Deep in the desert pyramids, the Serpentine were in the deepest part searching for the second Fangblade. Skales was looking at the map and a Fangpyre was lighting the way with a torch. Once they got to a certain part of the hallway, Pythor stopped them. Skales ran into Pythor's arm since he wasn't paying attention. "Why musssst we sssstop if the next Fangblade is just ahead of ussss?" Skales asked Pythor.

Pythor his the ground with his Staff and the floor crumbled beneath them. "What good is unlocking the Great Devourer with the four Fangblades, if we're not around to see it? Get the boy!"

"Bring the boy!"

Two Serpentine brought Lloyd to the front and freed him from his chains. "Oh, you're letting me go?" Llyod asked with a bit of hopefulness in his voice.

Pythor chuckled a bit. "Heh, only to fetch, my dear boy. Do step lightly." Pythor leads him to the ledge. Lloyd started to walk against the wall. 'Oh, man. That looks like a long way down.' Lloyd tried to jump to another rock but he nearly fell causing him to scream in fear. He was able to catch himself and he pulled himself up. "Bring me the Fangblade, and I'll let you go," Pythor told him.

This gave Lloyd more motivation to find the next Fangblade. 'Okay, you can do this. Just get the Fangblade and once they let you go, find the Ninja and Uncle.' Lloyd continued and as he went forward he activated a trap. The floor started to give way. He managed to avoid that but he activated another trap, spikes started to come down from the ceiling. He crawled away as fast as he could but the spikes barely managed to hit him. He stood up but it wasn't over yet. Lloyd activated another trap with arrows shooting at him from every direction. He managed to avoid the arrows and got a breather. He leaned against a bō staff that was standing up on its own. Lloyd looked at the pedestal and he didn't see anything. 'What?' Sadly it wasn't over yet. He moved the bō staff causing rocks to fall down. He thankfully missed the trap. He went to the top of the pedestal and saw the Fangblade was gone. He turned and shouted, "It's gone!" His voice echoed across the hall and Pythor heard him.

"It's gone!?" Pythor said shocked. 'No human could find this place! How is it gone!?'

"Where issss it?" Skales asked.

"Do I still get to be freed?" Lloyd asked, his voice echoing through the hall.

"No!" Pythor shouted at him. Lloyd groaned in frustration. 'How will I ever get out of this?'

At the Destiny's Bounty, the Ninja are trying to figure out how to stop Pythor from getting another Fangblade while looking at a hologram of one. Cole looked at the Fangblade and couldn't help but think, 'Where have I seen that before? I know I've seen it but where?'

"Though they got the first one, but there are three more, and we just need one to stop Pythor. They have a map, and we don't, so the question remains: how are we gonna find them first?"

Jay went to Nya's side and said, "I still can't get over the fact that you were the mysterious Samurai. Is anyone else blown away like I am?"

"I, for one, can say that I am. While disguising your scent is simple enough, it's incredible that you were able to do it all the time," Zane told her.

"We're over that. Can we move on?" Kai told them.

Jay said some gibberish then commented, "Someone's a little hot under the collar."

"It appears his impatience is because he has not found inner peace and unlocked his full potential like you and I have, Jay."

"Great observation, Mr. Leopard, but Cole hasn't found it either," Kai told him.

"I got it!"

"You've unlocked it? Oh, why am I the only one!?" Kai shouted in despair. 'Why am I always the last in everything?!'

"No, I figured out where I recognized the Fangblade from. I have a picture of it." Cole ran to get the picture of the Fangblade.

"Oh, haha, is that it? Heh. Good," Kai said with relief in his voice. 'Okay, so I have a chance to get my true potential before Cole.'

"I got it!" Cole returned with a photo album in his hands. He turned to a page that showed a picture with a trophy with one of the Fangblades.

Jay grabbed the book and looked at the trophy, he gasped at the sight. "That's it!" Jay told them. 'Well, one less thing we need to worry about.'

"Back where I grew up, there's this pretty big competition where every year the winner gets the Blade Cup. My dad's won it multiple times," Cole told them.

"You never told us your dad was an accomplished athlete. What sport?" Zane asked him.

A bit embarrassed, Cole said, "Oh, h-he's a, uh...a blacksmith."

