Note: I'm sorry for the long break I took. School has started for me and I don't have as much time to write and think of ideas. I also spend most of my time researching how to write good stories as to help my work get better. With that out of the way please review and leave feedback as to help make this story better.

Trevor's POV

Trevor ran off into the forest stepling over twigs and rocks. He kept running until he was out of breath and came to a stop. He stomped his foot on the ground and sighed. He could admit he wasn't good at battling and didn't like it as much as his friends did but he didn't expect to be humiliated in such a large audience...

He liked to catch and take pictures of pokémon but he had even been bested at that... and by a kid who hadn't even been in Kalos for a month! A few pokemon scamperd at his arrival and hid. He sat down on a log and sighed...

Shauna's POV

Shauna walked through the forest. She saw Trevor ran off and decided to follow him. The forest that was once full of pokémon and noisy was now empty and quiet. The sun was also beginning to set.. She contuined walking, after a few minutes she saw Trevor sitting on a bench.

"Hey!"

"Hi..."

Shuana took a moment to study Trevor. He looker upset and sad and his head was down.

"Trveor... why are you upset" Shauna weakly said

"Because I feel like I'm horrible at battling." Trevor said

"No you're not, you-

"You don't understand!!!" Trevor said getting to his feet "I'm not good at battling I haven't won a single battle yet and I got embarrassed in a crowd full of people. I hate battling"

Shauna was shocked. Trevor was usually calm and calculated but he was anything but that, and she never realized he hadn't won a single battle. But she couldn't just let him feel sorry for himself.

"Trevor. you're not bad at battling, remember everyone learns at different paces. Also everyone has those days when you feel like everything is going bad. No one is perfect." Shauna said

Trevor looked up and simply stared.

"Also don't feel like you have to only battle. There is so much more to Pokémon than battling. There are Pokémon doctors, cosplayers, actors, tons of other things. Don't feel like you have to be pressured to do battling. I chose to be a Pokémon Performer because I'm not really into battling.

"Really... but I'm not even good at catching Pokémon" Trevor whispered

"Yes, it doesn't matter"

"I mean... as long as you're doing what you love does it matter how good you are at it. Shauna said

They had been talking for around 10 minutes and the sun had now set. A few curious pokémon had emerged from the trees.

"Wowwww, you're right" Trevor said sighing in relief

"Come on let's head back." Shauna said

Trevor's POV

Trevor though about what Shauna said. He realized he didn't have to be the best or feel pressured to do something because his friends we're doing it, he was free to do whatever he wanted. He looked up and for the first time noticed the forest. Maybe today wasn't such a bad day at all.
