On a tv set somewhere in town, it was time for a Late Morning show, in which a host introduced four notable women.
"First up, the rookie hero who debut earlier this year! Meet Mount Lady!" The woman in question made her way to her seat, waving at those in the studio who cheered her.
"Thanks for having me," Mount Lady said.
"Of course, next we have the daughter of a famous Martial Artist and one half of a Super Hero duo, meet Saiyaman 2!" the host said.
Videl walked in, bowing a couple of times, "Pleasure to be here."
"Next we have a pro teaching at UA High, the incomparable Midnight!" the host said.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance," Midnight greeted.
"And finally, her husband may be one of the top heroes in the world, but this Princess is nothing to be scoffed at, no Prince required for this Fairy Tale hero, meet The Amethyst Sorceress!" the host concluded.
"Good day to you everyone," Twilight said, making her way into the room.
"Thank you for joining us, please have a seat," the host said, the four girls sitting close together on a table. "Let's start with you Midnight, your debut outfit caused quite a stir." A picture of Midnight's old costume was shown, it was rather revealing, not that Midnight seemed bothered. "It resulted in the Exposed Skin in Costumes build to be taken in by the local government. Your sexiness changed the laws of the country!"
"Eh, still looks a bit adult in my opinion," Mount Lady commented.
"I mean, her outfit is a bit risque, but you can probably argue that for any hero," Twilight said. "Even I'm no stranger to that, and I usually aim to be a family loved hero like my husband."
"Miss Sorceress is correct, any hero can be used as a point towards...sexy attires so to speak," Midnight said. "Though because of that law I need to use thin fabrics instead. The nature of some people's quirks can be restricted by the clothing. Sexiness isn't the aesthetic, it's needed to properly do our jobs."
"Sometimes it's a gender thing," Videl said. "No one seems to care much when a guy does it, but I've seen a pro hero female with little clothes it causes a stir. Heroes like Wonder Woman and Elektra have exposed skin, but it's not them trying to look a certain way, it's to help them feel less restricted."
"That's true, I mean it's no different than guys who expose their muscles," Twilight said. "The Hulk just wears shorts, surprisingly that's his only piece of clothing that stays on when he transforms."
"That is rather convenient," Midnight agreed.
"Honestly my costume was originally a little more exposed since I originally did not have my fabric. My husband was surprised at first but I wasn't bothered to have exposed skin, I felt comfortable enough with myself to wear just my top and my shorts. But since my current fabric was created by Doctor Strange to help make me bullet proof, create endurance to magic and protect myself from the harsh elements that I went with it, only because it served a purpose," Twilight explained. "The human body isn't something to be shameful about, we shouldn't feel that we need to adjust our clothes a certain way. I mean my husband needs skin tight clothing to move around freely, not because he wants to look sexy but he needs to be efficient. And believe me, there are many girls who find his skin-tight suit very appealing, he's pretty ranked high in that, alongside Nightwing."
"Well I must say, Miss Sorceress, Saiyaman 2, you've both raised very excellent points," Midnight said. "In the end the most important thing is to have a job well done, that' more attractive than any super suit.."
"Or maybe you just like the attention," Mount Lady chimed in, much to the annoyance of the girls.
"Excuse me, are you trying to start a fight!?" Midnight asked.
"Come now, let's not get heated," Twilight pleaded.
"Yeah, Mount Lady was probably joking," Videl said. "Isn't that right?"
"Oh yes, I didn't mean any harm, I think you're amazing Midnight, so are you Miss Sorceress," Mount Lady said. "Despite your current ages."
"Huh!?" Twilight asked.
"Aw sh*t," Videl said, the censors catching her swear.
"HEY YOU CAN ADD ALL THE MAKE-UP YOU WANT GIRLY BUT YOU'RE NOT THAT YOUNG YOURSELF YOU KNOW!" Midnight shouted.
"ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT IF THE OLD GENERATION TRIES TOO HARD THEN THE REST OF US HAVE TO TRY EVEN HARDER!" Mount Lady added.
"That's kind of the point of heroics!" Twilight said.
"Oh go back into your husband's shadow you hag!" Mount Lady shouted.
Twilight's eye twitched, "That's it!"
"Twilight wait!" Videl pleaded.
Suddenly there was a big scuffle on the set, resulting in clothing being torn off a few of the girls, many watching at home either mortified like Mayday and Flurry, embarrassed like Peter and Gohan, or just aroused, like Mineta.
"OH THANK YOU GOD!" Mineta shouted to the skies.
Later came school time for the UA students. Any talk of Twilight's earlier TV appearance was instantly negated the moment Mayday walked into the room, looking very embarrassed and ready to destroy the first person to mention what happened to her mom.
Did not change the fact that most of the school has already seen certain parts of her mom, along with Videl, Mount Lady and Midnight, the latter not feeling too bothered by what happened earlier, having vented most of her frustration already.
Class 1-A was sitting in their room, Aizawa prepping them for the final exams, "I know you've all likely been studying really hard for the test, but don't neglect your training. The written exam is only one element. You still need to prepare for the Practical Exams, good luck."
The moment Aizawa left, Kamnari began to freak, "Aw, I've barely even taken notes this semester!" The poor boy was ranked 22 out of 22 in his class, Mina ranked 21, though not as bothered, or so it seemed. "Between the Sports Festival and Internship I couldn't find time to study!"
"It's true that we have not had a lot of free time lately," Tokoyami said, who was ranked 16 out of 22."
"We didn't learn much when we took our midterms, though I'm kind of worried about the finals," Sato, ranked 15 said to Koda, ranked 14. "They probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us."
"Too bad you're not as gifted as me," Mineta said.
"You're ranked nine!? That's the past halfway point!" Kaminari said. "But weirdos like you are only likable if you're kind of stupid!"
"Yeah! So much for being one of us!" Mina said. "No way you're that much smarter!"
"If you think it' bad now, wait til I break Top 5," Mineta boasted. "Girls love a genius after all, I read about it in an article about Mr. Fantastic, him being one of the smartest men on the planet makes him quite the babe magnet."
"Isn't he married?" Kaminari asked.
"That won't stop the girls from wanting a Fantastic Time," Mineta said, winking at the pun.
"Better hope his son doesn't hear you say that," Mina said.
"Eh, his son looks like a bit of a push-over, I'm not too worried about him," Mineta said.
"Don't call Frankie a push-over! He's really tough when he wants to be!" Flurry warned.
"Ashido, Kaminari," Izuku, ranked 4 of 22 said, getting their attention. "We still have time to study, that way we'll all go to the training camp together."
"Yes, as class rep I have high hopes that we'll make UA proud!" Iida said, the boy ranked second.
"It's not hard to pass, just pay attention in class," sixth ranked Shoto said.
"So harsh!" Kaminari whined. "Why you gotta do me like that?"
"Don't worry, I can help anyone catch up if they need to," Momo insisted.
"You're the best, Yao-Momo!" Kaminari and Mina declared.
Momo's happy demeanor quickly faded, as noticed even by Shoto, "Though I might be useless during the Practical."
"I've been trying to study but I could use some hep too," Jiro said to Momo, the girl ranked 9th. "I'm having trouble with Quadratic Functions."
"Oh, really?" Momo asked.
"Me too please," Sero requested, ranked 19. "Classical Japanese is hard!"
Oujiro, rank 11, walked over. "Room for one more?"
"Can I come too!?" Flurry asked, the girl ranked 13th. "Studying with friends looks like fun!"
"Oh my, this is wonderful! Let's do it then!" Momo said, getting a positive reaction from her friends. "We can hold a study session at my residence over the weekend."
"Seriously!? I can't wait to see your house!" Mina said.
"I bet it's really pretty!" Flurry stated.
"I can call mother to have the great hall set up for us!" Momo excitedly said, her personality getting all bouncy. "Does anyone have a preference for tea!?"
"Great Hall? Tea!?" Many of the classmates wondered.
"When we're finished we'll al be model students! I'll push you all forward!" Momo said.
"Is she humble bragging or just talking too fast?" Kaminari wondered.
"She's so happy and bouncy that I don't even mind that she basically went rich girl on us," Jiro felt.
"She's talking like Izuku now, that's so adorable," Flurry realized.
Kirishima, ranked 17 chuckled a bit to himself, "Wow, maybe I should try studying with her."
"Or I can just beat the lessons into your skull!" Bakugo, ranked third said.
Mayday, ranked 10, grumbled to herself in the corner, "This is bogus. Flurry! Why are you studying with Momo! Mom and dad tutor us!"
"Because it's fun to study with friends!" Flurry said. "If you ask then I'm sure that Momo will-"
"No!" Mayday said.
"Come on, it can help, I mean you're ranked high but you're still behind Momo and Tenya, even Katsuki's ahead of you," Flurry said.
"What do you mean 'even me'!?" Bakugo shouted.
"Well you are a bit of a brute so I didn't think you were that intelligent," Flurry said. "Of course, Saiyaman did say you remind him of Prince Vegeta, sadistic but cunning, so maybe you are intelligent."
"I can see the resemblance," Kirishima said, looking over to Bakugo. "You both have that drive to be the best. He also feels like there's someone in his way to being the best, like you do with Midoriya."
"He's not my rival!" Bakugo shouted. "Ugh, why does everyone say that!?"
"Because its obvious!" Mayday said.
"Can it tenth place!" Bakugo shouted.
Mayday brought out her First Place Sports Festival Medal, "Do I need to remind you who I am!? Or should I beat this into your skull!?"
"Why do you still carry that around!?" Kaminari asked.
"No fighting!" Tenya ordered. "We should be focusing on our finals, not our quarrels!"
"I'll take first in the finals too, gotta remind everyone who they're dealing with," Mayday said, placing her feet on the desk.
