Kelly Does Writing: I see you're slowly making your way up the ladder. Well I think I should inform you that this is an AU where Revenge of the Island never happens, so Cameron, Mike, Zoey, and Lightning all have a chance to win. Well, not Cameron because he's eliminated.

Gman5846: I would assume you did because I've seen that you ship it before. Thank you!

AnonBrowser: Fun fact: that's actually the way he was originally supposed to go, but I wanted to make it more interesting. And yep, that's Lightning for ya!

Masters of Disasters

This product is not official, so I would say to watch Total Drama on Netflix, but they might take it off soon so whatever.

"Last time, on Total Drama Action!" Chris announced. "Jo's threatening stance and nature has been whipping Sam into shape, while it was because of his crush that cheated the Grips into victory." Clips of Sam and Jo's workout session in the beginning played, while Dakota scaring Mike and Zoey with the chainsaw was also displayed. "Zoey and B surprised everybody by taking charge in the challenge, but it was all Mike's fault that they lost." The clips of Zoey and B leading the team in the tent section of the challenge was played, and the mystery figure destroying the ghost meter was also shown. "How will the contestants deal with the most brutal challenge yet? Are Mike and Zoey really gonna stay as just being friends? Find out here on another thrilling episode of:

Total!

Drama!

Action!"

(Cue intro)

At the craft service tent, Jo stuck a spoon into a gross bowl of gruel, a bug could be seen crawling around in it. She was hesitating on taking a bite. She looked over at Sam, who was also hesitating, but managed to eat it anyway. "Gross Game Guy! How do you manage?"

Sam just shrugged. "I've sorta lost my sense of taste over the course of these levels. The food is just so bad."

The tomboy sighed. "Yeah, I could see that." She said blankly. A loud sense of arguing could be heard outside, Jo got up out of her seat. "What is all that racket?" She was about to leave, but turned around beforehand. "Oh, teammates, you wouldn't want to come with me would you?"

Mike and Zoey looked oddly at each other. "No thankyou, but thanks for the offer." Zoey said.

Jo breathed a sigh of relief. "Ok, just wondering." After stepping outside, it was seen that Brick and Scott were in the middle of an argument.

"And another thing: Dawn told me that you weren't even trying to scare them, what was that about?" Brick asked the dirt farmer.

"She could sense me coming, it's not my fault she was spoiling it." Scott replied.

"Hey! Why are you guys arguing so loud?!" Jo demanded an answer.

Brick sighed. "Well I'm trying to tell Scott about what he did wrong in the challenge, but he's not listening."

Jo cracked up. "Well duh, you're the least threatening person here."

"Hey! My goal is not to be threatening, it's to be in charge of my team and make sure everybody is pulling their weight!" The team leader explained.

"Yeah, and how is that going?" The tomboy taunted.

While the argument continued, Scott had gone into the craft service tent and ate some food, watching the fight like a movie. "Good stuff huh?" He asked Sam, who was also watching the scene unfold.

In the craft services tent, a few people had left to watch the fight, but few had stayed. "Sounds brutal." Mike commented. "Doesn't exactly bring back good memories."

"You know? It would be cool if my girlfriend was here to sort them out." Lightning said.

Mike and Zoey looked at the jock oddly. "Your what?" They asked at the same time.

"Come on! Everybody knows Lightning and Anne Maria are totally together now!" The jock bragged. "We totally made out in the horror challenge."

"Well yeah, that was part of the challenge." Mike said. "Me and Zoey almost kissed, but that doesn't mean we like each other that way."

"Yeah…" Zoey said. "Right…"

XXX

"Oh they do not call the Lightning crazy!" Lightning slammed his fist in the makeup confessional. "Lightning knows when a girl likes him! Anyone who calls Lightning crazy is the real crazy person!"

XXX

"I've been having weird thoughts about Mike lately after the horror challenge." Zoey said. "Last night, I dreamt that I DID kiss him on that couch!" She fake laughs. "Weird to think of a friend that way, I know."

XXX

Lightning stormed out of the room, leaving to go find Anne Maria. "Oh hey, bendy straws! These are lucky to me!" Mike said, grabbing a handful of them.

"Hey hey all! Dakota's back from talking to the higher ups! They threatened to fire me so don't expect that to happen again!" Dakota announced, trying to act fashionable as she made her grand entrance.

"Hey Dakota! Nice to see you back!" Sam said.

"Hey Sam!" Dakota waved, letting her teeth show in her smile. It didn't do well though, because she was shoved out of the way by Chris.

"Alright, enough with the grand premiere!" Chris said angrily. "I'd say you guys should've packed snacks, but you probably won't be holding onto it much longer." Chris laughs at that threatening comment.

