The Misadventures of Caulifla and Kale: Episode Twenty (Part Two)- "Truth and Love"
Recap- On Planet Goliath, Smasher and Hit were fighting each other, while Berserker and Kale ran to the orphanage for help. Once they came back with Christine and Sissy, it was too late. Smasher is killed by Hit with a single blow. That causes Berserker's love to improve her power over the loss of her love. Kale joins the fight, as they must snap Hit from his brainwashing. Meanwhile, on Planet Jello, Jacqui was done making the strength enhancer for Caulifla. Due to the long time period for the experiment to be improved, Caulifla impatiently drinks the substance and gets hit by a book called, "Jack and the Space Beanstalk." She goes into a dream, where she has brown rags and climbs up a blue beanstalk. When she got there, Caulifla meets Cloud Cabba and Cloudilia, members of the field of clouds. They head towards the headquarters, hoping to find some answers to Caulifla's problems.
Field of Clouds, Headquarters
Once Cloudilia lands on the near by window of the headquarters, Caulifla and Cloud Cabba get off of her. They walk to the window to see the interior of the building. They can see golden furniture, green curtains, and clean silverware. Caulifla is surprised of how the place looks, but has a familiar feeling. Like she has seen this place before. Before she could think about it, a loud roar occurs from within the headquarters. It causes the building to shake mildly. The team loses balance, but doesn't fall off the window ledge. Cloud Cabba looks in the window once more and sees a giant coming to the window. Caulifla and Cloudilia run to the other side of the window, so that the giant doesn't see them. The giant's hands open the window to let in some air. Afterwards, it leaves. The team runs back in front of the open window. Caulifla was about to go into the building, but Cloud Cabba stops her.
Cloud Cabba: (Grabs Caulifla's hand) Hold on! We can't go in there! Not as long as the giant is still in there!
Caulifla: (Looks at Cloud Cabba) Fine! But how are we suppose to find the answers? The voice said that I need to get the answers, if I climb up the beanstalk. I'm here, so…
Cloudilia: Maybe the voice needs you to go into the building to find your answers. I've heard that the golden goose is the only solution to everyone's problems.
Caulifla: (Looks at Cloudilia with a surprised expression) Golden goose? That's the solution to my questions?
Cloudilia: Yes!
Caulifla: So, I just have to find this golden goose and I can get out of here! No problem!
Cloud Cabba: Okay. Me and Cloudilia won't be coming with you, since we're clouds and might disappear in there. Good luck in finding your answers! (Gives Caulifla the thumbs up)
Cloudilia: (Waves good bye) Bye! It was nice meeting you!
Caulifla: (Smiles) Thanks! (Turns to the window and jumps into the building) Yeah!
Caulifla jumps into the sink, filled with water. She comes out of the water, all wet. She swims to the right side of the sink and gets out. She sees the kitchen counter, having a better look of the place. She thinks that the building feels more like home to her, but those are just feelings of hers. She sees something shiny in the far right of the kitchen, so she runs to it. Since she's an active saiyan, she slides down the broom, lands on the floor, and quickly runs to the direction of the shining light. She need her answers. Even if she has to face the giant on her own, she has to get them. For Kale.
Planet Goliath, Store (Twenty Minutes Later)
Twenty minutes has passed and Berserker and Hit are still fighting each other. Berserker is able to get a few hits on Hit, but they're not able to hurt him completely. He's been dodging the attacks, but is starting to feel tired from it. This isn't like him to be tired from dodging a quick enemy like her. Meanwhile, Christine is looking at Smasher's body, who's lifeless on the ground. She tries to reactivate his heart, but doesn't work. Sissy, who's watching the fight, thinks of a way to help Smasher and Berserker from this assassin. First, she helps Smasher, by telling Christine to move out of the way.
Sissy: (Kneels down near Smasher) Hold on, Smasher. You're going to live! (Puts her hand on top of his chest) (Concentrate! You need to use your power to revive him! You're a good person! You've always have!) (Hand starts to glow)
Christine: Wow! I didn't know that Sissy could do that!
