It was 9:30 pm as Kim, Ron, and Anna entered their townhouse.
"What a trial," Kim said.
"Mom, you've been saying that ever since we left the courthouse," Anna pointed out.
Kim nodded, "I know."
Just then, a familiar GJ agent came walking down the stairs.
"Hey, guys," Sabre waved.
"Hey," Kim waved back as she and her family noticed the GJ agent.
"How did the trial go?" Sabre asked.
"Short will be behind bars for life," Kim replied.
Sabre soon noticed Kim feeling uneasy about something, "What's wrong?"
Kim sighed, "I was bashed by Short's lawyer and the judge."
"I take it they weren't your biggest fans?" Sabre speculated.
Kim shook her head, "Nope. And neither are the lawyers and the judges of the upcoming trials against the Walkers and the Arnolds."
Sabre soon thought of something and said, "I think I know something that could help. But I can't promise anything though."
Kim nodded, "Okay."
Sabre then waved, "I'll see you guys later."
The Stoppables waved back, "Bye."
Soon, Sabre walked out the front door and closed it behind him.
Just after Sabre walked out the door, Anna soon thought of something and asked, "Say, what time is that funeral for Fukushima in Japan?"
"It's Sunday at 12:00 pm in Japan," Ron answered. He then suddenly realized. "The funeral is in a couple hours our time, isn't it?"
"I guess so," Anna agreed. "We better get changed and go. I'll get my black gi."
"Black gi?" Ron asked, confused.
"Yeah you remember, I was made an honorary ninja after singlehandedly taking on ninjas Sensei sent out to challenge me," Anna replied.
"Well, I might as well get my black gi too," Ron said. "After all, I was a student there."
"And I'll get my black funeral dress," Kim added.
It was November 4th at 11:45 am in Japan as Kim, Ron (with Hana in his arms), and Anna entered the gates of Yamanouchi. A few days ago, while helping Monkey Fist take over the world, Fukushima was betrayed by said villain. When Monkey Fist tried to get Anna to sacrifice Fukushima and replace him as apprentice, she refused and Fukushima joined forces with her, Kim, and Ron to defeat Monkey Fist once and for all. But during the battle, Kim and Ron were killed. Because she shared a spiritual bond with Kim and Ron, Anna used her father's Mystical Monkey Power to perform an advanced version of Reiki to revive them, but she died after doing so. Fukushima, having learned Reiki before he was banished from Yamanouchi, performed it on Anna and revived her. But Fukushima died soon after.
"Kim? Ron? Anna?" Came a male voice.
The Stoppables turned to see Yori and, to the Stoppables' surprise, Ron's football teammate, Joseph "Joey" Turner Daniels.
"Joey?" Ron said, confused.
"Hey, Ron," Joey waved.
"Not that I'm complaining but, what are you doing here?" Ron asked.
"Yori invited me to come with her to the funeral of Fukushima," Joey replied. He then raised his right hand. "And don't worry, I was sworn to secrecy about Yamanouchi and I will honor it."
"Well, you're not the only one," Ron said.
Joey then noticed Ron's baby sister. "Is that your baby sister?"
Ron nodded, "Yup, my bon-diggity sister; we decided to bring her along."
"She looks adorable," Joey cooed.
Ron then noticed what Joey was wearing, "Is that a U.S. Army dress uniform?"
Joey nodded, "It is; I served in the Army before attending Hudson River University."
"You served in the Army?" Ron asked.
Joey nodded, "Yes. But I got wounded in Afghanistan and was discharged. After my wounds healed, I enrolled at Hudson River University and I not only play on the football team, but I'm also majoring in farming."
Kim soon noticed Yori and Joey holding hands.
"Uh… Yori?" Kim said.
"Yes, Kim-san?" Yori answered.
"You're holding Joey's hand."
"Daniels-san and I have become a couple," Yori announced.
Kim, Ron, and Anna were shocked over what they just heard.
"But… I thought Abby was…" Ron spoke.
Joey sighed, "Ron, to tell you the truth, Abby and I broke up shortly after the football game in Annapolis. You remember me telling you that she was given an opportunity to go to Oxford and I encouraged her to go for it?" Ron nodded. "Well, we both agreed that a long-distance relationship wouldn't work, so we decided to call it quits. I felt a bit terrible, but when Yori came along, she helped me back on my feet. Then, I guess one thing led to another."
"I'm so sorry for what happened between you and Abby," Ron said with sympathy.
"It's okay, Ron," Joey assured. "I've moved on and I'm back to normal." He then changed subjects. "Say, Ron, changing subjects, are you going to be taking part in the upcoming football game?"
Ron shook his head, "Nah. Me and the fam have to attend the trials of Jay and Alex Walker."
"The Walkers?" Joey asked in disbelief. Ron nodded. "Well, I hope you succeed in putting them away for all they've done. And I wish you luck in putting the Arnolds away too."
