[Hello, let's just ignore the fact that I do stuff like this all the time, and put updates in my stories rather than my profile page. Yep, let's just do that. As you all may have noticed, I have been "out of action" for the past 3 (possibly 4) months, and are probably wondering what the hell happened to emo. I'll tell you what, for once, I'm not gonna answer that question. Rather, I'm just gonna say I'm back, and ready to write once I find my timeline...
After looking back at the timeline, I kinda had to ponder whether or not I could really continue writing this under the rating of k+. This chapter has 2 very violent scenes, and even if (and I am doing this) I do add the warning for violence, one of the scenes is extremely gruesome, and would even make me uncomfortable. But, I've been known for "stretching" the rules (word count, actual stories, MA content, spying), and I wonder how much more I can stretch it. Time to test it. -emo]
Warning- Violence, gruesome scenes, death, and spoilers. You have been warned.
Sam felt herself emerge from her Pokeball once again, feeling another year of her life pass by. She had to let her eyes adjust, as she had just awoken from a nap she was having. As her vision came to her, the first thing she looked for was Lucy, knowing that she was the only person who knew the location of her Pokeball. When her eyes landed on Lucy, she had to blink a few times to make sure that she was seeing right. Lucy was wearing a black dress, something that Lucy never did, and she looked devastated. At first, Sam thought selfishly that her "boyfriend" had probably dumped her, or even died. But when she looked deep into Lucy's eyes, she could tell it was something much worse, she had lost something that meant more: her father, David. Sam immediately felt absolute remorse and looked into Lucy's eyes, and let her know she understood. Lucy started to sob, letting all the sadness loose right in front of her own Pokemon. Sam could barely even stand to see Lucy like this, and all anger that she felt towards Lucy vanished. Sam climbed into Lucy's lap, putting her front paws on her chest, and licked the tears away from her cheeks. Lucy put her head up to Sam's and looked into Sam's eyes with sadness and deprivation, but there was a glint of love in it.
"I'm sorry you have to see me this way Sam, it's just so hard on me, he meant so much to me, I-" Sam let her lips connect with Lucy's lips, stopping whatever she was about to say. Lucy looked at her Eevee with surprise, completely caught off guard by this. She knew that it wasn't right to love a Pokemon like this, but... Sam realized what she had done, and pulled away from Lucy, feeling flustered and warm throughout her body. She did not like this feeling and went to hide in her Pokeball. Lucy reached for the Pokeball and stood up, keeping it out of Sam's reach.
"I'm sorry Sam, but I can't let you return." Sam was extremely scared now, thinking that Lucy was going to release her. What Lucy did though, was not what she expected. Lucy opened up the Pokeball as wide as it would go, and she broke it over her knee, splitting her knee open. Lucy winced at the pain but focused on what mattered most to her: her Eevee.
"Sam, I need you. I don't think I can bear it unless you are with me, all the time." A tear fell from Lucy's eye, and Sam understood how much she meant to Lucy. Sam climbed up onto Lucy's shoulder and rubbed her cheek. Lucy smiled and scratched behind her ears.
"Thank you, we have a funeral to attend."
6 hours later-
Sam was happy that she and Lucy no longer had to wear those uncomfortable dresses, and was glad for the attention that she was receiving from Lucy as they walked through the forest.
"Sam, are you feeling alright hun?"
Sam rubbed against Lucy's leg, and Lucy giggled a bit.
Rustle. Both Sam and Lucy jumped at this sound, remembering the events that had happened nearly two years ago. Sam got in-between Lucy's legs and scanned the area. Her eyes landed on a bush, where she could see a Pokemon hiding. Sam crouched down and pounced. The Pokemon was extremely fast, dodging the Eevee's quick attack, but revealing its true identity.
"It's an Absol!" Lucy gasped. Sam was stunned herself, surprised to see such a rare Pokemon far away from its usual home. Sam immediately returned to Lucy, awaiting her instructions of battle.
"Sam, use Swift!" Sam formed stars on her tail and launched them at the Absol. The Absol opened its mouth, forming a dark sphere, and launched it at the stars.
'Shadow Ball,' Sam thought and steeled herself for the attack. The ball broke most of the stars, and hit Sam on the head, making her slide back. The remaining stars hit the Absol, but the Absol shook it off. The blade on Absol's head started to darken, and the Absol rushed Sam.
"Dodge it!" Sam tried to move but felt completely worn out. The Absol hit Sam directly across the stomach and Sam flew back, hitting a tree.