Sissy: Shh! I need to concentrate.
Berserker: (Throws a right punch to Hit's cheek) There! That's for killing Smasher!
Hit: UGH! (Backs up and rubs his cheek) That was a good punch! But...(Gets into fighting position) That's not enough to hurt me!
Berserker: (Charges up) (Kale! You're next!)
Kale: (Okay!)
Berserker: (Charges at Hit, while switching to Kale) Ahh! (Punches Hit in the chest)
Christine: (looks at Hit and Berserker and Kale's fight) I can't believe that Berserker and that assassin are still fighting. I hope that we could do something about it.
Sissy: (Sees Smasher's skin turning back to normal) (Good! He's starting to come back!) Christine! I want you to do something for me! (Looks at Christine)
Christine: (Looks at Sissy) Okay! What do you need?
Sissy: (Looks at Smasher's dent wound starting to heel) I want you to get the needle off of that assassin's neck. If you see it behind his neck, then grab it, while he's distracted.
Christine: Okay! I'll try! (Walks away from Sissy and Smasher)
Sissy: (Looks at Smasher's slow movements) He's starting to feel conscious! Almost there!
While Sissy is reviving Smasher, Christine gets to the farther back of the fight, so that she can get a better shot of getting the needle off of Hit's neck. Kale and Hit fight for five minutes, until Hit is sent flying to a building. Kale thinks that he's done, but is wrong, when Hit flies back to the fighting area with some dust on his coat. He gets back into his fighting position, until he feels a shot of pain up his neck to his head. He falls forward to the ground unconscious. Christine is able to get behind Hit and remove the needle from his neck. Berserker comes out and looks at the unconscious Hit. She later hears a familiar voice behind her. The figure walks close to her, taps her on the shoulder and says…
?: Looks like death isn't ready for me.
Berserker: (Looks at Smasher) S-S-Smasher!
Smasher: Of course it's me. I've never truly die. I was revived by Sissy and I saw you fighting against that assassin. You did your best. (Holds onto Berserker's shoulder) I'm proud of you.
Berserker: (Cries) Thank you! (Hugs Smasher)
Sissy: (Looks at Berserker and Smasher) (Maybe she and him are meant to be together. I should go back home and see my family. Hope that Reia and the children see the letter that I left for them. Good bye...Ally. You're the only friend that I've met on this planet. I'll see you again!) (Smiles, before flying away)
Christine: (Sees Sissy flying away) Sissy seems to be going back home. It was a nice time meeting her and learn that she's not a completely bad person. Hope that she comes back soon. (Looks at Berserker and Smasher, smiling) (Go on! Kiss her!)
Smasher: Berserker...I told you that I'm not a giant. It turns out that I'm a cyraxian like Sissy. That image of the woman dying in the living room and the boy crying? The woman was my mother and the boy was me. Mom died from an assassin and I was the only one that was in the room to see it. I cried over her lost. She was the only woman that showed me love and affection. I turned into my giant form for the first time and had to leave my home to go somewhere. I moved to Sadala, hoping that the planet would accept me. I changed my name to Cebello, so that I can blend in with the civilians. (Looks at Berserker with tears in his eyes) I-I'm a cyraxian and...and...I found my answers to my dreams.
Berserker: (makes a worried expression) Smasher...(Touches Smasher's cheek) I don't care if you're a cyraxian or saiyan. I still love you. Kale might love you, too. But that won't happen, if I'm still out and she's still in my-
Smasher: (Kisses Berserker on the lips) (That's why I'm doing this. So that you and Kale will live in a balance life together. I hope that me and Kale get along like you do to me. I'll be seeing you soon!)
After Smasher kisses Berserker on the lips, the two giants start to glow in color. Berserker is glowing green, while Smasher is glowing white. The light engulfs the area around them, including Christine and Hit. Once the light has disappeared, the giants are gone. The only figures in the spots of the two are one female with her hair all out with red clothing and a male with black, short hair and an average body shape. Smasher removes his lips from Kale and looks at her appearance. She looks more beautiful in her normal form. Kale opens her eyes and sees Smasher's normal form. He looks pretty with those black eyes of his. Kale looks at her own body and realizes that she's back to normal.
