Chapter VI Deku and Pikachu VS Kacchan
Previously on Pokemon Heroes
"The first teams to fight will be..." All Might puts his hands inside of the box of a villain and hero. "These guys!" He showed them the ball of Team D and Team A.
"Team A will be the heroes and Team B will be the villains." All Might spoke up. "Everyone else, head toward the monitor room."
"Good luck, Midoriya-san and Uraraka-san." Ophelia wished them luck before walking away.
"Midoriya-san." Aileen approached the dark-green haired boy. "Don't let the fear stop you from doing this course." She whispered and patting his shoulder. "Ophie, Gallade and I are cheering you guys on the other side."
"Th-thank you, Aileen-chan." Midoriya whispered shyly.
"Keep your head up high." She smiles and walks away.
A small rodent Pokemon with pale yellow fur. Its ear-tips, collar, and tail are black and angular. It's watching far from them and its eyes filled with determination. "I will help Izuku when he's in grave danger." It vowed.
"Bakugou has some history between him and Midoriya-san." Aileen spoke up and crosses her arms. "His rage is unstoppable and no one could stop him from destroying Midoriya-san." She explained in a grim tone.
Midoriya grabs his arm and throws Bakugou over his shoulder. Aileen smiled and proud of Midoriya's action to stop Bakugou attacking. "He finally did it..."
"To overcome his fear and face Bakugou." Gallade finished off Aileen's thought.
"I guess his notes are finally paid off." Ophelia whispered and smirked while watching the screen. "His eyes filled with fear but that won't stop him from fighting Bakugou."
Despite he's terrified, Midoriya won't back down to fight Bakugou because there are other people who put a lot of faith in him. Aileen, Gallade, Ophelia and Uraraka trust him, he would do anything to become a hero.
Bakugou is gritting his teeth angrily. "Even though you're scared... that's what I hate about you!" He growled angrily.
"Hey, Bakugou! Give me your status. What happened?" Iida asked Bakugou through an earpiece.
"Just shut up and defend." Bakugou answered angrily. "I'm really angry right now!"
"I'm not asking about how you feel!" Iida retorted back and it irked him because Bakugou is never a good team player in the beginning. Bakugou had enough of his whining and cutting him off. "Hey!"
|| Monitor Room ||
"What was Bakugou saying? Can't tell with just cameras in a fixed position and no sound." The red-haired boy, Kirishima Eijiro spoke up as he's wearing two gear-shaped shoulder pads, dark red in color, a jagged sash joining the one in his left to the right side of his belt, which has a red "R" set into its center. Below this, he wears baggy black pants and half cape with a ripped hem, also sporting dark red boots, multiple thick rings going around his calves. He leaves his chest bare, and wears a wired guard around his face, reaching from just above his hairline to below his jaw, an extra piece going over the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth which resemble little fangs.
"He's talking to his partner over the small wireless radio." All Might explained and Aileen hums in response while watching the screen. "You can bring that plus the building's floor plan, and this capture tape!" He showed them the small tape in his hand. "Once you wrap this around your opponent, it shows that you've captured them."
"The time limit is 15 minutes, and the heroes don't know where the nuclear weapon is located, right?" Yaoyorozu asked curiously.
"Yes!" All Might answered happily.
"The heroes are clearly at a disadvantage here!" Ashido Mina exclaimed and she's wearing a plain white mask over her eyes, and a purple and turquoise skintight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts. She wears a cropped, sleeveless tan-colored waistcoat with white fur along its collar and leaves it unbuttoned.
"Heroes should be able to turn the tables on whatever predicament they're in." All Might explained. "Besides, didn't Aizawa-sensei tell you, too? You know- here we go-"
"Plus Ultra!" Everyone cheered excluding for Aileen who's busy watching the screen.
"Bakugou is never a team player because his only goal is to defeat- no, destroy Midoriya-san." Aileen explained and all their eyes are on her. "His body language is filled with anger, envy and hatred towards him."