"Oh, my head," Sam moaned. She saw the Absol approach her, ready to slash her again. Sam braced for it and closed her eyes.
"NO!" Sam opened her eyes, shocked to see Lucy in-between the two. The Absol's eyes showed similar shock and tried to cancel the attack, but it was too late. The sound that followed sickened Sam. Lucy fell to her knees, her whole body shaking from the darkness that had entered her body. The Absol was able to catch Lucy.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," the Absol whispered, still very shocked.
"Lucy, no... you have to help her, please," Sam begged. The Absol shook her head.
"I can't do that, they would have me hanged for what I did."
"But she could die!" Sam started to feel a strange sensation near her eyes and saw that the Absol had a glazed look in her eyes
"Okay."
[This scene was so much longer than I had planned it. Also, I so forgot that there are 3 violent scenes (the previous scene counts, Lucy literally splits her knee wide open, plus Absol dun goofed and Night Slashes Lucy (shudders) and opens her straight up.) I got to look at the timeline to figure out what was next. This chapter gonna be a long one. -emo]
Eight years ago:
"Sam, wake up hun." Sam woke up from a very unpleasant dream, feeling very groggy. Sam felt herself being lifted up by something with soft fur.
"What the-" Sam realized she was on the back of a fox.
'Lucy, what is happening?'
'I don't have time to explain, I-' A dark figure slammed into Lucy, knocking Sam off of her. Sam got up quickly and saw a Houndour on top of Lucy, but there was a strange green glint in its eyes. Lucy kicked at the Houndour, but it wouldn't budge. It opened its mouth around Lucy's neck, and stars came crashing down on the Pokemon. Sam turned to see an Eevee, Emo's Eevee, Silver, and saw Emo and Scout running to them.
"Lucy, are you OK?" Lucy got to her feet and nodded. But when she tried to walk, her feet fell from underneath her. Emo quickly opened his backpack and placed both Lucy and Sam inside.
'It's gonna be ok Sam, I swear.'
[Yep, this is officially the longest chapter in this story. There are still multiple events in the flashback, and I swear this chapter might actually type out to be a decently sized chapter in real writing. Don't ask me what the word count will be, this word is probably the 1,000th word by now. Bleep that out, editor. {Editor's note: Done.} Great timing to steal some attention away. I'm having a hilarious problem. We are so far behind schedule on the comic (I had promised Derezzed Studios to post the first chapter of the comic Christmas of LAST year.) It's shocking how patient all the actors are being (especially Big P and my sis.) But I swear on my life, I will not fall out like my idol did (eeveeinheat) I shall write till the day I die. -emo]

Sam laid next to Silver, feeling extremely depressed. She had not seen Lucy in days, and she knew that Silver felt the same way about Emo. The lights flickered for multiple seconds.
"What the hell?" Silver complained. The lights continued to flicker until they turned off. A loud bang echoed through the halls of Team Rocket headquarters. Silver started to whimper, but Sam realized something: the power was off. Sam tried the cell door and it opened.
"Silver, come on." Both Sam and Silver walked cautiously through the halls. It was silent, but then they heard the sound of running feet coming from the left hallway.
"Lucy!"
"Emo!" Both Eevees meet up with their trainers.
"We have to go now. The main generator blew up, some crazy experiment gone wrong, but the building is gonna blow." They all started to run, looking for an exit. They eventually found one, but as they passed the hallway leading to the exit multiple Team Rocket members attacked them. Scout and Emo never saw it happen. Lucy and Sam ran backward, realizing they would have to find a new exit. By this point, the temperature had risen to 100 degrees. They saw another exit and ran for it. The ceiling above the exit fell, leaving only space for a small body. Lucy turned into a fox but forgot about Ruby's Pokeball. A huge eruption sounded behind them, and they could see flames coming their way. Lucy jumped through and Sam almost followed but saw Ruby's Pokeball. She used swift at the last possible second, one star turning it, and another hitting the button to release her. The Absol appeared in front of her, and the last thing she saw was a brick.
-To be continued.
[Sorry, my hands are sore again. This chapter just became a three-part chapter. I need to post this now because the comic group is falling apart. We just lost Tails, who was our artist and played the role of Evans the Sylveon, and we lost Scoutfam, who was... well... Scout. Again, if you want to help us, our Youtube is called The 7th Friend Community, and our Discord is at /5ZjXnVUF. So yeah... -emo]
{Editor's note: Big Chungus is funny.}