Kale: (Smiles) Yeah! I'm back! (Hugs Smasher) Thank you! Thank you so much!
Smasher: (Hugs Kale) You're very welcome!
Hit: (Slowly gets up) Ugh! W-What happened? (Looks at Kale) K-Kale?
Kale: (Looks at Hit) Oh! Hit! You're better?
Hit: Why should I be?
Kale: You did tried to kill me and my new friends. I thought that you might be brainwashed.
Hit: (Eyes narrow) I wouldn't do that, if they're on the list, so no. I wouldn't hurt them.
Kale: Okay! Do you still remember the tournament?
Hit: Of course I do.
Kale: Whew! You're back to normal. What happened to you?
Hit: (Rubs his head) Last time I remember seeing a female figure on an unknown planet and I felt a sharp pain up my neck.
Kale: So you were brainwashed. By who?
Hit: The female figure has a black robe around her body and her eyes were as dark as the deepest of space. Before I was completely brainwashed, she told me to go to Planet Goliath and kill you. Then everything went black.
Kale: That must be the figure in black's master, getting ready to begin her plan. I have to go back to Planet Sadala and warn Cabba and Janet.
Hit: I have a spaceship for you to use. I'll "borrow" a ship from here and get back to work. It's on the right of the city. You'll find it. Thanks for saving me! (Flies to the nearest ships area)
Kale: Thank you! (Looks at Smasher) I guess this is good bye.
Smasher: It is. (Kisses Kale on the cheek) Let's get back together after this is done. Okay?
Kale: (Smiles) Okay! (Kisses Smasher on the cheek) That one is for Berserker. (Blushes)
Smasher: I get it. Now go!
Kale: Okay! (Looks at Christine) Christine. Do you have a string for me to have?
Christine: Sure. (Grabs a piece of string and gives it to Kale) Here!
Kale: (Grabs the string and ties her hair in a ponytail) There! I look more like myself in a ponytail. (Smiles at Smasher and Christine) Bye! See you guys soon! (Flies right)
Smasher and Christine: Good luck!
Kale, now in her normal form again, flies to the ship that Hit used to get here. She thinks of the good times that she has done on her own without Caulifla. She made some friends, went through some challenges, and made amends with her Berserker form. She sees the ship and heads towards it. She goes in, sees the controls and operates it to fly off of the planet. It was fine for her to stay on the planet for safety, but she has to protect her sister in arms from this master. She notices that the ship is off the planet's surface. She drives it to the atmosphere and goes to her destination (Sadala).
Headquarters, Living Room
Caulifla manages to get to the living room without the giant knowing her presence. She sees the shining light on the coffee table, so she uses her climbing skills that she used on the beanstalk. The leg is a bit slippery, but it doesn't stop her from getting to the top. Caulifla sees a nest in the middle of the coffee table and runs to it. The golden goose is almost there. It's lying in it's nest, taking a break. Caulifla jumps in the nest and gets close to the goose.
Caulifla: (Looks at the golden goose) This goose looks larger than I thought! I need to wake it up and ask it to answer my questions.
Golden Goose: (And your questions will be answered!) (Slowly wakes up)
Caulifla: (Sees the goose waking up) Whoa! It heard me!
Golden Goose: (Looks at Caulifla) (Of course I can! I'm the every solution to everyone's problems. I was the one to tell you to climb the beanstalk. You should be thanking me!)
Caulifla: T-Thank you? (Shakes her head) Wait! You have the answers to my questions! So give them to me!
Golden Goose: (I'll do something better! I'll repeat your questions and give you the answers. Is that a much accurate solution to your issue?)
Caulifla: Okay! Hurry! I don't know how long the giant is going to come back!
Golden Goose: (Alright! Your first question is "Why are you here?" You're here, because you need to get stronger. Am I right?)
