The sun rose steadily in the sky. When it rose, it's light hit everything within its sight. Unfortunately, nature changed its course. Unlike the sunny days they have experienced since they arrived in the city, the clouds rolled in. Soon the beautiful golden rays were engulfed by thick grey. Then there was rain.
After a night of packing and hanging out with friends, it was finally time for Suki and Trollex to leave Cuidade Do Samba. The rain encouraged Suki to stay. She really wanted to stay. Her new friends here were precious, she loved their way of life, food, their music, and the Samba trolls were so welcoming. Who knows how the trolls of Dragon Hollow will be?
She had to, though. She had to. She had to go back to Pop Village. It was her home. Suki had a very discouraging thought roaming her mind. The 'My friends probably didn't notice I left's thought'.
Trollex had different thoughts on the subject. He was a king. Right now, his kingdom was kingless. His return was important. He was eager to go home.
He knew it was going to take a while to get there, but he had to get there. Every step brought him closer to his nearly impossible goal. Trollex knew he just had to keep going. He'll find a way to keep in touch. The people of the city of Samba will always be in his memory.
First, they had showered. Dulce had given Suki back her pirate outfit. This time it was nice and clean. Suki easily slipped on her boots and her jacket. She was all set after that.
Trollex met Suki at the front door. He didn't need much maintenance before the trip. However, he did have a pack full of supplies. He greeted Suki with a chipper expression while she looked excited, yet somber.
Diogo walked over to the both of them with a sad smile. "I'm going to miss you guys." He nearly squeezed Suki to death in a hug.
She tensed at his heavy grip. "I-I'll...miss you too...Diogo…" Suki tried to get out with a small smile.
Diogo released Suki then patted Trollex on the back. "Send us a postcard or a letter or something, sim?" He tilted his head with a smile.
While Suki caught her breath, Trollex nodded happily. "Of course. We'll find a way to keep in touch." He offered Diogo a fist bump which Diogo greatly accepted.
When Suki finally did catch her breath, she looked around before tilting her head.
"Looking for someone?" Dulce asked, walking up to the pink troll.
Suki snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh! Um…" She tapped her chin, trying to think of the right thing to say in their language. "Onde está Lukas?" She asked with a small smile.
Dulce smiled brighter at that. "You're improving. To answer your question, Lukas has been called off to the side for a moment. He said it would be brief. He really wanted to see you all off." She calmly placed a hand on her hip. "Until we meet again, Fuzzy."
Suki smiled in return. "Catch you on the flip side, Feathers." She said this before heading to where Trollex was.
Dulce offered her one last smile before heading deeper into her home.
Suki looked back at Dulce's leaving form...before sighing.
Trollex stood before the wide open, grand front door. He wore a calm expression as he stared at the rain outside. Even though it was not the ocean, he seemed to appreciate the large amount of water. It had been a while since he had been submerged in it. He still looked eager to wander around in it. He barely noticed when Suki walked up beside him.
The hot pink troll glanced up at the taller dark blue troll. Suki noticed how Trollex seemed...calmer. Her eyes scanned his body once again. This time she didn't inspect him, this time she imagined she was in his shoes. She imagined she was the aquatic one. The one that lived in water everyday.
Suki turned her gaze outside towards the rain. "...It's no fun being on land all the time, huh?" She said, keeping her attention outdoors.
Trollex snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at her. "Oh, hi. I was just thinking. Being on land is...fun. It's just dry and very different." He glanced down at her before looking back up.
Suki tilted her head with an expression of amusement. "So, you don't miss the ocean at all?" She playfully folded her arms.
The glowing troll chuckled. "Now, I didn't say that." Trollex looked down at Suki while she laughed a bit.
After a second he continued. "The water temperature is great where I live, especially this time of year. The people are great. The city glows at night, but sparkles during the day."
Suki listened intently as he continued to talk about his home.
"I have my home. It's beautiful." Trollex smiled brightly at the thought.
Suki rolled her eyes at that. "Of course it is. You're a king." She absentmindedly stepped closer to him.