Kai then said, "Nothing wrong with that. My father was a blacksmith, too. But I've never heard of a competition..."

"That's because he's not a "blacksmith" blacksmith. He's a...Royal Blacksmith." Cole turned to a page of his album to show them a picture of his dad. He was wearing a suit and holding the Blade Cup. Jay, Nya, and Kai snickered at the sight but Zane was confused.

"I'm not following, what's a Royal Blacksmith? Aren't they like regular blacksmiths?" Zane asked, not sure of the difference. 'I have read about all sorts of jobs, but I have never heard of a Royal Blacksmith.'

"Not exactly, a Royal Blacksmith dances while a blacksmith makes weapons. But that's your dad?" Jay asked.

"But how did the Fangblade become a trophy?" Kai asked him.

"Well, supposedly, the Blade Cup was made by this guy who collected priceless artifacts. His name was something like, uh, Dutch...no, Clutch. Clutch Powers! Anyway, it gets passed on to each year's winner," Cole explained to them.

"Who has it now?" Zane asked him.

Cole shook his head then said, "I don't know. I haven't talked to my father in years."

"Well then, we'll call him up," Kai told him.

"You can't! He thinks I'm in Ninjago City training at the Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts." Cole walked to the steering wheel of the Bounty and groaned as he put his head on it in frustration. "He wanted me to follow in his footsteps. But when I couldn't sing or dance, well I...I ran away." He turned back to the others once he confessed that he ran away. He turned back then continued, "When he sees I can't dance, he'll know I've been lying in all the letters I've been sending him."

"He doesn't know you're a Ninja?" Zane asked him.

"What? You gonna crack some joke that my old man wears a tutu?" Cole asked with a bit of annoyance in his voice as he walked to his friends.

"No, but if we're going to have any chance at getting that Fangblade before they do, we better get our own act in tune," Kai told them as he went to Kai and put a comforting hand on his shoulder. 'Ugh. I really hope this doesn't go wrong.'

At the Realm of Madness, Garmadon and Wu climbed up the mountain. Wu nearly fell down but Garmadon grabbed him and pulled him back up. It was getting dark and Garmadon didn't like it one bit. "I had hoped to reach the summit before the moon has risen. The Craglings never miss a midnight snack."

"Craglings? What is this place? There's no such thing in Ninjago," Wu said with worry in his voice.

"They're a horde unlike any you've seen. Not all places exist to be found, brother. Sometimes, one must revel in the shadows to truly see the light," Garmadon told him. The ground started to shake. Rocks started to form the Craglings. It was five against two. Garmadon took out four katana's and struck the ground hard, causing the monster to fall to the ground. Wu took out a small weapon to fight the Craglings off. Garmadon and Wu ran up the mountain as they destroy some of the Craglings. Wu was grabbed by a Cragling and was pinned down. He was about to be eaten but Garmadon came to save him. "Watch out, brother!" He destroyed the Cragling.

"Thanks." They ran up the mountain some more but were soon surrounded by more Craglings. Wu and Garmadon were not going to give up without a fight. "Just like old times?"

"Just like old times."

"Ninja, go!" The two used their Spinjitzu to fight against the Craglings.

After the Ninja found Lou's, Cole's father, home, they jumped off the Bounty on their vehicles. Jay and Kai cheered as they flew through the air. Once they landed, they didn't have their Ninja gi's on. They had some regular clothes on. They all mostly stuck with their normal colored clothing. Cole wore black pants with a black hoodie, Kai wore a red hoodie with brown pants, Jay wore a blue hoodie with a white t-shirt and blue pants, and Zane wore a white hoodie with light gray pants. They also made sure that Zane's pants had a hole in them for his tail.

Cole opened an instrument case and told them, "Alright, hand them over."

"Ah-uh. But no mortal shall possess all four," Jay said in a joking manner then he gave Cole the Nunchucks of Lightning.

"Very funny," Cole told him in a deadpan tone.

Zane put the Shurikens of Ice in the instrument case then Kai put them in. "You wanna remind me again why we can't keep our weapons?" Kai asked him.

