Chapter Twenty One:

During the following week after the Supernatural girls' conversation with the Delacours in the baths, quite a few different things happened. Blake Ouroboros had been using The Kaleidoscope to look into alternate worlds again and discovered a few interesting Alternates of herself. The first one was a male and, like Luna, a Demi-God. His father was Thor Odinson of Norse Mythology, but that Thor wasn't an Alternate of the Thor that Blake had heard about from her mom's… colleagues. Another Alternate was also a male with magic and plant-based powers, and his mom was a supervillain. The third Alternate that Blake observed before calling it a day was, unlike the previous two, a female and the twin-sister of that imp Blake and Luna encountered at the Rating Game about a month ago.

Something that happened in regards to Luna was a very significant change. The event that triggered the change was brought forth when she was awoken by a severe pain near the bottom of her spine during a weekend when she and Blake had been taking a nap together in her room. After being more or less being ordered by Blake to take her shirt off, the Demi-Dragon Goddess found what was causing the pain near the bottom of the Demi-Goddess's spine. A magical array with the triple function of suppressing and concealing Luna's Divine powers and masking her true appearance. Magically carved into Luna's skin, and Blake had a very good idea about who put it there. Pandora. Most likely to protect her daughter. While Blake was fully capable of removing the array, she was slightly hesitant about doing it. But that hesitation vanished when she asked Luna for permission to remove it, as the Demi-Goddess told her to do it without the slightest hesitation.

"Very well Luna." Stated Blake as she handed her mate a piece of a leather belt. "Brace yourself, this will hurt… or at least sting." Understanding why her mate gave her the belt, Luna put it in her mouth. "Three… two… one… here goes!"

Biting into the belt, Luna felt like she was on fire as her mate carefully removed the magical array from her lower back, by erasing pieces of her skin from existence while at the same time making sure that something didn't go wrong. Like causing Luna to explode! After about half an hour of carefully removing the array, and enduring the excruciating pain in Luna's case, Blake was finished. Finally being able to remove the belt from her mouth, it revealed that Luna had almost bitten through the belt. And then the Demi-Goddess exploded. Not literally but metaphorically as a massive release of raw magical power and a blindingly bright golden light shined, enveloping Luna completely.

Once the light died down, Luna was still there, but changed. While her figure hadn't changed, other aspects of her appearance had. While she had been rather pale before, she now sported a slightly tanned complexion. She no longer had her old pale silvery eyes and in their place was a heterochromic pair. The left eye now a pale blue, like a sapphire gemstone, and the right eye now red, like a ruby. Gone was the previously dirty-blonde hair and in its place was a chaotic mix of pitch black and platinum blonde.

As the new Luna turned to her mate, she was greeted by a sight that she highly doubted she would ever get to see again. Blake was staring at her, slack jawed.

"Like what you're seeing, Blake?" Asked the new Luna with a slight smirk.

"Definitely. You were pretty before. Now you're beautiful." Answered the Demi-Dragon Goddess as her silvery grey eyes wandered all over her mate's new form.

"That's nice and all… but can I have my shirt back?"

"It's getting late, so why bother?"

"*sigh* can you at least hand me my pajamas."

"Sure."