"Do you think they have some sort of history, Sycamore-chan?" Kirishima asked her curiously.
"Yeah." She nodded her head and her eyes widened a bit. "Is that- Pichu?" She whispered the last part and her jaw nearly dropped to see a small rodent Pokemon.
"Did you say something, mademoiselle?" Aoyama asked and leans close to her face.
"Ah! Personal space!" Aileen steps back and startling at the sparkling boy. "I'm just wondering how they're going to get the nuclear weapon." She silently asked Ophelia if she's not the only one to see the tiny mouse Pokemon.
"Gallade and I did." Ophelia answered through her mind.
"How did Pichu came in the Ground Beta without being caught?" Gallade asked curiously.
"I read his mind and Pichu is worried about Midoriya-san. He wanted to help him to achieve his goal." Ophelia answered and stares at the screen. "Pichu and Midoriya-san are closed to each other because he was hatched from the egg."
"Not only the Pokemon disappeared but also a Poke egg?" Aileen asked and masking her facial expression by a blank while watching the screen. "This mission is harder than I expected."
"Shall we confront Midoriya-san after this?" Gallade asked curiously.
"Yeah, we deserve to know the explanation and how he managed to find Pichu." She answered and crossing her arms to watch the scene unfold.
|| Ground Beta ||
"Uraraka, go!" Midoriya yelled and raising his arms to cover his face as he deflects Bakugou's kick.
Uraraka nodded her head and dashed off to find the nuclear weapon.
"Looking away? You must be sure of yourself." He silently gasped to see a tape is wrapping around his leg. "The capture tape-?"
Midoriya analyzes Bakugou moves and remembering his notes he takes, he's going to swing his right arm. The dark-green haired boy dodges it and causes an explosion from Bakugou's arm. His eyes widened to see him is about to use explosives and runs away.
"Come back here, Deku!" Bakugou yelled and gritted his teeth.
Midoriya is running away from Bakugou and he's nearly crash by a small tiny mouse. "Wha- Pi-Pichu-kun!?" He exclaimed and looked surprised to see his friend showed up. "You're not supposed to be here!"
"B-B-but, Izu, I wanted to help too!" Pichu exclaimed and stares at his half-burn mask. "Ah, your mask-"
"Hey! You tricked me, didn't you!?" Bakugou exclaimed angrily and they both flinched by his tone. "Was it fun tricking me all this time!? Huh!? You've got a flashy Quirk there, don't you!?" Pichu's ear dropped and silently whimpered by his tone whereas Midoriya held him to calm the tiny mouse. "Try and get me with it! Cause I'm better than you!"
Midoriya kneels down and patting slightly by the run. He looks down at Pichu. "I don't want you to get hurt, Pichu-kun."
"I-I can fight too!" Pichu exclaimed in a hushed tone and stared at him with determination. "You're my partner and I'll do anything to help you achieve your goal."
"Your electric shock is always out of control whenever you're happy, sad and excited... you always shock us or even shocking yourself." He reminded him.
"I'm in control this time, I promise!" Pichu vowed. "I'm practicing my moves whenever you're busy, Izu."
"Yo-you did?" He stuttered and wasn't expecting Pichu would train by himself when he's not around.
"Yeah." Pichu nodded his head. "Trust me!"
"Pichu-kun..." Midoriya holds back his tears and nodded his head. "Follow my lead, okay?"
"Yeah!"
|| Monitor Room||
"How did the yellow tiny mouse came out of nowhere!?"
"Kaminari, your black bolt style is similar to that mouse's fur!"
"It's so cute!"
Some students are murmuring whereas Gallade, Aileen and Ophelia ignored them whereas All Might is wondering how did his pupil manage to have his own Pokemon.
"This is bad..." Aileen muttered and biting her thumbs nervously. "I'm starting to get nervous about them now."
"Me too." Gallade whispered back. "I hope they're going to be alright despite they may have scrapes and bruises. Pichu tends to shock itself."
