore order!

Two months had passed since Narashi had made the decision to go searching the globe to find true peace to the world and in that time young Kouji Uzumaki was born to the world and it was time for the three of them to begin their journey. Everyone apart from Uraika and Devika had come to see the three off as well as meet the new edition to their family.

"This is a real big thing you are doing Narashi, I am super proud of what you have done as a ninja, and I hope you accomplish this dream and come back to us so you can be our new Hokage." Takeda told the male, Narashi nodding with a grin. "Narashi! Just remember to burn with the flames of youth and do not worry of us! We will protect the village from any threat that comes our way!" Li exclaimed, he and Gaito posing with teeth sparkle.

"T-Thanks Li… appreciate that." Narashi responded, looking around. "I thought Uraika and Devika would see us off… guess it's in their style to be too cool for school!" Narashi chuckled, looking back to Shinrin who was holding Kouji in her arms. "Ready to go?" Narashi asked, Shinrin nodding. "Alright everyone! Take care! We'll be back when we can!" Narashi shouted, waving to the group as he and the other two proceeded onwards out of the gates and into the world.

"He truly is one of a kind." Joushiro told Marakai of whom nodded. "A real legend….and a real caring person… he will go far in the future." Marakai explained, as he and the group proceeded to walk away. The male stopped and noted a figure walking past them and out of the gates themselves. Marakai smiled a touch before turning to head back to the mansion and do some paper work.

Narashi, Shinrin and Kouji walked through the forest on the outskirts of the village walls, looking back at the village gates as they did. "Gonna be strange not being home for a while… but it's good to be able to spend it with you Narashi." Shinrin explained, the male nodding with a grin. But then blinked when he saw a figure coming towards them. "Mind if I tag along as well…?" The person asked, Narashi and Shinrin stopping. "Uraika? What are you doing here?" Narashi asked. "I'm the Hokage's aide remember?" Uraika asked with a grin. "That's to current and future Hokage as well… so I am coming with you as your aide… and not to mention I too wish to seek this peace you dream of." Uraika explained.

"But what about Devika?" Narashi asked, the Uchiha blushing a little before remaining his composure. "To be honest, she is pregnant with my children… I didn't want to put her through the stress of travel… so we agreed that she stay there and nurture the children… and that I take frequent visits to see her now and again." Uraika told them. "Oh wow! Congratulations Uraika! What are their genders?" Shinrin asked. "Twins… one male, one female… Devika decided to name the girl Lumiere… while I have named the boy Sasuke Uchiha the second." Uraika explained.

"That's great news pal!" Narashi exclaimed with a grin on his face. "How bout we get a move on yeah?" Narashi asked. "Yeah." Uraika and Shinrin responded before heading into the depths of the forest once again.

"Narashi, tell me something." Uraika told the boy who looked over at his friend and blinked. "What is it?" Narashi asked, the Uchiha looking ahead with a calm look on his face. "Do you really believe you can bring true peace to the world… what is your real aim for all of this?" Uraika asked him. Narashi thought about his question for a moment before grinning. "Of course I believe I can!" Narashi responded, the Uchiha looking to him in surprise. "It's because I know deep down even the meanest of bandits are just looking to find themselves… nobody is really that pure of evil." Narashi explained, looking ahead himself.

"Even Kayori and Takashi believed their intentions were pure… they were just misguided by the darkness… so was Ida… it was a shame that neither of them could see the light… but I believe that we can make a difference to this world so that darkness only has a place as lights shadow." Narashi explained, the Uchiha looking at him in disbelief before sighing. "You are truly niave… but I will do what I can to help with this." The Uchiha explained. "So where is our first location?" He asked again.

"Hozoku-Gai." Narashi told him. "The place of our first mission as Team 7… ironic." Uraika muttered, as he continued to walk on. Narashi started then stopped suddenly thinking about something. "OH GOD NO!" Narashi screamed in horror, earning their looks of confusion. "What is it?" Shinrin asked concerned. "I FORGOT TO CLEAN NARUTO'S SLATE AT ICHIRAKU'S! I TOLD THEM I'D DO IT BEFORE I LEFT!" Narashi shouted, dropping into the fedal position. "They're gonna ban me from Ichiraku's at this rate! My life is over!" Narashi sobbed.

"Is that all? Get up… I covered that bill for you." Uraika explained, Narashi and Shinrin looking to him in shock. "W-Why?" Narashi asked, the Uchiha smiling genially. "Because that's what friends do right?" Uraika asked before turning to walk ahead. "Uraika's really changed since he was a Genin huh?" Shinrin asked, Narashi nodding. "Stop dawdling ladies." Uraika muttered. "Well… almost…" She muttered, Narashi nodding with a blank stare himself before they followed the Uchiha to Hozuku-Gai.

The journey of Narashi, Shinrin and Uraika took a total of two years to accomplish, village after village, country after country, nation after nation they travelled, seeking to aide those who needed aid, fended off those who needed fending and gaining new friends along the way. Their final visit saw them go to the Land of Wind and most notably the restored Hidden Sand Village where they met the Kazekage of whom was someone of Narashi's past as well.

"I never really expected you to be Kazekage at your age and at your rank as well… I guess with everything that happened with Takashi it was a real hard time for you guys huh?" Narashi told the Kazekage having been on a tour around the village with him. "It's been a tough road yes Narashi… but thanks to you and Uraika we have been able to restore and give back what was lost… we are forever in your debt." The Kazekage explained. "Don't sweat it Shin'en… we were just doing what was needed to protect the world from danger." Narashi told the male, watching Shin'en raise his hand up as though opting to shake Narashi's hand.

