This was beyond exciting to write and create. I wasn't originally planning for my team to be on this mission but there were too many possibilities for it... and I thought it just worked better with them on it. I am having so much fun!

Technically their mission is separate, so keep that in mind. Also they are stronger then Team Seven... mostly due to good teamwork and hard work.

"Miss Mio's been really quiet." Naruto whispered, though his whisper was still almost a yell.

Despite that, Naomi couldn't help but smile at the boy. "That's means there is likely no one around Naruto, that's a good thing." Reaching over she pet her beloved cat a few times, getting a warm purr and cat smile from the dear. "Just keep your ears open for that hiss and watch her body language. Any tensing up or shiftiness means that she might be unsure. Your a smart boy, you'll figure out something's wrong."

Naruto's reply was a radiant smile that cast aside the nasty mist covering the air around them. It didn't matter that it was cold, bitter and unforgiving where they were, Naruto's smile warmed her bitterness easily. It was a strange thing really, she wasn't even sure why she felt so... nice about that smile but she was.

"This Fog's so thick, you can't see anything." Sakura suddenly said.

Naomi nodded, agreeing whole heartedly. "It's not that shocking, this place isn't that far away from the Land of Mist. With the currents and being so close to the Ocean it really isn't that surprising that they have so much damn fog."

There was a lapse in conversation and then the boat man said. " The bridge isn't far now, our destination is just up ahead. The Land of Waves."

Curious, Naomi turned and saw the two jonin teachers walking along side the boat quietly. They realized that the students, except Naruto, simply lacked the reserves to walk across the water for so long so they elected to walk along side it personally. Tazuna had been amazed, as had Team Seven, indicating that they hadn't been taught that simplest of Ninja skills. It was telling and not in a good way.

"Wow!" Naruto all but barked out, drawing Naomi's attention. And she couldn't disagree with him, A massive bridge though incomplete jutted from the water towering above them. It was beautiful in it's simplicity, and the scale was beyond anything she had seen before. To think a mere man like Tazuna, rude and inconsiderate as he was, was responsible for creating such a thing. "It's hu-hmp!" Naruto screamed out, but Yura reached over and put a hand on his mouth.

"Are you trying to get us caught, the point is stealth." She growled out, her tone low and colder then Naomi preferred. "We are going through dense fog, with the engine turned off. You need to use your head, I saw those pranks I know your not that dumb."

'At least she didn't insult him.' Sighing, she leaned towards the boy. " Naruto, remember passion is great but only when used with discretion. Pretend this is a prank and you don't want to get caught."

The now embarrassed boy nodded, looking down.

From the corner of her eye, she saw a smug Sakura looking at Naruto with some disdain and that set her off inside. 'At least he had the guts to go on this mission Miss I wanted to Quit. Far as I remember your Not much better then Naruto at combat and with none of his raw power. Stop judging.'

Turning back to Yura, she smiled at the girl, getting smile and nod in return. She released Naruto and sat back, no judgment on her face. She didn't seem to resent Naruto any, like everyone else seemed to. That was a plus as far as she was concerned. Made her like the amazing girl all the more, which was hard to say.

"Thank you." The boat man said, looking at Naruto with a glare.

"He's just easily excited, that's all. "

""

'I should warn you Kakashi, the girl knows.' It was those words, echoed by Aoba in his mind, that had alerted Kakashi to the intentions behind Naomi's actions. 'She is aware of the Kyuubi and Naruto's part in containing it. From what the Hokage said, she holds that in high regard and has sort of taken the boy under her wing as a result. She hated bullies and abusers, she holds people at a different level... Naruto is in good hands around her. I promise you, she will teach him something. Probably a lot of somethings.'

It was sort of uplifting to Kakashi to hear that, annoying though Naruto was he did not deserve the abuse he had endured for most of his life. No one really did. Still, to think that this Civilian girl knew the truth about Naruto and handled it well enough to be trusted with such information was almost baffling. However what was most confusing to him was how much control the girl seemed to have over Naruto, he just listened to her without question and actually respected her orders without hesitation. He had never seen anything like it, not with Naruto.

The other girls, Ami and Yura, had seemed to taken their own liking to Naruto though not as much as Naomi and her cat Mio had. They still seemed to have sway over the boy... probably as they were at least some of the first people to be nice to the boy.

As sad of a thought as that was to Kakashi.

'Who is this girl to command him to such a degree...? I guess I will just have to see won't I.'