"I told you, my dad can't find out I'm a Ninja. And I don't feel like making up excuses why I'm carrying a giant scythe around with me. Just remember the plan: we find out who has the Fangblade trophy, we snatch it, and then we get the heck out of town," Cole told them. He then knocked on the door and waited.

"Just a moment." Lou opened the door and was a bit surprised, but didn't show it, to see his son.

Cole set the case down and said, "Hey, dad. How long has it been?"

Lou in a stern and a bit annoyed tone he said, "What? You too good for the doorbell?" He slammed the door on them.

"Uh..." Cole was speechless along with his friends.

"Use the bell, son." Cole rang the doorbell and the ring sung in a quartet, "Welcome."

Lou opened the door happily to Cole and the others. "Haha. Come on in, son. It's been forever." Lou hugged Cole and then he saw Kai, Zane, and Jay. "What did you bring? A quartet? Come in, come in. I've got a kettle of lemon honey tea on the stove right now." A gramophone played some background music. After sitting down on the couch, Cole groaned. 'This is so embarrassing.' Cole thought to himself. Lou looked at the photos in remembrance then turned to the others. "Did my son tell you I broke my foot? It was the cha-cha but I swear the percussionist had it in for me."

"No, dad. I didn't tell them about your silly stories."

"Silly stories?"

"Oh, what he meant was, we've been busy training at the...uh..." Kai started but he couldn't remember the name of the school Cole told them about.

"Uh, the Martha Oppenheimer. Yeah," Jay confirmed.

Background music suddenly stopped. "Martha Oppenheimer?" Lou asked with a bit of suspension in his voice.

"What he's trying to say is the Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts," Zane confirmed.

'Ah. It's nice to see that the Marty Oppenheimer is finally allowing hybrids in the school,' Lou thought to himself, very pleased to see them. Lou thought there was nothing wrong with Hybrids. In fact, many of them were fantastic dancers, especially the ones who could fly. There were some here who were thankfully not discriminated by everyone.

"Right! Well, um, see, we have this final research paper we're doing on the history of Ninjago talent, and what we really wanted to know was how can we get our hands on the Blade Cup?" Cole asked him.

Lou took a sip from his tea then told them as he stood in front of the teapot. He used his cane to point at a poster of the Blade Cup. "You're talking about getting your hands on the Blade Cup? The most prized and heavily guarded award in all of Ninjago, the symbol of excellence in harmony and grace? You can't just get it, you have to earn it. You have to exhibit style. Perfect pitch. Push the boundaries of artistic license and win this year's Ninjago Talent Show!"

Kai, Cole, and Zane looked a bit nervous to dance but Jay was excited. "Um, perhaps there's an easier way?" Zane asked him. Zane had never danced before, maybe when he was very young with his parents but not since then.

Lou smiled and had a hint of pride. "Is this why you came? You knew I was injured and when my quartet insisted we shan't go on, you four have come to take our place! Haha, ingenious! My son, bringing forth the next evolution of the Royal Blacksmiths! Let me hear the sweet, sweet sound of harmony." Cole and Kai looked at each other shocked as Lou talked. 'This wasn't how the plan was supposed to go.'

Jay got off the couch and started to sing, "Harmony..."

Zane joined him next, "Harmony..."

Kai joined last, "Harmony..."

Cole groaned and Lou cringed as the singing died down, it was out of tune. Cole set his cup of tea down then said, "Look, dad. We just need the trophy."

"Yeah, we're bringing home the gold and.. and we want you to train us," Kai told him.

Lou sniffled. "I've never been more proud. If you'll excuse me, I need to write a song about my feelings." Lou left the Ninja alone to write his song.

"What are you doing?" Cole asked Kai annoyed.

"Look, we enter this competition so we can get close enough to the Blade Cup. Once we get the Fangblade, we leave town. How hard can this be?" Kai told him.

As two Serpentine walk around Ninjago, scaring all everyone, many hybrids who could fly took some humans away to flee, they spotted a poster for the Talent Show. Mezmo pointed it out. "Hey, get a load of that!"

"Oh, look. A singing competition. I like singing," Snike, a Constrictai told him.

Mezmo slapped Snike behind his head. "No, you idiot! The trophy! It's the Fangblade."

"Wait, that's what Pythor's looking for!" Snike said in realization.