"Yeah." Ophelia agreed and her eyes never leave on the screen.
|| Ground Beta ||
"Deku-kun..." Uraraka called Midoriya through an earpiece.
"Uraraka-san! How's it going?" Midoriya asked the short brown-haired girl and Pichu's ear are twitching.
"Iida found me. Sorry!" She apologizes and gulps nervously. "Right now, he's slowly..."
"Where are you?" He looks down at his partner.
"The middle of the fifth floor." Uraraka answered.
Midoriya gasps and looks up the ceiling. "Almost directly above! We probably don't have much time left, either. If we run out of time, our opponents win!" He clenches his hand into fists.
"Izu..." Pichu held his hand. "We're going to pass this!" He declared and his eyes are filled with determination. "I know we will."
"Um... Deku-kun? Who are you with?" Uraraka asked curiously.
"Pi-Pichu-kun is with me and I'll explain later." He stands up and Pichu sits on his shoulder.
"Ah, he's behind us!" Pichu warned and Midoriya froze to see Bakugou.
Bakugou's face looks serious and raising his right hand. "They're loaded."
"Kacchan." Midoriya muttered his name with a worried look.
"Why won't you use your Quirk? Huh, you also have a yellow rodent to help you out?" He asked coldly and Pichu's cheeks are spark with electricity while glaring at him. "Are you saying you can win even if you don't use it? Are you underestimating me, Deku?"
Midoriya is gripping the tape tightly. "I'm not scared of you anymore! This yellow rodent is my friend, Pichu-kun!"
Bakugou is gritting his teeth angrily before he smirked. "With your stalking, you probably already know." He's pointing his arm at them. "But my Quirk, Explosion, let me secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from the sweat glands on the palm of my hand and make it explode." He pulls the trigger from the gauntlet. "If they made this way I asked, then these gauntlets will store the nitroglycerin inside them, and... if I don't hit him, he won't die!"
"Pichu-kun! Counter it with your thunderbolt!" He commands the tiny yellow mouse.
His cheeks are sparks in electricity and jump off from his shoulder. "Izu, hide! Thunder... bolt!" Pichu released a huge amount of electricity and causes a huge explosion to shattered the windows and the whole building shake. It nearly destroyed the whole building and almost forgetting the fact they have an audience watching them on the screen.
"Pichu-kun!" Midoriya exclaimed and feels worried about his friend. Despite his small appearance, he creates a powerful bolt to counter Bakugou's attack. Pichu's body is covered in electricity and pats heavily while glaring at the ash-blond haired boy.
"You pesky rat!" Bakugou glared at the yellow mouse. "You shouldn't intervene and get in my way!"
"If i...t in...volves to Izu, I would help him in every step of the way!" He barred his teeth angrily.
"You're letting your pet to become your knight in shining armor." He glares at them coldly. "No matter. I'll force you to surrender even if you're at full strength, Deku."
"This is bad..." Aileen muttered as she feels worried about Pichu and Midoriya.
Ophelia's secret pocket is shaking and she placed her hands on the right waist to calm one of her Pokemon. "At this rate, Pichu is going to be in danger. Given the powerful thunderbolt, he used just now."
"For someone who's a small and pre-evolve form of Pikachu and Raichu... that kid is either brave or stupid to send that powerful thunderbolt." Gallade whispered and crossing his arms.
"Pichu... is going to evolve sooner than we expected." Ophelia whispered and her eyes flashed purple a while ago before reverting back to her original gold eye.
"I see." Aileen nodded her head and watching the screen.
|| Ground Beta ||
"Hey, hey, what's wrong, Deku and rat?" Bakugou asked them to see they're starting to get tired. "Your pesky rat manages to encounter my attack and can still move, can't you? Come and get me!"
Midoriya noticed Pichu is almost reaching his limits but the yellow mouse still wanted to fight. "Uraraka, what's the situation?" He asked the short brown-haired girl.