"What a brat," Most of the class thought.
"Spider-Man spoils that child too much," Tokoyami mused.
"But he is a good tutor," Ochako, ranked 8th said. "I just wish he and his wife had a little more time, though Spider-Man did teach me a lot of algebra, he also gave me a brief explanation of chemistry, I even got to see how he makes his webbing,."
"That so? What does he use?" Tokoyami asked.
"He didn't tell me exactly, he said it's 'Trade Secret', but if I study hard and become his sidekick, he'll let me in on more secrets!" Ochako said. "That webbing looks fun too, I bet I can use it well with my quirk, make the bad guys float, web them and fly them around like a kite! Or if I need to float myself, I can use the webbing to help keep myself in one place! So many possibilities! I just might become Spider-Man's sidekick after all this is over! Maybe I can put 'Spider' in my name! Like Gravity Spider or something!"
"You must have really enjoyed your internship," Tokoyami said.
Ochako nodded her head, "Like I told the girls, he's like a big brother, and he's very involved in both my training and my tutoring. He always did his best to help me, he never gave up on me and he was very motivational. He also fed me, a lot, said that a hero does can't work on an empty stomach .Honestly he's just so caring and inspiring, that's the kind of hero I'd like to be."
"Well that's good to hear," Tokoyami said. "He does indeed sound like a kind-hearted man, but perhaps it is that easy going nature of his that resulted in his daughter turning out like this. Might have pampered her too much."
"He's aware," Ochako said. "He told me he never liked getting mad at her, because the last time he got mad at someone...he never saw that person again."
Tokoyami noticed a disheartened look on Ochako's face. "What happened?"
"I...I'm sorry, it's personal to Peter, I shouldn't have brought it up," Ochako said. "Though, if you know about his motivation to being a hero, you could probably figure it out."
Tokoyami was confused a moment, but he did remember something he once heard, that Spider-Man's biggest motivation was the death of his uncle. Tokoyami wondered how that tied into what Ochako said. But not he feels a bit more empathy for the hero, yet it just made him dislike Mayday more, for a humble man to raise such a bratty daughter, one who probably uses her charm to get her dad to give her what she wanted in life. He won't judge Spider-Man's parenting, he believes the hero did his best and did not intend his daughter to turn out like this, but for Mayday's sake, she better lighten up.
Yuga looked on to the rest of the class, smiling to himself. "Everyone is losing their minds over this but cramming now won't do them any good."
Shouji, ranked 12, got Yuga's attention. "Shouldn't you be concerned? you did pretty poorly in the midterms."
"Who? Moi?" Yuga asked, the boy ranked 20. "I did just fine thank you!"
Later at the Cafeteria, Izuku, Mayday, Shoto, Toru, Ochako, Tenya, Flurry and Tsuyu all sat together, wondering what their testing will be like.
"I'm worried about the practical, what's it gonna be like?" Izuku wondered.
"I don't think it'll be anything too crazy," Tenya said.
"Have you seen this school? I'm expecting hell," Mayday said.
"Don't say that, this school is reasonable," Tenya said.
"The written exam questions will be stuff from class, so I should be able to do those," Izuku said.
"Yeah, you pay attention in class, unlike our other dumbass classmates," Mayday said.
Ochako turned to the spider girl, looking a bit curious, "Uh, Mayday, you see to be in a bad mood today, maybe try to lighten up?" One glare from Mayday shut Ochako up. "Or not."
"She's probably still mad because of what happened with her mom on t-" Tsuyu's theory was interrupted by Mayday flinging some rice at her head. "Ribbit!"
"Don't talk about that!" Mayday warned.
"Mayday!" Flurry grabbed a napkin and wiped Tsuyu's head. "Sorry Tsuyu-chan. Mayday's just been a little cranky lately, Auntie Twilight's wardrobe malfunction was just the final straw for her."
"Don't talk about my mood!" Mayday said, throwing some rice at Flurry's head.
"Cut that out!" Flurry shouted, wiping her own head off.
"Behave Mayday," Tenya warned. "I'm sorry abut your mother's unfortunate moment but that's no reason to lash out."
"It is very improper," Shoto said. "Show some dignity."
"Who asked you, why are you even here anyway?" Mayday asked.
"Mayday I told you to cut it out!" Flurry scolded. "Shoto's here because me, Tenya and Izuku want him here, he was there for us at Hosu and he's a really nice boy. He was just dealing with his own troubles, like you, but unlike you he knew when to mature up."
Mayday scoffed in annoyance, "Whatever Flurry. Keep living your fantasy."
"Squall," Flurry muttered, Mayday's ears twitching. Flurry was lucky she was Mayday's cousin or there would be more hell. "Anyway Izuku, you shouldn't have to worry that much about the finals. I think we'll be fine."
"But the anticipation is driving me nuts," Izuku said.
"It's a comprehensive test of everything we've learned this year," Toru said, the girl ranked 18 on the midterm.
"That's all Mr. Aizawa is willing to tell us," Tsuyu said. This girl was ranked 7th on her midterm.
"That means it'll cover combat, rescue and basic training," Ochako said.
"We can't just study we have to stay in great physical shape," Izuu said, then was suddenly elbowed in the head.
"Hey! Watch where you're walking!" Mayday shouted upon noticing that it was Neito Monama who bumped Izuku.
"Sorry, his head's so big that it's hard to miss," Monama taunted.
"Monama from Class 1-B?" Izuku said. "Hey was that really an-"
"I heard you guys stumbled across the hero killer," Monama said, just the reminder causing some brief anxiety from Flurry. "Just like the Sport's Festival, Class 1-A takes the spotlight. But I hope you're aware that the attention you have is not from you being good heroes, just you getting into so much trouble."
"At least our class stays relevant, I just feel bad that two of my friends are stuck with you losers," Mayday said.
"Cute, but try considering this you overrated pompous fools," Monama began. One day we're gonna get caught up in your troubles, and be victims of circumstance. What horrible villains will you bring down upon us? What demons-"
"Neito!" Franklin was heard shouting, making his way over with Rina. "Stop bothering them will you?"
"Class Deputy Richards, here to the rescue of your friends and their accomplices?" Monama asked. Tsuyu blushed at the sight of Franklin, seeing the boy making his way over with determination in his eyes, not wanting to see anyone bullied, the eyes of a kind boy.
"We don't need to rescue Mayday from squat, she'll thrash you worse than she did to Katsuki Bakugo," Rina said.
"But you are setting a bad example for us again, do you really want to stress Itsuka out even more?" Franklin asked.
"Worried about Kendo there Richards? Aren't you just the most considerate-" Monama's taunt was interrupted by a karate chop to his head from the girl in question, the boy falling over and nearly dropping his lunch, though Kendo was quick to grab it.
"Not funny Monama, you heard what happened to Iida, be a bit more courteous, and don't disrespect Franklin," Kendo scolded, then turned to the class. "I'm sorry about that, there's probably a hole where his heart should be."
"Is he unconscious?" Izuku wondered seeing how out of it Monama was.
"Keep that guy on a leash before he gets hurt," Mayday said.
"See, she agrees the leash is a good idea!" Rina said.
"Rina," Franklin scolded, then turned back to the class. "We'll do better." He noticed one girl in particular that got his attention. "Oh, hi Tsu."
"Hi Franklin," Tsuyu shyly greeted, that catching Mayday's attention, same with Flurry.
"So, I heard you all talking abut the Practical Exams," Kendo said. "Rumor is that it's combat against robots like the entrance exams."
"Sounds easy doesn't it?" Rina said. "We just do what we did then."
"I never fought them though," Franklin said.
"Told you not to take the easy way in Frankie," Mayday scolded, Shoto glaring slightly at her.
"She doesn't even take it easy on her friends it seems," Shoto felt. "If not for her father's ties I wonder how many friends she would even have?"
"He'll be fine May, Frankie's tough," Rina said.
"Wait, excuse me but how do you know this?" Izuku asked.
"A friend of mine who's a few grades up told me," Kendo said. "Might be cheating but I figured what's the harm in knowing ahead of time?"
"Actually that's really resourceful," Izuku said, as he began to mutter. "Gathering information ahead of time might also be part of the test..."
As he muttered, Rina began to laugh out loud, "Wow, he's such a dork!"
"Hey! Only I can call him that Rina!" Mayday shouted.
"Oh, did I insult your boyfriend Mayday?" Rina taunted.
That snapped Izuku out of his daze, "B-boyfriend!?"
"Boyfriend!?" Mayday asked, somewhat annoyed, though her blush didn't help.
"Heh...boyfriend?" Ochako said, looking a bit worried.
Before things could escalate even further, Monama began to regain consciousness, "Kendo you fool, you just gave away our whole strategic advantage!"
"Put a sock in it," Rina said, bonking Monama on the head, knocking him back out. She grabbed him by the leg and began dragging him. "See you back at the table Itsuka."
"That Monama..." Kendo said, then turned back to the class. "Well it was nice seeing you."
"And don't worry, you'll all do great on the exams," Franklin said. "Just believe in yourselves."
"Thanks, we wish you good luck too, ribbit, Tsuyu said, getting a small blush from Franklin, the boy smiling it off.
"Hey Izuku, hope your quirk usage got better, don't want to break your arms again," Franklin said.
"I'll be fine, I had training," Izuku said.
"We'll all nail this, just don't slack on your training Frankie," Mayday warned.
"We want you to pass too," Flurry said. "You and Rina."
"We'll all do our best, bye now," Franklin said. The two 1-B students left, Tsuyu still feeling a bit flustered from the sight of Franklin, this not going unnoticed by the girls.
"So, since when are you and Franklin on a first name basis Tsuyu?" Mayday asked.
"Huh?" Tsuyu snapped out of it. "Uh...well we met during the internship, he was helping put out some fires that Pyro guy caused."
