Thirteen years have passed since the groups adventures. As Alexis is cooking she soon feels someone wrap their arms around her and she quickly turns around holding a knife before her wrist is grabbed.
"Easy now. It's just me." Jonny says as he laughs causing Alexis to sigh in annoyance.
"Jonny Quest. I swear one of these days you're gonna do that and I'm gonna hurt you by accident." Alexis says unamused.
"Aww you wouldn't hurt me. You love me too much." Jonny says as he smiles.
"I do but you are a pain sometimes." Alexis says as Jonny kisses her before pulling away.
"Looks like Reya is having fun with the kids." Jonny says as he sees Dulce's five year old daughter playing with his and Alexis's kids.
"Yeah. Shame Dulce died five years ago after just having Reya. I wish she was still here. She would of loved Caleb and Susan. Hard to believe they'll both be four years old here in a month." Alexis says as she lays her head on Jonny's shoulder.
"Yeah. But now they can grow up having an animal companion that loves and will protect them. Just like Dulce did for you. Susan really looks a lot like you ya know." Jonny says as Alexis looks at him and smirks.
"Yeah I know. Just like she acts like you. But I can't say much. Caleb looks a lot like you but has my personality and abilities." Alexis says as Jonny smiles.
"No matter. They're perfect to me." Jonny says as he wraps his arms around Alexis while she puts her hand on his shoulder.
"They are perfect in every way." Alexis says proudly.
"Mom! Dad! Door!" Caleb shouts as Reya roars lightly.
"We're coming Caleb." Alexis says as she and Hadji come into the living room.
"It's Hadji and Emily. Hey Hadj." Jonny says as he sees Hadji and his wife Emily outside.
"Jonny, Alexis it is good to see you both again." Hadji says as Jonny lets him inside.
"It's good to see you and Emily too." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Well we got a little surprise for you both. Let us introduce you to our new daughter Divya." Hadji says as Emily comes in holding a beautiful new baby girl.
"She's beautiful." Alexis says happily.
"Thank you." Emily says kindly.
"We think so too." Hadji says proudly while Caleb and Susan look at Divya.
"We're glad you guys could come out for dinner today." Jonny says happily.
"Us too. It's been a while since our whole family was under one roof. Just one question. Is Doctor Quest and Race coming?" Hadji asks.
"Mr. Quest will be here in the next hour or so. Race though said something about picking up Jade before he comes." Alexis says as Hadji looks at her confused.
"Wait so he is with speaking with Miss Jade again?" Hadji asks as Jonny chuckles.
"More like dating her now." Jonny says amused.
"Well that's certainly surprising." Hadji says as Emily nods.
"It surprised us too when Mr. Quest told us." Alexis says.
"Mom I'm hungry." Caleb says as he pulls gently on Alexis's sleeve.
"Sorry baby. You'll need to wait until our guests arrive which shouldn't be more than an hour or two more. But how about some cheesy puffs for a snack instead?" Alexis says as she picks up Caleb.
"Me too!" Susan says as she runs over.
"Come on then." Alexis as the group goes into the kitchen.
"It'll be nice to see Race and Doctor Quest again." Hadji says as Alexis gives her kids some cheesy puffs.
"I agree." Alexis says as Emily nods.
"Yeah. Dad has been looking forward to meeting Caleb and Susan." Jonny says as Reya walks into the room.
"He'll be happy to see my new daughter as well." Hadji says.
"Well I won't have to wait any longer to meet the children of my boys." A voice says revealing to be Dr. Quest.
"Dad!" Jonny says happily as he goes over and hugs his father.
"Doctor Quest!" Hadji says happily.
"Wait.. how did you get it in here without us letting you in?" Alexis asks.
"Your lioness let me in. She has her mother's intelligence. Though I would probably up the security still. I can take care of that if you want." Dr. Quest says.
"Noted and please." Alexis says.
"You taught her to open a door?" Emily asks as she looks at Alexis curiously.
"Yeah. I taught her all the tricks Dulce knew." Alexis says proudly.
"Huh.. Smart lion." Emily says.
"Now where are my grand kids? I am very excited to meet them." Dr. Quest says.
"Come on kids. I got someone I want you to meet." Jonny says as he gestures for his kids to come over.
"It's okay. Go on." Alexis says as her kids hesitantly go over to Jonny and Dr. Quest.
"Caleb, Susan I want you to meet your grandfather Doctor Benton Quest. Dad these are our kids. Our son Caleb and daughter Susan." Jonny says proudly.
"And this is my daughter Divya. She was born two weeks ago." Hadji says as he shows Dr. Quest his new daughter.
"They are beautiful boys. They really look a lot like you and your wives." Dr. Quest says as he smiles.
"Thank you Dr. Quest." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Did we miss the party?" A voice asks revealing to be Jade and Race.
"Hi Race, Jade. No you're just in time for dinner." Jonny says as he smiles.
"Good. I'm not sure what's cooking but it smells delicious." Race says as he sniffs the air.
"That would be matzo ball soup, shrimp cocktails and rolls for the appetizers, rack of lamb with ratatouille for the side, and then baked alaska for dessert. We also have sparkling pear punch to drink." Alexis says proudly.
"Sounds good to me." Race says as he smiles.
"I didn't take you for the fancy food type girl." Jade says as Alexis smiles shyly.
"Well I always payed attention when Dr. Quest would cook and I always wrote notes down on it. I guess my personal touches and what I learned from him payed off." Alexis says.
"I'll say. I always enjoy your cooking. Looks delicious." Jonny says as he helps Caleb and Susan into their chairs.
"I agree. Let's eat." Dr. Quest says as everyone then sits down to eat.