Minutes passed and they all moved through a tunnel, where they arrived free of the Mist and approached a pier. The moment they landed, Tazuna said. "Alright, get me to my home and in one piece."

"Right..." And so they moved as one, a large group of Ninja protecting a single man, towards a forest.

They hadn't made it twenty steps into the forest before Naruto stopped. " Hey, Mio's acting funny."

Immediately the girls on Team Thirteen turned to the cat and their eyes widened. Aoba did the same, looking nervously around for a moment before turning to Kakashi. "Someone's nearby, several someone's I think. The Cat is unsure, look at how she is flicking her gaze between various spots. She can sense chakra remarkably well."

Kakashi nodded, keeping his senses sharper and sharper. So sharp in fact that he heard a tiny whispering like something approaching very fast, rushing past the wind. "Duck!"

Everyone did as he commanded, even Aoba, falling to the ground just as a massive swirling sword flew over head and into a tree. Within less then a second a man appeared ontop of it with a young looking masked ninja appearing right next to him in that very tree. The bigger of the two was massive, with only pants on showing his strong Gai like physique. He was masked like Kakashi was, only with bandages. The smaller Ninja was wearing a Hunter Ninja outfit, complete with a Root like mask.

"It is been a long time since someone had located us like that, Zabuza." The voice came from the smaller of the ninja, and it made Kakashi shudder.

'A child's voice, we are dealing with a prodigy.' Gathering his courage, Kakashi smiled through his mask. "Well well, if it isn't Zabuza Momoichi. Rough Ninja from the Village Hidden in the Mist."

Almost passively, Kakashi turned to stop Naruto only to see the girls from team Thirteen already putting hands on him to stall his movements. "Not now Naruto. " The cat started yowling thing, hissing like she was being electrocuted. " Hush girl, we got it."

" A ninja cat, been a while since I've seen on of them... no wonder you found us." Zabuza's words were practically dripping with sarcasm at this point, mocking them.

Kakashi sighed, feeling how it riled up Naruto but pleased that the girls were holding him back from doing something stupid. "He's in a different league, if he's hear then I'm going to need this." Kakashi peeled off his headband, revealing his Sharingan. He could feel the shock from the kids, and the eye roll from Aoba.

Zabuza made a small chuckle from the back of his throat. "Kakashi of the Sharingan eye. Did I get that right? It's too bad, huh, but you'll have to hand over the old man."

"Now Quick!" Kakashi belted out, hand still on his headband. "Manji Formation, protect the bridge builder and stay out of this fight. I taught you teamwork, now it's time to use it. " He lifted the entire headband revealing scar across it and a deep red eye with three comas inside. "I'm ready."

""

Yura watched as Team Seven refused to fall into a perfect Manji formation. With a only a look her sister disciples obeyed the command Team Seven refused to do. Naomi, the fastest and best of them was in the front. Yura was on the left and Ami on the right. They filled the air with their chakra, waiting for battle to start. Her sensei stood next to Kakashi falling into a low stance that radiated power, familiar power to his students. They were familiar with the potency of the killer intent that began to flood the air and they were ready for it, though from the look of things Team Seven was not.

"Well, it looks like I get to see the sharingan in action. This is an honor." Zabuza seemed smug. "Haku, you take the skinny one. He doens't seem like too much a threat.

The girly sounded one nodded. "Yes, Zabuza."

Then, naturally Naruto started to whine. " Sharingan, Sharingan everyone keeps on saying Sharingan won't someone tell me what Sharignan is?"

"Get in formation Naruto, and the rest of you. You do no explain jutsu in front of your enemies, even if they know about it." Aoba sensei said what Yura wanted to scream, she enjoyed Naruto's cringe. He hesitated for a moment, turning to Naomi who nodded. He flew over next to Naomi, standing with his Kunai at the ready and Mio on his shoulder. The Cat moved over to Naomi, hissing low on her shoulders and glaring hatefully at Zabuza with a demon's wrath.

"Hoho, students that actually obey their teacher, another rarity these days. Very nice. As for you Jonin, in the assignation unit of the Hidden Mist, we had a standing order to destroy on sight. Your profile was in our bingo book. It called you the man who copied over a thousand jutsu. Kakashi the Copy Ninja."

"Wow that so cool!" Naruto bellowed out making Yura roll her eyes.