Trollex chuckled, not minding her closeness. "That's true. Well, then there's the castle staff. They are hardworking and loyal. Sir Spinyurchin is one of my closest staff members. He's like a father to me. Then there's my best friend Beat Drop Button. I miss that little guy." His smile dropped slowly. "I'm sure they are all worried sick."
Suki, instead of speaking, placed a hand on his shoulder.
At that, Trollex looked down at her. "...There's also no mud underwater." He gained the slightest touch of his humor back.
Suki blinked at that...before giving him a small smile. "Hey, don't start the sob stories, regrets, and memories. You are going home. We are heading there as we speak. I mean..if you would have stayed home...I would not be standing here next to you." Her smile grew as she spoke.
Trollex looked at her in a shocked manner.
"I owe you my life, Trollex." Suki looked him directly in the eyes. "Thank you." She gave him a smile that could have lit the darkest cavern.
Trollex blinked. He stared back at her for a few seconds. "...Your welcome, Suki." He returned her smile while he looked back at her.
Suki and Trollex continued to smile at each other. They stared for a few seconds longer...before Lukas ran up to both of them.
His expression was stern and his demeanor was aggressive. That was very out of the ordinary for him. Lukas looked at them both with a serious expression. He opened his mouth to say something before his ear twitched. At that, he turned his head to look behind himself. Immediately, his gaze turned to the skies.
Suki seemed to be genuinely concerned for her friend. "Lukas...what's-what's the matter?" She took a couple steps toward him.
At that, Lukas' head whipped in her direction. "Suki, Trollex, you both must leave. Now!" He pointed at both of them, looking around once again.
Trollex blinked in surprise. "What, why? What's going on?" He brought him and Suki back into the large tree.
Lukas sighed heavily and shook his head. "One of my close associates said they saw Chanty Trolls heading this way. It seems like they brought their whole fleet. They mean business. I don't know what they want, but you two need to leave. If they find you here…" He massaged his temples to try and relieve his stress.
Suki nearly paled at the mention of the Chanty Trolls. She felt her legs grow weak at the thought. "Oh. Oh no. No, no, no...I can't! I can't go back with them!" She quivered and began to hug herself.
Trollex didn't hesitate to bring her into a tight embrace. "We're not going anywhere near them." He rubbed her back in a soothing manner. "How much time do we have left until they arrive?" His expression hardened as well.
Lukas shook his head with a deep frown. "Not long. That is why it's important that you guys get going." He explained with a rushed expression.
Not long after, Marimba, Tambora, and Tresillo caught up to them.
Tresillo caught his breath in a rushed manner. "Lukas! The Chanty Troll! They are-"
He was immediately cut off by a loud sound. There was a loud bang! After that, it was followed by the battle cries of the Samba Trolls. That was followed by more chaotic soundsm. The ground rumbled along with the chaos that continued. A dark shadow rolled over the colorful, wet land.
Lukas growled at this before calling for his sibling. "DULCE!" He yelled, cupping his hands over his mouth.
Dulce literally came flying to her brother not even a moment after. "Yes?" She said, sounding surprisingly calm about the situation.
Lukas sighed in relief, seeing that she was alright. "I need you to take them all to the secret passage. It is important that they leave right now. Afterward, I need you to leave here and hide with one of the locals." He explained to his sister.
Dulce's eyes widened greatly, but she did not question it. She wanted to save as much time as she could.
However, Suki seemed to ask the very question that was on her mind. "Wait...Lukas. What about you?" She looked at him with a worried expression.
Lukas turned to the chaos with a serious expression. "A great king fights with his people." He offered her a small smile before motioning Dulce to lead them away.
Dulce nodded in return. "Hurry! There is no more time to waste." She began to run off to the secret passage's location.
Trollex hurriedly urged Suki to follow, yet Suki's eyes were still on Lucas. The peacock troll gave her a wave before dashing out into the war.
