Chapter 10/Home
My friends and I told me that we would all meet at Nora's to catch up since Jumanji. When I was still in the basement I saw Alex and I began talking to him,"So Alex I'm glad we're finally home aren't you going home to see your beautiful children." He nodded his head and began walking away so instead I just hugged him and he looked rather surprised that's when he smiled and disappeared.
-Nora's-
When I opened the door to Nora's I saw my group of friends and when they saw me they smiled even wider,"Bethany I'm so glad you could make it,"Martha proclaimed while holding Spencer's hand and we all smiled,"We've been through a lot so you guys understand being stuck in a video game twice."The waitress gave us cakes and Fridge tried to eat it,"Well do you think I should try cake? Well hell no I don't want to blow up anymore!" My team all laughed that's when we all caught up and I loved being here at Nora's with my friends.
(Alex POV)
I finally drove home after being in Jumanji that's when I opened the door and saw my father waiting for me,"Dad are my children sleeping?" That's when he nodded and he began smiling,"Why are you even smiling dad?" I just utterly wanted to know since it was creeping me out,"Alex my son how was "helping" Bethany out?" What the hell was he assuming? He thought I was making out with her why would I she's just a kid and I'm an adult,"Dad are you seriously thinking that way nope I didn't help her in that way and secondly she's just a kid and I'm a grown adult."
(Harold POV)
We were entering into a conservation about this Bethany Walker," Okay then if you think that way why do you keep in contact with her if she's just a kid and all do you even know how old she even is?" Alex stared at me with no answer in his eyes,"I seriously have no clue dad it's just that can we stop taking about her I just don't want to anymore," I shook my head.
(Alex POV)
"Do you by any chance have her number? So you can just text her"I nodded my head what the hell was my father thinking? I opened my cell phone and began texting Bethany.
Me- Um hey Bethany how are you doing I know it's late and all.

"Dad I really hope she won't text me back since it's kind of odd in the middle of the night,"That's when he smiled at me that's when my phone buzzed with a text message and I looked at it.
Bethany-I'm doing really good Alex what about yourself?
That's when we began texting and my father left me all alone with just my texting buddy and I.
Me-I'm doing pretty good
Bethany-What made you text me Alex since I so badly just want to know
Me-Well my father made me text you
Bethany-Seriously? I thought you were texting me all by yourself but you aren't
Me-So how old are you?
Bethany-I'm 18 and you?
Me- 38
Bethany-Wow you're old lol
Me-Well if you think that way you don't have to hang out with me
Bethany- Why would you say that? I'm just joking with you

I couldn't fully understand what my father meant I didn't think of Bethany more than just friends she was clearly friend zoned.I went upstairs to Beth and Andy's bedroom, when I opened their door I saw Beth's eyes just light up,"Daddy! I can't believe you're already home I missed you so much!" She called from her bed that's when I sat right beside her,"Young lady do you think you should be in bed it's pretty late."I was so happy seeing my children again I missed them so dearly,"I was just waiting for you daddy but you didn't show I'm glad you're home daddy I love you," She kissed my cheek,"I love you too Bethany sweetdreams."When I walked towards the door I already heard Beth snoring and especially Andy.Thats when I went to my bedroom and couldn't wait for a brand new day.
(Bethany POV)
I was still sleeping when my alarm went off why do I even have to get up early? Since I graduated high school and it was currently winter break.I didn't attend college yet I was just saving money I was still thinking to myself when my mother came into my bedroom,"Bethany honey you better be awake in a few minutes you have to watch your brother while I'm working do you understand me?" I slammed my head in my pillow while yelling yes.I heard the sound of my door shutting I was still tired from last night but I clearly had to get up for Hunter,that's when I walked towards my closet and got dressed for the day.When I looked at my mirror I saw my reflection I looked rather happy I noticed my awful knotty hair so I put my long blond hair in a pony tail and made my way towards the living room seeing Hunter when my mother called me into the kitchen,"Bethany honey I need a word with you in the kitchen can you please come here before I go off to work." When I went into the kitchen I saw my mother staring at me with a smile to her eyes,"What do you need mom,"I smiled at her that's when she began talking,"Beth well I'm going to say this again well take care of Hunter when I'm at the office and the reason I needed to speak a word with you is because Hunter's play date is coming by this afternoon I spoke to her father this morning he seems like a wonderful gentleman so I'll just letting you know beforehand and by the way I didn't know you knew him you should have told me Bethany Elizabeth Walker! Don't keep anymore secrets from me do you understand?" that's when she kissed my cheek and left for work well wasn't my life amazing.I walked into the living room and saw Hunter watching television,"Hunter aren't you hungry?" He nodded his head and I sat right beside him asking what he would like for lunch since it was already nearing 12 that's when he eyed me with a smile to his face,"Bethie I would like to have a peanut butter sandwich mommy always makes those for me can you please?" I nodded and finally saw what he was watching for the millionth time Home Alone since it was officially the Christmas season.