"Interesting though, you almost never call anyone by their first names, at least not a boy," Mayday said. "Izuku helped you out during the USJ incident, and you still only call him by his last name."
"So? You call all the boys by their first name," Tsuyu said.
"Yes, but you almost never do that, that's the difference," Mayday said. "You don't call any boy by their first name, yet you called Franklin by his."
"Well...he's a foreigner, so it's not like he'll think anything of it," Tsuyu insisted.
"I'm a foreigner too yet most of the class call me by my last name, honestly I always figured you called me by my first name because I'm a girl and it's probably less embarrassing," Mayday said. "Even that Monama guy just called Frankie by his last name so not all us non-Japanese get a pass. What's even more curious is that when he saw you, he called you 'Tsu'."
"All my friends call me 'Tsu', even Midoriya does," Tsuyu said. "It's nothing Mayday, just friendly banter."
"Alright, have it your way, but I'll find out," Mayday warned. "I have my ways."
Flurry shook her head in annoyance, "Mayday, stop trying to freak Tsuyu-chan out. Its good that she and Frankie seem to be friends." "From the vibe I just picked up, they might be more than just friends, how exciting!"
Later on, the students relayed the robots message to their classmates.
"Wow! this will be super easy if it's just robots!" Kaminari said.
"This is totally wonderful!" Mina said.
"Don't you two struggle with quirk control?" Shouji commented. "Why are you so happy?"
"But robots I don't have to worry about control," Kaminari said. "I can go all out."
"Same here!" Mina said.
"You just need to get Yaoyorozu's tutoring and you'll be all set!" Sero said.
"YEAH! WE'RE SET!" both happy students cheered.
During this, Izuku began remembering his intended battle against All for One, the boy clenching his fists, "I have to make everything count if I'm gonna be ready one day, I'll make this training worth the effort."
"You look tense again," Mayday said, getting Izuku's attention. "You doing alright?"
"Huh?" Izuku turned to Mayday. "Oh, I'm fine, I'm just..."
"It really shouldn't matter if you're up against robots," Bakugo was heard saying, snapping Izuku out of his explanation. "Why are you morons so excited anyway?"
Both Mina and Kaminari seemed offended by the insult, the latter speaking up, "Hey! Don't call us-"
"Shut up!" Bakugo shouted, startling the students. "Just learn to control your quirks! Got it!?"
"Is Katsuki being...encouraging?" Flurry wondered.
Bakugo turned his attention to Izuku, "Hey! Deku!" That got the boy's attention, but also Mayday's, who scooted close to her friend, ready to shield him. Bakugo noticed but he didn't care, she could cuddle him for all it's worth, it didn't matter. "I don't know what's up with your power, but I saw the way you're using it now. I don't know if your imitation is suppose to be your creepy way of flattery, but I really don't give a damn, honestly it pisses me off that you're taking my style."
"Does he mean when Deku was jumping around like him the other day?" Ochako wondered.
"Sounds like it," Flurry believed.
"We're gonna be getting individual scores in the upcoming finals, new rankings, so well all know exactly where were standing!" Bakugo said. "I'll show you how much better I am!" Bakugo turned his attention to Mayday. "As for you Parker, keep enjoying your win for however long you'd like, flaunt that stupid piece of metal to your heart's content. Because after the finals, it's not gonna mean a damn thing!" Bakugo pointed to both teens, "I'll kill the both of you in these finals! And prove that I'm the real Number One!"
With that all said, Bakugo made his way out the classroom, slamming the door behind him.
"Yeah, I'd like to see you try," Mayday said, smirking to herself.
"Wow, he's really worked up," Kirishima said.
"Must be impatience," Tokoyami said. "Or pure hatred."
As the boy left, Aizawa had noticed him from behind a corner, having overheard him. "Bakugo...looks like The Human Torch couldn't fully rid you of your arrogance. What should I have expected from a man who in many ways, isn't that different."
Later on at Momo's house, Kaminari, Oujiro, Jiro, Mina, Sero and Flurry waited outside the gate, all of them gawking at the size of the house.
"Whoa! I didn't know he was this loaded!" Kaminari said. "This is probably one of the richest houses I've seen!"
"It's really pretty," Flurry said.
"Uh, you're a Princess right?" Sero asked. "How would you compare this house to your own?"
"I mean, I live in a castle so it's not a fair comparison," Flurry said. "It's still pretty big, even Uncle Peter doesn't have a house like this, only because he doesn't care for stuff like that."
"Makes sense, he seems pretty modest," Mina said.
Jiro rang the doorbell, the gates immediately opening, "I've been waiting for you, please come on in!"
Everyone waited in the great hall, many of them feeling a bit awkward about being in a house like that, with the exception of Flurry, who's used to nobility type life styles.
"Man I feel out of place," Oujiro commented.
"Same," Sero agreed.
Momo came in, still looking bouncy and happy, "Anything wrong?"
"No, not at all," Her friends said.
Elsewhere everyone else was studying in their own ways, Izuku doing some exercise as he studied, Ochako nearly falling asleep while trying to remember all Peter had taught her in heroics and academics, Tenya jogging and getting his blood flowing, Bakugo literally beating the answers into Kirishima's head, Mayday relaxing on the couch and reading some notes while listening to her music and Momo doing her tutoring lectures.
Then came the three days of exams, the class all doing their best on them, some worried, some confident, some indifferent and some bored.
By the end of the third day, the testing was finally over. "Pencils down everyone," Aizawa said. "Last person in each row hand the answer sheets to me."
As Momo was collecting the papers from her row, both Mina and Kaminari were quick to express their gratitude.
"Thanks so much for your help!" Mina said.
"I didn't leave anything blank, that's a new record for me!" Kaminari added.
Momo seemed very relieved, as was everyone else who was glad to have the testing be over. Next came the Practical.
Aizawa stood alone in front of the testing area with the class right in front of him, everyone wearing their hero gear.
"Alright, time for the last test," Aizawa said. "Remember, you can fail this final, if you want to go to camp, don't do anything stupid."
"We got it, just bring on the robots," Mayday said.
"Who said anything about robots?" Aizawa said, confusing the class.
"Wait, aren't we fighting robots? I mean that's what I heard," Kaminari said.
"Was there a mistake?" Mina asked. "I mean I heard it from Midoriya, and he seems pretty honest."
"Iida was with him too," Sero said. "Said they heard it from a Class 1-B girl."
"Aren't they our rivals, maybe they tricked us?" Jiro suggested.
"Itsuka Kendo was there, and she seems pretty nice," Flurry Heart said. "Momo-chan, didn't you intern with her? Can you vouch for her character?"
"I can confirm she is very honest and unlikely to deceive," Momo said.
"Plus Franklin wouldn't deceive us either, he knows what I would do to him if he did," Mayday said.
"How do you have friends!?" Mina asked, getting a glare from Mayday.
"Ahem!" Aizawa got their attention. "If you're done speculating then allow me to explain the rules."
"I'll take over actually," a voice said, coming from Aizawa's scarf. Needless to say that it confused many of the students until the Principal popped out. "This testing will be different for various reasons!"
"Principal Nezu!?" the students said in surprise.
"The testing will be hero work of course, but also teamwork and combat against actual people!" Nezu explained. "So you students will be working in pairs and your opponents will be one of ten hero volunteers, isn't that fabulous!?"
"Wait! Hero Volunteers!?" Ochako asked.
"Yes, originally I thought to ask the teachers to combat against you, but I felt another method was needed here, so I contacted several heroes, many you would all know, since some of you students interned with them," Nezu said.
"Interned!?" Kaminari asked. "You don't mean..."
"You guessed right, young hero!" a familiar overly dramatic male hero voice said.
"Us heroes will educate you on the true meaning of heroics!" a familiar overly dramatic female hero voice said.
Within seconds, Gohan and Videl in their hero suits landed beside Aizawa and Nezu, posing dramatically for the students. "The Great Saiyaman 1 and 2 are here for your hero training!"
"Saiyaman 1 and 2?" Kirishima asked. "Wait you got them for the Practical Exams?"
"How did you manage that sir?" Momo asked.
"Saiyaman 1 and 2 are former UA Students, and they do love lending assistance to various schools across the country," Nezu said.
"Sometimes I substitute as a teacher for many schools!" Gohan dramatically revealed.
"Hey Flurry, didn't you intern with them?" Ochako asked.
"Yeah, it was fun, but I am still surprised they're here," Flurry said.
"Life's full of surprises!" a familiar brash female voice said.
"Gotta roll with them!" a familiar cocky male voice said.
"Oh boy," Mayday said, recognizing the voices.
Coming into view were the duo of Johnny Storm and Rainbow Dash, the two standing beside the other heroes and teachers.
"Rainbow Dash and The Human Torch!?" Kaminari said. "Here? At UA?"
"Well we've been here before kid, we attended this school too," Rainbow Dash reminded.
Bakugo groaned in frustrations, "Not these two again."
"Sup Katsuki!?" Johnny greeted, Bakugo turning his head away.
"Are all the volunteers former UA Students?" Kirishima asked.
"Not all of them," Nezu said. "In fact here comes a couple who have never attended UA."
Next coming into view were the duo of Logan and Fluttershy, again surprising the students.
"No way! It's Wolverine!" Mina said.
"And Faith, she's here too!" Sato added.
"Not sure how we got roped into this, maybe it's my own curiosity about you kids," Logan said.
"Wish our daughter were among you kids, but she has her own testing," Fluttershy said, then noticed Tsuyu nearby. "Oh hi Tsu, I look forward to seeing your progress."
"Uh, thanks Fluttershy," Tsuyu said.
Logan took note of Bakugo's scowl, "Hey kid, you might be my opponent, get ready."