"We have to tell the others." Mezmo took the poster then the two ran off to tell Pythor.

In Lou's house, the Ninja were practicing their act. "Okay, from the top. Five, six, seven, eight." Lou played some keys on a piano.

"Bop till you drop," Kai started.

"Shake it till you break it," Jay said while doing a small dance.

"Move it till you lose it," Zane said while striking a pose.

"Spin it till you win it," Cole did a final spin. Each Ninja sang a lyric that was somewhat in tune.

"Stop, stop. Ugh. Zane, if you wore earplugs it wouldn't surprise me since not even my ears can handle this and I don't have sensitive hearing. Besides, my ears are ready to run away. Kai, love the energy, hate the hair." He hit Kai on the head with his cane. Kai put his hands on his head in a bit of pain. Jay, you're giving a lot, but I need more. Zane, make sure that your tail moves with your pose. It's spinning when you do but it must also strike a pose. It's a part of you, use it well. And Cole, try to act like you wanna be here."

"He's worse than Sensei Wu," Jay whispered to Kai.

"Okay, moving forward. Let's take a look at the big show-stopping climax. Cole, we can't have history repeating itself," Lou told him.

"Dad, it was the Triple Tiger Sashay. I was seven."

"What's the Triple Tiger Sashay?" Kai asked once they got a chance to relax.

"Only the most difficult dance move ever create," Cole told him.

"It's true. Many professionals have dare tried, but it's never been successfully completed. Not even the most skilled hybrid dancers have been able to do it, not even ones with wings could do it without the help of their wings," Lou explained.

"Hence, my father thought a seven-year-old could. But I ended up falling on my face, humiliating myself, and letting my quartet down," Cole told them.

"If you're going to win, you have to go big! Alright, time for a break. Take five." Lou left the room and allowed his son and friends to get a break.

"Uh, I'm starting to see why Cole is so closed off. It's cause twinkle-toes here couldn't deliver the goods. Is that why you ran away?" Jay asked him.

"Oh, I could deliver the goods..." Cole calmed down some then continued, "...look. I'll deal with my father, but let's stick with the plan. All we have to do is keep this charade long enough until we can get our hands on the trophy."

"I don't know. I'm starting to think we can win this thing," Jay said with some confidence in his voice. Cole grunts at him and gave a look of annoyance. "Okay, okay. We'll stick to the plan."

Down in the sewers, Skales and Pythor enter Lou's village in search of the Fangblade. "It'ssss here. I feel it," Skales said with excitement in his voice.

"Calm down. There's no need to attract unwanted attention," Pythor told him.

As Pythor was talking, Skales saw the Ninja. "Look, the Ninja."

The Ninja were practicing their dance without Lou with him. "Bop till you drop."

"Shake it till you break it."

"Move it till you lose it."

"Spin it till you win it." Their dancing and singing had improved since their time with Lou.

Skales rolled his eyes. "Ugh, now there'ssss no chance to take it."

Pythor, however, was not worried. "Patience. We're snakes, remember. They'll never see us coming. Hmmm." Pythor looked at the poster again and smiled as he read it. "Open audition." He chuckles evilly as they headed back down the manhole with a plan ready.

In the Realm of Madness, Garmadon and Wu finally finished off the last Craglings with their spinjitzu.

"The vortex back to Ninjago is just over that buff. Please, you first," Garmadon told Wu.

"Though we live in two different worlds, I still see good in your heart, brother," Wu told him.

Wu and Garmadon continued their trek up the mountain until they made it to the top. The mountain looked like it was spurting blue lava with a blue whirlpool in the volcano. "The battle between our worlds is inevitable. You put too much trust in me." Garmadon pushed Wu down the vortex, but he grabbed the ledge before he fell in.

"But I came for your help to save your son. Did you lead me here to destroy me?" Wu asked with a big of sadness in his voice.

"See you on the other side." He pushed Wu down while he screamed. Wu fell in the whirlpool and Garmadon jumped in after him while laughing evilly. Outside of Jamankai, a blue portal appeared shocking a small group of humans and a few dragonfly, frog, and snake hybrids. The blowback from the portal released Wu from the portal and pushed them all back. The portal also released Garmadon who said with evil in his voice, "I'm back, Ninjago" He laughed evilly.

