Reyna is still on her mission abroad. Thalia is at the apartment with Piper in the morning and Piper comforts Thalia when she broke down talking about Reyna. Then Piper managed to make Thalia to tag with her and Jason for the morning jog, promising her that she and Jason will come to the gym with Thalia. Until they left the apartments, Percy and Annabeth were asleep, together. Then Percy decides to bring Annabeth to the beach.
Chapter 9 – My Seaweed Brain
Annabeth's POV
"So Percy, where are we exactly going?" I asked looking at him.
It's a convertible car, and the roof is folded down. Percy's hair is flowing with the wind in a beautiful way. One hand is on the steering wheel while other hand is resting loosely on the door at his side. He is wearing sunglasses and there is a happy smile gracing his handsome face.

About another 30 minutes in to the drive, we arrived at the sea side.
"Oh I missed this," Percy moaned inhaling a deep breath.
"Miss what?" I asked amused at his antics.
"This, all of this," he said gesturing to the beach.
"So you really like the beach,"
"I love the sea," he said with a wide grin.
"The beach looks crowded," I said looking at the people around us.
"Don't worry about that," he said driving through an entrance of a hotel.
"Welcome to The Atlantice," he said pulling the car to the entrance of the hotel.
"Woah, how did you manage this. I mean this place must be packed with people," I asked while getting off the car with him.
Atlantice is the most luxurious hotel and resort chain along the coast side of America. The place has to be booked out completely in this summer season with people. His father owns it, so perhaps Percy might have asked a favor from his father.
"Why dear Annabeth, I own the Atlantice," he said with a wink. Both of us went inside and he put an arm around my waist.
"What do you mean? Your father owns Atlantice,"
"He gave it to me about a year ago. Now I'm the owner and I manage everything related to the hotel chain. First, dad wanted to know whether I am capable of the responsibility. After one year, I managed to increase the profit by about 10 percent. After that, he gave me the ownership saying he has complete faith on me," he said grinning.
"That's amazing," I said kissing his shoulder.
"Let's go inside," Percy said putting his hand on my back and we both walked in. Percy led me in to the cafeteria, offered me a seat and then both of us sat down. A waiter came to us offering complementary drinks.
"So what do you want to do first? Do you want to eat something, or do you want to go to the beach?" He asked me while sipping his drink.
"Beach first," I said.
"Good choice," he smiled at me. "Just wait for a moment. I'll talk with the receptionist," he stood up and went to the reception. When he was back, I have completed the drink.
"Let's go to the beach babe!" he said with the enthusiasm of a small child. I laughed at him and we walked in to the beach.
Percy led me in to a section of the beach where it is significantly less crowded. At a far end corner of that section, under a shade, there were two beach lounge chairs next to each other, and between them on a small table, there were some drinks, fruits and also some sun creams, I guess.
"Take a seat m'lady," Percy said to me. Laughing at his antics, we both sat down.
Percy took a deep breath and released. "I love the sea," he said to himself.
"I think you have said that couple of times by now," I teased him. He stuck his tongue at me.
Actually this place is really nice. I think this section of the beach is exclusive for some people only. it is not crowded. Most of them are couples and young people. Some of them are sun bathing at the beach. Some are swimming and some are surfing.
"So, is this the job you are going to take under your father? Managing the hotel chain? Is this what are you going to do from next week onwards?" I asked from him.
"No. I do manage the Atlantice. But now Atlantice is completely under my control. I will be working on Atlantice also but what my father wants with me is more than that, I think. You know, he sees me as his successor. So he wants to train me, share his work with me. He is really proud of me of the way I'm handling the Atlantice. He said that he will not stress me with all of his businesses. But he asked me to work with him and learn step by step about the family business," he said.
"You will be great, I know it," I said to him.
"Thanks, how about you? You are going to be working with your mom too," he asked me.
"Yeah, what she is planning for me is the same what your father has planned for you," I smiled. "But my passion is with architecture. Sometimes I hope that I can only work as an architect without doing any business,"
"I understand it," Percy said. "I'm graduated as a Marine Biologist. Sometimes I also hope to pursue a career on that front without the business,"
We stayed in silence for few minutes. Then Percy stood up.
"Let's go for a swim! Do you know how to surf?" he asked with a glint in his eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you!" Percy said cheerfully and walked to get a surfing board for us.
I stood up and looked around. I haven't surfed ever in my entire life. I think I'm going to be get embarrassed in front of Percy. At least there are not lot of people around us.