"What torture did you concoct for us today?" Sam asked.

"Oh nothing, just some, hey wait where is everybody?" Chris asked.

"They're all letting anger solve their problems, I wish they didn't do that." Dawn said.

"Alright, we'll tell them if they don't meet me in the middle of the film lot by lunch, then they'll have a penalty!" Chris threatened, he left the tent, presumably to the destination.

/

The two teams have followed Chris to the destination they described, Chris was in the middle of explaining the challenge. "Today's challenge is disaster themed. You know, like the disaster movie flics?" A b-roll played, which showed Dakota running away from something as Chris narrated over it. "People running for their lives from volcanoes, earthquakes, asteroids, tidal waves, you know the ones." Dakota was shown dodging all of the mentioned, finally falling at the last tidal wave. "The more disastrous, the better." The nine teenagers looked nervous about what they were about to compete for.

XXX

"Oh come on, I just finished ma tan!" Anne Maria complained. "I can't have it smudged in this challenge." She pulled out a hair spray bottle and sprayed it on her face."

XXX

"Your first challenge is the earthquake of inevitable pain!" Chris announced, showing off a large road with many different obstacles on it. "Each obstacle will challenge your dexterity, movability, and other mad monkey skills. At the top of the hill, Dakota was standing on a ladder, struggling to pick up a block of cement. Chef was there too, rolling his eyes. "First team to the top wins."

XXX

Three confessionals were shown off side by side, featuring Jo, Lightning, and Brick. "Luckily, I have all three." They all said at once.

XXX

"On your marks, get set, action!" Chris said, blowing a loud air horn.

The contestants got moving quickly, and it seemed easy enough. "Ah ha, this is not a challenge at all!" Mike said, who was already in the form of Svetlana.

"Are you ready to rock!" Chris yelled, turning a lever on his control pad that made the road start to rumble.

Brick was shown helping Dawn and Anne Maria up the monkey bars, Chef was watching them from above. "Hey blonde girl!" He yelled at Dakota. "This is the perfect time for you to get rid of some old junk!" He reached into a bag and pulled up a football, throwing it directly at Dawn and Anne Maria.

"Ow! My tan!" The jersey girl yelled.

Chef and Dakota were blindly throwing objects, and lots were directed at Scott. "Hey! Throw somewhere else you loonies!" A rubber ducky hit Scott in the face, causing him to let go of the monkey bars. "Woah!"

Suddenly, his hand was grabbed onto by Brick. "A good soldier never leaves a man behind!" Brick said, holding onto Scott.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Scott mumbled.

Chris turned the lever off for a moment, a few contestants breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally, a break." Zoey said.

"Aftershock!" Chris yelled out, pulling the lever again. Several others started to tumble down the road. Sam fell down to the halfway point, where he stopped.

"Well, I've done what I've had to do, goodnight everybody." The couch potato said, right before Lightning came crashing into him.

"Oh, I almost forgot about the lava!" Chris said, he pressed a button on the control pad, and lava began leaking out from the top.

Dakota put her fingers in the lava, and put it in her mouth. "Tomato soup?" She asked herself.

"Hey Chris. That stuff was supposed to be for lunch!" Chef yelled. While the lava dripped down, Brick was keeping his teammate close by on the monkey bars, while Jo, Svetlana, and Zoey were on top of the other set. Lightning and Sam huddled together in fear.

"You know what this batch needs? Some hail!" Chris announced. "Hail sized golf balls may be bad, but golf ball sized hail is even worse!" Chris grabbed a hold of a gun and started firing. Zoey dodged two of them, but was knocked off the monkey bars on the third. "Hey I got one!" Chris cheers.

"Don't get cocky man." Chef Hatchet told the host.

XXX

Scott has several red spots all over his body. "This is nothing compared to what happens on the farm." Scott bragged, before moaning from the pain a second later.

XXX

"After after shock!" Chris called out, pressing yet another button. This time, parts of the road were being removed.

Anne Maria fell into a hole, but was saved by Lightning. "No need to fear, Lightning is here!" Lightning then fell into the hole himself. "Uh oh, don't worry, we can still get out." Scott tan up and attempted to pull the two out, but was obviously stalling. "Hurry dude, they're starting to win!"

/

At the top of the road, the Killer Grips were making steady progress, but they kept having to stall and help Sam up. "Guys, just let me go! I'm only slowing you down!"

Jo hesitated. "Are you sure?"

"Just go!" Sam yelled again. He was pelted by so many golf balls.

"Four!" Chris yelled. "Uh oh, I'm gonna need a refill Chef."