A few days later, in a concert hall, the Ninja were practicing their routine, they were also in color-coordinated quartet outfits. Zane's had some snow leopard patterns to highlight his hybrid qualities. There were also other humans and hybrids practicing their own routines. Some were singing, dancing, beatboxing, and a small group of butterfly hybrids were practicing a routine with hoops and flying through the air.

"Then kick ball change, barrel roll, barrel turn, and we all do the double wings..."

Jay and Kai bumped into each other while they were doing the double wings. "Ow! Dude, you gotta follow me," Jay told Kai annoyed.

"Follow you? You're two beats off," Kai told him back annoyed.

"My friends, please calm down. Fighting amongst each other will not solve anything," Zane told them.

"Guys, guys! Let's not make this any harder than it needs to be. We just stick to the plan and keep up the charade until the trophy's revealed. Once we steal the Blade Cup, we can argue all we want once we get back home," Cole told them. The tone in his voice suggested that he was ready to leave.

"But this is your hometown, Cole. Don't you want to try and win it?" Jay asked.

Cole groaned. "The only dance step I wanna perform is called "get-me-out-of-this-nuthouse-and-let's-burn-these-memories-from-my-head"." Unbeknownst to Cole, his father heard every word.

"What?"

Cole turned around and looked at his father. "Dad, I..."

Lou: You...you were going to steal it?

Cole sighed. He had a feeling that this day would come. He knew that he would have to tell his father the truth but he just wasn't ready. "Dad, I didn't mean for you to hear that, but... but I'm glad you did. There's something I've been wanting to tell you. All these years, I haven't been training to be a singer or a dancer. I found something new that I'm really good at. Dad..." Cole used Spinjitzu to change into his gi. "I'm a Ninja." Lou gasped. He was speechless as the others took off their hats. Cole asked got his scythe from the instrument case. "And the truth is, if we don't steal that Fangblade... I mean, Blade Cup... there's other people that will. Bad people. Serpentine. And we need it to save the world. I know how ridiculous this sounds, but I'm proud of who I am, and I want you to be proud of me, too."

Cole walked closer to his father but Lou refused his kind gesture. "I can't be proud of any son who thinks stealing is right. And I'm not gonna wait around to watch you make a mockery of our family's legacy." Lou turned and left.

"Dad, I..." Cole tried to get his father to come back but Lou just walked away and slammed the door from behind as he left the concert hall. Cole groaned. 'This is all my fault. If our relationship was strained before it's even more strained now.'

The other Ninja joined Cole by his side. "I'm sure he didn't mean that," Kai told him trying to make him feel better.

"Maybe if he saw you in action," Jay said.

"No, it's-it's okay," Cole told them. A group of disguised Serpentine walked out of a dressing room. Cole looked at the dressing room they left. "Treble Makers?"

"Wait a minute. What are they doing here?" Jay asked.

Zane sniffed the air and told them, "We aren't alone. Pythor is here too. Along with other Serpentine."

Once Zane said that they could hear Pythor's voice, "I can't help it if I offend anyone. My only job will be to tell the truth."

Kai opened a small part of the curtain and saw a human judge and a tiger hybrid judge looking at a disguised Pythor, he was using a beard to disguise himself. "You don't look anything like your photo," The Tiger Hybrid told him.

"Ah, sadly, but the camera adds a few pounds. I also use photo editing skills since I tend to be a bit embarrassed to strongly resemble a giant snake. Besides, I'm just happy to have the opportunity to judge this prestigious competition."

The real judge was in Pythor's stomach and he shouted, "Wait a minute. I'm still here! He swallowed me! He's not a judge!" The other judges gasped in shock.

"Quiet, or else I won't let you out."

"My apologies."

A group of three men with weapons came out with the Blade Cup. The trophy was set on a pedestal by Pythor. "The Fangblade."

The tiger hybrid corrected him, "Uh, yeah. You mean the Blade Cup."

"Yes, yes. Whatever." In the audience, Skales and other Hypnobrai were in the audience with fake beards as well.

Kai closed the curtain and told them, "Zane's right. Pythor's here. It looks like we're not the only ones planning to steal the Blade Cup."