Narashi blinked for a moment but then grinned before taking Shin'en's hand and shook it. "Good luck in your endeavours Shin'en of the Desert." Narashi told the boy of whom smiled. "And good luck to you… as the new Hokage… Narashi Uzumaki." Shin'en responded. "Speaking of… it's about time we head home huh?" Narashi asked Shinrin, who had the two year old Kouji on her shoulders. "Yeah, let's go show Kouji where he lives and start our new lives." Shinrin told her husband, Kouji flailing his arms around.

"Home! Home! We're going home!" Kouji exclaimed. "Yeah, we are son." Narashi chuckled, waving to the Kazekage before he, Shinrin and Kouji proceeded back to the Hidden Leaf. Uraika had gone back to the village about a year ago, leaving the three to themselves, but unbeknowest to them, a masked figure was watching from the distance, the form being female in shape and stature, it revealed itself to be Kepi of the Cheyu Clan. "You speak of your peace… but my peace was taken from me by your hands… Narashi Uzumaki of the Nine-Tails… I will bide my time… but when the time comes… I will take your peace and crush it… mark my words." She muttered, her mask making her voice sound like Takashi's behind his as she vanished in a vortex.

Epilogue

Narashi, Shinrin and Kouji returned to the village where a few weeks after their return, Marakai Hatake finally made the formal announcement of his resignation of being the 11th Hokage and the inauguration of Narashi to be made the 12th Hokage was celebrated a day later. The male sat in his office, looking around at the photos of previous Kage, him now added to the list. The male turned his chair to look at the Hokage faces, seeing his starting to be carved into the rock.

The male smiled proudly at all of this and looked down at a locket of which showed his father and pregnant mother celebrating the near birth of his being. The male smiled warmly, tears running down his face. "Mother… father… I made it…" he told them, closing the locket and wiping away his tears before getting to his feet and walked out of the mansion and went for a walk.

Along the way he was greeted and respected by the villagers and fellow classman of his time. The Uzumaki made his way to the cemetary and went to a certain grave, this being that of Konohamaru's. "Old man… I finally did it… I finally became the Hokage… and found true peace with the world." Narashi told the headstone, crouching down to clean it and place fresh flowers upon it.

"I know you would have loved to have seen it yourself… but I know you are watching over me, telling Mom and Dad all the stories that we shared… rest in peace." Narashi told it again, before standing up, turning to face a figure that was standing before him. "Uraika?" Narashi asked, the Uchiha gesturing behind him. "The Final Valley… you and I… now." Uraika explained, before vanishing.

Narashi blinked for a moment before complying with the males request and made his way to the Final Valley where Uraika was standing atop the water waiting for him. "Took you long enough." Uraika explained, Narashi frowning. "Not like I could just teleport here ya know." Narashi explained, leaping down to be face to face with the male. "So why the visit? So far away too…" Narashi asked, Uraika activating his Sharingan. "You may be Hokage… and you may have accomplished your mission for world peace… but there is one battle you have left unfinished." Uraika explained.

"You may be viewed as the greatest shinobi of all time to the village and the council… but there is one person left unconvinced… that is me… this will be your hardest battle yet… as I don't intend to pull any punches." Uraika explained with a confident grin on his face. "That's right, we never did get to settle our previous fight back when we were Chuunin did we?" Narashi asked, untying his Hokage robe and threw it aside, punching his fist. "Alright! Well if you are coming at me full power then I will do the same!" Narashi shouted, before the two dashed towards each other, the world going white.

Hours passed and after a full fledged battle and much destruction had passed the two males stood before each other, gasping for air, taxed out and damaged greatly. "Another tie is it…?" Uraika asked, gasping heavily while smirking. "I guess so… I guess we are just too evenly matched for one another… you should have gunned for Hokage…" Narashi mused a little. "I'm not… the peoples person like you… the job would have been wasted on me…. Narashi…" Uraika started to say, Narashi looking on.

"I…. want to apologize… for when we were academy students… I always made you mess up… and fail your tests… because I was jealous of your growth and progression… having lost my parents… I vowed to become stronger to take down the person who made my father kill them…but seeing your development… I couldn't live with the idea of someone being stronger than me… so I made sure you sat at the bottom of the barrel… so that I could demotivate you and make you give up your ambitions and dreams… so I could remain on top." Uraika explained, Narashi listening, his face not changing. "I… can't forgive myself for that… and I am sorry it took this long to confess…" Uraika told him, glaring at the ground.

"I forgive you Uraika." Narashi told the male, who glanced up at Narashi in surprise. "If anything… you doing that made me strive to be better so that I wasn't considered an average shinobi… you pushed me if anything else to be better and stronger… so… I should rather be thanking you Uraika… you made me who I am today…" Narashi explained, standing up straight and extended his hand with two fingers out.

"You are too forgiving… and too soft…. But I guess." Uraika muttered, standing up tall and moving his hand out. "I guess that is what liberated me from the darkness and helped me free my people from the clutches of darkness as well… so thank you as well…" Uraika told him, their fingers locking together in the traditional peace shake.

The Shinobi world continued to endure a life of peace for many years… but would that peace continue onward? Well, that could be a tale for another time… the story of Narashi Uzumaki and his friends end today, but the next chapter of the ninja world could be a stones throw away… you never know.

The end. (?)