"I am not sure about you though, Skinny boy..." Zabuza looked at Aoba, curiously though with some dismissal." you do look vaguely familiar... doesn't matter. Enough talking." Zabuza growled out. " I need to exterminate the old man. Now! So I will have to eliminate you first, Huh Kakashi. So be it." In a flash, the man disappeared, sword and all...only to reappear on the water with in arm in front of his face the other in the air. Next to him was his disciple, standing motionlessly next to him. " Ninja art Hidden Mist jutsu!"

In an instant Mist thickened around them, a hundred times more then natural, so thick you couldn't see your nose in front of your face. It was deafening in a visual way, making Yura scream internally. 'If only I had the Byakugan... I could be of some help. The most I can do is use my blade but only barely... I only have a weeks training with it, Against someone like this Zabuza I might as well be waving around a stick.'

Kakashi moved, facing the water. "He'll come after me first. I'm the biggest threat here."

"But, who is?" Sakura asked, her voice shivering as much as her body.

"Zabuza Momichi, the ex leader of the Hidden Mist assassination unit. He is a master of the Silent Killing technique."

"Silent?" Naruto asked.

Naomi answered him, her voice low as she seemed to strain with fear. "Exactally what it sounds like. Killing without warning, anyone who knows the blade knows of it... it is one of the deadliest jutsu with the highest kill count... even the Sharigan or Byakugan cannot completely counter it."

Sakura's teeth chattered. "That's so scary."

Naruto barked out. "The Mist is getting thicker and thicker!"

Tazuna, oddly unafraid, said. " The Land of Waves is surrounded by ocean, a swirling mist are ever present."

"Sensei! "Sakura called out.

"Eight points." Zabuza said, his voice echoing through the mist without direction. " Larnyx, Spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart, Now which will be my kill point."

Suddenly The Mist parted ever so slightly, revealing both Jonin. Yura knew it was their chakra, she could just tell even if she wasn't a sensor.

"Sasuke, calm down." Yura, the closest to Sasuke, turned and realized the boy's eyes were wide and he was shivering with utter terror. He looked ready to pass out or slit his own throat. " I'll protect you with my life, all of you. I will not allow my comrades to die, trust me." There was a release of breathe, as Sasuke calmed down.

Then she heard it, right in the middle of their formation. " I wouldn't be so sure." Zabuza spoke. "It's over." And he was there, standing with his massive blade out.

Without hesitating, she whirled around at top speed, that rivalling that of a rotation, and sent out a palm at the man's knee. He couldn't dodge, even as powerful as he was, and her palm ripped through what felt like... water of all things, making her stumble out of sheer shock. Kakashi appeared then, kunai at the ready looking a little shocked to see her soaking wet and water falling around her in waves.

"Water... a Clone but I-" He let out a gasp as Zabuza's sword carved through him.

"The hell!" She screamed, just as Kakashi's remains burst into water and a second Kakashi stood behind the Real Zabuza.

"Don't move, now it's over. " Kakashi's voice pierced the Mist and she watched as he put a Kunai to Zabuza's throat.

'Where's Aoba sensei? I haven't seen him since Zabuza appeared and I cannot hear anything...' Panic filled her soul at that idea and she pushed as hard as she could, whirling her head around in a desperate attempt to find her sensei.

Something in her mind shattered in the moment and suddenly she felt very far away, her the Mist a blue veil of firey energy. In the center of it was her teacher, covered in Senbon and fighting hard against the Smaller enemy Ninja. He seemed to be breathing hard, his hands shaking. The enemy ninja's was a blur of speed, vanishing in and around the Mist at blinding speed, peppering more and more Senbon at her teacher.

"Watch out, Aoba he's behind you!" She screamed out, and somehow her words meant something as her teacher let go of his chakra, falling through the water just as the senbon flew over him. He shushined away, appearing behind the enemy ninja to deliver a hard kick that was easily blocked.

The Mist parted suddenly and Yura saw Kakashi and Zabuza next to each other, with Kakashi in a round dome of water filled with chakra...

The shock was too much for her teacher, who turned in shock to see Kakashi's predicament and was thrown by the enemy Ninja. Growling a little, Aoba ran through a few hand motions, and suddenly a million glowing crows filled the air, each lacking a chakra network. The flew everywhere, cawing and screeching. The young Enemy Ninja threw himself back in confusion but Zabuza just frowned.

" What a pestering technique. Their no different then clones, ignore then Haku."

"Yes sir."

Turning to her sisters, Yura saw them frowning with rage. They too were pissed.