Eventually Trollex settled on picking up the smaller troll. Afterward, he followed after Dulce and the Reggaeton Trolls.
From the large windows, they could see snippets of the battle that was waging outdoors. Samba Trolls were flying about, trying to take out the drivers on the flying ships. The ships began to fire bullets made of an explosive bubble-like substance. The Samba Trolls countered back with fireworks and shot them at the smaller ships.
Some of the Samba Trolls were engaged in hand to hand combat. Lukas was among these trolls. They all were fighting these trolls with skill and thought. Others that weren't using weapons, like Diogo, were in the trees.
The yellow and red troll had a slingshot in hand. "Ready...FIRE!" Diogo commanded and the other trolls along with him released their ammo on the Chanty Trolls.
Trollex tried not to stare in awe. He almost gave into his emotions...until he saw someone that made him remember himself.
It was Captain Blue, dripping wet with water, standing on the railing of her large ship. She stared down at them darkly. She stared for minutes before she finally moved. The young captain reached for the hilt of her sword. After that, she wasted no time to pull out her bright sword that crackles with electricity. Lightning flashed as she did this.
That's when the sides of the flying ship revealed something.
Trollex gasped at the sight. It was enough to make him glide faster. It was enough to make the rest of them run faster. Blue's ship was armed with cannons. She just gave the command to open fire.
The neon troll looked around in a paranoid manner when Dulce came to an immediate stop.
Dulce speedily tipped over a coat rack. In reality, it was a lever in disguise. The coat rack lever opened another passage in the wall. It was lit with dim lighting and led straight down first. The princess looked down at the ladder before beginning to climb down.
Dulce looked up at them. "Come on! Down here! Hurry before they begin infiltrating and find you all!" She continued her rushed descent.
Marimba, Tambora, and Tresillo took no time to follow.
Tresillo responded with a, "You don't have to tell me twice." Before climbing down into the hole.
Before Trollex could enter into the hole, there was an even louder sound.
BANG!
This time it shook the entire tree. There was a few loud crackling sound. Then a huge snap followed. The large tree had just lost one of it's branches.
Trollex wobbled due to the vibrations while Tambora nearly lost her grip on the ladder. She yelped at that, regained her hold, and quickened her descent.
Suki held Trollex tighter when he swiftly dove into the hole. He had a great advantage. He could levitate. His limited ability of flight allowed him to reach the bottom quicker.
Once everyone was underground, Dulce pressed a button made of stone. This allowed the secret passage to close and the lampstand returned right side up. "This way!" Dulce commanded them.
There turned out to be multiple tunnels, but Dulce knew which ones to take. She was going to give them a head start in their journey to Dragon Hollow.
However, the battle was still raging above them. The crashing sounds, the muffled yelling, and the sounds of the cannons could still be heard. Even some of the tunnels were even starting to cave in around them. Determined, they continued on their way. Eventually, the sounds faded.
That's when they made it to the end of the tunnels. There was an ancient-looking staircase. It seemed that candles used to be lit on the walls to give travelers light. Now the candles were useless. All of the wicks and waxes were burned out.
Dulce, with trembling steps, walked up the crumbling staircase. Once she reached the top, she urged the ancient door to open.
The princess poked her head out to check for any sign of danger. When she saw no one but the native animals, she knew there was no danger here. That's when she sighed in relief.
Dulce fully pushed the door open. "Okay. We're safe here. Come." She stepped out, urging them to follow.
Everyone hesitantly followed until they saw the surroundings themselves. Everything seemed peaceful. Everything seemed peaceful until they turned around. There was evidence of the war in the distance. Dulce flinched when she heard another explosion.
They all merely stared before Tressilo spoke. "...We should go, amigos." He suggested, brushing the dirt off of his body.
Dulce nodded in agreement. "Yes, you all should. The sooner you all leave, the better off you'll be." She said smoothly, but you could tell she was trying to contain her anxiety.
That's when Trollex finally placed Suki back on the ground.
Suki walked up to the distracted princess...and gave her the warmest hug she could manage. "Thank you for everything, Dulce." She said in a soft tone.