"This complicates things," Zane commented.

"Then I say we make our move. We can't risk losing out again. I say we steal it," Jay said with confidence but Cole stopped them. "We're not gonna steal it. We're gonna win this competition, but we're gonna do it our way."

"Our way?" Jay, Zane, and Kai asked confused.

The Treble Makers were singing very badly on stage. Pythor and the Serpentine were enjoying the music but the other judges and audience members were not. The glass of water that the human judge was drinking broke due to the bad singing. "My poison lies over the ocean, my poison lies over the sea. My poison lies over the ocean, so bring back my poison to me!"

The Serpentine and Skulkin cheered, but everyone else booed. Pythor gave them a 10, but the judges scored 6. Pythor growls at them and they flipped their score cards to a 9.

"And last but not least, The Royal Blacksmi..." The Announcer heard something in his ear piece and get a sheet of paper from someone. "Uh, hold on. Uh, this just in, there's been a switch. Taking the stage next is Spin Harmony!"

"If we're gonna do this, I want everyone to see who we are," Cole told the others.

'I have not done something like this before. I may have conquered my fear of humans but that doesn't mean I'm ready to show myself to other humans.'

Jay put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Zane. It's just nerves. You'll be fine."

"Last call for Spin Harmony!"

"Let's do this, for Cole!" Jay said with confidence.

"If we can do the Tornado of Creation, we can score perfect 10s out there," Kai suggested.

Zane, feeling a bit more confidence, said, "I can say anything and it will only go to elevate our team unity."

Cole smiled under his mask. "I'm glad you guys are my friends. Let's do the whip!"

"Ninja, go!" They did their spinjitzu, ready to get the Fangblade.

"Well, it looks like the last act is no longer performing. Haha, that means I can give this to the winners..." Pythor was about to take the Blade Cup but the announcer came out. "Ladies and gentlemen, Spin Harmony!"

The Weekend Whip played as the crowd cheered loudly. The Ninja were doing a completely different dance then what they were taught by Lou. Pythor ordered the Serpentine to attack them. Three Hypnobrai got on the stage. Zane kicked one of them from Jay's back. Cole spun Kai around to kick away the other Hypnobrai. Zane then punched a Hypnobrai, knocking them out.

Jump up, kick back, whip around and spin. The Ninja jumped up and did their spinjitzu. And then we jump back, do it again. A Fangpyre bit the rope of a snadbag, it fell down and before it hit Jay, Zane kicked it away in beat with the music. Ninja, go. Ninja, go. Jay, Cole, and Kai used their spinjitzu to defeat more Serpentine. Come on, come on, and do the Weekend Whip. (-end whip.) Zane danced and was enjoying himself since he was doing the moonwalk and did a small spin. He even did a small wave with his tail. Ninja, go. Ninja, go.

Time seemed to slow down as three Fangpyres came from below stage. Cole used the Triple Tiger Sashay them shocking everyone in the entire audience, humans and hybrids alike. Zane gasped. "The Triple Tiger Sashay."

Everyone but the Serpentine and Skulkin cheered for them. "Oh, he did it! The Triple Tiger Sashay! He's danced the impossible!" The Announcer said as he bowed at Cole's feet. Kai hugged Cole as the others joined him by his side to wave at the audience.

The judges gave them a 10 but Pythor gave a 0 this caused the audience to boo at him. Judge 3 managed to get his arm out and wrote a 1 on his score card which turned it into a 10. The crowd cheered again at the Ninja's perfect score. "What? Wait. I didn't write that!"

In the background, a janitor was sweeping up the downed Serpentine. "It's a perfect score! Spin Harmony wins the Blade Cup!" The two guards brought the Ninja the Blade Cup and Cole took it. He held it up high and the audience cheered even louder. They all even stood on their seats.

"Oh, this is a travesty of epic proportions! I demand for there to be a recount!"

Cole looked around the audience for his dad, but his seat is empty. He saw Jay's parents but not his dad. He groaned. 'I guess me lying to him was the last straw.'

The Ninja went backstage and while Cole was silent, the others were feeling pumped. "I've never felt more alive. All those human and hybrids, it felt amazing to see them excited for us and our win! I've never seen anything like it!" Zane said with excitement in voice.