"Bring it," Bakugo declared.
"Do not pick fights with one of our volunteers, unless you're assigned to them I will not allow unnotarized fighting," Aizawa said. "Any student caught in violation will immediately fail and any pro I catch doing so will have their license suspended, I will personally see to that."
"Alright bossy," Johnny said, doing a mock salute, much to Aizawa's annoyance.
"Well, it would be a good thing that Rina's not here for Uncle Logan and Auntie Fluttershy to test, imagine how embarrassing it would be to have your parents as like teachers in your in school," Mayday said.
"You sure about that kiddo?" Mayday recognized that voice, one that belonged to her father.
"You were at school briefly in Equestria, so this wouldn't be the first time," she recognized that voice too, belonging to her mother.
"No...way..." Mayday said.
Within moments, Peter and Twilight came into view, standing beside their friends, both looking as confident as ever.
"Spider-Man!?" Sero shouted.
"And the Amethyst Sorceress!" Toru added.
"No way! We got those two here as well!?" Kirishima asked. "This Practical Exam is gonna be insane"
"I spared no expense on this assignment," Nezu said. "Well not really, they are volunteering, but I still wanted the very best for this."
"Uh...wait how are we doing this exactly?" Mayday asked.
"Put simply, it will be one of us against a team of you," Aizawa said.
"Us? You're fighting too?" Izuku asked.
"We only got eight heroes to come, and I did want to personally test you," Aizawa said. "Plus we couldn't find anyone else to come anyway."
"Not even Pinkie Pie or Deadpool?" Tenya asked.
"No, not inviting those two ever again," Aizawa lamented. "Not that it will stop them from coming."
"Wait, you said 'ten'," Mayday pointed out. "There's 22 of us, how's that gonna work?"
"It will be mostly teams of two, but for some cases, it will be teams of three," Aizawa said. "We want to get everything done today and this was the best way I could properly condense time, it's not by much but it's still something. We didn't want large groups, so 2-3 members should be enough."
"I can't believe we gotta fight pros though," Kaminari said. "Dibs on not having to fight Spider-Man!"
"Doesn't work that way here, we already decided everything," Aizawa said.
"Crap..." Kaminari lamented. "Spider-Man, Wolverine, Saiyaman, seems like I have a high chance of failing."
"Only if you mess up," Aizawa said. "In addition to who you're fighting against, your partners have also been decided. I made the choice based on fighting style, grades and relationships. For example, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu and Flurry Heart...you'll be a team."
"Huh? The three of us?" Flurry asked. "Who are we fighting?"
Aizawa briefly chuckled, unnerving Flurry, "Why, you'll be going against me."
"You!?" Flurry asked, creeped out by her teacher's smile. "Uh...not sure how comfortable I am with that."
"Because he's your teacher or because he's creepy as heck?" Peter joked.
"Peter!" Twilight shouted, then turned to Aizawa. "Please forgive him."
"Easy to see where Mayday Parker gets her attitude from," Aizawa waved his hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it, not the first time, not gonna be the last."
"Well, at least I have Momo and Shoto, so I don't feel too worried," Flurry said.
"You two better pull your weight, I don't want Flurry to fail because of you!" Mayday warned.
"Mayday be nice!" Twilight scolded.
"Honestly Parker, you should be worried about your team," Aizawa said. "First I'm putting you with Midoriya."
"Huh? Me and Izuku!?" Mayday turned to the boy, who seemed just as surprised. "Wow, we're gonna be fighting together!? Oh, maybe I can convince him to tell me about One for All, I just gotta-"
"And your second partner will be Bakugo," Aizawa added.
"SAY WHAT!?" Mayday asked.
"No way!" Bakugo shouted. "I am not teaming with that nerd and his bratty girlfriend!"
"I'm not his girlfriend!" Mayday shouted, a huge blush on her face. "Why does everyone keep saying that!?"
"Uh, Mayday, your face is turning red," Johnny pointed out.
Mayday glared at the hero as she quickly put her mask on, "What the hell Johnny!"
"Mayday don't-" Twilight shrugged it off. "Eh, it's just Johnny."
"...That's kind of hurtful Twi," Johnny said.
"Still, I don't want to team with Katsuki Bakugo!" Mayday said.
"Too bad, if you don't take part, you will fail, simple as that," Aizawa said, much to the two's annoyance, and Izuku's worry.
"Better know what you're doing Eraser," Peter hoped.
"Time to play nice Katsuki," Johnny smugly grinned at the sound of all this.
"Something tells me that Bakugo boy will probably get along with Izuku Midoriya and Mayday Parker as well as Vegeta did with me, my dad and the rest of our gang the first time he had to team with us," Gohan felt worried about this, and hoped this wouldn't end too badly.
"Wait, who are they going up against?" Twilight asked.
Suddenly another hero landed before them, a fellow UA Teacher and a high ranking hero worldwide. "I am here! To fight!"
"We're up against All Might!?" Bakugo, Mayday and Izuku realized.
"All Might!?" Twilight asked. "They're fighting All Might!?"
"Wow, maybe you should have gotten Captain America while you were at it, Superman too," Peter sarcastically said. "All Might's too strong for them!"
"I know what I'm doing Spider-Man," Aizawa said. "Your daughter along with Midoriya and Bakugo will be going against All Might."
"You three are gonna have to work together, if you want to win," All Might said, the three still feeling concerned, somewhat glancing at each other. Izuku and Mayday believed they could trust each other, but Bakugo would be a major problem in this scenario.
Seems like they have more than their teacher to worry about.
A few days prior, the teachers board had a meeting on how to best handle and prepare the students for their exams, and how the testing would go to match their current experience, plus what to do to protect their students.
"We as teachers need to take extra precaution for our students," Snipe said. "If fights against villains are gonna continue, how are robots practical enough for kids? Honestly the only reason we had robots was to avoid complaints about getting kids injured in the entrance exams, but they ain't challenging enough."
"Or we could ignore the complaints," Aizawa said. "We shouldn't let others determine how we run our school."
"But this could be a dilemma for us," Midnight added.
"Yes, fighting against us could be unfair to them, even if they are in teams of two," Cementoss said.
"We'd need to play it easy with them, that'll kind of make it hard to grade them," Present Mic said.
"Maybe we could stick with the robot idea, but instead of our own, we'll ask Tony Stark if he'd be willing to supply us with more efficient ones," Thirteen said. "His technology could make it a more reasonable test for the students but still controlled enough so they won't be in danger."
"Or we could use whatever technology Professor X has for the Danger Room at his school," Midnight suggested. "He wouldn't mind."
"By that logic, we'll go local and ask Kaiba corp," Present Mic said.
"Stark and Kaiba are UA graduates, I can see them wanting to help," Snipe said.
"You forget that they're both a pain to work with," Aizawa said. "Kaiba would probably take it too far and Stark might be too controlling of the testing process."
"What about Professor X?" Midnight asked.
"Even if that is a good idea, I doubt it'll be ready in time," Aizawa said. "Plus it's not like we have them on speed dial, in a way they are a competitor school."
"But they're not about what we do," Midnight said. "Professor X runs a normal school, if anything his Danger Room is just to help students control their quirks rather than become heroes themselves, that's why Rina Howlett transferred here, that's why Bobby Drake transferred back in the day."
Aizawa turned to Nezu, "Any suggestions Principal?"
"I do believe we should change the Practical Exams to reflect the current times," Nezu said. "We must push our students, make them as strong as possible to endure any danger they would encounter. But perhaps, it shouldn't fall on us alone."
"Huh? What does that mean sir?" Thirteen asked.
"I do agree with Eraser Head that combat against actual heroes might help, but I also agree with Present Mic, in a way we can't fully observe them from our standpoint if we're the ones they're up against," Nezu said. "This may contradict what I've said in the past, but the more I think of it, the more I realize that this really isn't relying on others for help, rather give other a chance to help the school that trained them so well."
"What are you suggesting?" Aizawa asked.
"Perhaps we can contact some of our other alumni, see if they're willing to lend their assistance," Nezu said.
"You want us to recruit from outside the school?" Midnight asked.
"I think that will be a wonderful idea, when I contacted Deadpool and Pinkie Pie, they seemed more than eager to come by even for one day, and they weren't even enrolled in this school, and when I saw Spider-Man at the Sports Festival, he seemed to be at awe of being back in the school that helped him with his hero career," Nezu said. "But, I will leave that decision up to Eraser Head, since it is his class."
Aizawa thought about it for a second, "While I can't say I have full confidence about this idea, I will admit that maybe it could work a little better."
"I do agree, it's easier for them to test the students," Midnight said.
"But actual pros are still going to be hard for them," Thirteen said. "At least depending on who we get."
"We'll give the students an advantage, but despite that, there are still two teachers here that I feel must test the students first hand," Aizawa said, grabbing some papers. "There are three students I personally want to test. The first being Todoroki, he generally does well but relies too much on brute force. Yaoyorozu is an all rounder but cannot make spur of the moment decisions, which has cost her at the Sports Festival. Finally there's Princess Fluurry Heart, she's talented but she's also a bit too naïve and a bit careless, treating everything like fun and games, especially with her magic quirk. So I'm going to erase their powers and exploit their weaknesses."
"Sounds good!" The teachers said.
"Next, Midoriya, Parker and Bakugo," Aizawa began, holding out their files. "I'll be leaving those three to you All Might."
"Me?" All Might asked. "But why?"
"Simple, unlike most students I had in mind, this wasn't based on ability or classwork, this is more about relationships," Aizawa said. "I know you have a soft spot for Midoriya, and I know you're buddies with Spider-Man and thus feel a need to keep an eye out for his daughter, but make sure they take something from this."
All Might looked a bit concerned, "Paying close attention, huh Aizawa?"