Dulce blinked a couple times. She glanced at the hot pink troll with widened eyes before she slowly returned the hug. "Do not worry about me."
When they parted, Trollex stepped up. "Yeah, thanks for everything. Pass the word on to your brother and Diogo too. We don't know what we could have without you guys. I wish I could help right now, but I will remember this." He offered her a dad smile.
"And I will remember you two also." Dulce offered them all a smile. "I will pass on your message. Now, go." She said, stepping aside for them.
Trollex and Suki gave Dulce one last smile before following the Reggaeton group toward Dragon Hollow.
Dulce watched them leave in a calculative manner. However, there was a hint of a smile on her face. "...Stay safe." She shook her head. Afterward, she returned to the tunnels.
….
Lukas and Diogo were forced on their knees before Blue. They both looked up at the ruby troll with angered expressions.
They had fought long and hard. They also seemed to have the upper hand at one point. However, no one was prepared for those cannons.
Blue stared back at them with a halved eyes expression.
"You do not stand in front of The Cunning Captain Blue." Growled the pirate that shoved the two men to their knees.
After this, Blue tilted her head. She still wore the same bored expression on her face. "...King Lucas...I don't believe we've met." She said smoothly, allowing a small smile to grace her lips. "I'm Blue. Now you know mine and I already know yours. However, I didn't come all this way just to know your name. I want something from you." She said, her eyes swirling with mischief.
Diogo frowned at that. Wait...she said something. If they were coming for Suki, she would have said someone. What do we have that she could want?" He thought to himself before his eyes widened. "Oh no...she's talking about the-"
He was interrupted by Lukas. "Whatever you are looking for is not here." Lukas told her with a glare. "Surely, you wouldn't have fought this much for money." He deeply frowned at that.
Blue nodded at that, truly seeming humored by this. "No. No I wouldn't." She looked around the damaged city. "There is something that you Samba Trolls have that belongs to me." She tilted her head.
Lukas squinted his eyes at that. "We don't have anything that belongs to you." He shook his head.
Blue placed her hand on her hip. "Oh, really?" She turned back to her pirates. "Search this place too to bottom for the Apex Headset." She commanded them, watching them scurry off.
Lukas looked around in a panic. "You-what do you know about the headset!? It's a myth for all we know!" He said, anger clear in his voice.
Blue simply chuckled at that. "We both know that it's as real as this." She held up a glowing golden cartridge. The small device shone in her hands.
Diogo and Lukas gasped at that.
Lukas blinked at the sight. "No...it can't be...is that…" He gaped in horror.
"The final lost piece to the perfect set." Blue answered for them. "My ancestors have been holding on to this for a very long time." She folded her arms with a confident smirk. "Now, I need the rest of the pieces."
That's when Blue's gaze turned dark towards the king. "Tell me where it is. Now." She commanded with loathing.
Lukas snarled at the words. Him and Diogo glanced at each other. Lukas was proud that they displayed the same expression. "I will not!" Lukas fired back with his eyes ablaze with determination.
Blue tried to keep her amusement to a minimum. "Look, Lukas. I'm trying to keep my patience with you, but it's kind of hard when you keep denying me of what I want." She glared at him coldly. Her voice was sweet at first, but stern at the end.
Lukas merely shook his head at that. "I am bound by an oath to keep our relic safe; even at the cost of my own life." He continued to glare at her.
That's when Blue backed up. She glanced around at her fellow pirates. "Oh, I see. You made a promise to protect it with your life. I get it."
Within a millisecond, she unsheathed her electric sword and held it inches from Diogo's neck. She grinned as the yellow troll's eyes widened in fear.
"What about the lives of other people?" Blue asked, her voice filled with malice. "Can you live with the lives of others being taken instead? Because, King Lukas, I will have everyone here killed. Except for you. You will be spared so you can remember and regret every single last detail. I'm warning you. Don't trigger me." Blue gritted her teeth as the other pirates began to gather the defenseless Samba Trolls together.