Later, at 12:00 pm local time, everyone invited to the funeral were sitting in chairs before Sensei who was standing behind a podium with Fukushima's casket to his right side.
"Everyone," Sensei began. "We are all gathered here today to pay our respects to the once-banished-recently-redeemed, Fukushima-san. He served Monkey Fist up until he was betrayed by said villain. As a result, Fukushima-san quickly learned the error of his ways and helped the Monkey Master and his spiritual family defeat Monkey Fist once and for all. But during the battle, the Monkey Master and his wife were killed. After defeating Monkey Fist, the spiritual daughter, Anna-san, used the spiritual bond she shared with her parents to bring them back to life. But it cost Anna-san her own life. Then, Fukushima-san stepped forward and healed Anna-san, bringing her back to life. But Fukushima-san died after performing the healing."
He then took a breath before he continued.
"When I had Fukushima-san for a student, he was difficult to get along with. I even considered him disrespectful for the way he treated Ron-san when he came to this school as an exchange student for a week. And after I learned that he helped Monkey Fist steal the Lotus Blade, I banished him. But in spite of his dark deeds, I am very proud that Fukushima-san learned the error of his ways and redeemed himself by helping the spiritual family defeat Monkey Fist, save the world, and bring Anna-san back to life."
He then asked, "Would anyone like to say a few words?"
"I like to say a few words," Anna announced as she stood up from her seat. Sensei then stepped aside as Anna walked up and stood behind the podium. "I want to mention that, even though I was disappointed in Fukushima for all the dark deeds he committed while serving Monkey Fist, I'm grateful that he redeemed himself and helped me and my spiritual parents defeat Monkey Fist and save the world."
She then took a breath before she continued.
"Also, I want to mention that, it's never too late for anyone evil to redeem him or herself. Fukushima, along with Drakken and Shego, are examples of evil people who've found redemption and were hailed as heroes in the end. Once more, I'm proud of Fukushima for his heroic efforts and he will be missed by all of us. May he rest in piece."
Anna then walked over to the casket, and paid her respects. Afterward, she walked back to her seat and sat down.
"Would anyone else like to say a few words?" Sensei asked.
Joey stood up, "I would like to say a few words, Master Sensei."
Joey then walked up and stood behind the podium.
Joey took a deep breath, "I wanna say that, like Anna and everyone else here, I am very proud of Fukushima for his heroic actions. After learning from Yori who Fukushima was, it reminded me of an old squad mate of mine while I served in the Army during my last tour in Afghanistan. His name was, Oscar, and was a jerk towards me and my squad mates. But one day, he would pull off an act of heroism that earned him our respect and admiration. Our squad was ambushed while on patrol and during the ambush, a frag grenade from the enemy landed in the middle of the squad. Oscar noticed it and jumped onto it before it exploded. He saved the squad, but it cost him his own life. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions that day."
Joey took a deep breath before he continued.
"Despite what he did before his redemption, Fukushima will be missed and remembered for his heroic actions. And if I could give him a Medal of Honor, I would; he deserves one. May he rest in peace."
He then walked out from behind the podium, over to the casket, and paid his respects before he headed back to his seat beside Yori.
"Would anyone else like to say a few words?" Sensei asked the attendees.
Later, back in Broy, it was November 4h at the prison in said city as GJ Agents Will Du and Sabre entered the visiting area of said prison and sat down in front of two glass windows.
"Are you sure about this?" Du asked Sabre.
"Believe me, Will, it will work," Sabre replied.
Just then, Alex's father, Jay, and Frank and Betty's father, Hector, were led into the room on the other side of the windows in handcuffs. Jay was seated in front of Sabre while Hector was seated in front of Du.
"Who are you guys?" Hector demanded.
"I am Global Justice agent, Sabre," Sabre introduced himself.
"And I am GJ agent Will Du," Du added.
"What do you guys want?" Jay demanded.
"We are here to make an offer for you two and your children on behalf of Dr. Director," Sabre replied.
"Sorry, but I don't take offers from Sheldon's twin-sister," Jay said.
"Ah yes, you and Gemini were college buddies."
"Yes, and we say no to whatever Dr. Director offers."
"You haven't heard it yet," Du spoke up.
Hector turned to Jay, "Jay, let's hear them out first."
Jay turned to Hector, sighed and nodded, "Okay."
Both Jay and Hector turned back to Sabre and Du.
Sabre then began, "Du and I would like to announce that Dr. Director is willing to give you guys and your kids a chance to free yourselves from this prison. But only, if you do as she asks."
"What does she want us to do?" Jay asked.
"She wants you guys and your kids to make plea agreements," Sabre replied.
"If you accept the terms," Du spoke up. "We promise that you will all be able to avoid doing time here."
Hector brightened up and turned to Jay, "Jay, can you believe this?"
Jay turned to Hector, "That we will be released from prison if we accept the offer?"
Hector nodded, "Yes."
Hector and Alex turned back to the GJ agents.
"You have a deal," The two criminals said in unison.