Back in the present, all the students were eagerly awaiting their team-ups and opponents. Peter of course was a bit distracted, hearing that his daughter has to go against All Might, especially knowing she had to team with a boy she really didn't like.
"Leave it to UA to stack the advantages against you," Peter remembered going through similar troubles. It did remind him of having to team with Johnny, while the two weren't as hostile given the fact they were raised together, there was still years of a rivalry that made it difficult for them on occasion.
"And now I will announce the teams and their opponents in order," Nezu said. "First up, Ejiro Kirishima and Rikido Sato will battle against X-Men Legend, Wolverine."
"Whoa! Wolverine!?" Sato asked.
Kirishima seemed a bit nervous, "Just my luck, I had to get one of the top dogs. If his daughter is scary I can only imagine where she gets it from."
Logan took a good look at the boys he was up against, "Barely know anything about the guy in yellow, but I do recognize the boy with the spikey red hair, made it pretty far in the Sports Festival. His quirk, not to different from Grimm's expect on a smaller scale. Problem is he seems to rely too much on brute force, that's something I'll have to help him correct, in my own way."
"The second test will be Tsuyu Asui and Fumikage Tokoyami against The Princess of Friendship, The Amethyst Sorceress," Nezu declared.
"Mayday's mom?" Tsuyu realized. "Come to think of it, I don't think I really know much about her."
"I do," Tokoyami said, getting her attention. "I've read about Equestrian culture, we must be on our guard at all time."
Twilight rubbed her chin, analyzing the two, "According to what Logan and Flurry Heart have told me, that Tsuyu girl is very athletic. I did see a bit from the Sports Festival, but I do want to know more about her, especially considering that she survived an attack from The Brotherhood. As for that Fumikage boy, he seems very determined, and there's something about his quirk that has me wondering about him, it almost seems like a power that Raven has. Is it a typical quirk, or is it a type of magic?"
"The third round is Tenya Iida and Mashirao Oujiro against the Amazing Spider-Man!" Nezu said.
"Are you kidding!?" Oujiro asked. "We have to fight Spider-Man!? Might as well give us the F now."
"Don't talk that way!" Tenya said. "Spider-Man is a formidable foe but that's the type of challenge we need." Tenya turned back to the spider hero. "Spider-Man, I feel nothing for gratitude to you, after all you took the time to help me overcome some of my grief. I still have a ways to go, but you helped set me on the path, to do battle against you, well that just feels ironic."
"Another martial arts type huh?" Peter realized, seeing Oujiro. "I've seen my fair share, though it looks like he's going straight hero. I mean, it works for Iron Fist and Shang Chi, this boy is going that route. Still, to go against Tenya, I mean he's a tough kid, wish I could have seen more of him, but I guess this is my chance."
"Round four will be Eraser Head against the trio of Shoto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu and Princess Flurry Heart," Nezu said.
"Still weird that I'm fighting against a teacher, but Rina told me she got to fight Cyclops and Storm, along with a few other X-Men teachers, so I guess it's not that weird," Flurry said.
"What could they be planning with this pair up though?" Momo wondered
"No matter, just stay focused," Shoto said.
"Sorry Twilight, but your niece is gonna get a dose of reality," Aizawa said. "That goes for the other sheltered children on that team."
"Round six will be the team of Ochako Uraraka and Yuga Aoyama doing battle against The Great Saiyaman 2," Nezu declared.
"Oh how marvelous..." Yuga scratched his head. "Wait, which one is Saiyaman 2?"
"The girl," Ochako answered. "She's pretty tough, but I'm not worried, I trained with Spider-Man!"
"Fitting that I get that gravity girl, she showed a lot of guts at the Sports Festival, almost reminds me of myself," Videl felt. "Not sure about that other boy, though he seems rather...shiny."
"Round six will be the team of Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari doing battle against Equestria's Element of Loyalty, Rainbow Dash," Nezu said.
"Me and Ashido? Against Rainbow Dash?" Kaminari realized.
"This could be fun, or worrying," Mina said.
"One uses acid, the other uses electricity, but neither one seems good at control," Rainbow Dash grinned a bit. "Gonna teach them a hard lesson."
"Then the seventh test, the team of Koji Koda and Kyoka Jiro against The Kindness Hero, Faith," Nezu said.
"Faith? Wolverine's wife?" Jiro wondered, Koda looking a bit worried. "I mean...she looks harmless though. Yet there's something about her that seems off putting."
"I don't really know that other boy, aside from how nervous he looks. Poor dear reminds me of myself at that age. Though from Logan told me about that girl, she's really cool under pressure, just like Tsuyu, she might help him overcome his worries," Fluttershy had to think this over, how to probably test both their abilities.
"Round eight will be the team of Toru Hagakure and Mezo Shouki, and they will be up against The Great Saiyaman 1," Nezu declared.
"So the boy right?" Toru asked.
"Yes, but be warned, I heard he has an impressive legacy," Shouji said. "His father is one of the strongest men in the world, he may not be much different."
"I only see one but I can sense the other," Gohan realized. "An invisible hero?"
"Round nine will be Hanta Sero and Minoru Mineta against Fantastic Four member, The Human Torch," Nezu said.
"This is gonna be something..." Sero said. "Bit worried honestly."
"Really wish I could have gotten one of the female heroes," Mineta lamented.
"Hope that Sero boy lasts longer this time than he did at the Sports Festival," Johnny joked to himself. "Don't know much about that other kid...wow is he short though."
"And of course, last but not least, All Might and his testing battle against Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo and Mayday Parker," Nezu said.
"Somehow I can feel the gazes of Peter and Twilight, probably worried for their daughter," All Might wondered.
"We got this Izuku," Mayday said, placing her arm around the boy. "As long as Grenade Boy doesn't mess us up."
"I'm more worried about you two dimwits slowing me down," Bakugo said.
"Look you!" Mayday wanted to fight but Izuku calmed her down.
"Let's focus on the test, if we fail it'll put a roadblock on our path to becoming heroes," Izuku said. "I'd rather not go through that."
Mayday groaned in annoyance, "Fine, only for you Izuku."
"Kiss-ass," Bakugo said, Mayday twitching a bit.
"You'd think he'd know better than to upset me after what I did to him at the Sports Festival!" Mayday angrily gritted.
"Fighting against your teammates will result in instant failure," Aizawa warned.
"Remember to be Loyal to those you're working with!" Rainbow Dash said. "Even if you don't like them...Katsuki!"
Bakugo angrily turned to Rainbow Dash, "You're not my mentor anymore! So don't-"
"Enough Bakugo!" Aizawa warned. "Or there will be consequences!"
Bakugo angrily gritted his teeth and turned away once again.
Logan turned to Johnny, "Couldn't do anything about that boy's temper?"
"I tried my best but I'm not a Miracle Worker," Johnny said. "Maybe All Might will teach him some humility via ass kicking."
"Because that worked so well at the Sports Festival," Logan sarcastically stated.
"There are twenty two kids here right?" Videl asked. "Because I only count twenty one."
"One of them is invisible," Twilight explained. "Guess you missed her at the Sports Festival."
"Oh so she is invisible, I was wondering myself when I only saw one kid," Gohan said.
"I worked as a guard so I couldn't catch all the students, same with Saiyaman I, but is there really an invisible kid here?" Videl asked.
"Yeah, me!" Toru said. "No one can see me, that makes me the perfect stealth hero!"
"Just be careful, some enemies might be able to see you still," Peter warned, then turned on his thermal eyes. "I mean I can see you right now since my suit has a built in-"
"SPIDER-MAN YOU PERVERT!" Toru covered herself up, getting an embarrassed reaction from her classmates and the other pros.
"Huh!?" Peter asked. "Wait, are you not wearing any clothes!?"
"Bet you're enjoying this aren't you!" Toru shouted, causing Peter to freak.
"Awkward," the classmates thought.
"I'm not, I swear! Look!" Peter immediately took off his mask. "There, now you know I can't see you at all!"
"Twilight not doing it for you anymore Peter?" Johnny joked, then took a web to the face.
"Can it Candlestick!" Peter shouted.
Johnny burned the webbing off, then turned angrily to Peter, "You want some bug boy!?"
"ARACHNID!" Peter shouted. "Been telling you for like thirty years!"
"Reminds me of Parker now," Most of the class thought.
"Well like a bug, they can get squished!" Johnny said, heating up as he stepped forward, Peter doing the same.
"Enough!" Aizawa used his quirk to erase their powers, ready to restrain them. "I won't have either of you fighting, do so and you're fired. I can easily replace you with two of UA's teachers so watch your steps."
"Yeah, save it for the Sports Festival next year, remember, the twenty years later rematch," Rainbow Dash said.
Johnny turned away, "You lucked out Spidey."
"Yeah, sure I did Torch," Peter said, turning away as well.
"One of the reasons why Johnny Storm wasn't the best mentor to Bakugo," Aizawa lamented. "Spider-Man is no better honestly, probably sets a bad example for his daughter in their home life."
"Kind of wanted to see them fight," Kaminari said. "My money's on Spider-Man."
"I don't know, I heard the Human Torch can get hot, like hotter than a volcano," Toru said.
"He can get way hotter than that Toru," Mayday said. "Uncle Johnny, you can go Super Nova right!?"
"Yeah, but it might destroy the planet so I try not to," Johnny said. "Fun fact, Endeavor can't go Super Nova, so I'm stronger than him."
"We know Johnny," Videl said, rolling her eyes a bit. "Strength isn't everything though."
"There's also experience," Logan stated.
"Maybe...I'm still stronger though," Johnny said, then turned to Shoto. "No offense kid, I got nothing against you."