Lukas' stern gaze fell into one of horror. He would have liked to think that the ruby captain was bluffing. By the look in her soulless blue eyes, she wasn't. Not one bit. After a few seconds, he couldn't take it anymore.
"Alright! Alright!" Lukas cried out before the pirates could raise their sword above a child's head. "I'll give it to you! Just...please stop." He looked down with an expression of defeat.
Blue snapped, immediately getting the pirate's attention. "...I'm glad we've come to an agreement." Her tone turned sweet once again. "Show it to me."
Lukas warrily stood, looking at the pirates warily in case they tried something. Fortunately, they didn't seem to have anything planned for Lukas as they snarled at him. "...Follow me." He said angrily, but he had a right to be angry.
Diogo stood and followed his cousin with an apprehensive frown.
The peacock troll had led them through the halls of the tree with ease. That's when he opened the secret passage, slid down, and showed them the resting place of the headset. It's glow was nearly as bright as when Suki was present. This threw up a red flag to Lukas.
As for Blue, she coyly grinned at the glowing headphones. "Finally...it's mine." She whispered this as she tapped the glass, watching as a cold most leaked into the ground at its revelation.
Blue grabbed the headset with care, it's glow dramatically increasing as the ruby troll's fingers made contact with it.
Lukas watched the scene before asking, "Who are you?" He squinted his eyes at her.
Once the headset was in her grasp, Blue turned her gaze toward him. "Me? Oh, I'm Captain Blue." She had already told him her name, but she knew what he was asking. So she elaborated. "I am the last descendant of the ancient creators. You know, part of the scholars?" She gave him a small smile.
Lukas looked at her, completely baffled. "Wh-What would a creator want with the pieces of the perfect set?" He raised an eyebrow, not caring about how the pirates around looked at him. "...You want to rebuild it, don't you!?" He pointed at her.
Blue tilted her head, still admiring the ancient headset. "...I will not confirm nor deny that accusation. However, now I'm sure the ancients left you a little gift as well, O' Wise King Lukas." She motioned for them to head back out into the public.
Once Lukas and Diogo were dragged back out into the open, the ship landed. The large vessel extended an automatic gangplank. That meant that the pirates were finally taking their leave now that they got what they wanted. Blue signalled the pirates to go back to their flying boats and to the rocket ship. Lukas was fine with this and the Samba Trolls were relieved. That was until the forcefully motioned Diogo to the gangplank.
Diogo cried out, "Hey! Hey! What are you doing!? No, stop!" He tried his best to avoid the pirates, but there were too many. The pirates merely continued to push him into the ship. "LUKAS!"
"What!? No! NO!" Lukas cried out, trying to come after Diogo.
Unfortunately, Pistachio, one of the remaining pirates, pushed him on the ground. Lukas' head smacked against a colorful rock.
Lukas' vision was blurred for a moment. The last thing he looked up to see was Diogo disappearing from his sight, now on the pirate ship.
Blue darkly chuckled at that. "You really thought that I would trust you all enough to just...turn my back on you all?" She continued to laugh as she backed up into the gangplank. She eyed the king that was...still a bit out of it. "Now you know that I'm smart too." She turned to board the ship. "Try to come after us...he'll be as good as dead."
That was the last thing she said before her and the snickering Pistachio disappeared on the ship as well.
"No...D-Diogo…" Was the only thing Lukas got out before he blacked out. The only thing he remembered seeing were the ships taking off and the citizens rushing to his aid.
….
Blue turned to the pirates that celebrated on the deck. She stood on her staircase, waiting for them to give her their full attention. Diogo warily stood among them. His feathered exterior made him stand out greatly. Apparently none of the Pirates had Samba origin. At least none of his people were sellouts.
"My fellow scourge, pillagers, and plunderers," Blue began with a small smile. "Today, we have taken a step forward-reached a goal-toward our larger goal. Our grand scheme of domination. We now have...the first piece of the Perfect Set!"