Leaning towards them, she whispered. " We need to save Kakashi... formation Crows Descent?"

They both nodded. "Let's do this."

Unfortunately Zabuza took the chance to monologue. " You think wearing a head band makes you a ninja... when you've hovered between life and death so many times it doesn't faze you then you may be called a Ninja. When you've become so deadly your profile is entered into my bingo book, then you may be called a ninja. But to call upstarts like you Ninja is a joke."

Naruto, like an idiot, charged forward but within seconds he went flying before anyone could react, flying from a harsh kick to his face.

Sasuke charged forward next, tossing Shuriken at Zabuza, moving at great speeds. Even as he leaped into the air, calling out, it was clear that Zabuza's clone was almost bored. "Too easy." He tossed Sasuke like a rag doll, so hard she almost felt the blow.

"NOW!" The girls charged as one, moving with flawless teamwork.

Naomi, the fastest, reached the first clone and ducked under it's heavy kick. She punched it in the balls hard, dispelling it on contact. Ami was next, shooting up with an uppercut, shifting at the last moment to create a massive fist clocking a clone that just stepped back, dispelling it quickly. Yura, with speeds only a Hyuuga could do, let out three perfect strikes dispelling two clones at once.

The rest of the clones stopped, looking at them with an impressed look. "Much better... much much better then the others."

'Not that hard, they just flew at him with no plan.' She didn't linger long, and neither did her sisters. They charged their legs with chakra and shot off at top speed, reaching the remaining clones in a second. Both clones lashed out, one with a kick and the other with an angry but sloppy fist. He was still underestimating them, perfect. They needed that.

Naomi was in front, ducking under both strikes and falling to her knees just in time for the slower Ami to step on her back and activate her Human Boulder Jutsu. The, Yura, with a chakra enhanced foot, kicked her friend hard, sending her skyward and over the clones. She eclipsed the sun for a moment before falling back to earth, rotating at incredible speeds, speeds enhanced by gravity.

"Human Boulder- Crow's descent!"

The real Zabuza and his clones only had time to gap at her in shock before the main Zabuza leapt backwards to avoid being shredded into nothing, freeing Kakashi from his watery prison. Ami shot after the real Zabuza, and the man just lashed out with a harsh kick that sent her flying back to shore, falling out of her human boulder jutsu where she landed in a painful puddle of agony, groaning and holding her stomach in pain.

Yura didn't wait, and lashed out, dispelling the water clones with two well aimed strikes while they were still distracted. Then Naomi, the only one with medical training, shot over to their friend and quickly examined her.

A massive surge of water distracted them all, even Yura, and she watched as both Zabuza and Haku went flying into the trees. Kakashi and Aoba, both panting slowly with low chakra levels. Too low... Still they shot towards their fallen enemies with Kunai's drawn. Haku, the less injured apparently, sent a flurry of Senbon their way but both men dodged with ease... still it was enough time for her to grab her ally and vanish in a swirl of chakra and wind.

Yura hurried over to the teachers, leaning against Kakashi who stared at her in shock. "Your chakra levels are dangerously low. Your going to pass out."

He chuckled. "I guess with your new Byakugan, you'd know huh... " And then he collapsed against her, barely held up by her tiny frame.

"Kakashi... over did it." Sighing, her sensei approached her and grabbed the man. "I'm not much better, that kid was incredible. So fast and a monster in the Mist... thanks for the yell, I would have been dead if you didn't tell me about that back attack." Her sensei smiled at her with pride.

"Thank you... um... I can't believe I have my byakugan..." She blinked, feeling the strain of chakra in her eyes suddenly fade away. " That was incredible... I never thought I'd get it. I thought I was too far from the main line."

Her sensei laughed. "So did I to be honest, glad we were both wrong... now let's get back to the others, then you can tell me all about that Crow's descent thing. I didn't teach you that."

She laughed too. " No, we made it up when we were trying to figure out how to beat you... I'll show you the memory later."

And with that, they hurried over to their teammates, where a frantic Naomi was working over Ami. She must have sensed Yura's presence. " She has cracked ribs and I think some internal bleeding. That kick was fierce... I can bandage her up but she needs time to heal."

"My house is close, we can do it there." Tazuna said, looking at them with a pained expression. "Least I can do really..."

"Let's go then. Team Seven, help me lift Ami."

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was so much fun, like epically exciting... I like the inspiration from Ino Shika Cho that made this possible.

Love, your Ninja Overlord,

Mika.