Caulifla: That's right. I drank Jacqui's prototype strength enhancer and…I felt something hit my head.
Golden Goose: (Alright! Your second question is "Why do you need to get stronger?" You need to get stronger to defeat a terrible threat in your reality. Am I right?)
Caulifla: That's right!
Golden Goose: (Alright! I also feel like you need to get stronger for another reason. Is it to protect you "sister"? Am I right?)
Caulifla: (Looks at the goose with a shocking expression) You mean Kale? That's one more reason that I need to get stronger.
Golden Goose: (Good! I believe that the strength enhancer didn't made you stronger. It showed you a way to get stronger.)
Caulifla: What do you mean?
Golden Goose: (Your final question is "What is my strength enhancer?" Am I right?)
Caulifla: What's my strength enhancer? (Eyes widen) Oh! I get it! It's not the strength enhancer that I need. It's Kale! The fusion! She's always been my strength enhancer all this time. (Looks at the goose with a smile) Thank you for the help! (Feels foot-stomps) Damn! It's the giant!
When Caulifla turns around to see the giant, she's beyond shocked by how it looks. The giant has massive muscles, green, spiky hair, and no pupils in it's eyes. It looks like Kale's Berserker form. Caulifla tries to run away, but the giant grabs onto her. It has her in it's hand and raises it to it's face. Caulifla sees the giant's face, knowing that the entire place is a figment of her dream while being knocked out. The giant opens it's mouth and slowly moves Caulifla to it. She closes her eyes and waits for the worst to come. But the room starts to fade into white again and Caulifla falls into an area of darkness.
Planet Jello, Phatcilia's and Jacqui's House (Basement)
Jacqui continuously shakes Caulifla's body, so that she can wake up. This does work, when Caulifla's eyes begin to open. Jacqui stops shaking her and steps back. Caulifla sees her and Phatcilia on the operating beds. She looks at her body, seeing her normal, colored clothes. She's back to the real world. She looks at Jacqui and prepares her apology to her.
Caulifla: I'm sorry for drinking that substance. I should had waited for it to be completely finished.
Jacqui: That's fine! At least you're fine and I won't have to use the cure to bring you back to consciousness. So...Did the enhancer worked?
Caulifla: No. While I was out, I was in this field of clouds and I saw Cabba as a cloud version of himself and Phatcilia as a cloud version of herself. I went into this giant headquarters and met this golden goose. It told me that Kale is my strength enhancer and found a way to defeat the threat. Me and Kale have to fuse into Kefla!
Jacqui: (Tilts her head) Kefla? What is that?
Caulifla: Kefla is the fusion of me and Kale. If we fuse and defeat the threat, then the universe is saved! I have to go to Planet Goliath or Sadala to get Kale and fuse. Somehow! I don't know if Janet has a fusion device that could do that, but I'm doing it! (Walks to the basement door)
Jacqui: Wait! I do have a fusion device, but I don't know if it could work yet! I can make a few tweaks and once that's done, then you can use it to face the threat!
Caulifla: That seems like an easier way than mine. I'll agree to it! How long is that going to take?
Jacqui: About two days. That's much shorter than the strength enhancer. I'll start on it today and finish it by the following day this week.
Caulifla: Okay! And this time I'm going to wait.
Jacqui: (smiles at Caulifla) Good! (walks to the table)
Phatcilia: (Walks to Caulifla with a sad expression) I-I'm sorry that I threw that book at you. You're not mad. Are you?
Caulifla: (Pats on Phatcilia's stomach) I'm not mad. Thanks for that! I needed the adventure! (Smiles at Phatcilia)
Phatcilia: (Smiles) You're welcome!
Caulifla and Phatcilia go back upstairs, so that Jacqui can concentrate on the fusion device. This is going to be a hard struggle to save the universe from this mysterious threat. Kale is going to Sadala to warn Cabba and Janet of the threat, while Caulifla is going to use Jacqui's fusion device to fuse to Kale to make Kefla. Let's hope that the universe is still in tact during the fight that's going to decides it's fate.