Blue held up the glowing headphones with pride. That caused all of the pirates to cheer and nearly lose their minds. They eagerly wanted to crack open the rootbeer and have a good time.
Noticing this, Blue chuckled to herself at the sight of them.
Shift stepped forward with his own eager expression. "That means we have two more pieces left...r-right, Captain?" He tilted his head, looking up at Blue for her approval.
Blue nodded at that. "Yup. As soon as I locate them, we will be going after them too." Before they could erupt into another fit of cheers, Blue raised her finger. "But going one step at a time is vital to our success. We will focus on them one at a time. Now, here's the moment you all have been waiting for." She grew a small smile. "You scurvy-scallywags have done well so far, hmm? Go enjoy yourselves."
As their captain waved them off with a smile, the pirates cheered once again. After that, everyone broke off to do their own thing.
Pistachio walked up to Captain Blue with a Diogo who was bound with handcuffs. "What do I eh...do with this mug?" He tilted his head, looking at Blue quizzically.
Blue, who was about to retire go her quarters, waved him off. "Take him to the brig. This time the prisoner better not escape." She hissed out with gritted teeth.
Pistachio trembled at that. "Aye aye, Captain!" He offered her a nervous smile before running off with the prisoner.
Blue shook her head before quickly retiring to the Captain's quarters. The young captain closed and locked the door. This tuned out the happy pirates below. That's when she turned to her control panel. That's right. You all were never given a tour of Blue's Captain's Quarters. Better now than never!
Her Captain's Quarters was quite a large room. This is where Blue worked, mapped, ate, and navigated through the seas of the sky. This was where Blue steered and controlled the Rocket Ship (Get it? It's a pirate ship with rockets!). There was a large control panel with screens so she could see where the ship was going without opening her large windows that displayed the crew mates and the deck down below. Aside from the controls was her desk where she usually created maps and notes. There were a few furnishings such as couches and chairs and a table for when she needed to eat. There was a vending machine, a bubble gum machine, and a root beer dispenser...because they looked cool. They also gave her an extra coin whenever her hearties stop by. The rug on her floor was in the shape of a large tan pirate map. The only thing left was her work bench. That area was dedicated to her tools and her projects. That was where her pink and black hoverboard rested.
Blue's room was the next room over and was connected with a red door. Now that you guys know what the quarters looks like, back to the action!
Blue made her way over to her control panel. She looked over the helm, display, and gauges with a small smile. Everything was working perfectly. It seemed as though they were now heading West and also ascending in altitude. She tilted her head as she typed the new coordinates into the autopilot. Once she did that, she nodded to herself.
After that, she went over to sit down in her favorite chair behind her desk. She flopped down in it, spinning around a couple times before relaxing. She looked over at the photograph of her parents and her as a baby on the shelf. This caused her to smile more. She closed her eyes, feeling completely relaxed. Not too relaxed, though. Pirates can never be too relaxed.
That is when Blue's mind began to wander. To her horror, the first thing that came to mind was her date with Prince D. The image of his fur. His sky blue eyes looking down at her deep blue ones. The warmth of his body against hers. Not to mention how her heart raced when he leaned down, looking like he was about to-
Blue's eyes snapped open. She leaned forward on her desk. groaning. The young captain was clearly aggravated by her own mind. Of all things to think about why that?!
The date was okay in her opinion. Besides, that one mishap, everything went to plan. It was weird, though. After said mishap, everything seemed to calm down in a way. Maybe it was just her.
The Prince gave her a pair of earrings. That was nice of him. They looked good. She just didn't know what to do with them. It's been a while since she had gotten a gift. Whether she admitted it or not, she had been a bit touched by the gesture.
"Just keep playing the part, Blue." The pirate told herself as she leaned back in her seat.
A few seconds later, her watch rang. She furrowed her eyebrows to look at the caller ID. Expecting to see one of her pirates, her eyebrow raised when it was an unknown number. She seemed even more perplexed that it was a video call.
Her curiosity piqued, she removed her hat and answered the call. Blue's eyes halved when she saw a familiar pink face.
