Normal POV
After Vert passed through the StormShock, he arrived in an isolated battle zone. He stopped the Saber when he felt the pain again from both his head and chest.
"Ugh!" Vert cried out as he placed his left hand on his head while placing his right hand on his chest. Panting, he felt Draex'ux's attempt to take Vert over. He knew the Red Sentient had grown stronger than before.
"Feeling pain, human?" Vert heard him ask in his head, "You're getting weaker and weaker by the minute. You cannot hold on any longer..."
"No...way..." Vert refused to give up. He then felt a pressure inside him which was very painful as he couldn't bear it any longer, "Gah!" Vert shouted in pain and he hears Draex'ux's evil laughter. "Pathetic human. You don't have enough strength to fight against mine."
"Vert!" Agura's voice came through the com-link, "Vert, where are you?"
Vert wasn't sure how to respond, but he couldn't, he couldn't let her know where he was. So, he turned off the com-link, thus, cutting Agura off. Vert then got out the Saber and collapsed onto his knees as he felt the intense pain from his head and chest as he held them with his hands. "Seems your time will be up very soon, human." Vert heard Draex'ux's voice said before he added, "And looked behind you…"
Confused by what Draex'ux had said just then, Vert turned his head and saw Kyburi! Before he could react the Red Sentient huntress quickly knocked him out cold with a kick.