I walked into the kitchen making Hunter a ppj sandwich when I heard someone knocking on the door that's when I rushed to the main living room to open the door when Hunter did without checking," Hunter what in the hell do you think you're doing you don't open the door to strangers do you understand me?" He looked rather sad when I screamed at him I'll just apologize later.Thats when I eyed the door and I didn't know that he was banging on my door at the time which was Alex.He looked rather cold and chilly and especially Andy and Beth,"Welcome to my home for the second time since it's snowing really hard why don't I make y'all some hot cocoa what do you guys think? Beth you can watch some tv with Hunter if you're wondering he's currently watching Home Alone which is a classic!" I made my way into the kitchen when I turned around and I saw Alex following me along with his beautiful son."Hey Bethany," he said rather awkward,"I know I didn't inform you that I was coming by this afternoon I'm dreadfully sorry for imposing we can just leave,"Why would he leave? I absolutely adored spending time with him since the whole getting sucked into Jumanji " You don't have to leave Alex.Bethany and Andy are always welcome."That's when he truly smiled and I absolutely loved it when he smiled.
(Alex POV)
I was still smiling at Bethany holding onto my son with both of my arms.She was making hot cocoa I walked into the living room while seeing Beth and Hunter interacting with each other I was smiling my daughter finally had a best friend which was such a great thing,"Do you guys both like hanging out with each other?" That's when Beth screamed yeah," Daddy can we please come here every single day,"I nodded head and walked towards the kitchen talking to Bethany.
(Beth POV)
Hunter and I became the best of friends we first met in Kindergarten and since then we have been hanging out.I was watching television with Hunter when Bethany came into the living room carrying hot cocoas for Hunter and I," Here you guys go but I'll warn you that it's super hot don't burn your tongue do you understand?" I nodded that's when I held the handle she was so correct,"Thank you so much Bethany,"I wanted to reveal my secret that my daddy was hiding things from Bethany,"Do you know that my daddy has a huge crush on you? He thinks about you all the time."Bethany's face turned red but my daddy accidentally split his hot cocoa all over him,"Damn it!" (He ain't holding Andy he's just taking a nap) When I reveled everything I continued watching Home Alone while drinking hot cocoa.
(Bethany POV)
What the actual hell Alex really had a crush on me? If he did like me in that way he had a funny way of showing it why would Beth even lie? I was still blushing when I mouthed to him,"Talk to you in the kitchen,"He quietly nodded while following me there,"I'm so very sorry whatever my daughter told you it's an accident I don't have feelings for you do you understand?" I shook my head with coming up with an argument,"Alex I don't fully believe you.Why do you even want my number?"
"Bethany I just want to stay in contact with you since you're my best friend I feel so connected I don't want to lose you and also you're way to young for me."Maybe I did understand but he wasn't going to win that's when I stared at his lips which looked so soft I wondered what it felt like with my lips against his? I really wanted to devour is whole face in general I stopped daydreaming we were only a few inches away from kissing when he was leaning and I was doing the same we were so close I just wanted to feel him everywhere that's when we got interrupted,"Daddy! Can you please come over here!" Alex's daughter called from the living room.I was sitting on the chair at the dinner table when I heard my phone buzzing it was just text messages from the group chat.

Bethany-Guys can't we please stop being so lovey dovy okay?
That's when I told my friends absolutely everything especially about Alex's daughter Beth.
Marta-Seriously Bethany? What if he does have feelings for you?
Bethany-Do you think he does?
Martha-Yeah definitely
I stopped texting my group of friends when Alex returned,"Where were we?" He asked with a dorky smile that's when he sat right beside me, I felt our knees brush."I'm sorry Bethany for thinking that I like you but I don't I'm sorry can we be friends?" I nodded with a glum to my eyes and looked up to his gorgeous eyes I didn't expect myself to do whatever I just did.I stared at his mouth and kissed him with a smile to my eyes,"What the hell just happened Bethany? You're way to young for me do you understand? If we did date everyone would turn their eyes and be just worried because I'm 20 years older than you I think you should find someone your age who loves you for you."That's when I turned utterly sad,"If you think that way Alex why did your daughter just tell me a few minutes ago that you had a crush on me? Why would she even lie to me? I really do believe her and all."