"Hi, there." Prince D chuckled, seeing her expression. "Did you miss me?" He raised his eyebrow playfully.
Blue looked at him with the halfest eyes. "Not one bit. How-How did you get my number?" She asked him quizzically.
Prince D nodded at that. "I was at the hoverpark and one of my boys, said he knew you and gave me your number. His name is Shift." He finished with a smile.
Blue, on the other hand, kept her deadpan. "Figures."
"On, so you do know him?" Prince D asked with a head tilt.
"Unfortunately." Blue shook her head...before gasping as she looked herself over. She was still in her pirate attire!
Blue tossed off her jacket and pushed her feathered hat out of sight. After that, she leaned back in her seat as if she was up to nothing.
"So…" Blue looked to the side. "You have my number. Now what?" She looked at him in an unimpressed manner.
…..
Prince D was one happy troll. He had been at the hoverpark earlier, trying to escape more lame meetings. Thankfully, he dodged that one. That's when he ran into Shift. All Prince D knew is that he had gotten carried away in telling Shift about his date. Then Shift said that he knew Blue. The prince took that as an opportunity to get her number and...that was it. Now he was in his castle that looked like a resort made out of lava lamps, talking with his favorite person.
Prince D shrugged at that. "I don't know. I was thinking I could get to know you better." He said, offering her another smile. He made himself comfortable on the living room couch.
Blue looked at him with halved eyes through the screen. "Didn't we do that last night?" She asked boredly.
Prince D chuckled at that. "I know, I know. I just want to talk to you more. I-I can't get enough of you. You know?" He flashed her a smile.
It was true. He had no idea what was going on with him, but he could not get enough of Blue. When they are together, all he can think about is her. When they are a part, all he can think about is her. She is the most popular thought on his mind. Heck-she has taken over his mind.
The date went very well. He can tell. Despite the intimacy at one moment, of course. Not like he could think straight after that anyway. After that, the only thing his mind was bent on was the curiosity he had about the other troll's lips. However, he kept stifling these thoughts. He allowed them to remain fantasies because he knew it was too early. They had just met after all!
…..
Blue cringed as soon as the Prince said that. "Oh, brother…" She grumbled out as she looked away from the camera.
"He just can't get enough of me. Classic."
What was she even supposed to say in return!? That was one of the cheesiest things…"I'm pretty sure it's not all that." Blue responded with a shake of her head.
Prince D merely smiled at her in amusement. "Blue, I was thinking about you all yesterday, the day before, and all this morning. You are the first thing on my mind and the last. I like being with you and...I just want to follow you around all the time so I can always be with you." He tried to explain to her.
…..
Prince D finished his sentence with confidence. He was hoping that he could get her to understand some of the complex, but loving feelings he was developing. He couldn't help the small chuckled that bubbled up when she stared at him blankly.
"...You sound like a borderline stalker." Blue said, shaking her head with a sigh.
This caught Prince D off guard. Any other girl would have swooned, melted, anything! The only thing he got from her was that he was turning into a stalker. That alone made the prince burst into hysterics.
He laughed for a solid minute before He was able to gather himself. "I'm sorry-I just...I wasn't ready for that." He looked at her with a smile, laughter threatening to come out of his smiling lips.
…..
Blue gave him a small smile. "That's the first thing that came to my mind. If you want squishy stuff, go bother some other chick." She piddled with her fingers in amusement.
Prince D smiled at her before glancing around. "Okay, I'm good. My parents and my brother are out at a meeting. They should be back soon, though. I just don't want to hear anything about how I should be at some lame meeting when I could be having fun instead." He said matter-of-factly.
Blue nodded and propped her feet up on her desk. "Ain't that the truth. Sounds like you need a vacation." She said with a shrug.
"If I go on one, will you come with me?" Prince D inquired with a grin.
Blue's eyes halved at that. "Nice try, D." She released a small chuckle.
"Oh man." Prince D complained from the other end.