"What? The wave is over?" Sam said to himself. He quickly started to make a b-line for the rest of his teammates.

"Dakota! You better do something!" Chris yelled with his megaphone. Dakota panicked, and started to blindly throw objects towards the nine runners.

/

People were hit with objects, being stalled over and over, it was a closer race than before. Dakota pulled a large book out of the bag. "Norbert Hatchet's autobiography?" She read.

Sam and Jo made it to a large wall that needed to be climbed over. "Hey, you should go first." Sam said.

"No please, you sacrificed yourself." Jo insisted.

"Well ladies first you know?" Sam countered.

Jo looked angry now. "Just get up the wall." She said with a side of salt.

After a little bit of reading the book, Dakota just shrugged and threw it. This was a big mistake. As Jo helped Sam climb up the wall, Sam saw the book incoming. "Wait wait stop!" He yelled, but it was too late. Sam was hit square in the jaw, and fell all the way back to the monkey bars.

"Holy crap!" Jo yelled, running all the way to Sam's side.

XXX

"Did I actually break Sam's jaw?" Dakota panicked. "What is this feeling? Is it guilt? Because I don't like it!"

XXX

"Sam!" Dakota yelled, running up to the gamer. Several other crew members, medical staff, and even Brick came up to him too. "Sam I'm so sorry, it's all my fault!"

"No, you're fine. It could've happened to anybody." He told her, not wanting Dakota to feel bad.

"Chris, aren't you going to do something about the challenge?" Dawn asked.

"Yeah yeah just a minute, let's get this shot in." Chris ignored the girl. "Well hey, good news is that Sam doesn't get to press charges as long as he lets his team win." The Killer Grips let out some sort of half cheer at the news.

"Well, that seems fair." Dawn noted.

"That's total booy! They didn't even complete the challenge!" Anne Maria yelled.

"Yeah, what she said." Lightning backed her up.

"Sorry guys but serious injury trumps all, but don't try and play that card again, it's not exactly going to work out." Chris explained.

"We'll come on guys, let the man live." Scott argued.

/

The scene was interrupted by the sound of an ambulance, they loaded up Sam into a bed and carried him off. "The wounded Sam, what will become of him? Stay tuned to find out." Chris faded off, the other contestants looking grumpy at Chris for continuing the challenge.

(Cue add break)

/

Now, the contestants sans Sam were beside a body of water, where a very large submarine was floating above. "How's Sam doing?" Brick asked.

"Doctors say that Sam is fine, he'll be back before the next challenge, good as new!" Chris told the eight contestants.

XXX

"He better." Jo mumbled.

XXX

"Enough of that, because it's time for your second challenge!" Chris announced. "Who's excited?" Not a single person was, except some crickets. "Because of Sam's epic victory, the Killer Grips get this awesome piece of paper." He folded the paper into a paper airplane, which Mike caught. "Alright, now get in the tin can!" Chris yelled.

/

Everybody was now inside their respective rooms, and the Grips clearly had it more spacious than the Gaffers did. "I don't like the energy surrounding this room." Dawn examined. "Not one little bit." An alarm siren began to go off, making everybody freak out.

"Hey contestants, if you can hear me, just know that it's too late." Chris said over the intercoms.

"Too late? Too late for what?" Brick asked.

"Oh nothing, but you'll find out." Chris told them, Dakota was watching from the camera room nervously.

"Pick up four, and change the color to blue." Chef Hatchet layer down an uno card.

Chris looked at his deck as Dakota drew four cards. "Dang it, I don't have any blues." He grumbled. "Oh Chef, please crank that lever."

Chef did as he was told, and water started pouring down from the submarine, slowly flooding the place. "Sha-ew, what is this stuff?" Lightning complained.

"It's obviously water doofus." Scott insulted.

"Hey, what are you calling a doofus?" The jock asked.

/

"It's so dark in here that I can't see anything!" Jo complained.

"No worries." Mike said. "I have my trusty fedora, Manitoba will get us out of here in no time!" He put the hat on, Mike gasped and turned into what was presumably Manitoba.

"Good day lass, I see we're in a bit of a sticky situation." Manitoba observed. "Ah, here we go!" Manitoba dug into a box, and pulled out three flashlights. "This shall do nicely! Get to work."

/

After a little while of searching, Brick pointed his flashlight towards the top of the submarine. "Look! A way out!"

Dawn shines her flashlight to the bottom of the submarine. "This one has more positive energy surrounding it, let's try it!"

/

"Well, this one is closer, we should try it first." Jo commanded.

"It looks like we need a combination to open it." Zoey observed. "Sound familiar?" She asked Manitoba. Manitoba just scratched his head for a little bit, before Zoey just took the note from his pocket.

