Everything went black, their ears were ringing and more wounds covered their bodies. Just how on earth did they survive? How did they crash? Where are they? Miku slowly comes to and sees a vast sea of sand. Not a rock or cactus in sight. Just sand, sand, and more sand.
"Bex! Kevin! Are you okay?!" she called.
Thanks to the seatbelts, they survived. But they are suffering from whiplash and need medical attention...again. Miku doesn't know much about being a chiropractor, but she can try. She transforms the seats into beds and prepares to snap their bodies back into place. It was nerve wracking, but Miku managed to fix the issues at least momentarily.
"Ouch! I hope I get serious insurance money for this." Bex whined.
"How did we crash?! Are we stranded?" Kevin panicked.
"Both of you calm down, the plane is in shambles." Miku informed them. "But we can find other means of getting home. I'll send a distress signal and call for help."
The twin-tailed girl races to the plane's control panel and finds that it's broken. Her heart sank. This is not good! It looks like they'll have to travel on foot in order to find help.
"Ugh! I'm gonna get salt in the wounds!" Bex complained.
"Hold my hand." Miku said, taking the girl's hand. "We'll get through this, I promise."
"Whenever I'm with you, I feel like I can do anything." Kevin said, giving his idol a kiss on the cheek.
She blushed a little at the man's gesture, but then proceeded to help him and Bex through the desert. It's miles of sand from here on out. With only three bottles of water, they can only pray for a miracle. Miku didn't want to lose hope because these two are depending on her. But there's nothing other than sand in sight.
Suddenly, however, black lightning struck between them causing them to lose consciousness hopefully for the last time because this is ridiculous. Bex and Kevin wake up surrounded by some sandy brick walls that hardly make a building. Miku is wearing a new getup, the one from Sand Planet. She seems to be in a daze, until she notices the two waking up.
"Good, you're awake." Miku said, giving Bex a blank stare. "Can you stand?"
The sand made her wounds worse despite them covered in bandages and sleeves. Kevin helps her stand, but she wobbles back and forth. She falls on her knees frustrated that she cannot walk without the aid of others. Miku sighs heavily knowing they won't be getting anywhere fast. Her attention turns to the whirlpool of emotions she's been feeling ever since she woke up. It's a mix of pain and comfort, of anger and love. It must be from merging with the different parts of her.
Bex attempts to stand once more in hopes of not falling. It's a bit shaky, but she can manage. Miku was relieved that they could march onward. Rock formations could be seen ahead so that's where they gravitate towards. It was a nice change of pace from the miles of sand. As she walks with a goal in mind, Miku slowly slips into a half unconscious state, unable to hear most of what's around her. Ghostly voices echo in her mind, ones of which she can't quite understand. Then, a searing pain stabs her in the chest causing her to collapse.
"Miku!" the two gasped.
"It hurts!" she cried. "But why?"
The twin-tailed girl tries to relax with deep breathing as Bex and Kevin assure her with their presence. It was bizarre for this to come out of nowhere, but thankfully it wasn't serious. The pain subsided after a minute or two which felt like an eternity. Still, Miku could feel a dull ache lingering in her heart. One that would not let her go.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Miku said, hoping she will be. "Let's proceed."
And so the endless hike through sand resumes. Not a road or soul in sight. The trio soon loses zip to go on, but the water they've brought along soon rejuvenates them. Just how long will this go on?
When they see a giant metal structure, they regain hope. It must mean something, but what? The three race over there to find out, but as it turns out, it leads to a trap beneath the sand. Bex, Kevin, and Miku fall into a pit that leads underground. And yep, they fall unconscious, again!