"Deku-kun!" Uraraka answered tiredly.
Bakugou clicks his tongue in annoyance. "Ignoring me again? I can't believe him!" He gritted his teeth angrily.
|| Monitor Room ||
"Sensei, you should stop them!" Kirishima exclaimed and starting to feel worried about them. "That Bakugou's really crazy! He's gonna kill them."
"No." All Might answered as he wanted to stop the fight so badly but he couldn't play favoritism in front of them. "Young Bakugou, the next time you use that, I'll stop the fight and your team will lose." He warned the ash-blond boy.
"Huh?"
"To attack and combining young Pichu's electricity on such a large scale inside are inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting." He explained calmly. "That is a foolish plan for both heroes and villains! You will lose a lot of points for it."
|| Ground Beta ||
Midoriya and Pichu ignored Bakugou's growling. "Go to the pillar by the windows! Over and out!" He ordered Uraraka.
"Fine, then!" He uses his explosion to run full speed. "Let's fight it with our fists!"
"Nuzzle!" Pichu runs off and nuzzles on Bakugou's cheek as it causes him to shock and paralyze him temporarily.
"Damn you, pesky rat!" Bakugou gritted his teeth and feel the electricity all over his body.
"Izu, let's go!" Pichu called him. "He won't be paralyzed for long!"
"Ye-yeah!"
|| Monitor Room ||
"What was that move did the yellow mouse pull off?" Ashido asked and they watched Midoriya carried Pichu as they fleed away from him.
"It rubs its cheek against Bakugou to cause him a shock and paralyze." The dual-haired color, Todoroki Shoto, explained calmly as he's wearing a plain off-white shirt with matching pants and boots, with two gold-colored straps going over his shoulders. He has what appears to be a material resembling ice covering his whole left side.
"Who knew that mouse has electricity, that's so manly." Kirishima commented and amazed by the yellow mouse ability.
Ophelia is surprised he managed to figure out Pichu's attack but remained quiet. The blonde girl never expects this boy is sharp to observe his surroundings and ignored them for now. She didn't want to reveal their kin because it's for their own protection. Since Pichu reveals itself out of nowhere, they need to figure out how to hide their identity.
"I believe the yellow mouse Quirk is involved in electricity." Yaoyorozu spoke up. "When it countered Bakugou's attack, it releases a huge amount of electricity. It thinks quickly and paralyzes him before he could land an attack on them."
"To think this little mouse shares similar Quirk as I do." The blonde with a black bolt-haired boy, Kaminari Denki, muttered as he's wearing a plain white shirt, over which he wears an open black jacket with a white lightning pattern across his back, and matching pants with two lines running down his legs. He has a single, square-shaped earphone over his right ear, something resembling a radio antenna sticking out of the top.
Aileen narrowed her eyes and stares at the screen.
|| Ground Beta ||
Pichu is breathing heavily and he's almost reaching his limit. Midoriya bites his lower lips nervously.
"You think paralyzing me would stop me from attacking!?" Bakugou yelled angrily and breaks the paralyze off his body.
"He broke it as if it's nothing!" Midoriya exclaimed and holding Pichu close.
"It's your favorite right swing!" He slams his back and grabbing his arm. "Deku! Rat! You guys are... below me!" Slamming them both on the ground harshly.
"Gah!" Midoriya and Pichu are screaming in pain.
|| Monitor Room ||
Aileen is twitching her right eyebrow and heard bad things about Midoriya. "Keep your thoughts for yourselves!" She raises her voice and water surrounded all over her body in anger. "You guys are giving up for Midoriya-san who stands no chance against Bakugou despite he has a yellow mouse? If you guys are here to pitying someone and lack of faith towards other people... you're more than welcome to walk out the door."
"Young Sycamore-chan!" All Might exclaimed and Aileen glares at the number one hero but he gulps nervously by her anger.