"It's fine, it really doesn't bother me," Shoto said. "Looks like my dad has his own rivals, outside of All Might. He has mentioned The Human Torch a few times, on occasion I detected some jealousy in his voice, wouldn't be surprised if the old man wanted me to surpass The Human Torch's strength too. But, even I don't think I can reach Super Nova, what type of power does he have? How does a quirk get that strong?"
"Now I will explain the rules," Nezu said. "You have thirty minutes to complete the exams, in order to win you must place a special set of hand-cuffs on the instructor, or if you manage to escape from the combat stage."
"So we gotta capture the teacher or run off, similar to the combat training," Kaminari said.
"But is it really alright to bail from the fight?" Mina asked. "Doesn't seem very heroic."
"Actually, it reminds me of what Logan told me during the internship," Tsuyu said. "Not all quirks are suitable for each situation, it's better to get out of there if you're just going to be in danger."
"She remembered, good," Logan seemed rather proud of his old intern. "To her point, sometimes running doesn't mean you don't want to fight, but rather it can be used to get help."
"Remember the USJ?" Peter said. "The reason I was able to come is because I ran into Tenya and he told me about the villains, he did the same with All Might and the other teachers, so think of it like that. Even if you can't win, you can 'find' someone who can."
"Not just the USJ either. Midoriya, Iida, Flurry and Todoroki...you four should remember Hosu," Aizawa said.
Tenya remembered, how his carelessness nearly cost him his life, and the lives of others, "I won't make that mistake again."
"This exam will be like a real battle," Gohan said. "So for the purpose of this exam, think of us as villains."
"Mwahahaha!" Johnny mock laughed. "Villainous enough for you kids? Remember, I'm the one in the way of your Summer Camp dreams, so in a way, I am a villain because I'm going to do everything I can to prevent a summer of training and fun."
"If you come across any of us, fight only if you think you'll win," Twilight said. "Be smart about this."
"So, we fight to win, or run to win," Izuku said.
"Exactly!" All Might confirmed. "It's a test of decision making skills, but you might think your only real choice is to flee given our power and experience, but that's where the support course comes in handy!" All Might pulled out some cuffs. "That's why the support course made some super clever accessories for us!"
"Wait, we're wearing those?" Johnny asked.
"Yes, these weights will add half our body weight to our physique," All Might explained.
"Uh...that won't do much for me, I can lift like hundreds of times my own body weight," Peter said. "Honestly would they even work for you All Might? You're pretty strong yourself."
"Plus, I might actually burn through mine," Johnny said. "I can go Super Nova, so a little metal won't hinder me much."
"I might need a fair deal myself, those things look like something my dad regularly trains with," Gohan said.
"Do not worry, when Eraser Head confirmed you three would be joining, I got a little assistance from our old friend Tony Stark," All Might said.
"Much to my chagrin," Aizawa said.
"So Tony Stark designed these?" Izuku asked.
"Not exactly, he helped but it was actually one of UA's own who came up with the idea," All Might explained. "We had a contest which was won by Young Hatsumei!"
"Hatsumei?" Johnny asked. "Wait isn't she that weird girl who turned Tenya Iida into an unwilling product demonstrator?"
"My biggest most shameful moment," Tenya lamented, Oujiro patting him on the back in reassurance.
"They were intended for the teachers, since those were your original opponents should these eight heroes turned us down, but once we got everyone here to come, some needed adjustments," Aizawa said. "So we had to ask Tony Stark for a little input. Thankfully he was cooperative, mainly since he had a fondness for Hatsumei and wanted to endorse her skills. Since he knew Spider-Man and The Human Torch really well, he was able to adjust them so they would actually handicap them, like using a Power Modulator for Spider-Man and formed a material so Human Torch couldn't burn through it. He used the same material in his suits after a quick trip to The Baxter Building in New York."
"Quick? That's on the other side of the planet!" Kirishima said.
"Remember who we're talking about," Aizawa reminded. "After all, two of you are going up against a girl who can teleport to whatever part of the planet she wants."
"It takes a deal of energy mind you, but I can easily go back to New York right now if I choose to, or Equestria," Twilight said. "I did that a lot for Peter when he wanted to patr...I mean see his aunt."
"Right...see his aunt," Aizawa said, knowing that the two had done this back in the day to do vigilante work in New York during their time off of school. "As for The Great Saiyaman, we did not go to Tony Stark, rather he directed us to Capsule Corp, since President Bulma knows his powers a lot better, she came up with her own gravity modulator for a proper handicap."
"Everyone, try them on, we do want to see..." All Might lost some balance when he strapped his in. "Oh my, these are heavier than I thought!"
Logan, Fluttershy, Twilight, Videl, Rainbow Dash and Aizawa also felt it when theirs got strapped in. Even Peter was amazed when his fully got strapped in, feeling a weight pulling him down.
"Wow, Tony knew just what to do," Peter commented, throwing a couple of air punches. "My speed decreased."
Johnny tried burning through his, but it didn't seem to work, at least not at his level. "Well, now they're fire proof."
Gohan flew with his, feeling some weight pulling him down. "I bet I'd feel it even if I went Super Saiyan."
"Why do you think we need handicaps anyway?" Bakugo asked. "I can win against any of you, even without those handicaps."
"Hey I'll take you on right now kid," Videl warned. "Give me a second to take these off and I'll show you what type of hell I can unleash."
"Does no one listen to me!?" Aizawa asked. "No unauthorized fighting!"
"I'm sorry, I wasn't listening Eraser, mind repeating that?" Johnny mockingly asked, getting a glare from Aizawa.
"I could get your nephew a week of detention if I wanted to Storm," Aizawa warned.
Johnny shrugged it off, "Moody, can't even take a joke."
"Let's try to be civil here, especially you Human Torch," All Might warned. "As for you Saiyaman 2, you have your opponents, you should be focused on them. And for you Young Bakugo, I can tell you'll make a very fun opponent."
"Just be careful out there All Might," Rainbow Dash said, then gestured to Izuku. "If you mess up that boy's handsome face, all the girls will hate you."
Izuku blinked in embarrassment, "Huh?"
"Just food for thought," Rainbow Dash teased.
Many of the guys glared at Izuku in envy, hearing an attractive hero like Rainbow Dash compliment him like that. None of them forgot the kiss she gave him at the Sports Festival. Kaminari and Mineta seemed to be the most jealous, wishing it was them Rainbow Dash complimented.
Even the girls seemed a bit confused and curious by that statement. Mina though Izuku was kind of cute but not that cute compared to Shoto, Jiro didn't find him appealing much and didn't understand what Rainbow Dash was talking about. Momo found Izuku average at best, Toru could see some appeal but not too much. Tsuyu took a nice look at Izuku, she did think he was attractive, not that she would ask him out, mainly since she had another boy on her mind, but she understood Rainbow Dash's words.
The only girls who seemed embarrassed by the idea of thinking of Izuku a cute were Ochako and Flurry, the former trying to deny any feelings while the latter couldn't stop fantasizing about him. Of course there was Mayday, who took a nice look at her partner in the exam. She felt some pride knowing that she got to team with him and seemed to take Rainbow Dash's words as truth, if only to brag to the other girls that she got such a good looking boy as her partner.
"Alright let's begin, you all know your order and we have a stage prepared for you," Aizawa said. "Sato, Kirishima, you're both up."
"Yes sir!" both said.
"Those awaiting the fight can watch the other exams or strategize together as a team," Aizawa said, walking in with the other instructors. "It's your choice."
After the teachers left, Tenya turned to his teammate, "Oujiro, let us strategize the use of our quirks together."
"Uh sure," Oujiro said, then quickly turned to Mayday. "Hey Parker, just curious, do you think we-"
"You're both screwed," Mayday said.
"Mayday!" Flurry scolded, then focused on Oujiro. "Remember, you don't have to beat him, there are other ways."
"Right," Ouijiro turned to Tenya. "Well let's talk this over anyway."
"Hey Tokoyami, let's go plan as well," Tsuyu said.
"Good idea," Tokoyami said, the two walking off.
"You're both screwed too!" Mayday called to them.
"Stop saying that!" Flurry scolded.
"I still wanted one of the other heroes, have you seen Amethyst Sorceress and Saiyaman 2?" Mineta said. "Especially after their TV Show appearance where-"
"Hey!" Mayday lunged at Mineta, the student quickly running away. Mayday didn't give chase, satsified with the scare she put in him. "Freaking kid..."
"What a little scumbag," Sero lamented. "So Parker...about The Human Torch."
"Do I even need to say it? We're all screwed," Mayday said. "My mom, my dad, their friends, the teachers, they're strong! Really strong! I mean how the hell am I suppose to beat All Might? That guy is at my dad's level, and my dad is at least twice as strong as I am. Even with those handicaps I'm a bit worried, this test is unfair to us!"
"Wow, never seen you so concerned Parker," Sero said. "Well, consider this, you're last so you have more time to plan and even see what the other students do. Me, I'm gonna make some plans against The Human Torch, I think our team can win if me and my teammate plan things out correctly."
"Just, word of advice, Uncle Johnny's used to seeing people swinging around, so don't use that as a tactic to try and confuse him," Mayday said. "I know you want to emulate my dad, but Uncle Johnny knows my dad well, you gotta try to be unique. But one weakness Uncle Johnny has is that he can be a bit overconfident, if you manage to exploit that, you might have a shot."
"Alright, sweet, thanks Parker," Sero said, going to find Mineta.
"Huh, so you can be nice," Flurry commented.
"Oh shut up, you're just as screwed, once Aizawa erases your quirk you're gonna fail," Mayday said. "You're not that strong of a fighter and no way your ballerina style is gonna help much."
"That girl could stand to be a little nicer to her cousin," Momo mentally berated. "Flurry, come with me and Todoroki, hopefully we can come up with a plan."
"Right..." Flurry said, following the two.