"Crickey! How did that get there?"

/

While the water continued to rise, Scott had his head under the water trying to pick the lock. "Coke on dude! You're taking forever!" Lightning complained.

"Hey! Why don't you try and pick a lock?" Scott yelled.

Anne Maria huffed. "Come on, it doesn't even look like you're trying at all."

"Yeah! My girlfriend is right!" Lightning complimented.

"Excuse me?" Anne Maria asked.

/

Manitoba came back up for air after some time underwater. "It's not fast enough, I need more time!"

Jo shines the light above. "Maybe we can boost each other up to the top?" Jo held out her hand, which Manitoba stepped onto, so Zoey can then climb them both.

"Uh oh, we aren't tall enough. Woah!" Zoey fell, causing everybody to fall into the water.

/

"Baby I'm telling you, that was only part of the challenge!" Anne Maria insisted.

"We kissed though! I know you liked me!" Lightning argued.

Brick, Dawn, and Scott just watched the argument unfold. "We're close enough to the top now that we can try and open it." Brick just said.

"Alright, let me help you with that." Dawn said, they tried to open the hatch, which had a shark come out of it. The duo quickly closed the hatch. Scott looked like he had just seen a ghost.

/

In the camera room, Dakota was looking more nervous. "That water is getting kinda high, don't you think we should end the challenge?"

Chris winced. "I think she might be right, wanna try and drain the water? Those kids are terrible swimmers."

Chef rolled his eyes. "Alright fine." Chef pulled on the lever, but it broke off.

"Gah!" Chris yelled. "We already had a potential lawsuit on our hands! We need to get the cast out of those tubes!"

/

"This is gonna be the end." Zoey said. "Like, the actual end, and I don't wanna die." Zoey started to tear up.

Suddenly, Manitoba realized something. "Wow! Thanks for the tip Mikey!" Manitoba pulled out the straws from his pockets. "Quick lass, help me make a snorkel!" Jo and Zoey grabbed a few straws, and stuck them together in Manitoba's mouth as he slowly sunk below the water.

/

In the camera room, Chris watched nervously. "Great! Manitoba will solve the puzzle and drain both of the rooms, and I'll still have my paycheck!"

/

A montage started of Manitoba trying to figure out the lock, the water rising, and Chris chewing his fingernails off. At last, Manitoba opened the hatch, and the water began to drain. "Yes! He did it! The show airs for another day!" Chris cheered, Dakota clapped with him.

/

"Well, exciting day huh?" Chris asked. Everybody was gathered around a fireplace with towels on. "Which means another great win for the Killer Grips." Even though they won, the Grips still scowled at Chris. "You guys have just won an all expenses paid trip to Beautiful British Columbia! That's right, you'll be spending a night at the luxurious inn, on top of the volcano! A little lodge on the top of an active volcano on Vancouver island!" Chris explained, despite the danger, the Killer Grips seemed somewhat excited. "To get there, you'll be having an eight day hike on the grand-"

"No thankyou!" Jo yelled. "Can we just spend the night in one of your million hotels?"

XXX

"There's no way they would've actually made us drown in season one!" Zoey exclaimed. "Did the producers lose their minds?"

XXX

"I know I don't get along with my personalities all the time, but I'm really glad they came through for me today." Mike explained.

XXX

In a luxury mansion, the three Killer Grips huddled together on a couch, watching some kind of TV show. They all clicked their soda bottles together, and drank it, watching their show in peace. Over by the door, Chris rolled in Sam on a wheelchair. "Here's the deal, you can have Dakota stay with you guys here, as long as you promise not to sue."

"Promise." Sam attempted to say.

"That's a real promise right? You don't have your fingers crossed?" Chris asked, Sam just shook his head. "Alright, that's good." Chef Hatchet rolled Sam over to the rest of his teammates. "Well that wraps up another exciting episode of Total Drama Action, what awaits for our team's next time? I'm your host, Chris McLean asking you to tune in, turn on, and find out right here, on:

Total!

Action!"

/

In the hotel, it was night now. Mike and Zoey were sleeping on the couch together, when for a second, Zoey shifted in bed for a little to position herself comfortably on Mike's chest.

Author's note:

I'm zooming through these episodes to make up for that very long break between chapter 7 and 8. Also, we finally reached the double digits, which is nice. About the episode, Manitoba is introduced again, he currently plays the biggest roles in terms of Mike's MPD. Keyword: currently. Also there's the mirrored canon plot line of Sam breaking his jaw, which is unfortunate for him, even though it doesn't have as big of an impact as it would for Owen. Also I like the beginning section of this chapter a lot, I don't really know what to say past this though.