"No. I won't stand here and listen to negative comments to our friend." She quickly deactivates her power. "I know they're going to win the simulation." Aileen declared and turning her back.
Ophelia smiles and nodded her head. "You guys never judge someone too quickly because he might pull us a surprise for this." She spoke up and Galladed nodded his head silently.
|| Ground Beta ||
"Pichu-kun?" Midoriya called him worriedly as they distanced themselves away from Bakugou.
Pichu opened his eyes and gritting his teeth. "I ca...n st...ill fi...ght." He muttered weakly and jumps off Midoriya's arm while his whole body is shaking in pain.
"Why don't you use your Quirk?" Bakugou asked coldly and marched towards him. "Are you underestimating me!?"
"Izu never underestimate you at all!" Pichu exclaimed and his cheeks spark with electricity.
"How the hell did you know, pesky rat!?" He glares at the yellow mouse.
"He always looked up to you and admires you!" He retorted back and glaring at the ash-blond boy. "You bullied him a lot and Izu still think of you as a friend!"
"Pichu-kun..." Midoriya muttered and noticing Pichu's body is starting to glow.
"That's why, that's why... I won't let you bully Izu any longer!" He screamed and his whole body glowed.
"What the fuck!?"
"Pichu-kun!?"
Pichu's appearance completely changed in front of them. He's a short, chubby rodent Pokemon. It is covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back. It has a small mouth, long, pointed ears with black tips, and brown eyes. Each cheek is a red circle that contains a pouch for electricity storage. It has short forearms with five fingers on each paw, and its feet each have three toes. At the base of its lightning bolt-shaped tail is a patch of brown fur.
"You've changed..." Midoriya is amazed to see his partner change his physical appearance.
"The friendship we have with Izu helps me to evolve Pikachu." The yellow mouse explained and he's no longer Pichu but Pikachu as his cheeks spark in electricity.
"Pichu- I mean, Pikachu-kun is right, I never underestimate you, Kacchan." Midoriya answered truthfully.
"You've been like this ever since we were kids..." Bakugou retorted back coldly. "Have you been underestimating me like that since then, you bastard!?"
"That's not it!" Midoriya exclaimed and tears swelled up his eyes. "You're an amazing person, so that's why I want to beat you!" Bakugou clicks his tongue. "I want to win and surpass you, you idiot!"
"Don't look at me like that! You damn nerd!" Bakugou exclaimed as he and Midoriya clashed off.
"Let's go, Uraraka-san and Pikachu-kun!" Midoriya ordered them.
"Okay!" Pikachu and Uraraka answered in sync.
Midoriya's right arm glowed as Pikachu's paw glowed with electricity and Bakugou's arm spark in explosive.
"Detroit... smash!"
"Thunder punch!"
Pikachu and Midoriya lifted their fists up to cause an explosion to break the ceilings up. Bakugou looks speechless to see all the ceilings are completely destroyed by them. "From the start, you were..." He stared at them. "You are underestimating me, aren't you!?"
Pikachu is already passed out from exhaustion as his eyes are twirling from using the last powerful attacks. "I wasn't... going to use it..." Midoriya whispered in a painful tone. "Because I can't use it." Bakugou is surprised to see his arm is completely burned from using Quirk. "Because my body can't handle the impact... Aizawa-sensei said so, too... but... this was all... I could think of."
|| Monitor Room ||
Everyone excluding, Ophelia, Gallade and Aileen are speechless to see Midoriya, Pikachu and Uraraka managed to retrieve the nuclear weapon.
"Hero..." All Might break the silence. "Hero team... wins!"
Aileen noticed Bakugou's priceless expression he gets defeated by his childhood friend simulation. The blue-haired girl wouldn't blame him since Midoriya is full of surprises. It makes her wonder how late Midoriya's Quirk to bloom now and never before. She analyzes Midoriya's Quirk is similar to All Might except he can breaks his bones easily by using Quirk. Aileen is going to find out how his Quirk looks almost related to him.