At the Monitor Room, Izuku had walked through the door, hoping to observe the other students, and the pros they would be facing off against. Once he made his way through however, he was greeted via hug from a very familiar pro.
"Izuku! It's so good to see you again!" Pinkie Pie greeted, surprising the boy.
Izuku couldn't believe that Pinkie Pie was here, he figured she would be among the pros they had to face. He could think of another reason why she was here, if he could breath. His face was smooshed against the older girl's breasts, limiting his oxygen supply. He frantically waved his hands, hoping to signal that he needs air before he passes out.
"Yo, Pinkie, think you're being too friendly, don't want to take his breath away," Deadpool joked, also nearby.
Pinkie realized what was happening and released Izuku, the boy finally catching his breath, sporting a huge blush on his face. "Sorry about that, guess I got too excited."
"It's fine," Izuku insisted, trying to turn away, the embarrassment of getting what's known as a puff-puff treatment, albeit unintentionally, was a lot for him. "I'm surprised you're here though."
"So am I," came a voice. Turns out Recovery Girl was there as well.
"We heard from Dashie that Eraser Head was looking for instructors, so Wade and I volunteered!" Pinkie said.
"Then he told us 'no'," Deadpool said. "Jerk."
"Come on Wade, he might have had everyone picked out already by the time we asked him," Pinkie said. "But we really wanted to check on you kids and how far along you all came."
"So we insisted on at least being in the back," Deadpool said. "Plus if there's trouble, we can be quick to help put a stop to it."
"Our only regret is that we couldn't bring our kids," Pinkie said. "Real shame, we were hoping that Elanor and Li'l Cheese could see everyone fight."
"Then Aizawa is like 'No kids' or something, which is weird because this is a school, kids should be allowed," Deadpool said.
"Kids who are enrolled, not toddlers who could escape and get into trouble," Recovery Girl said.
"Elanor's not a toddler though," Deadpool pointed out.
"Still, at least they're at Capsule Corp, Bulma was really insistent on baby-sitting," Pinkie Pie said. "Which is fine, Li'l Cheese could play with Bulla, and I think Pan's there too, she plays with Bulla a lot. Peter and Twilight also brought Benjy and Elanor is also there with Torus."
"More kids?" Izuku asked. "I don't think I know who some of them are."
"Well Pan is Gohan and Videl's daughter, Bulla is Bulma and Vegeta's daughter, Benjy is Mayday's little brother and Torrus is Johnny and Dashie's son," Pinkie explained.
"Plus our own kids, our daughter Elanor and our son Li'l Cheese," Deadpool said.
"That's really nice," Izuku said. "Well I'm here to see the other exams."
"They're right on TV," Pinkie explained, gesturing to the monitors.
"I'm gonna have my work cut out for me today," Recovery Girl said. "I hope these other instructors don't cause too much damage."
"They'll be careful," Pinkie said. "I think."
The door opened, revealing another guest, "Oh Deku! You're watching too?"
"Oh yeah, not often we get to see our classmates in combat, especially against esteemed pros," Izuku said.
"Hey Gravity Girl," Deadpool said. "We're here too."
"Wow, I thought you'd be out there, and your wife," Ochako said, waving at the two.
"Aizawa turned us down, so here we are," Deadpool said.
"Sorry to hear that," Ochako said, then turned to Izuku. "So, no strategy planning for you?"
"Kacchan didn't want to, and Mayday went to talk to her parents for a second," Deku said.
"Understandable," Ochako replied. "My partner is a bit preoccupied with himself, he had a 'date' with his reflection."
"Seriously!?" Izuku wondered.
"Which one is your partner?" Deadpool asked.
"Uh, Yuga Aoyama," Ochako answered.
"Yuga...which one is that?" Pinkie asked.
"He has a really sparkly suit, armor, a belt around his belly and a red visor," Ochako explained.
"Huh, think I remember him," Pinkie said. "He was barely around for the invasion at the USJ though."
"Well, it's nice to see you here, the two of us can watch and observe together, that should be fun," Ochako said, feeling a bit shy
"Yeah, fun..." Izuku said, blushing a bit.
Deadpool whispered to Izuku, "Say the word and I'll clear the room so it's just you two. Do some teamwork of your own. Get what I mean?"
"Uh..." Izuku felt embarrassed, getting impure thoughts at the moment. Though he snapped out when another arrival came.
"Yo!" Mayday greeted. "Looks like there's a party in here, fitting that Pinkie isn't far away."
"Hi Mayday!" Pinkie said.
"Oh...Mayday, you're here too?" Ochako said, sounding almost disappointed.
"I can clear her too!" Deadpool loudly whispered.
"I'm fine, really," Izuku insisted, then made his way over to his teammate. "So, you came too?"
"Yeah, I got a little pep talk from my parents, and some scolding from my mom due to my 'inappropriate comments to my fellow classmates'", Mayday said.
"Oh I see," Izuku said. "So you're a little less nervous?"
"Yeah, a little," Mayday said. "I'll just take Hanta's advice and observe my classmates. My parents may be watching from their rooms, they're really eager to see Ochako in action."
"Who me?" Ochako asked.
"Well yeah, you were my dad's intern, he wants to see how well you fight," Mayday explained.
"Wow, now I'm a bit nervous," Ochako said. "I don't want to let him down."
"Don't worry too much, just do your best, and don't bring shame to my dad's name," Mayday commented, getting a glare from Pinkie.
"Word that better Mayday," Pinkie scolded.
Mayday sighed in annoyance, "Just try your best, no pressure."
"Uh, alright," Ochako said. She turned back to the monitors, where the first fight was about to begin.
"Team Sato and Kirishima, Practical Exam, ready, Go!" an announcer said.
Kirishima and Sato were walking through the streets of an empty mock city. The two power based students were doing their best to keep an eye out for their opponent.
"So, it's agreed that we'd get a better score from capturing rather than running," Kirishima said.
"Yeah, makes sense, but can we really capture Wolverine?" Sato asked.
"Yeah, can ya?" came a voice. Wolverine dropped from a building, with a SNIKT of his claws. "Better men than you have tried, consider yer options."
"Oh crap, there he is!" Sato said, getting into position.
Mayday smirked from the monitor room, "Uncle Logan's not wasting time, usually he takes a more stealthy approach, at least that's what daddy says."
"I'm just worried about those claws," Ochako said.
"Don't worry, he's trained kids back at the X-Men Boarding School, he knows how to go easy enough not to hurt them but still give them hell," Mayday said.
Kirishima hardened up, "Looks like we have to fight!"
"Leave it to me!" Sato said, taking in some sugar.
Rikido Sato, his quirk, Sugar Rush. For every ten grams of sugar he's five times as strong for three minutes. But if he ingests too much sugar, his cognitive functions will suffer.
Sato had powered up, ready to do battle along with Kirishima, the two rushing in to attack, though Logan anticipated that.
"Too headstrong, rookie mistake," Logan taunted. The two rushed in for a double punch but Logan had leapt away, landing near a building, using his claws to hang from the side.
"Damn, too fast!" Kirishima rushed in to attack, jumping at the building, but Logan side stepped again, Kirishima punching nothing but wall.
Logan landed on the streets, Sato going for some punches but Logan quickly dodged them and went for an elbow to his head. Kirishima rushed back for another punch, Logan grabbing the boy's fist before it could land. Kirishima tried an uppercut but Logan grabbed his wrist.
"This won't get you very far kid!" Logan tossed Kirishima through a window. Sato grabbed Logan, attempting to squeeze him into submission, but the mutant had powered out, then grabbed Sato and flung him toward where Kirishima was.
"Oh man, Wolverine's too good!" Ochako said. "Can we really win against legendary pros like this?"
"I figured, even with the handicaps it was a long shot, I mean they've gone through worse than having weights strapped onto them, they know how to work around their weaknesses," Mayday said
"Which is the point of this exersize I think," Izuku said, getting the girls' attention. "Pro Heroes have to get used to disadvantages, we were disadvantaged when real villains showed up at the USJ, then me and our other classmates at Hosu, even Asui and Jiro found themselves in that predicament against The Brotherhood. If we can't figure out how to beat heroes who in the end are gonna hold back, how would we last against villains who would stop at nothing to beat us?"
"Those two can win, they just gotta fight smarter," Deadpool said. "Of course beating old Fuzzy there is gonna take one hell of a plan."
Kirishima and Sato stepped out of the building, still looking ready for a fight. Kirishima hardened himself some more, "Come on man, we still got this!"
"Right!" Sato said, still focused himself.
The two rushed in again for a double punch, which Logan managed to block, though he nearly lost his balance. "They got strength, I'll give them that, but that won't do much fer them if they can't pace themselves." Logan quickly punched Kirishima in the gut, then punched Sato to the ground. "Come on! Do better than that!"
"Don't get cocky!" Kirishima said, going back in and try to tackle Logan down. The older mutant flipped and slammed Kirishima down for the effort, leaving a crack in the ground.
"Just like The Sports Festival, yer too eager to throw a punch," Logan said. He turned to Sato, who seemed to be taking in some more sugar.
"I'll take you down!" Sato rushed in for more punches, but this time they were getting a bit sloppy, his shots being less accurate than before.
Back in the monitor room, Ochako looked greatly concerned for her classmates. "They're not gonna win at this rate."
"Not if they keep fighting," Izuku said. "Wolverine clearly is more than a match for them, but it's not just strength, he's taking advantage of their weaknesses."
"Weaknesses?" Ochako asked.
"Kirishima and Sato have quirks that are powerful, but they can't use them for long periods of time," Izuku explained. "Wolverine's quirk doesn't have a time limit, not to mention he's mostly on defensive."
"So you think they should run?" Mayday asked. "If that's what you're thinking, then don't count on it. Ejiro would be like 'Oh that isn't a manly thing to do'."