"Hahaha! We did it!" Jay said with excitedly. Jay, Kai, and Zane chuckled as they did a small dance.

"No, Cole did it. Because of you, Ninjago will sleep safely tonight," Kai told him.

"Thanks, but go on and celebrate without me. Winning this doesn't feel the same without my dad being able to..." Cole handed Jay the Blade Cup and after he did that he heard his father. "Cole!"

They all turned and saw Lou standing there with a smile on his face. "Dad?"

"I saw it all, son. I saw it all."

The two hugged with the others watching them. They left the hug and Cole removed his mask. "You saw me dance?"

"More importantly, I saw you fight. Those Serpentine were up to no good, trying to steal the show, and I saw you stand up for what is right. I was wrong. I shouldn't have pushed you so hard to follow in my footsteps. Everyone is born with a special talent inside that's just been waiting to get out. And you were born to be a Ninja." As Lou was talking, the others walked closer to the father and son.

"You're not mad?"

"How can I be? My son's a hero!"

Pythor, still in his disguise, slithered up to them. "Eh, sorry to interrupt your little family reunion, but did you know..." He ripped off the beard showing his failed disguise. "...it's me, Pythor."

"You couldn't fool us, Pythor," Cole told him as they walked to him with Lou not far behind.

"I didn't want to miss our big show stopper."

Two Constrictai pushed a crate and knocked over some stage lights, the equipment fell down and it was headed for Lou. He fell to the ground and had no time to escape. "Dad!" Seconds before the equipment fell on Lou, Cole jumped on his to save his life.

Pythor laughed as he escaped with the Blade Cup while the other Ninja coughed from the dust from the fallen equipment.

"They took the Fangblade," Jay told them.

"Cole!" Kai shouted. They ran to the pile of equipment to help Cole but before they did anything, they saw that, from the instrument case, Cole's scythe was glowing. Similar to when Zane and Jay discover their True Potential.

"He found his True Potential," Zane told them.

The pile of equipment started to glow and Cole grunted while lifting up the equipment with his newfound powers.

Lou coughed and was in disbelief. "Wha-what? How did we survive that?" Cole pulled his father out and Lou looked at his son shocked. "Son?" Cole closed his eyes and embraced his powers. 'This must've been what Jay and Zane felt like when they discovered their True Potential.'

"Cole's found his True Potential. His relationship with his father must have been holding him back," Zane theorized as he walked closer to the pile of epuipment.

"He's indestructible!" Jay said as he joined Zane by his side.

"Ugh, great. So now I really am the only one who hasn't figured out my special power," Kai said clearly upset. 'I don't understand. What is holding me back?'

Cole soon returned to normal and it seemed like he didn't remember what happened and he was exhausted. "Is everyone alright? What just happened?"

Lou smiled and gave Cole a comforting hand. "We're all okay, son."

The next day, back at Lou's house, the Ninja were drinking tea. They were all pretty excited since Cole discovered his True Potential.

"Oh, man," Kai said and all together the Ninja were talking at the same time. "That was really cool," Jay told them. "You found your True Potential," Zane said with excitement with his tail moving a bit behind him.

"I guess the scorecard now reads Pythor: two Fangblades, Ninja: zero," Jay told them then he drank a bit of his tea.

"Yeah, but all we need is one, and there are still two left to find," Cole told them.

"Who knows? Maybe when I unlock my True Potential, I'll turn into the destined Green Ninja," Kai said with confidence in his voice.

Zane, Jay and Cole laughed. "Yeah, dream on," Cole told him. "Ha, okay," Jay said.

"The only thing you're destined for is a more inflated ego," Cole told Kai.

Lou walked in and told them with a photo in his hands. "It may not be the trophy, but it sure will look good on my wall." He hung up a picture of the Ninjas' victory from the talent show. The Ninja walked to the picture and smiled at the sight of it.

"All right!" Cole said with happiness.

"Excellent," Zane said.

"Awesome," Kai said.

"Nice," Jay said then he chuckled a bit.

"As far as I'm concerned, you're all my family now." They all embraced in a big side hug.

"Yeah," Cole said.