(Alex POV)
I couldn't believe that Beth told her that I had feelings for her?! Well you could say we always smile at each other but that's all and nothing more.I walked towards my daughter while saying,"Why did you tell Bethany that I liked her?" That's when she began talking."Daddy I know you like her duh I can see it how you look at her also you're always staring at her and she doesn't even know it you used to do that with mommy till' you know split up,"Okay then I fully understand what she meant when I walked into the kitchen area I proclaimed,"I don't like you okay? Bethany just told me I always stare at you which I don't,"Bethany Walker was blushing,"You're telling me you don't like me then why do you always stare at me? Even when you went to my graduation I could see the happiness in your eyes,"Did I fully believe her? Nope I truly didn't," What are you talking about? I don't stare at you...umm...so you were saying,"I said stuttering why in the hell was I acting this way, I was just joking I really did stare at her all the time it was really hard not to since she was so beautiful,What the hell was going on? Did I have feelings for Bethany?
(Bethany POV)
"Alex if you think that way let's just stop talking about it then do you understand? But I do think you really like me but you're way to shy to tell me especially since I'm younger than you and all," He was hiding a smile we were so close to each other that we would share our first kiss I already knew I kissed him without his permission let's just say that never happened since he clearly doesn't like me lair! "I'm not a shy person Bethany I truly don't have any feelings for you I'm being honest with you do you understand? Let's just say we never had this conversation okay?" That's when I nodded with so much confusion but I had to deal with it anyways since he clearly told me so many times that he didn't like me but I knew he was lying I could see it in his eyes."So umm Alex since the kids are watching tv let's just talk about anything since we're already seating," I said while looking into Alex's eyes with a wide smile,we began talking for the next hour just about mainly everything an hour went by which felt like a century just being with him."Bethany I think it's time to get going," Alex checked his watch with a shock,"Wow I literally cannot believe it's already 2 we've been talking for a while."He said with a laugh while smiling into my eyes, that's when I got up and walked towards him rather slowly while leaning into him,"Well I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day Mr.Vreeke," I said with a blush that's when he looked rather surprised,"Well Ms.Walker I hope you also have a beautiful day as well since your lips are so-" That's when he silenced his own self and looked rather shocked and it felt rather awkward,"What I meant to say Ms. Walker is that your makeup is ummm looking great." I didn't know what to expect since this was growing rather awkward he was leaning into me and I was leaning into him as well we were about to share our first kiss when his daughter interrupted us,"Daddy! The movie is finished..." That's when she looked rather suspicious with a wide smile,"Daddy did you kiss Bethany? I knew you liked her!!"Beth was really happy and began hugging her father."Beth we'll talk about this at home does that sound okay," she nodded,"Well Beth you can talk with Hunter while I'm talking with Bethany."
Alex and I were alone yet again but there was something that he wasn't telling me he already stated that he didn't have any feelings for me but he was leaning to kiss me what the actually hell was going on I thought to myself."Well that was truly awkward Bethany when my daughter walked in like that I really didn't mean to almost kissing you okay I admit it I really wanted to kiss you but I kept on dreading it for so long and didn't want to feel any emotions from you since you're just a teenager and all but I still really want to kiss you but I don't think you're into older men."What the actually hell was he saying? He's admitting his feelings to me and how badly he wants to kiss me,"Well Alex I didn't know you felt that way towards me I've been in love with you since Jumanji and now here you are in front of me admitting your feelings."Alex walked towards me rather slowly holding my gaze smiling I couldn't even feel my feet nor my hands I was in utter shock we were just a few inches away from kissing each other he whispered silently into my ear,"Ms.Walker would you like the pleasure of receiving a kiss from me?" He said rather softly while sucking on my ear I almost began to moan,"I would love to Mr.Vrekee."He silenced my words with a deep passionate kiss which gave me many emotions I returned the kiss and deepened it even further we were both kissing for what felt like hours,"Wow Bethany I haven't been kissed for a while." That's when we he re-returned the kiss I could see so much love in his eyes I was kissing him yet again that's when I kiss every inch of his face with my tongue it felt so nice that's when I wrapped my legs around his waist and he laid me down on top of the dinner table while he was a still kissing me I was moaning I just needed more from him,"Bethany I think we should postpone this for another day it's not because I don't want to make out with you which I really want to it's just that I have to bring Andy and Beth home maybe I could let my dad babysit my children and I'll come back later tonight doesn't that sound like fun?" I nodded my face," I totally agree with you Alex I'll just see you later tonight."That's when I winked at him, Alex gave me a huge passionate kiss before he left my house with his two children and I was left all alone with just my brother Hunter and the thoughts of Alex flooding my mind.