"Physical weaknesses aren't the only thing a hero needs to concern themselves with, sometimes pride can also be a factor," Pinkie Pie said.
"Wow, that's so enlightening Pinkie Pie," Ochako said.
"Thanks, also what is that boy in yellow eating?" Pinkie asked, looking to the monitor.
"Oh, that'd be sugar, his quirk allows him to get stronger by ingesting sugar," Izuku said.
"He actually calls himself 'Sugar Man'," Mayday said.
Pinkie's eyes widened upon realization, "Best...quirk...EVER! If I had a power like that, I'D BE UNSTOPPABLE!"
"Huh?" Izuku said. "Oh right, you mentioned sweets once."
"I worked at a Bakery in my early days, my goal in life was to either make a living as a Party Planner, or a Baker, but now I'm a Pro Hero," Pinkie said. "Not that I mind, I still do that stuff when I can and I can focus on it fully when I retire. Plus when Sugar Man goes pro, he can totally be my sponsor. Wow, such a cool name too, I see big things for that boy!"
"Well at least he has a potential path," Ochako said, looking back at the monitor. "If he can get through this..."
Kirishima and Sato were both starting to feel some fatigue, the rock skinned boy maintaining a fighting stance regardless, "I swear this a machine, it looks like he hasn't even broken a sweat! How did Tsu survive training with him for a week!?"
"I'm getting tired man," Sato said, his quirk finally taking an affect on him. "I need a nap."
"Come on man! Snap out of it!" Kirishima said. "If you don't then we're gonna lose!"
"I'd say it's just about too late fer that bub," Logan said, making his way back over. "Probably shouldn't have let yerself or yer partner get worn out."
"Worn out?" Kirishima said. "Wait, what you said before." Kirishima did recall Logan mentioning that he's too quick to throw a punch. That actually reminded Kirishima of his training with Vegeta.
"When you engage battle, the smart thing to do is to pace yourself, don't go full strength from the start, you might make a mistake or wear yourself out, start small and work your way up. In the field a decision like that could mean life or death, so choose wisely."
"Looks like I messed up sir, I'm sorry," Kirishima looked ready to call it quits when he remembered something. "No, it's not too late, we can still win this. I hate to say it, but Wolverine is too much for us, I gotta get me and my partner out of here. Running away isn't exactly manly but...come on, now's not the time, pretend it's real fight, if this were really a villain a friend of mine could get killed, and if I can't stop him someone else would have to, I can still do my part in protecting the people around me!"
"Giving up kid?" Logan asked.
"I'm not one to quit, but I know when I'm outmatched," Kirishima said. "Sorry Wolverine, but this is where I say sayonara."
"Think I'm gonna make it that easy!?" Logan rushed in again, swiping with his claws, which Kirishima blocked with his hardened body.
"These claws hurt! My armor isn't doing much!" Kirishima realized. "Gotta move fast!"
When Logan went for another attack, Kirishima quickly parried the claw, giving him space for a strong punch to Logan's gut. He then lifted the veteran hero up and ran directly into a wall, knocking Logan through and on the floor.
"That should give me enough time!" Kirishima quickly ran back to Sato, helping his friend. "I got ya buddy, let's skedaddle."
The two started making their way for the exit, but not without Logan catching wind of his plan. He pulled himself off the ground, and started making his way to the two boys. "You ain't getting away that easily."
Logan made a mad dash for the two, but Kirishima wasn't going to let himself be deterred. The exit was right there, he just had to keep pushing for it. Logan continued booking as fast as he could go at the moment, the weights holding him down a bit but he still had enough momentum to get close.
Just before reaching the exit, Kirishima and Sato were blocked by Logan, the older hero somewhat smirking deviously. "Looks like I've caught my prey."
"Not good, gotta think fast!" Kirishima turned to Sato. "Forgive me!" Acting quick he threw Sato over Logan, surprising the hero as the student landed right outside the goal line. Logan turned back to Kirishima, but his brief distraction allowed Kirishima to land a vicious blow to his jaw, knocking him out the way long enough for Kirishima to jump to the exit.
"Team Kirshima and Sato have passed the final!" an announcer said, signaling the end of the first fight.
"They did it!" Ochako excitedly declared. "Kirishima and Sato made it across the finish line!"
Izuku sighed in relief, "That's good, to think they survived against Wolverine."
"Not an easy feat, but respect to those two for pulling it off," Mayday said. "Well Ejiro did most of the work, but still, he did great."
In his room, Bakugo had overheard the announcement, smirking to himself a bit, "So, spikey hair won huh? Better have after all that tutoring I put him through."
Even Tsuyu looked a bit surprised when she heard the announcement, "Kirishima made it past Wolverine?"
"You trained with Wolverine for your internship, tell me, is this an outcome you foresaw possibly happening? Or does the end result surprise you?" Tokoyami asked.
"Honestly, I am a bit surprised that Kirishima won, but not too surprised," Tsuyu said. "Not that Logan couldn't beat him or Sato but..." Tsuyu had an idea of what may have happened. "Maybe he held back? Seems like something he would do."
Recovery Girl left her seat, "I should check on those boys, especially Sato, I'll be right back."
Izuku still looked a bit nervous, despite the outcome he worried what could happen next, "Those two barely made it, if the other exams are like this then our chances of passing are much lower than I thought. Can I even last against All Might? Even as a team?"
Somewhere in Capsule Corp, there was another unexpected audience. Tony Stark, who while helping with the restraints, had secretly had the cameras to the UA facility rewired to the current building so he can observe the Practical Exams, and he was not alone.
"So, I want some opinions here, what did everyone think?" Stark asked to the six others in the room. "Rhodey, let's start with you."
"I mean, they did alright, even if the guy in yellow got knocked out pretty fast," Rhodey replied.
"Yeah, seemed to be eating a lot of sugar, not sure if that's related to his powers or not though." Stark said. "Seto, Bulma, either one of you have a comment?"
"Couple of muscle-heads those boys are," Kaiba mocked. "At least that boy with the red-hair put his training to good use. He better have, if I wasted my time with him there would have been hell to pay."
"Hey, is this really a good idea?" came the voice of Medaka. "I mean, is this even legal? That we basically hacked into official UA equipment?"
"Oh they'll never figure it out, plus it's not 'illegal' per say, it's just...eh, a bit unethical perhaps?" Stark tried to explain. "Look my company, along with Capsule Corp helped out with the test, so I think we have a right to make sure our products are properly utilized."
"Seems like a stretch of a reason," Medaka said.
"Ignore it Medaka, what's done is done, it can't be helped," Vegeta said.
"Exactly, plus Vegeta, you trained that boy too, so you should see his progress," Stark said.
"I am pleased to know the boy from my internship did well," Bulma boasted. "Anyone representing Capsule Corp should be top notch."
"Someone's full of themselves," Vegeta teased. "But I do agree with you, he almost messed up at one point, thankfully he pulled himself out of a sticky situation. Though if I'm being honest, I wasn't sure how well he would last against Wolverine, I wouldn't be that surprised if he lost."
"I can't wait to see more," Bulma said.
"...I still have my doubts about this," Medaka said.
"You don't have to be here then," Stark said. "I mean I'm here because it involves something I helped adjust for the training, Rhodey's here because he's my assistant."
"Assistant?" Rhodey asked, very surprised by the comparison.
"Bulma's here because she was also involved, Seto's here because he's a business partner, and Vegeta's here because of his ties to Capsule Corp, just like you, after all this company helped you get your own start. Everyone here has a purpose, you should realize yours."
"If everyone has a purpose," Vegeta gestured to the seventh person in the room, that being his sword rival, "Then why is Kakarot here!?"
Goku, who had been quiet up til now, seemed pretty bothered by Vegeta's statement. "Hey what's wrong with me being here? This somewhat involves me since my son is one of the trainers, plus those kids are strong, I want to see how they get trained."
"Could have been worst, he could have invited Yugi," Seto said.
"Worse for you perhaps, Kakarot isn't your rival," Vegeta said.
"Oh get over it Vegeta, so Goku's here, big deal?" Bulma asked. "He didn't randomly show up, I invited him when he brought Pan over to play with Bulla."
"Should someone check on the kids?" Medaka asked.
"My mom's watching over them," Bulma said, showing a video monitor of her mother Panchy watching over Pan, Bulla and Li'l Cheese, with Elanor on the side conversing with Torrus as the two did some of their own school work. "They're fine."
"Looks like the next fight is up," Stark said. "Get ready for more."
Next up was Tokoyami and Tsuyu, their exam had started and were placed in what seemed like a coliseum.
"Starting us in the middle of a stage," Tokoyami acknowledged.
"To escape we gotta pass the designated gate," Tsuyu said. "But that means our instructor is there too."
The buzzer went off, signaling the next fight, "Team Asui and Tokoyami, practical exam, Ready, GO!"
"Be on your guard," Tokoyami said. "You never know what tricks Miss Sorceress may have."
"Can it really be that bad?" Tsuyu asked. "I know you said Equestrians have strong magic but aren't they also about Friendship? Especially with the way Flurry Heart is I don't think Miss Sorceress will be too much trouble."
"I wouldn't say that," came Twilight's voice. The two looked up and saw the hero in question. "I am all about Friendship, but that doesn't mean I won't push you two to be the best. I am a teacher at my own school, and I do teach magic to those who have the ability." Twilight suddenly began to exude a lot of magical energy, the force nearly knocking Tsuyu and Tokoyami back. "And not to brag, but my abilities are pretty high, some believe my power can even surpass that of my husband."
The two students readied for a battle, hoping to pass this exam, unwilling to be the first team to lose. But against an opponent like Princess Twilight Sparkle, those odds may be much lower than they hoped.