Sabre pulled out his communicator and said, "Agent Sabre to Dr. Director, Jay and Hector have accepted."
"Great, bring them and their children to GJ HQ once they sign the plea agreements," Dr. Director on the other end answered.
It was 2:30 pm in Broy as Kim, Ron, and Anna met up with Michelle and Ellie outside the Broy Courthouse.
"Well, here we are," Kim announced. "Now, let's get this over with."
Michelle, noticing Kim's uneasiness, said, "Kim, I can assure you everything's going to be fine. You know how some lawyers defending criminals can be."
Kim nodded, "Yeah. But still."
"Don't worry, Mom," Anna assured Kim. "Besides, I'm sure what Sabre has planned will give us an even greater edge."
"Who's Sabre?" Michelle asked.
The Stoppables looked up at Michelle.
"He's a Global Justice agent and really nice man too," Anna answered. "He's also been a babysitter for me and Hana. In fact, while I babysat Ellie, Sabre babysat me and Hana while Mom and Dad were away on a mission."
Before Michelle could say anything…
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"What's the sitch, Wade?" Kim answered her Kimmunicator.
"Kim, I have good news," Wade announced.
"Well, what is it?" Kim asked, eagerly.
"You remember Sabre telling you that he had a way to help you guys?" Wade asked.
Kim, Ron, and Anna all nodded and said, "Yes."
"With approval from Dr. Director, Sabre devised a plan to get the Walkers and the Arnolds to make plea agreements." Wade announced.
"Okay, Wade, how did he manage to do that?" Ron asked.
"He told the Walkers and the Arnolds that they will be released from the Broy Prison if they made plea agreements," Wade replied.
The Stoppables and Kellys couldn't believe what they heard.
"The Walkers and the Arnolds have been released from prison?" Ron asked in disbelief.
"Yes, but not the way you think," Wade replied,
"Okay, now we're confused," Ron groaned.
"I'll explain Sabre's plan to you," Wade said.
Meanwhile, Jay and Alex Walker; along with Hector, Frank, and Betty Arnold; were at GJ HQ and were walking down a hallway while being escorted by GJ agents.
Just then, they entered a conference room where Dr. Director was waiting for them.
"Please have a seat," Dr. Director spoke to the Walkers and the Arnolds.
The Walkers and the Arnolds complied as they sat down in five seats next to each other.
"Are you Dr. Director?" Hector asked.
Dr. Director nodded, "I am. And I take it you have accepted my offer on behalf of Sabre and Will Du."
"We made plea agreements like you wanted us too," Jay added. "Now, can we go free?"
Dr. Director shook her head, "No, you will be doing time at our prison facility in the Rocky Mountains."
The Walkers and the Arnolds were in complete disbelief.
"But we agreed that if we made plea agreements you would get us out of prison," Frank pointed out.
"Frank, Du and I said you five would be released from the prison in Broy," Sabre pointed out. "We didn't say you were going to be released from prison over all."
Betty Arnold gasped, "We've been tricked."
Alex looked squarely at Dr. Director, "Where do you come up with these devious ideas?"
"Actually, it was Sabre's idea," Dr. Director said, pointing at Sabre.
The Walkers and the Arnolds scowled as they turned to Sabre.
"You're welcome," Was all Sabre said.
Dr. Director then spoke, "Agents, take these five to the hanger and transported to the Rocky Mountains."
Sabre, Will Du, and the other agents handcuffed the five criminals and lead them away.
"So, Sabre tricked the Walkers and the Arnolds into making plea agreements?" Kim asked after Wade finished explaining what Sabre did.
Wade nodded, "Yup."
"And they will have to do time in a GJ prison?" Kim asked.
Wade nodded, "Yup."
"No trials?" Kim asked.
Wade shook his head, "No trials."
Kim smiled, "Spankin'."
"Well, seems like we're in the clear," Ron spoke up. "That, and lawyers and judges won't be bashing Kim anytime soon."
"Thank goodness for that," Kim said with a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Hench walked into Bonnie's throne room with a grim look on his face.
"What is it?" Bonnie asked.
"Global Justice has managed to trick the Walkers and the Arnolds into make plea agreements," Hench announced. "Because of the plea agreements, there will be no trials to keep the Stoppables distracted.
"What?!" Bonnie shouted. "You gotta be kidding me!"
"So, what do we do now?" Hench asked.
Bonnie stood up from her throne and walked up to the window, overlooking the factory producing Bonnie bots.
She sighed, "There may be no time to wait for Valerie to call up her posse and do stuff that will keep the Stoppables and their friends at bay."
"Then, what shall we do?" Hench asked.
Bonnie soon thought of something and said, "Contact every villain there is; I have an idea."
To Be Continued…
A/N: Well, seems Kim won't be bashed by any more criminal defense lawyers and judges any time soon. That was one devious plan by GJ to get the Arnolds and the Walkers to make plea agreements.
Now Bonnie intends to contact every villain there is?
This isn't going to be good.