Blue smiled at the camera, looking at him mischievously. "Yeah. Better luck next time, my Prince." She chuckled once more.
…..
Prince D nearly melted when she called him that. Now it's official. He loves when she calls him her Prince. A lot of people say that, but only she could make his legs weaken from those two words. Before his mind could wander off into the gutter, he decided to pick up the conversation.
Prince D adjusted to relax again. "Dang it. That would have been so fun, though. I could rent out a random place, we could eat out every night, and party till we pass out." He looked up in a daydream-like state.
"That's a lot of time to spend with one person." Blue teased, completely taking him out of his fantasy.
Prince D looked down at the watch. "Do you want me to repeat what I said about you earlier?" He threatened with a smirk.
…..
Blue was about to respond, an equal smirk playing on her lips...before a fuzzy face covered the camera.
Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark!
"Wuzzy!" Prince D called from behind the pup. "Move! Off! Get out of the way of the camera!" He wrestled with the bubble pup.
The young captain shook her head at the both of them, watching the camera get flung around.
"Hey! Give me back my watch!" Prince D called to Wuzzy.
Grrrrrrrr!
After about a minute, Prince D came back into the screen. He seemed slightly roughed up and out of breath.
Blue bit her finger with a half eyed smile. "I'm guessing the pup won that one?" She tilted her head.
…..
Prince smoothed out his fur. "Ha, ha. Very funny. I'll...I'll call you later. Have a good night, Blue." He offered her one last smile while Wuzzy tried to spring up to the watch on his wrist.
The Prince moved the watch out of Wuzzy's grasp. "We are really going to have to talk about this." He told his pet with a deadpan.
Blue replied with a look of amusement. "Goodnight, my Prince." She waved and hung up.
...Prince D melted once again. He barely noticed the sounds of his family's return.
…..
Blue leaned back in her seat, giving her watch a break. She shook her head once more.
The captain closed her eyes with a sigh. "What a weirdo." Blue said in a bored tone...but with the slightest smile gracing her face.
What about that one!?
This chapter was chocked full of action! Now you all see what Blue meant When she said she wanted to collect the rest of the pieces. She came to the Samba Tribe for one thing and that was the headset. Speaking of that...oh no! Diogo! Don't worry, he's fine for now, but He has been captured and that will not set too well with Dulce and Lukas. Also, it was nice to give Dulce a bit of spotlight since most of it was given to her cousin and her brother. She was a vital asset to the team.
And now Suki, Trollex, and the Reggeaton gang are off to Dragon Hollow! You guys are going to love the new species of troll I am whipping up for that place. It will be sweeeeet! Also, Trollex really protected Suki during that chaos. Talk about some cookie points, am I right?
Then there was the whole exchange with Blue and Prince D. I also finally gave you guys a look into her advanced captain's quarters. I've been meaning to do that. Also, Wuzzy still hates Blue. I am hoping to check in with D's parents and to see what they think about him getting serious with a girl he likes.
Purple Duskywing: Feels good to be back! I hope I gave you what you wanted when it came to the different point of views. I just did a...multiscreen kind of thing. Blue is feeling something. Not on as large of a scale as D, but it's something! Also, don't worry about the Trollex/Suki. It's slowly happening. Just all of the almost dying gets in the way sometimes.
Instantpotbagels: Now you got to see a bit of Blue's thoughts on the...eh...chaos. She'll probably drown all her thoughts in rootbeer if she thinks about D one more time Lol.
Guest: Your wish has come true! Another chapter for you! BOOM!
Apple Bloom: I'm honestly excited to be writing again. Thanks for the encouragement. Reviews like this make me go, "Hmm...I might as Well get started on this new chapter…" because starting a new chapter is super hard for me...for some strange reason. So thanks!
Thank you to all who faved and followed and reviewed. You guys are the best!
Lastly, my new story is up! It's called the Rise of Blackstone. Check it when you have a spare minute. At first the website was acting weird, but it seems fine now so...go ahead and knock yourself out! Until later, stars!
